Slowly -- but surely -- coming back from a long hiatus.
Better known by the name of Tsu. An "advanced" roleplayer with at least five years of experience on/off. In real life, he is a college student studying in Asia, majoring in design-related fields. Outside of this site, he's also a hopeless poet and an indie writer currently working on his first book (as and when he has the time and inspirations to write something). Ok, some form of raw dark magic I can understand, but the ability to summon a cursed weapon? If you mean the necklace is a Greek fire (which is a weapon, not a mystical flame - I have to emphasize this) in disguise I'm cool with that, but to have Greek fire appearing on her hands out of nowhere or even controlling its flame is stretching my tolerance level for Mary Sue-ish characters too far. I believe that she has no whatsoever relationship with Hephaestus, who is the god of fire.

Do you mean something like Starfire from Teen Titans? For example, feelings of joy/anger amplifies her power while insecurity would cut off access to those powers?
Was on med these couple of days - feeling kinda groggy and disorientated, so replies will be much slower than usual.
For one, this is a forum and the 150,000 character limit is more than enough to think through what I want to write in the IC/how I should respond in the OOC. This isn't an IM and we all have a life to live, and we can't possibly be sitting in front of a computer waiting for a reply 24/7. There are times I do find speed-posters somewhat intimidating...
For my case I had a pretty balanced mix of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin whenever I did any of those tests - I was never in Hufflepuff, not even once. ^^; In the end Pottermore decided that I should be in the house of snakes, and since then I'm a Slytherin through and through.
I totally agree with the part about Hufflepuff - personally I don't think the Huffies are a bunch of 'weaklings' when compared to the other houses. Sure, this house seems to be the one who would take in the leftovers the other three houses didn't want, but I feel that Helga saw something deeper in each of her students that the other founders were blind to, and having empathy for others.
We pretty much got the rough plotlines down, so now we shall focus more on the characters. Since we're going with them knowing each other right from the start aka doing a timeskip instead of developing our characters together from bottom up, there will be loads of things we need to agree on in order to establish the common info in their background. For example, which part of UK were they born and grew up in? How did they met each other? Other less important stuffs like events that happened during their Hogwarts days can be discussed later as the IC progresses.
Maybe I can just give you a rough idea of the muggleborn character I have in mind:
= His family consists of himself and his two parents. No siblings.
= Prior to Hogwarts he's studying in a muggle school.
= Favorite subjects are pretty much practical wand works such as Charms, DADA and Transfiguration. Hates History of Magic.
= Not sure if I want him to participate in house Quidditch.
= After graduation I think he chooses to go back to his muggle life instead of working in the magical community.
*I use 'he' as a placeholder - I haven't decide on the gender I really want for my character, which is a downside for being able to play both sexes equally...

Normally I reserve the first CS post for link listing to the respective characters as we add on to the cast - this is so that I give my partners the freedom to go back and update their CS after an event has happened in IC.
The half-dragon form looks good - I'm totally fine with sticking to that and no need for all those full dragon stuffs. You might want to also cut down the number of powers she possesses - I don't mind her being an artificial hybrid-demigod of more than one god/goddess but I would like you to still put a cap to make sure she's not too powerful for a demigod. You can remove them all first and add on to the list after some development in the IC, just have 1 to 2 that she can use on a more frequent basis while the other abilities are only applicable if she performs some sort of ritual or whatever to "borrow" a bit of power from the individual gods for a limited duration. What do you think?

And those that deals with cultural differences or even propanganda? Just look at what they did with anime like Pokemon.

Standing at 161 cm (roughly 5'3"), Rin has a willowy build that radiates with confidence and authority, defying the traditional notion of a Yamato nadeshiko. Often people are curious how she maintains her silky-black long locks to perfection without so much of a single stray strand sticking out oddly. Her wardrobe consists mostly one-piece dresses and designer shoes, but she does have a few comfort wears reserved for "off" days.

I find the 'strongly opposed' opinions very odd. Do yall think that absolutely no character or plot development can ever happen without clothes?
Not that I 'strongly opposed' the idea of having sexy moments thrown into the game, but on the instances I allowed this most of my partners took my leniency for guaranteed. If my partner can really convince me that s/he is capable of writing decent sex scene without compromising plot and character, by all means. Otherwise I have to say no.
Also, like Gowi has said, there's a very clear line between smut and sensual interaction. Just sayin'.
