In Depth Appearance:
Marcella stands around 66 inches tall and has a slender figure, not too different from most members of the Hades family. People tend to also point out that she is short, just like Napoleon. She sighs a lot. She is typically seen having loose curls in her long black hair and her narrow eyes tend to give her a cold case of RBF (Resting Bitch Face). She has rather toned calves from hitchhiking for so long (nearly 2 years), and all things considered she’s in a good physical shape, but she’d never overpower an Ares kid. She is typically seen with a group of people, she doesn’t dig the whole solitude thing after spending so much time in foreign countries.

Clothing Style:
Marcella wears designer everything. Having the infinite money glitch in life makes it rather easy to accomplish buying only designer clothes. She sometimes wears a scarf, however she realizes that in a scuffle that may not be the best of ideas. Thusly she can typically be found in either a summer dress, or rather form fitting clothes. The most distinctive thing about Marcella’s attire is that she wears an absurd amount of jewelry. This is so that she can use it in combat should she need a projectile and not have time to dig one out of the ground. Typically speaking this is a defensive clothing choicem it will usually be her rings first, then earrings and finally her necklace. She also keeps a few pendants and other types of jewelry on her person in case of emergencies.

Personality:

Marcella tends to not give a shit about being afraid of things. She's the first to volunteer in a group - especially for something that could be deadly. In this way she is somewhat of a deathseeker. However, the key difference is that she is not seeking death, instead she simply does not care if that is the destination. As such she is completely willing to take rash risks for high reward. Typically, she has a fairly competitive side, however she does not participate unless their is some form of profit to make out of it. Because she does have the infinite money glitch in life she does not care as much for monetary reward, instead she sees profit as different experiences in which she can partake in.

Marcella tends to get along well with just about anyone who can keep up with her attitude. For this reason she has typically been known to jive well with Ares children and Athena children. This is because the god and goddess of war and battle strategy tend to pass on a similarly nihilistic view of life that tends to be indiscriminately opaque. You live, and then you die. So you might as well live. This is primarily where her joy for life comes from, as is the reason she went on a world tour.

Marcella almost always expresses disinterest in the need for funerals and the general tradition around death, having become incredibly well versed in what happens to someone once their physical body dies. Because of this she tends to avoid the events of try to stay silent, because she typically does little else but upset those attending when she speaks at them. That being said, she isn't without tact - she can always put on a pretty pouty face and play with jewelry as if she were anxious when need be.

Background:
All things considered, Marcella may be one of the healthiest demigods around as far as parental relationships go. She grew up going to the underworld as a child and Hades and her mother actually stay in touch, they're kind of pen pals. When she was seven years old it was explained to her what and who she was, her importance to this world. Her father attempted to teach her the ways of the underworld, but because of her being partially raised in the environment all efforts to scare her or jostle the small girl proved largely ineffective.

Her father was her teacher throughout most of her life and he was able to teach her a great deal of things. Even how to instill the fear of death that she did not understand into others. This came along eventually with his most precious ability, literally not figuratively. Hades taught her Ferrokinesis and the ability to pull gems from the ground. He also taught her that with great power, came great responsibility. So reasonably speaking, she considered the fact that she immediately sold millions of dollars’ worth of gems in order to afford brand new designer clothing quite responsible. She was helping the recession, or so she would tell herself as she tried on her new dresses.

She later learned how to make it seem much more natural, she would go diving for buried treasure and strike big every time. At one point, TLC wanted to create a show about her natural talent for hitting it big in the ocean, but she rather rudely declined. Telling them that they weren’t worth her time. They’d get over it eventually.

Marcella decided that money was fine, but it was boring. So she decided to strike it big one last time and go to travel the world. She packed her bags and by the time she was sixteen and could legally qualify for a passport she was off in the world. She started in the Americas, made her way to Europe and by the time she had turned 19 she decided she would end her journey partway through Asia, to leave herself the corners of the world for her next travel. She had decided to attend Olympus Academy, and Hades, the ever-proud father that he was politely told her that it was a shitty idea.

She said fuck it and decided to show up for orientation anyway.

Relationship With Godly Parent:
Hades and Marcella have always had a rather healthy relationship. Typically, she spent weekends in the Underworld when they were free and she would often communicate with her father, whether through carrier pigeon or by Marcella giving the damned a message before allowing their soul onwards to Hades. He even let her judge fifty souls on bring your child to work day when Marcella was 14. That was a good day. For her, not for the souls – unfortunately eternal damnation has a much more interesting process than redemption.

Godly Abilities:
‘Hey u good?’ (Necromancy): As a daughter of Hades, Marcella has divine authority (partially) over death and it’s domain as a state of being. This means many things, primarily she can contact the dead and speak with them, and she’d make a great detective. Another tool however is sensing death, put Marcella in a crowd and she can tell you who is near their death whether it is by the fates will or cancer’s. However, one feature of her necromancy that sets her apart from most children of Hades is her lack of fear towards death, in fact the pure apathy she feels towards it. Because of her lack of emotion she cannot harness the energy to summon the undead like many children of Hades, though she still can communicate with them. Instead, she is able to instill a distinct fear of death in others, similar to what Hades can do. She does this by radiating death and terror to the degree of causing a palpitation of the heart and literally causing people to lose their minds. Those strong of heart and character can of course resist this.

A Girl’s Best Friend: A form of Ferrokinesis, though many forget that Hades is the god of wealth, Marcella can sense and summon any quantity of precious metals and jewels from under the ground as well as manipulate them. This is how Marcella survived when she decided to hitchhike around the world. This is also the reason for the abnormal amount of jewelry Marcella wears, in order to use it potentially as a weapon if necessary. She can shoot a precious gem as if it were a bullet, the general weakness of this ability though is that she must maintain eye contact on the gem she is manipulating. The only exception is when she is pulling gems from the earth, in which case she must keep two hands firmly planted on the soil and close her eyes – severely limiting the usefulness in the heat of battle.
