MIA for another week, pharmacy once again doesn't have my meds ready and without them I can barely function so from tomorrow onwards I'm gonna be away while I try and get it sorted

Oh this is probably already mentioned but right now it is something that is on the top of my irk list. People not playing to character.

They will list out in their characters psychology on a cs that they act one way, then in rp everything posted for them comes out contradictory to that characters set up. A timid character who is quiet suddenly in every post is brave and mouthy. A character that always is supposed to think things through is always jumping in and never considering any angle.

Or even worse, people who say their character suddenly know things their history and set have no mention of. A priest who has never seen a weapon much less battle suddenly is a sword master. A student in high school suddenly has the medical knowledge of the head cardiothoracics at the Mayo Clinic.

And the worst for me is an Rper using their OOC knowledge and attitude to post for their character, combining both the above and then some to where you are left face palming mumbling "stay in fucking character!!!"


Oh man yeah I feel you there. Especially when people do this for Canon characters as well and STILL screw up their personalities or whatever. Like I get that it can be challenging sometimes when the character's not yours but when it's obvious that they're not even trying (or it'seems THEIR OC which they set the parameters for) it just leaves me going T_T

and yeah, I'm not perfect and sometimes I'm guilty of being careless/scatter brained and doing some of the things you mentioned but I try my hardest to keep to the personalities and histories I set for my characters. Sometimes they change slightly as the rp develops and I improve the ideas and/or replace them with better ones, and very occasionally I'll make it up completely as I go along (which usually doesn't end well lol)

Heya, just a heads up for when you get back in case I'm still without it....my laptop is very very dead right now and I have to send it in for repair and hope they can fix it under the warranty.

I'm still about on the Guild because I can connect via my phone, but my posts might be a bit slower or shorter until then because I find typing on the phone keyboard much harder lol

HEND can't afford to waste any more time on the debate, his hunting party needs to look for prey. "I'm trusting your judgement, Robyn." he fixes his littermate with a hard stare. "Robyn is in charge." he reminds her firmly, beckoning Shadow and Carek to join him on his search for a game trail. They would try to locate a herd, and pick up any small prey they could along the way.
