The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

The time spent returned to the slave camp had been a welcome reprieve from the rest of the mindless, menial tasks they had set him on. His captor, rather his "liberator" in this case from the failed plot at the hands of a seemingly abusive half blood had taken enough pity on him to return him to a spot to rest. Perhaps it was the man's begrudging respect for a dangerous enemy and the nobility to carry out the duty of a captive or just it was the man cared nothing at all and simply thought the orc-blood to be a buffoon. Either way, it put the outlander at rest, where the first time in a time he came to sit. The taxing attempts on his body, the physical labor, had far from sapped his strength; his power deeper than just the muscle, sinew, and bone that made up the flesh.

But the mind was weary, not just for the reason these people were in bondage, forced to labor and toil likely until death under some dark, scaled evil, yet because the enemy was so near and they were failing to do anything to them. Yet, that was the key component he reiterated to himself time and again, yet. The Pale Lady would provide much earned vengeance on them, this time on other terms... but that was part of the yet. In the meantime, the period of being so much as seated alone, even among the prisoners, some of whom who huddled, others who stared off into the abyss, was a welcome time away from these troubles; it made ignoring the stench of these filthy fiends and their equally vile voices and praises to a dragon all the easier to shutout.

Awaiting closure still, needing to acquire the monk and depart, the huntsman bit his tongue and proved to bide his time until he could feel the leather wrapping of his brutal blade in hand again. To hear its strange edges sing and tear apart these monsters, true monsters; the creatures as the little scaled ones or the void souls of the human cultist, all little more than mockeries with dark hearts.

"All in time." Brannor muttered to himself, resting a forearm atop a knee.

No, I do not live anywhere that requires me to pay for parking. In contrast, there is so much open space that I doubt it will ever be a realistic matter. I live far from urban sprawl for a reason - nothing but absolute disdain for cities and loathe all the needless bustling - but as a whole I cannot recall the last time I needed to receive a ticket and pay for one on land. Unless of course you mean something else entirely, a good likelihood in our age, to which I say, "Why not just ask that?"

All the same, the topic of holidays is always an amusing one. So, we now know some rationale for favorite holidays, what about least favorite ones?
Because being a former villain is a far more interesting archetype, @Metronome. The sort of situation where one does the right things but not always for the right reasons and or is feeling them out. No less, that sort of, "Wait a moment, weren't you a 'bad guy'?" and the reply of "I still am." and the implications therein it holds are much more amusing. A redeemed figure, but not quite. Still not a paragon of good and righteousness associated with "heroics" but no longer the actual enemy.
Voicing my interest in the matter, if only for the sake of trying something different. Planning on attempting an anti-villain, or a character who certainly has tendencies and portrayals as a villain, but more noble than that and certainly is heroic in the literal sense but not so much so in the actual, practical sense, or even their ultimate motives or goals. That said, consider the prospect a "hero" of a sort.
I certainly have heard nothing of putting soy sauce upon an omelette, though from time to time pepper is much preferred. My omelettes tend to have no garnishes or sauces as it were, almost entirely devoid of anything but the eggs and the meat, but pepper is not a terrible option. I am unsure what soy sauce would do to it. It still seems like an edible suggestion at the very least.

Since we are on the matter of food, which is the least appetizing fruit and vegetable to you? Why so those?
My actual name contains nine letters, which seems to be a rarity, but it is a traditional name that is uncommonly found now. I suppose that comes with the territory of it being a gift bestowed upon me as a thing of purpose and motivation. Unfortunately, it seems people place all too little value on the meaning or an intent of name, so I consider myself honored to keep it with me, as ironic as it might be given my character, persona and outlook in life.

Speaking of names, in place of your true name, what name would you adopt for yourself if you can or could, why that name?
Very similar an experience then, @Silver Carrot. As if rolling it is not bad enough it is the Dungeon Master being giddy they ruined your night or upset you only missed.
That reminds me of the reason I decided once and for all critical fumbles and critical hits did not need much help, @RabidRabbit. My Dungeon Masters loved using random tables they found which had everything from, "You just miss, as normal." to "You kill your entire party." Needless to say, you can imagine when we rolled back to back fumbles of "You kill your entire party." we threw those rules out the window once and for all. There are only a few times critical tables, good or bad, come to make sense in my experience, and most tend to be significantly more punishing to attack roll based classes than they should be. Magic is already good enough, rather exceptional, no reason to make bad worse!
Or this one, @mdk. I mean it appears almost as if the truth was always out there and plain as day. I suppose they are only relevant or priority when convenient to the narrative. Speaking of, recall the CNN Town Hall last night? Seems there's plenty of proof it was all staged and scripted by the gun control opposition. So bad and dishonest are they, that they will not cover this this young man's story because it fails to fit the narrative. Here is a great example of scripting gone wrong, the exact event happens at timecode 50:30, but the lead in is pretty overt and is more or less shilling of tragedy through a select few students.
Land of Confusion

Some of us seem to well be relics of a time before, but at least I can admit I am further than arm's length from the modern era. Though it is true some things never change, and some are more applicable than ever, mayhap even more than those behind them thought them to be or ever meant to. Context is self explanatory in the piece.
