A fun fact about myself, you asked? Well, if you can’t tell from my user name already, it’s obvious that I’m a big fan of Fatal Fury (especially its MC, Terry Bogard). I’m basically a living, walking, talking dictionary of almost anything Fatal Fury and, to some extent, SNK games as a whole. So, yeah, if you’d like me to recommend some classic Neo Geo titles for you, feel free to HMU!

What if I default to scrolling tables and let people opt in to tables that don't scroll if they are doing some weird design stuff?

I do want to prioritize mobile usability over table hacks.

Hmm... Not sure how this is gonna work, but do you think it’s possible to have two different defaults, perhaps? One for the mobile where you can scroll horizontally and the other for PC users, I suppose?

Not exactly. I just have a prob with the pics appearing extremely large on preview mode when they aren’t supposed to be that large after getting posted. Makes me second guessing if the sizes are already the right ones everytime I wanna upload posts with pics.

Incidentally I have been bothering over the table functionality recently, and I have been doing some CSS review and testing.

The main pain point I have found is that the various hacks used by people are causing a lot of unexpected behavior on mobile. For example, the combination of a heading amd sub or sup causes word wrap to go completely out of whack. Often this is also accompanied by BS like hacking the headers just to form a drop shadow effect:



I'll share more on the h/sub combo as soon as I figure out what is actually causing it - So far I've had no luck replicating the issue with a testing page.

I don't think there's anything stopping you and @Ezekiel from doing a sort of 'guest spot' where you collab and voice the character for a subplot or something. You just wouldn't be able to take Drax on as a full-time character.

I actually have no prob with that. Being in a subplot sounds great, even for a brief while. Tho, honestly, I’ve already felt satisfied with just writing Slade, either way. You know how long I’ve been waiting for this?

I think maybe it's just me but I kind of... miss the horizontal scroll in tables? Without it, I'm unable to see entire tables on mobile whether I use mobile or desktop view on my phone. Part of the table will always be chopped off and unreadable. No idea if it's my device or if other people have this problem too. It's perfectly fine on my laptop but, yeah, just makes reading full tables impossible for me on mobile now

You’re not alone. I have the same prob. One of my sheets used the exact same format, and I can’t even scroll it left and right after I posted it :/

Also, is it just me or the pics with higher resolution tend to be extremely huge when I preview my post? I sometimes even had to lower the size of my pics, thinking they’d be too big after I uploaded my posts.

Well, I mean, it makes sense, considering Stane used to be affiliated with Tony even in the comics. Thanks, you two, but thinking about it now, I might just go with Kingpin if it’s okay with @Pirouette and @Roman. Planning on making Slade his personal bodyguard, too, if the Stark tech angle goes smoothly for him.

I'd be happy for you to play Drax if you wanted to do so! Presuming I get accepted, otherwise it's not even my call anyway. I've never really understood the desire to not have someone play a connected character rather than have them as an NPC. Happy to discuss what eventual ideas I had for the unused Guardians (my plan was to likely have most of them show up as a bit of an antagonists to friends arc) but also all good with scrapping them if they didn't fit what you wanted to write.

Totally considering that! Drax has always been one of the Marvel characters I’d like to write, but rarely get a chance to. I might be applying for a Marvel character someday, but I dunno, is there a limit on how many characters we can apply for?
