@LegionPothIX How would someone without free will have the ability to worship someone? In my opinion, without choice...there can be no religion. The Ubi Vermis do not think, they don't have feelings etc or in other words no free will. There is only one mind that controls everything at the same time.
Also. I know my CS (more like nation sheet but whatever, it's kinda the same thing) is sparse. I've just returned to RPing/writing anything from a long break and I'm still feeling a little rusty. I know that shouldn't be an excuse but that is how it is with me, if I don't constantly do something...I loose my skill at it. I'll give it a another look and give more information, no problem. Thank you for taking time in reading the CS/NS and giving the advice.
Also. I am familiar with the Neurax Worm but strangely I didn't get inspired from there. The Neural Parasite ability of the Infestor creature from Starcraft 2 is the place where I got inspired from :)
EDIT : Another also. My race was not even remotely close to space travel or guns or anything like that when the Empire came so I don't have much to say about tech for them. Military ? None whatsoever. Only controlled creatures and nothing more. Only one leader that dubs as all the other important persons that other races have because there is only one "person" that can think in the whole race. In a way or the other...it's small because I don't have much to write about these things. I don't say that I couldn't (and probably should've) written something more in other places to compensate.

@LegionPothIX Are you sure you tagged the right person? My people are worms without any free will that eat minerals in larvae form and then whatever the hosts eat to sustain themselves. Also. No religion. Religion need free will to work, right? :)

All Ubi Vermis submit to the all knowing will of the Matriarch. Free will between the ubi vermis is considered taboo.
The Ubi Vermis are a worm-like race that live within their hosts most of their lives. From the moment they exit the eggs laid by the Matriarch, they are hers to command. While mostly defenseless while outside a host, they become stronger when infecting a creature. As soon as they enter a host's body either by entering through an open orifice,an open wound or by making a small incision with their small but sharp teeth, they make their way to the host's brain and assume complete control. When the control is established, the host's body starts changing itself at DNA level and 'thus enhancing the host's natural abilities. Be them simply a greater physical strength and a higher regenerative ability or changing the host's DNA in a way that would make him a monster in the eyes of his brethren. Ubi Vermis can enter the host's body and stay in a "latent" phase for as long as the host doesn't die / make an X-ray control 'thus making the worm visible. In their natural form, a Ubi Vermis can withstand extreme temperatures (from -100°C to 150°C), have a high tolerance for radiations (think cockroach resistance). They can burrow into the ground using their teeth while also being able to cut through ice and low level materials (plastic and the like).

The Lupe Demona are a race of wolf-life creatures that can survive in the harshest conditions due to their natural habitat being the "Wasteland" as the humans now call the third habitat of Aes 3. The Lupe Demona's are the first race that the Ubi Vermis infected when they first evolved, making them the creatures they are now today. Once they had fur and no claws but their ability to run for an extended time made sure that they could hunt for their food even if it meant exiting their natural habitat. Now that 99% of the Lupe Demona's have been infected and the rest original Lupe Demona became extinct, the Lupe Demona evolved in what they look like now.
Fugere Explosiva are the second race that the Ubi Vermis infected. Flying creatures that are akin to flies from Earth except for their natural ability explode at will, spewing their acid blood in a 1 meter radius and their size (big enough to be able to hold a human on their backs).
25% humans, 50% latent Ubi Vermis infected humans, 5% Ubi Vermis, 10% Fugere Explosiva and 10% Lupe Demona
The Matriarch is their Goddess
The Ubi Vermis don't have a culture per se. Because of the Hive-Mind is their will and thought. The Ubi Vermis adapt to the culture of the hosts they inhabit so that they pass undetected.
Planet Aes 3 was the homeworld of the Ubi Vermis since their evolution 2000 years ago. The planet itself is split in three different huge habitats. The first habitat is a huge jungle in which the Fugere Explosiva evolved and expanded on the whole planet from there, the second habitat is a rocky zone with valuable minerals beneath the earth and is the reason why the Empire colonized the planet and the third habitat is considered a dead zone because of it is a massive radioactive desert with quicksand and occasionally glow-pits (a glow-pit is basically a big hole in the ground covered by radioactive sand and at the bottom of the pit acid floods the pit). The third habitat is the place from where Ubi Vermis first appeared on the planet and slowly started to search for different species to infect. They took control of most of the Fugere Explosiva race and continued their infection-spree. That is when the Empire came to colonize the planet. At first, The Matriarch gave the order to study the humans and then infect them but soon retreated back to the Wasteland where humans couldn't survive. Seeing the power of the humans, a plan was formed by the Matriarch. Remain hidden until an opportune time would present itself.
After a few years of hiding in the deep sands of the Wasteland, the humans expanded and built giant machines to dig into the earth, eating away it's minerals. The Matriarch waited still for the moment to strike and it soon presented itself. A group of human colonist entered the Wasteland to explore it. Using Lupe Demona to attack and confuse them, Ubi Vermis larvae slowly but surely entered the human food and as soon as the humans ate it, they became The Matriatch's subjects. The Matriarch extracted the information they had on the human mining colony and then sent the humans back to their colony, making the Ubi Vermis inside them latent so they could pass undetected. 200 years later, the Matriarch watched the humans take control of most of the planet and retreated even further underground. The Lupe Demona became "domesticated" by the humans as hounds of hunt but unbeknown of the humans, they all served the Matriarch and she used them as silent spies and egg carriers. Ubi Vermis would exit their eggs from within the bodies of the Lupe Demona and infect the human masters while sleeping then going into a latent phase.
The Matriarch is the overriding will of the Ubi Vermis. She is their leader,spy master and Goddess. *IF ALLOWED IF NOT SIMPLY IGNORE THE FOLLOWING PART* Several security officers and the Chief of Security of the Aes 3 are infected with Ubi Vermis.
The Ubi Vermis do not have much in the means of the military but they can use anything that their current host can use so that means basically anything the Empire has and one of the infected human knows how to use it's usable by any Ubi Vermis infected host.
The two major military-like uses that the Ubi Vermis are the two minor races that live on Aes 3. They use Lupe Demona to attack and confuse attackers while Fugere Explosiva attack from the sky and if needed sacrifice themselves to kill the enemies of The Matriarch.
Ubi Vermis specialize on bio-tech, evolving their hosts beyond their normal form. Different creatures mean different evolution possibilities. Before the Empire came, the Ubi Vermis's technology would be somewhere under the technology of the Neanderthals from Earth but as soon as the first human was infected the Matriarch understood that the galaxy is much bigger than they would realize and more races exist to be brought under her overriding will. For the use of Empire Tech or other races, the Ubi Vermis must enter a host that knows how to operate the said technology to be able to use it.
