Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

"Paaaaah, great!"

Perhaps drinking an entire bottle of water in one gulp wasn't something most people would describe as 'great', but when she'd been fighting Warped that intensely for that long, it sure felt refreshing.

The first thing that Hoshiko had done on returning to the Horizon was deactivate Hinotori. The next was to immediately take a nice, long, hot shower. She was all sweaty and dirty and a total mess, so she needed it really bad! The water felt so relaxing after all the intense combat, too. She'd lost count of how many oni she'd punched holes clear through.

But she was glad.

She was glad she'd been able to help people. That's what was really important. That's why she was here.

Now dressed in shorts and a loose orange hoodie, Hoshiko stretched as she entered the mess haul, immediately making a beeline for the nearest snacks.

She was pretty hungry.
@LuckyBlackCat: Looks good! Like I said further up, since I'm not 100% sure on how I'm handling the interest I've got(though I'm starting to lean towards more than one character group) I'm going to hold off on formal acceptance for now.

@Shiyonichi: I'm still a little concerned on how much she can do, so let me think on this one a bit more.
Hey sorry about the delay, I'll try and get something up tomorrow. ^^;
@The Irish Tree: Looks good, but for the moment since I'm not decided on how I'm going to handle the amount of interest I've got I'm going to hold off on formal acceptance until some other people working on bios have gotten theirs posted.

I'm leaning towards trying to figure out how to balance a larger cast at the moment but I'm not totally sure.
@Shiyonichi: Possibly. I can't make any guarantees, but at this point I'd encourage people to at least try signing up.

I'm considering my options in regards to the high amount of interest I'm getting.
@AzureKnight: Accepted.
@DDVicky: Basically, the Concept has to relate in some way to the Archetype, yes.
@DDVicky: The Archetype is a specific thing, the main ability your entire powerset is more or less built around. For example, if your concept was "Knight" you would have a lot of abilities based around knights, and if your Archetype is "King Arthur" you'd probably have Excalibur.
"..."

Certainly, she was a Queen, and the one that Fio had sworn to serve. Even if her reasons were largely for curiosity's sake, to understand what was going on and confirm if her claims were truthful, she had sworn such an oath. And Fio at least had respect for the manner in which the taller girl carried and conducted herself.

None of this could be denied.

Perhaps, then, that was why she took those words quite so poorly. Why the Sword Witch found herself raising her hand and snapping her fingers, her cheeks flushing red with embarrassment at the mere insinuation. The circle that opened in the air, producing her sword catalyst directly above the Queen's head, aimed it carefully with the hilt pointed downwards, the pommel angled perfectly.

It fell slowly. Fio didn't want to cause real harm, after all.

But there wouldn't be any ignoring the impact.

"Y-you're a Queen, aren't you?!" exclaimed the Sword Witch, "Th-think about what you say sometimes! Hmph!"

The sword dematerialized moments later, Fio folding her arms firmly as she turned away in a huff.
