I roleplay to help me develop un-Sueish characters, not to throw them into a mindless sexual bliss. I do not imagine my characters doing any sort of those stuffs with other people's characters, and I ask that you keep your sick fantasies to yourself.

Personally I find smut nothing but pure fanservice that serves little to no purpose with moving the plot forward and character growth. There are many ways to portray a possible romantic development between characters without going into excessive skinship.

Same here, so it's a surprise that there's someone out there who actually noticed me. Since I mostly do 1x1 and avoid the large group ones like a plague because speed-posters scare me away I think that's why I'm not well-known enough yet?

@Mr Allen J - You have an intriguing (not to mention, pretty original) take on the superpower genre, a gem among all those DC/Marvel ones I keep seeing here.

I think the whole censorship thingy is just one of the weirdest human laws ever created - because honestly speaking most of the time the reasons why they censor certain stuffs make absolutely no logical sense. I get it if it's about age rating to some extent, but those changes due to cultural differences...

I see - I'm more of a quality than quantity person, so I'm not that particular about post length/number of paragraphs as long as I'm given enough info to help me work on my next IC, and my partner takes the initiative to make sure his/her post is easily understood without too many glaring mistakes.

Which is why I absolutely refuse to use my frigging mobile to type out an entire IC.

Harry Potter RP

Different houses means I have more choices as to which of my Harry Potter OCs (or rather, the OCs from my James Sirius Potter fanfic) to use for this RP. (I feel like mixing a bit of Asian magic into this but I'll let the GM to have the say on this matter.)

I'm glad we're starting the RP from Year One - I feel awkward to do a timeskip without even developing our characters properly first.

Well, as much as the whole time traveling thing seems too convenient for Rune, the wind part is still very much overshadowed in your IC. I think there's no need to rush into showing your whole deck to me at this stage since we aren't even done with the guys yet (Ryan and Kenji).

Two questions for the group so far.
• Everyone in the same house, or, a group of four, each from a different house?
• All seven years, or would you prefer to skip to year two after a sorting hat ceremony? Keep in mind, the starting age is 11-12.

To respond in order:

1. I'm fine either ways, though if everyone is going to be in the same house it would be fun to explore the other 3 since Gryffindor had already been done extensively in canon.

2. I'd say all 7 years - since this is an Advanced RP and I'm all for doing some deep character development for this.

I do request the players refrain from using colours in their dialogue though, if possible. It hurts my soul to read multicoloured texts. :(

I'm fine with or without using colors for dialogues - my more pressing concern is that people use proper paragraphing (aka the enter button on your keyboard). Don't bunch things together into a wall of text dump just to try making your posts look beefy but hard for others to understand. Also, refrain from using over-fanciful formatting. Keep in simple and consistent with everyone. :)

This is inspired by some thread I came across while lurking in the Humor/Satire Section in the NaNoWriMo forums.

Here's how it works:
1. Choose any well-known movie - either individual titles or as a collective series
2. Write a summary - just a short one of 1 to 2 sentences will suffice
3. The catch? The synopsis has to be in such way that it makes the movie sound (utterly) worthless

TL;DR:
= Refrain from using profanities as much as possible. You don't need to resort to lame curses to be humorous.
= Seriously, no essay rants. No one is going to bother reading that and it's not even remotely funny
= To anyone who may be fans of the movies mentioned in this thread, this is purely for entertainment and no bashing is intended. Don't like what you see here? Then don't even come in here in the first place.
= Recurrence of titles that have already been done is allowed, but please don't plagiarize other people's summaries.
