INERTIA A.K.A. Tia Clark
Tia tipped her neck back and saw Grant and smiled. She patted the ground next to her. "Come down here." He got down on the ground and lay next to her. He was close enough to smell the fruity scent of her shampoo. She looked at the stars and he glanced at them but mostly he looked at her.
"Yeah, there were a lot of injuries, a lot of deaths and you don't want to know what they are estimating the monetary damages at. We need to make this team work as a team. I'll have them start training for that tomorrow. I think everyone just needed a day off to recoop and heal a bit."
She got really quiet for a minute. "I've taken hits, HARD hits before but I've never been what you would call seriously injured before... Tonight I almost died because of a freak accident that exposed a flaw in my powers." She laughed a little bit.
"Luckily for me we have the best R&D in the world. They strengthened the bones in my neck with a flexible metal alloy or something that will keep my neck from breaking from getting whipped around like I did tonight. They said that in the field because that thing kept stomping on me my regeneration couldn't heal me fast enough. At some point the damage was so severe it could only keep my vitals going."
"Do you know what the worst part of it was?" He shook his head. "I could hear everything going on around me for a few minutes before I lost consciousness and I could feel that thing stomping on me and I couldn't phase. I have never felt so helpless in my life."
She turned to him and said, "I know it was you who saved me. I heard you and I sensed your touch when you picked me up. Thank you." Tia said and she leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips. "Is that ok? I'm not usually so forward but I..." Grant reached for her and started kissing her back.

Mia looked up and he could see the tears in her eyes. "No, I hurt my ankle when I stepped into a hole I didn't see. Aki helped me get to here and told me to wait for you to come help me. If you don't want to help me I guess I can wait for him or the counselors." She wiped the tears from her eyes.

Nikki was cold, no she was freezing. She got up teeth chattering and realized that it was only 78 degrees in the room."Shit..." She got up and went out of the room wrapped in her blankie. She headed to the voices.
"Where did we put the meds?" She yelled. No one answered back so she kept walking towards them. Frustration and not feeling well made her easily annoyed. "Heyyyyyyyy who is here? I think I'have a fever. I need antibiotics."
She mumbled that last part and kept looking for Alex. She knew he would have been the one to put the stuff away while Nic was sewing her up.
"Please let there be antibiotics. It would be embarrassing to die from a glass infection during a zombie apocalypse." In her feverish state this made her laugh which turned to tears as it made her move her side too much. She leaned against the wall. "Alex? Where the hell are you?"

Wicked looked at Omega and grinned with a flirty smile. "I'll agree the first time you got off of both of your feet. You think you can take me huh?" she laughed. "We'll see" She said teasingly. They went back and forth throwing punches and and kicks blocking just as many. Wicked had a feeling that he didn't ask her just to have her teach him.
"So why did you really want to spar wth me?" She asked, not out of breath even a little bit. "See I think you are up to something. Question is will I like it or not?" Her quirky smile was aimed at getting a reaction out of him. She blocked a kick from him and kicked him with a hard twisting sidekick designed to knock him on his ass, which it did. Laughing, Wicked lay on the ground next to him as he caught his breath. She leaned over to look at him propping herself up on one arm. "So what did you really want?" Her eyes sparkled mischeviously.

IMPORTANT LAYOUT INFORMATION
As I'm sure you saw already the indoor pool and hot tub are just through there. We also have an outdoor pool for during the summer months out back. The 6th floor is Research and Deveolpment. The fifth is testing, 4th is for "the store', now I don't know why they call it the store they don't make us pay for anything from it. The third floor is for the employee residences for R&D and the 2nd is a conference room and a gym, locker rooms and a massage room. We are fully stocked on whatever we need here. There is a garage, mechanics included. Fair warning "Do NOT ever touch Kain's car. The last person who did I had to rescue from a metal knot up the flagpole. Umm let me see, the HQ medical is out there right next door to this building. It is fully equipped with 3 ambulances as well as its own live in staff of nurses, doctors and paramedics."
