As is a few things needs to be made clear in my opinion I do find some of the abilities interesting but as of now a bit to much for the moment. With that said dxd lore states that divine beings can not be turned into a piece also on the topic goddess in human skin is different from being born of a goddess and a human which would be a demigod. Beyond that I like the char I really do but I feel like some parts needs to be fixed a bit more though it is up to Demon in the long run.

Side note I love your icon Haru is great one of my favorite chars in persona 5.

Ahh yes, I knew something would crop up ^-^ There's a problem with DxD lore if Divine Beings can't be made into evil pieces, though:

Rossweisse! :D Now I'm not an expert on both DxD lore nor real life Norse mythology, but a quick google search found that Rossweisse, a full-blooded Valkyrie, became a rook. Valkyries, according to another quick google search, are actually goddesses themselves, so surely a demi-god would fit under acceptable if that were the case :3 And yes, for some reason I couldn't think of the word demi-god, so that one's on me XD

After a more detailed read. Somethings are a problem

Demons are devils, they are the same race, therefore what does banishment entitle? Forced teleportation away?

Thirdly, it mostly just comes down to clarifying things most of this can be sorted with a bit more detail on the ins and outs of some things.

Banishment = Death, quite simply ^-^ If I were to use an example, think Asia's holy water and it's effects on devils. For the low-level devils, it would take a lot less light than, say, an archdemon (who could probably think of it as a mere irritation). So banishment would be an exorcist term used to describe the incineration of a devil from over-exposure to holy light c:

As for demons being devils, I tend to use both rather loosely, so yeah, that's just me not being technical enough :3

That can easily be done: once the portal is open, it stays that way until everyone inside it leaves ;)

Aww Christ XD I don't know if you can tell, but I begun writing this as a Bishop, with her original power going to be dance c: When I saw that was taken I thought of a knight with a holy sword, since that wasn't taken, but when I found out it was reserved i cant read ;-; I was like "then I'll try for a magic rook!"

As you can see, it's not the easiest to churn out :D I'll be sure to make any necessary changes :3

...Kohana might just challenge Ekibe to a dancing contest. The fox can give her a run for money as far as dancing goes. That Glaive of hers can be used in a number of creative ways during dancing, heh~

Ekibe won't need a pole to show what she's capable of ;) Also just a warning for Kohana: Ekibe is persistent when it comes to wanting to pet her XD

Now, I have some thoughts that need to be handled before I go on with the judgement of @Delta44's character.
I quite enjoy our roster so far, however, as it stands there are two character i feel that are out of place, just a bit.
First, @Jangel13 Argos, doesn't quite fit the role of a Bishop. He is skilled and his abilities are good yes, but a Bishop he is not. Not quite in the way Kenji is suited being the support he is, or the way Alistair or somebody else could fit the role. I still like Alistair as a Pawn, given his skill as a jack of all trades, comparable to Rin's own skills, which is why she'll also be a Pawn if/when she joins. Still, he is a bit of a glass cannon so i wouldn't make him a Rook either. Thus, I feel he would be best suited at a knight.

@Guess WhoNora has a great Sacred Gear and she doesn't have that feeling of being a glass cannon. She just needs training. And because of her offensive and defensive capabilities, I think she would best be suited for the role of a Rook.

I know this is a bit out of nowhere, but given what I'm seeing in the characters, Ekribe would probably be best suited for the position of a Bishop. And these changes wouldn't require much in the way of a change to the characters overall anyway.

If there are any problems with the changes I have proposed thus far, please let me know.

Additionally, even though we are using the DxD world, I think we can bend the Divine beings not being able to be reincarnated rules. Mostly because like... Angels... Fallen Angels... Dragons... Valkyries... Etc. With all the beings that can be reincarnated, I don't see why a Demi-human couldn't. I would like that certain aspects of the abilities and her status as a demihuman be made more clear and elaborated as you did in this past post though Delta. Other than that, I don't wanna complete passing judgement if she may be changed because of some of the changes I'm trying to hash out right now lol

Honestly, I didn't expect the rp to get so many people. I gave him bishop because he didn't fit the rook area. So I suggested bishop due to his reliance on magic as a primary attack force. However, reassessing for the characters we have, and taking into account his weaknesses basically making him a glass cannon he is better suited as a knight, as I said in my last post.

@Demon Shinobi I don't mind changing it. Admittedly, Nora was actually based on an old character I made from another DxD RP that died before I ever even made an IC post. The only real change I made was basically switching the gender from male to female as I felt the roster needed more girls. The only reason I even requested Knight was simply because in that previous RP, that had been the only available piece. If you think she fits the position of Rook better, I won't argue with you.

Alister isn't a jack of all trades. The magic is, any promotion to knight and rook are effectively worthless in this scenario due to his narcolepsy, he doesn't need to move fast, in fact thats a terrible idea in a fatigued state and he will wear himself down further, The endurance and superstrength granted as a rook does not blend with his style of runes as he isn't one to turn around and start beating. Also suffers from the fact of his fatiguing easily through physical activity.

(because you know he actually has to get over to enemy territory in order to get promoted, thus going in without any runes. Which in order to play the running game means he has to expedite a lot of physical energy, meaning hes going to be sleepy when he gets in there. Then he has to start fortifying an area with runes... yada yada.)

That leaves bishop and queen as the effective promotions because Bishop increases the magical potency of runes and queen is basically everything.

(Safe to say if you leave him without any runes he is hopeless, not very jack of all trades like.)

Just want to clear that little thing up.

No runes = dead alister.

@Demon Shinobi I was actually thinking of changing Ekibe's powers anyways to make her fit in more as a rook, though it'd be best to suss out positions beforehand, just so that I don't need to do extra work ^-^ The positions I imagine Ekibe fitting are:

- Bishop as a dancer, using dance to power up allies and weaken enemies.

- Knight as a Holy Sword user, using Joyeuse and acting as a more defensive knight.

- Rook as a cloning illusionist, summoning multiple copies of herself to beat the crap out the baddies. Either that or follow through with the cards and make them more versatile so she's a magic rook c:

(Also the above post can be solved with mutation piece pawn)

@Guess Whookay, so go ahead and shift to rook when you get the chance. Only notable difference is that rather than high speed she'd gain superhuman strength.

@Delta44change to fit a rook. I like that best. We'll have a second knight soon enough. And your character is pretty versatile. And you can help train the newbie.

@Delta44i like the idea of the illusionist rook. I do t think you'd need the sword though. The cards, I'm thinking talismans to be honest, would be too necessary, save for buffs and debuffs, but that's a moot point. But as an illusionistic, it's likely the illusions couldn't actually do much. Could have the cards allow for the copying. Or learn some sort of clone/duplication magic. Regardless, illusion rook. Don't focus too much on the cards cause we still have the runes and what not for back up.

I believe Kohana just warped reality just a little bit there, The Club room is inside the main school building, therefore if she was outside the clubroom she would be in the hall. (unless she moved even further away unspecified) This means she would be incapable of seeing the roof of the club because that would be the roof of the entire school, or more semantically, the next floor.

What I am trying to say is that it is basically impossible for such a movement to occur with such fluidity from the hall to the top of the building. That is all.
