Current Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

The Spider and the Nephilim, part 2

As Souta dealt with his opponents, Wrath focused on his, looking specifically for the spider he'd avoided earlier. His reward was the sound of a spider teleporting to his left, forcing him to sidestep away as he turns, slicing. The blade nicks the spider's leg as it leaps back and takes off about a third of it. Chittering in anger, it teleports away again, only this time with in Wrath's line of sight. Whole lot of good that does me, teleporting prick.

As if on cue the spider disappears again and Wrath brings up his blade, only for Souta to suddenly shout something from behind him. Turning and seeing him bail from the vines, Wrath wastes no time doing like wise, finding a relatively easy to climb vine across from him and latching on to it as the ball of spiders obliterates the platform the pair had just been on. However, Wrath once more found himself at the mercy of the spider as it appeared again to try and strike. "Some how, I'm going to smash you flat!" He swings Rage Bringer haphazardly, making the spider retreat once more.

Using the breather, the Nephilim starts climbing and manages to find another platform a few feet above where he started. Pulling himself up, he watches for the insistent spider, who now stuck out with part of it's front right leg missing. As he turns, he spots Souta and smiles, realizing what the boy was up to. As he went to congratulate him, however, one of the spiders came into sight for Wrath and his shout of good job changed to a warning. "Lad, behind ya!" Whether or not the human heard him he didn't get a chance to learn, as his eight legged opponent reappeared and struck at Wrath with it's good leg, which he sides steps.
Oh, and also probably another Magnus post, I'll have that by the end of the weekend.

Do you need the cattle prod again?
@LuckyBlackCat

Tommy chuckled at the pair as the Swablu pretended to be totally innocent of swiping Cici's sandwich. Checking his watch, he gets her attention. "Hey, I gotta head in and start warming up and getting the band their sheet music. When you come in tell 'em you're here with me and you'll get a nice discount on food." After getting her response, he turns and heads down the stairs under the sign, opening the door and slipping in. He was created by the familiar sound of the band already doing their nightly entertainment with a couple of smooth jazz songs and he could hear the conversation.

It was a place that Tommy was going to miss a lot when he left, but he'd be back soon enough, if he was lucky. Heading over to the counter, he lets the owner know he's there before heading into the back warm up room. Amica, in the mean time, is listening to the sound of the music with interest and once Tommy closes the door to the warm up room, hops down off his shoulder to wait for her trainer to be done for the night. After a couple of scales and his personal favorite warm up solo, he slips out and puts Amica in a booth that was also saved for Cici and Forte. "Get her attention when she walks in, makes sure she gets this seat, alright?" Amica smiles and salutes.

"Froakie!" Tommy smiles and rubs his Froakie's head lovingly. He was beginning to wonder why he'd waited to start on his journey if he could have a partner like Amica. Getting back on the stage, he handed the band their sheet music before starting them off on one of the songs.
@Zarkun How would Jane react to Isabella asking her to be apart of the squad? Because I feel like that's the next step Bella would take. I just haven't done it already because I'm not sure what you're plans are for Jane.

Her knee jerk reaction would be to ask to let her think on it. She's been travelling alone for a long time, so settling into a small group wouldn't be something she'd want to do right away. Ultimately, she's likely say yes though.

Same here, that and her punishment that Damian was suppose to give her lol.

We can get that posted here soon me thinks @Lmpkio. Depending on how soon @Lugubrious is wrapping up his Belka arc.
What happens in the alleyway, stays in the alleyway. Forget I asked XD
I will be back eventually... Sorry for the delay guys. The ¥100,000 laptop I bought in Tokyo is a dud. I should be able to return... soonish. I hope.
Related; life without a PC sucks serious cock.

That sounds like a rather serious accusation. You have experience with that sucking? XD
Yo, @Balthazar007, I have a suggestion that I think is worth considering. In the OP, there's this:

<Snipped quote>

Personally, I think it would make a lot more sense if non-legendary, non-mythical Pokemon that didn't evolve were put into the tier-two slot of Pokemon, the kind that you can catch with a Great Ball. On the whole, Pokemon of this category aren't super great. There are some competitive stars out there like Skarmory, Kangaskan, Heracross, Klefki, but for each one of those, there's a Farfetch'd, Zangoose, Dunsparce, Stunfisk, and Sudowoodo. They're better than the vast majority of tier-1s and on the whole worse than tier-3s. Having to wait until I've caught fifty Pokemon and fully evolved ten of them to have the ability to catch trash Pokemon like Farfetch'd, Corsola, Delibird, Basculin, Plusle/Minun, Luvdisc, Spina, Torkoal, and Stantler seems a bit odd.

Anyone else feel the same way? To be completely transparent, a main reason why I'm asking is that a gimmick pertaining towards Audino makes me feel as if it would be a great partner for enhancing Olivie's character.

I can certainly see where you're coming from, and it's most definitely a valid point. Though for the system that's being used, it arguably works quite well. Though...I'll be honest, I don't see many people ever getting to have fully evolved Pokemon without NPC battles and I only say that because PCs can go...pretty much any direction they want from Central City. Trainer Points will be fairly scarce.
@LuckyBlackCat

Tommy laughed at the notion, imagining the little Whismur trying to sing with one of Tommy's jazz solos as the band played in the background. It was probably the only place with a set predetermined band that he played with, but he didn't mind. The extra sound had helped teach Tommy how to blend his own in with the others, even if he was the star, so to speak. "I think that would make for an interesting night for everyone." Finishing his sandwich, he called Amica over and asked if she was done with hers. She nodded and Tommy signaled a nearby shop attendant for a take home container. "Well, if you're up for it, follow me. The place is big on jazz though, fair warning. It's actually surprising as many teens hang out at it as there are."

Once he had packed away Amica's sandwich and called the Froakie over, and it should be noted she promptly took up position on his head, he lead the way up the street, already running through the solos he'd play tonight and a couple of full band sets that always got the crowd's attention. After a short walk, they reached a building with a neon sign that read The Jazzy Chatot. "I'll admit, the name's a bit cheesy, but the food's good and they pay good, so I can't complain."
