Pah, another Child God who wastes his potential!

Your character will be thoroughly disliked by mine.
Don't take offense to that, however: I like your cat-eared-bastard. It's just that Vulamera won't, although she won't show it, as she will hope to foster him to be like her before he becomes a true God.

@poog the pig Methinks a certain demigod needs to be taught his place in the Natural Order before he rules anything. That, or many more discipline lessons.

Sure thing dude, maybe Lifprasil can teach Logos his idea of balance along the way. Mutually assured nagging.

Liking what I see; you have a unique idea and a good sheet. I do recommend a change of domain, though. Doorways is essentially the same thing as Portals, and what other portfolios would you be able to eventually add to such a narrow domain anyways? Consider something like Magic or Space as domain, because those concepts seem to be suitable for Portals while being far less restrictive.

I can see said demigod taking after Zephyrion to become a narcissistic absolutist, but I can just as easily see him being broken and learning humility. Either development would be interesting. Some food for thought when we go through their interactions in the collab, poog

I plan on adding Zeph and Logos to his development, so no need to worry.

Speaking of our weird little rape-child, Vulamera will not hold back if he starts to become too dangerous. She'll grimly oppose her own child to teach him humility. If he descends from that windy palace all assholery and Zephyrion, then she'll probably order her shapeshifting, ultimate-assassin species to start tearing down everything he does to build that empire by replacing his leaders/politicians/preachers with clones, and she'll retract her promise to give him her portion of the Insidie.

If he just legit cares about the sentients, however, she'll actually help him a lot :D

We can conclude from this analysis that as Vulamera's love decreases, Zephyrion's approval goes up exponentially and the chance of you being an asshole is proportional.

Well, Vulamera's love will never "decrease". Just her approval. She may be dissappointed in him, but she'll always love him as a literal part of herself that was corrupted. It's a very sad thing to her, really.

Easy, Lif will organize an empire

We're working with foresight in mind.

Organise an Empire is fair enough, but in the stone age? With your own stone spears, huts, pool and hookers? Without any food source bar what you can hunt? I think anything resembling an Empire will have to wait a while xP
Don't mean to rain on your parade or anything, but we're a ways off, and I haven't permitted development beyond the Stone Age on Galbar yet. If you want to get to the early bronze age, go to Arcon.

Of course, but not Empires.
We already have tribes and settlements on Galbar, but nothing much beyond that.

When I say foresight, I mean beyond the stone age.

Lifprasil is going to wait up in the Celestial Citadel, and eventually, Arcon for society to be advanced enough to sustain an Empire. And, @Hael, that's the idea. Him caring about sentients.

I perfectly understand the need to change the domain, and I feel like Space would be suitable for portals especially. I just didn't want to give him an excessively powerful sounding domain.

@Antarctic Termite

I took the liberty of assuming that Maize continued to follow Slough and party. Do you intend to respond to this part of my recent post, or can I just assume that Maize went with Ventus and that Jvan didn't see fit to talk after they landed by the river mouth?

If you want to respond then no rush; I'm just wondering whether Ventus can go home yet or if there's still a need for him to stay down on Galbar.

...At the last moment the storm swerved towards the fibreling, though unless Maize jumped headlong into the grasp of those turbulent winds, she would not be enveloped quite enough for Ventus to sweep her into the air whilst he moved at such a pace. She would be left to fend for herself against the horrors of that jungle if she did not Maize chose to put faith in the djinni lord...

True to his promise, Ventus had done as Jvan asked so soon as time allowed him. Perhaps she would see fit reward him still or perhaps she would not, but in the end it mattered not. Ventus would work with whatever tools he had to see to grand completion the tasks set before him: the glory and delight in eventual success was reward enough in its own right. Such was his nature...

Just saw your edit. I have no idea what your point is ^^'
We have yet to develop stone age civilisation at all, or fully explore stone age tech. Cities existed in the stone age, that's fair enough, our hain have yet to discover fire and live in huts. Humans have yet to domesticate any animal. How are they going to build cities?
Perhaps the hain, with their domestication of the golems, could build stone homes, but nothing much beyond that.

And as stone age civilisation and tech develops and we get, at the most, city states, they still won't be Empires.

x'D I wasn't attempting to be funny, though. At least, not much more than my normal calling Zephy an asshole.

Regardless, she doesn't care about Vestec's corruption. That's a natural part of Lifprasil now. But Zephyrion is not, and she hates him, so she'll stop him if she can.

Besides, in Vulamera's mind, Vestec is literally not half as bad as Zephyrion. She kinda likes Vestec, so his corruption doesn't bother her. Zephyrion's does.

Not really. Several species already have huts and crude weapons. It really depends on how much the gods help on how fast we'll see the first of civilizations. But don't be surprised if it happens in less than 3 turns.
