Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@ghastlyInc: you still have the mention of him being durable as some Princes on there. ^^; Otherwise improved greatly!
@AtomicNut: Adorableness is the main factor in success in battle, of course.
Also once more people post I'll be posting again, I do need more posts though. ^^;

Edit: Though if everyone in one group has posted, I can post for them at least.
@chukklehed: I was wondering what had happened. I'm glad to know things are looking up, at least.

@Zetsuko: Okay, um... remember, no-one outside of the Iron Roses as of now knows Tyaethe is actually undead, and sapient undead are not considered an abomination like mindless undead. Though there is prejudice to some extent that varies by region in this case no so much.

@Araby264: I'd like to make it clear that this setting is much more egalitarian then real medieval Europe, as demonstrated by all the female knights and famed female warrior Saints and stuff. So... really there'd not be much reason she'd be mocked or anything like that.
@easy modo: Welp, that's pretty fantastic.
Hmm, waiting's up to you, since I imagine anyone who wants to accompany them will just follow.
@harinezumikouken: Yes to all of that. Feel free to control the guards a little though, but leave the six conspirators to me.
@13org: Um, I thought I'd responded to you? A German character is fine.
Posted, didn't advance anything too much, opened it up for people to split up though.

Also hey, shields. I wonder what heavy blunt weapon would be good here... <.< >.>
The second guard was hardly prepared for the remarkably aggressive assault of a little girl with a very large sword. He fell, cut in half, as Tyaethe sprinted past her. Ahead was another burial chamber, coffins laid to rest in the walls, as guards took cover to avoid Marianne's fire. Others were unfortunate enough to be caught up in the coming assault, falling dead, cut apart or stabbed. It was difficult to be prepared for the Iron Rose Knights, after all.

Fanilly found herself under assault rather swiftly, one of the guards breaking through and bearing down with his axe. She stepped back, deflecting it with her sword, and was forced to step to the side to avoid another blow. But on his followup, she caught his weapon in her parrying dagger and forced it to the side, driving her sword deep into his chest, piercing his heart and letting him fall to the ground, dead. The remaining guards who had not been caught up in Tiral's icy immobilization or the initial attack were swiftly setting up defenses, raising shields and arraying themselves throughout the room.

Their were stairs leading even deeper. The Cal family mausoleum housed generations, after all.

When Marianne proposed her plan, Fanilly nodded.

"We'll split up, then!" she said, "Dame Marianne, take Vosahnn with you!"

The Nem girl was grabbing something from one of the dead guards, but it was difficult to see what, before she hurried to catch up to the others.
