Stark and Tyr

"I've grounded the first Dragon." Stark said to Tyr over the radio. "About two blocks from your position in the middle of an alley. I'll pry its mouth open, you fire down its throat. That a good "soft spot" for you?"

Upon hearing this Tyr immediately ran towards the downed creature's location, hoping to contribute at least something to its defeat besides crowd control. "On my way." he responded.

"Ok," Stark said, deactivating his microphone. "Jarvis, reroute all power to the hydraulics."

As he neared the creature, though, Jarvis spoke up. "I'm detecting a massive thermal emission from directly above. Temperature four thousand kelvin and rising. Should I continue rerouting?"

Stark looked up to see a giant ball of flame. "Shit." he said, activating his thrusters. He was only airborne for a few seconds when it hit, the heat wave pushing him further away. "Huh," he muttered, seeing the chard remains of what used to be a neck. "Where's the other one?" Jarvis answered with a video feed of its being swarmed as well. "That was easier than I expected. I guess we had better say hi." With that he flew over to the purple haired woman and the girl he had met at Starbucks. "Hi." he said, activating the external comms and holding out his hand. "Nice to see you again. And it's nice to meet you too. My name's Tony Stark."

Tyr had seen the explosion just as he neared the alleyway, and slid to a stop as he saw the dead creature. "Oh, come on!" he yelled, angry that he hadn't got to see any action. "I'm the best genetic specimen on this planet and the only action I see is a couple of looters!"

Inuyasha

Inuyasha took the earpiece. So he wasn't praying. This must be one of those "telephone" things Kagome had told him about, but it didn't look like the one he had seen the last time he was in the future. It was designed for humans, and wouldn't fit correctly if he put it in his ear like they did, so he held it up to his mouth, using his enhanced hearing to listen to it. "Moshi Moshi." he said, as Kagome had mentioned doing when answering a telephone.

The Johto NPCs, including their military, will be GM controlled. You can play a Johto character, you would just need a reason to be there. The Prince's group is unlikely to accept a Johto character out of fear that it would betray them, but we might have a rival group from Johto. Someone has already PMed me about the possibility of being a nemesis for us.
@Reflection@Typhon@Regitnui@Plumbum@0 Azzy 0I forgot to mention everyone in my post announcing that the OOC was up.
@Burning KittySure. That will work. They trust the Queen enough to hand over their weapons.
@GreenGoatAt first I thought this was how your character would react, so I didn't respond.

If you present the idea here, we can discuss it.

@Kipsateking He would probably refuse to talk with you, simply because he hates non-humans and Imps are rather obviously non-human. Torture might work.
I started an OOC in case anyone wants to work on a character sheet.
In the Pokemon world's feudal age, the nation of Johto launched an attack on the kingdom of Kanto, landing on the south shore. Normally sea invasions bring few pokemon with them, as they have to carry the food and water for those pokemon as well. This invasion seemed to bring hundreds or thousands with them, as the soldiers needed merely to throw what appeared to be an Apricorn at the ground to bring a captured pokemon into battle. The Johto soldiers quickly managed to secure a literal beachhead, and even capture a few villages.

King Grey sent out messengers to every village under his control, ordering the Lords that weren't in battle to assemble their armies at his Castle Town of Pewter. The messengers also delivered secret messages to certain people who had worked as agents for the King's court before (the players), ordering them to assemble in the tavern of the village of Palegh, near the enemy's captured territory, and meet his agent there.

We would have a few pokemon with us each, though pokeballs don't exist, just "Apriballs" which only Johto people have, so we have to take them with us like pets, and provide food (and maybe water) for them. Humans are generally Normal type, but we can learn pokemon moves as well. If a human can't do it in the real world, though, we may need equipment (including magical equipment) to use pokemon moves. For example, you would need a metal weapon/shield to use Steel type moves, or a fire stone to use fire moves.

I have only beaten the first and second generation games, and only their regions are involved, so only their pokemon are allowed.

I'll definitely need a Co-GM for this, as I have to many RPs going already, and need the help to keep the story going at a good pace.

Pokemon are from "the stars" and are generally of roughly human level intelligence, but most lack much of our creativity, leading to us being better strategists and having better tech. They are called "pocket monsters" because when they first arrived they were hostile to humans. The only way we could befriend them is to carry their eggs with us, generally in pockets, and raise them among humans. Eventually they formed a peace agreement with humans around the world.

They communicate mostly through body language, with their speech only being needed for verbal cues, like tone. Anyone can learn to understand them with enough study, and they all learn human language as children.
