Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I'm sorry, but I was interested in pairing with those characters.

I can post for all of one of my characters currently, which I may very well do, but if it comes to actually continuing without those characters it leads to me losing two out of three of my characters, one of which is the main reason I was so excited for joining this RP.

I'm not claiming the wait isn't frustrating but I think the alternative is pretty bad and I've been trying to resolve it as much as I can.
@Masterkeun: That's not what's going on at all and that's a rude accusation.

The proposed outcome was a draw, and it's a three on one fight. That more then shows consideration for Vader's strength while also making it clear that it's difficult to win a three on one fight when the opposition knows about you, even if they haven't fought as a team before.

The only person who hasn't commented on this outcome is @thewizardguy. Everyone else involved thinks it's a fair outcome and we're just working out how to get there.
Those who ran about to investigate the people who had been trapped inside the Negari would be very happy to know that, aside from some being disoriented and a little scraped up, they were otherwise completely fine. Though... just what had the bizarre creature been doing with all these people, holding them inside of itself like that? It was rather worrying to think about... Akane checked those closest to her, placing her sword at her side and using her off hand to shake a few awake and check them for injuries. But inside she could barely contain herself. The new magical girl had just helped destroy a Negari, and save all these people! Akane's heart was hammering in her chest. And all these people were safe, too, she'd help make sure they were safe.

So enamored with this fact, and so focused on helping the nearby civilians to their feet, was Akane that she didn't realize what was happening behind her. The black smoke had stopped rising from the Negari... and it was hissing, sprouting stubby legs to rise up and crawl away, tentacles sprouting from its ruined body and twisting into drills...

Akane turned just in time to see one of the whirring drill tendrils launching directly towards her!

And in that same instant, a figure dropped from above. The brunette girl was clad in a strange green and gold outfit, with white rabbit ears protruding from her hat. A magical girl fan like Akane recognized her quite quickly, as Teacup Saori. Why she was called teacup was anyone's guess, but the strange loop-like tool she carried quickly enlarged!

"Up you go!" Saori declared, grinning as the loop passed over the Negari. It vanished entirely, only to reappear hundreds of feet into the air... and be struck with a blinding shower of brilliant white bolts of magical energy, hundreds of blasts converging on it in seconds.

Akane couldn't help but stare in shock.

"Whew, good thing we showed up when we did!" commented Saori, turning to face the other magical girls. "You girls screwed up big time, not making sure it was dead! Haah, but what can we expect from low-rankers, huh?"

She grinned and folded her arms, cocking her head to one side. Far from what feeling she had expected upon seeing yet another famed magical girl, Akane felt indignation. They'd cut it open, and let everyone out! There was no way to tell it was still alive!

"But... but we freed all these people! And we stopped it, it-"

Saori was quick to interrupt her.

"And? You didn't kill it, it would've probably taken at least one of you out and started sucking people up again. Face it, you low-rankers screwed up. Right, Shiroyuri-chan?"

Wait, Shiroyuri...?

The small figure that drifted from above was unmistakable.. Pale blue hair, her eyes the same color. Near paper white, delicate skin, and a white outfit to go with it. Golden lights and a halo...

"Analysis indicates our intervention was a necessity," the magical girl with the highest recorded Negari killcount in the city said in a flat, monotone voice.

"See? You should have just let us handle it, instead of embarrassing yourselves," Saori continued with a shrug, one eyebrow raised. "Jeez, handle the small fry first... especially a new girl like you."

She jerked a thumb towards Akane.

"B-but... we... had to help those people!" the redheaded dragongirl protested.

"Pffft, yeah, sure, like they wouldn't have gotten sucked back in or worse," Saori interjected, brushing off Akane's attempt at a counterpoint. "As for the rest of you, that sure was a sorry performance. Could none of you finish that thing off?"

She glanced up at Shiroyuri. The smaller girl simply remained silent.
I think I can go ahead and post soon!
@ACHTUNG: I am pretty sure there's no actual qualms with whatever the magical girls do... also they're kind of unassailable by law enforcement anyway.

It's not even relevant, really. ^^; Though any decent magical girl won't steal food, it's wrong.

She had been released... as well as pushed backwards at the same time. But D.Va knew how this kind of thing worked! If enough force was used, she could push back! Triggering her thrusters, and taking advantage of the fact that the push wasn't a consistent force, D.Va jetted back into the fog, her boosters roaring before her MEKA's feet hit the cobblestones, casting up a shower of sparks on impact. Fog, huh...? Even if she couldn't see Vader too well, she was pretty sure Reinhardt was nearly bulletproof just in case she accidentally grazed him and that Vader couldn't deflect anything that was actually a physical projectile with his lightsaber.

And so the next course of action was simply to open fire into the fog, trying to swivel and cover a wide area with her fusion cannons as she did.

I mean I can post for Faust it's just that I'd also like to be able to post for Saber and my Master character too.

I know this wait must be frustrating but trying to backseat GM isn't helping it. I'm doing my best to handle it, as is @PKMNB0Y.
@Lmpkio: How do you want this fight to carry out exactly? ^^;
Konpaku Youmu

Thankfully, the red demon man finally left. An enemy was an enemy, and while plenty of enemies had been forgiven before it was rather hard when they were honestly trying to kill you and the only other people you had talked to since arriving in this strange new place. Speaking of those people, however, they rather quickly left. To be honest with herself, Youmu was beginning to doubt if they would be able to help her return home. And, given she had done her job and protected the man with the saw weapon(even if he had been quick to toss himself into danger once more, much to Youmu's frustration), now it was time to focus on her true purpose. Which was, and would be until she achieved it, returning to Yuyuko-sama's side.

The exact method of going about this, however, was a more difficult matter to discern. The small, silver-haired girl found herself walking through the streets and looking around. There were... people, lots of people, doing various different things. However, none of them seemed as if they were particularly helpful towards Youmu's cause.

But regardless, she had to press on. Youmu would not give up and she would not stop, she absolutely had to find away to return to Yuyuko-sama as soon as she could.

And yet, ahead... there was some blonde man, some dark-armored individual, and... wait, was that... Reisen?

"Reisen-san?" she asked, approaching. It was nice to see someone she recognized at least...

Konpaku Youmu

To be perfectly honest, Youmu was finding her patience wearing thin. The demon man had said he was leaving. And so, she didn't have to keep trying to kill him. But the man she had intervened in order to protect had charged at him once again, now leaving himself caught in some sort of psychic field once more. Youmu's patience had really very nearly snapped. If she had to kill him, she would. But if he would simply leave that would allow them to escape any further bloodshed. And yet... it seemed things were continually causing him to stick around. The small half-phantom held her katana at the ready, both blades gleaming as she somewhat irritably watched him reattach his arm. It wasn't as if she was unused to people who could heal, however.

"Unless I'm mistaken, you were leaving," she commented, narrowing her blue eyes to reflect her feelings, "Could you perhaps continue, after putting him down? Unless you want to resume fighting."

A member of the Konpaku family would not flee from battle. However, she'd rather this battle was finished already.
