Captain Adam considers the proposal. He was about to agree when he received the ultimatum of target locking the Caldari ship, which was fair but Adam wasn't going in blind. He wasn't that stupid to assume any of the ships here could be trusted. "Captain" he said finally, "I accept, we will work together and I'm sure ORE and the Ishukone Corporation will work out who owes who, that's above my pay grade." he held up his hands in mock surrender, however he did not appear sorry in any way "I apologize captain, I operate in Null-sec you understand. I wont take chances if i can get more information quickly and easily. Besides you would have had a hell of a time catching a Cov-op frigate... Anyway, Once we get our situation sorted out here we will warp to 20km and figure out how we can preform some repairs to your ship. but there is a good chance I am lacking minerals. bah, we can work that out later. Until then captain" He nods to someone off camera and the link is shut off.

"Engineering, report"

"Shield core is gone, we will need a new one. armor plating is repaired and the super structure is undamaged. The jump drive will need some work to calibrate. Jump fuel is down to.. 4000 m3. lets see, the capacitor seems to have taken a glancing hit, its charging 8% slower than it should. Oh and one of the command linkage modules is down, mining will be a little slower by... 15%"

The captain sighed, "thats not too bad She has taken more of a beating than this before. what about our fleet?"

The engineer looked nervous at the question which prompted the captain to get concerned, that wasnt usually even a question. his fleet always survived due to the clones and neural download implants, it just... always worked. Hell, Adam had died in several blazes of glory in his career which just happened sometimes. The captain turned on the engineer sternly.

"Engineer. report."

"yes.. we are at about 1/2 strength. well.. less, we have plenty of ships but something.. we only have.." the engineer sighed looking quite upset "only half the fleet seemed to, uh survive, we only have 15 pilots."

"Thats impossible" said the captain not quite up to the point of believing that his pilots had actually died permanently.

"Sir the only pilots we have where killed before the jump or where aboard during the jump. Captain 'Venom' our chief Security wing commander is not with us nor are any of the Battleship pilots or the strategic cruiser, or the Interdictor.. we lost a great deal of capability." said the engineer obviously troubled "we are down to two covert ops pilots, two full frigate wings and an assault cruiser"

The captain swore in his native Gallente dialect, "Communications, send a tight beam transmission to the Carrier, flag it as urgent and for the captain only. Inform him that.. the clone facilities may not be working properly, we may not awaken in a clone bay aboard a ship or station if we die out here. He can do with that information what he will.

Anubis' Mothership, Hyperspace
.............................................En Route to Imperial Shuttle

"My lord," Her'ak said on the main screen. "The remnants of the Shol'va, Khonsu, forces are at your command."
"Good," Anubis responded to his First Prime. "The final leg of our journey commences. Now follow your god to victory!"

Four Ha'Tak-class motherships, three Al'kesh mid-range heavy attack ships, and their associated wings of death gliders leapt into hyperspace after Anubis' partially-reconstructed Mothership.

Imperial Shuttle

Someone was coming. Someone powerful.

Emperor Palpatine asked, "How many ships have their weapons powered?"
"Two ships have energy signatures matching powered weaponry, Your Majesty," Captain Bonma replied.
"Fools."

Palpatine barely registered his alarmingly smaller crew. Whatever had brought them here hadn't seen fit to bring all of his guard. Yet another reason to meet whomever was coming with strength.

He stood, and walked to the communications console. The crew scrambled out of his way in a shockingly respectful manner. They had no idea who or what was contained in the other ships, except perhaps a Jedi from the Clone Era. Another ship looked Mandalorian. If only there was enough time to properly unite the rabble behind him!

Palpatine thumbed the comms, wide band, all frequencies.

"Attention ships. There is a greater threat approaching from the" -Palpatine felt for the ripples in the Force- "Galactic Center. We must stand together or be destroyed. As this shuttle is lightly armed, I... suggest... you protect it."

Stargate Command, Earth
............................................Conference Room
"Anyone else think it's been a bit..." Jack said.
"Quiet?" Daniel offered.
"I was going to say dull."
"Well, Anubis is busy defeating the other System Lords." Carter said.
"Right." Jack responded.
"And Tok'ra intelligence has Ba'al gearing up to fight Anubis." Carter continued.
"So, we're just not in the middle of the action." Jack looked around. "Does that bother anyone else?"

Carter frowned.

"Oh, I don't know. It's, uh, relaxing. Like a vacation." Daniel said.
"A year in the higher plane of existence wasn't enough for you, huh?"

Daniel sighed.

"Many have joined the ranks of the Free Jaffa while their masters fight." Teal'c countered.
"I just feel like we're missing something." Jack said.

Oath of Salvation

Warp travel is funky at the best of time and dangerous at the worse. Given the paranormal blood that rained from ceilings, faces contorted in the walls and the occasional daemon, Warp Travel was never a thing someone would take lightly or without great care. Plus the nightmares you'd get are literally unreal. Normally you'd have the Captain organize and plot a proper route after consorting with the Navigator, a Cartographer, the Pilot and at least half of the Engineering Staff and maybe have a Cardinal or a Confessor lead a mass prayer before jumping in. The Oath of Salvation only really had time for that last bit and even then the prayer was missing about half of the more superfluous words; the priests managed to get "God-Emperor save us" in about half a dozen times in slight variations before the ship ripped a hole in reality and jumped into the Warp.

Going into the Warp with little preparation is nothing short of extremely dangerous and most likely lethal. Going into the Warp without a properly plotted course is nothing short of practically suicide and very likely to be lethal. Going into the Warp with no preparation, non set course and a damaged Warp Engine is nothing short of complete and utter suicide guaranteed to be lethal in the most horrific ways possible. However, between the fact it was a relatively short and shallow jump and the hundreds of litanies of prayer and hope in Gothic and Binary, the Oath of Salvation got out about as well as it could as its bridge crew picked themselves off the ground.

Groaning as loud as the metal hull, Rogue Trader Captain Talvyrne, First of his Name, cracked his neck after landing face first into his podium after an impressive somersault into it, "Unless the Emperor has given us the good will to allow us to stay on the ship in death, I think we are all alive. Whats the situation?"

A loud pained cry from the corner of the bridge turned into a wailing howl of curses and ethereal shrieking as a crew man grabbed his face and began to rip his face off, preaching the death of the corpse-emperor and how the warp will claim all their souls. The only thing that the possessed crewman claimed today was several dozen rounds of las-beams, bullets and bolt shells to the various parts of the body. Everyone instinctively reached for their guns the second they heard screaming and once the talk of ruinous powers came in, munitions replaced most of the oxygen around the Daemonhost.

"Add 'possessed crewman' to whatever list of issues the ship currently has and get a Confessor up here to purify it." Talvyrne barked as the body was carefully disposed of by a pair of servitors, "Anmari, get Magos Thalmar on the comms and find out anything else that this ship has broken."

After a rigid and silent effort of everyone dragging themselves back into position as well as claims of lingering voices, the metallic face Magos Errant Thalmar appeared on the screen in the captains podium. Honestly it had more in common with the front end of a Chimera APC than a human face, but few were stupid enough to say it to the Magos's face. Krag probably would have if he could string together enough words to form a coherent insult. The senior tech priest rattled something in binary to someone off screen before he began a list of malfunctions currently plaguing the ship without even a greeting.

According to the Magos, the Oath was currently stuck in space with critical damage to their Warp Engine while their Sublight Thrusters were only capable of rather pitiful spurts of thrust due to what amounted to a power line failure and what happens when a Daemon gets sucked into a ventilation fan going at mach 3 for some reason. Some of the weapons systems were also having issues, most notable being that of Macrocannon number five having to managed to shift a good 30 degrees to the left and 15 degrees down from its original housing and a potentially corrupted turret that had already claimed 4 lives and 3 limbs. Fires where of course raging across the ship in various levels of intensity with firefighters scrambling up and down lifts to reach them.

Anmari soon added that the Augur Array was offline and would require an external repair team to fix having already scrambled a swarm of servo-skulls to the location. In addition it seemed that there was still taint in some parts of the ship as reports flooded into the console of the man she was leaning over about it raining blood, distant voices, brightly colored lights and corrupted servitors. Clean up crews, clergymen and naval armsmen were hastily dispatched to take care off everything. Everything except for Pipe 448 which according to the lady had burst again but this time on the far end of the ship.

With most of the problems being attended too, Talvyrne loudly pondered if there was anything on his ship that wasn't broken. Xantol the Everliving Sky Warrior proudly proclaimed that the recaffe machine was still working, oblivious to the sarcasm in the Captain's voice as his feral world mind continued to be amazed by such an amazing, awe inspiring piece of machinery. The only other people that shared such an interest in kitchen appliances were the Tech-Priest on board who would have bonded with Xantol the Brave Star had it not been for their religious believes on what was and wasn't a machine spirit/"iron beast soul".

By the time that everything had returned to a degree of normalcy and Xantol the Son of the Solar King and Lunar Princess stopped being amazed by a machine that heated liquid, Talvyrne was fully ready to retire to his bedchamber and spend some quality time with his bedwarmers, "Have our Astropath send a-"

"Astopath is currently unconscious and mumbling about polar bears." an out of breath runner dashed into the room waving a piece of paper forcing a change of plans.

"Okay, have the Navigator-" the Captain didn't even get out enough words before another runner barreled into the bridge.

"Navigator is unconscious and mumbling about polar bears." the man waved his own piece of paper before correcting himself, "Southern polar bears, not Northern polar bears."

Its common imperial knowledge that silence was always worse than loud noises. For the Guard it was because loud noises usually involved the comforting knowledge of artillery strikes. For Nobles it was because silence usually meant that someone had just slit the throats of all their guards and was about to receive an unwarranted but free throat reconstruction courtesy of an assassin. In this case, the silent fuming of the Captain was the exact opposite and between the terribly dangerous Warp Jump and the fact that there were Space Hulks safer than his ship at the moment conveyed more emotions than words ever possibly could. Also helped that his face turned an impressive number of colors during this time. In the end, it took some sweet whispering and a light massage from Anmari to calm Talyverne down to the point he could send out a general vox call for assistance across all known channels; surely there was at least one other Imperial vessel that could help them. Otherwise they'd have to rely on the polar bear-obsessed pyskers once they woke up.

The message itself had been laced with several half-truths and flat out lies. Broadcasting on open frequencies was a dangerous move and was practically inviting raiders and pirates to attack. Overstating the true nature of the damage would hopefully at least give the ship a leg up in surprise when the raiders found out it could still fight. the mention of families and children on the ship were also true; most ships had entire families or dynasties born and raised on its decks. There was even a primitive tribe that lived in Hydroponics responsible for food production that was originally press-ganged into service from some backwater, feral jungle world. After an initial disagreement over concepts such as "indirectly serving the Emperor" and what the technical definition of slavery was, they had settled in quite nicely and have become a part of the ship. The material compensation was mostly groxshit though; Talvyrne was not in a particularly generous mood as he stormed off the bridge.

The Creed picked up the strange message from the Oath of Sal-something or another. They couldn't quite unscramble the gobbledygook that came through their side, they got the gist. They attempted to send a message back.

I am Captain Frye of the USS Creed from the United Federation of Planets. We can attempt to help and provide any assistance. If any of your people are in need of emergency medical attention we will be glad to have our doctors take care of them. If you will transmit your exact location and a list of damaged systems I will be glad to transport over a engineers, doctors, & any supplies necessary.

While waiting for the reply from the Oath. "Auditore you said you could rig up a portable holoemitter to a Hazard suit, correct?" Auditore responded affirmatively. "Get busy. I want at least ten engineers & ten doctors ready to go over at a moments notice." Auditore grumbled and got to work. "Computer have you ever heard of a God-Imp?"

"We will Captain" Anttoss was able to get out before the comm-link was closed. Well with that sorted Anttoss looked to his Engineering Officer. The Blonde haired skinny man looked up to his commander, already knowing what to do before asked. "Captain, we have assessed the damage. It wasn't as bad as we originally thought or even as bad as it felt for that matter." He swiped his hand across the Holotable. A display of the Capacitor, Warp Core, Shields, Armor, and Hull integrity appeared in front of the Captain. The Shields, Armor, and Hull displays appeared as small picture of the ship from it's starboard side with outlines and smaller rectangles with details on each system. Each layer filtered one on top of the other, giving a Twenty second pause before switching to the next. The outline on each layer was mostly Green, save the Hull integrity of the ship. From the Display, the Shield's were back to 100% and the Shield booster and the supporting Modules were still in good condition. The Capacitor seemed to be working fine as well, only losing 2% of its base recharge rate due to the damage done. The thrusters and the lower end of the ship however, had lost almost all Armor plating and the Hull was damaged. Almost 30 different parts of the surrounding Decks had been sealed around the area. This meant the death of One hundred Crew mates. The Report made Captain Anttoss look down in shame, but it wasn't the first and probably not the last time people would die under his command. At least they would be cloned back home...

Anttoss raised his head up again, to see a Private Message had been sent to him by Captain Adam. What it contained just brought even more troubles to his mind. They were truly trapped here. Not even death would take them back home now. Anttoss shook his head in respite. He needed to focus on the now and what has happened. Not the future and what ifs. Looking Back at his Engineer officer, the Captain shook his head to him to drop the displays. Next was his Tactical Officer. Again without having to say anything the Images appeared in front of his Command Seat. These images just produced numbers and statistics. The report showed most of their Ammunition had been wasted in their previous battle and a forth of his Mercenary Infantry had not made it back at time. Only three Dragonflys had perished with all the Pilots being saved. He expected no less from his Valkyries. His crew was mostly there, only about 87 have been confirmed missing that worked around the thrusters. Not as bad as he had thought, but still wasn't easy for him to swallow.

Finally the Navigation Officer put his report up. A displayed appeared focusing around the rear of the ship. Of all the Thruster ports the Liberator only had Eight of the Twenty. Only one of the three main ones worked. The Display stated the ship has lost 68% of its max base speed and the Warp Core was unstable. "Due to the Damage Captain, we cannot warp further than 80AU before the capacitor caps out. If it even Warps at all..." the Navigation officer stated before closing the display and continuing his work. Anttoss nodded at him before looking back to his Engineer officer. "Alright. Give it to me straight Aross. How long and what will it take for us to get the Warp Core fixed?" The Engineer Officer began to type on his Holotable for a few seconds before bringing it up to the commander. It displayed the resources it would take and the time it would take for each task to be complete. "A few days... A week? Maybe two. Although we do have the Materials to fix it on ship. Not to the full capacity, but better than our current status. I can probably even jury Rig somethings to get us back to full capacity." "Do it. I want that to be our main Priority. Maybe our new ORE allies can knock out a few days from that process."

Anttoss stood up from his chair to address his Command deck. "Alright, Liberator. Main objective is going to be repairing the ship. I want a wing of Dragonflys to patrol the nearby are-" "Sir, we are getting a emergency distress call!" The Communication officer interrupted. "Play it for everyone to hear!" Anttoss didn't mind the Interruption. All calls of Class-3 were to come as a priority if they were in Ishkone Space. While it wasn't their space, he appreciated the fact the Communication officer didn't hold it back.

"Attention ships. There is a greater threat approaching from the" -Palpatine felt for the ripples in the Force- "Galactic Center. We must stand together or be destroyed. As this shuttle is lightly armed, I... suggest... you protect it."

Anttoss raised his left eyebrow in confusion. Galactic Center? What were they on about? They probably were Panicking and not able to make much sense. It wouldn't be the first time he saw Captains act like this. Regardless Anttoss would not just leave them undefended if they asked for help, but in his ship's current condition he wasn't going to just Warp in. "Tell them support is on their way. Prepare the figthters!"

Nine Dragonflys exited the Hangar and began to form in a loose Wedge formation. The 30 Meter ships disengaged their safeties and began to ready their Rocket Pods and Blasters. In almost and instant the group disappeared, warping to the origin of the Distress call. In just a few seconds they landed from their warp. Video recording from each ship displayed in front of the Captain. Each one of them showed the Ship that had asked for aid. There was nothing else around and no one was attacking them. Was it possibly a trap? Also what kind of ship was that? In the over Twenty years served Anttoss had never seen a model like it...

"Orbit the Ship at Fifty Kilometers! If anything attacks them they are to make a full retreat. If that Unknown ship attacks, destroy it!". The Squadron leader Rogered up to the Command and they Dragonflys began their Orbit. Captain Antoss sat on his Command Seat and quietly waited, until the Communication officer spoke up again."Uh, Captain. We got another Distress call from a different location. I'll play it up now..."

Starlight Lance

While the Ambassador negotiated with the representative sent by the alien ship, the Starlight herself received two distinct distress messages at once.
In response to the new situation, a pair of Deep Space Probes are launched into the general vicinity of each contact. Given their minimal mass and powerful engines, they're practically catapulted to their mission locations, decelerating after a brief few seconds and deploying their sensor "wings", data flowing back to the Mothership in streams.

"Alert. This is Fleet Command. We've received calls for help from two recently arrived alien vessels. One comes from a large freighter of some sort, our probes report archaic weaponry of some kind, but also heavy damage across the board. The other, considering its design, is a small personnel transport, sending a warning on all frequencies of an incoming threat. A group of alien corvette-class strikecraft are already escorting the transport."
Pausing momentarily, the lead officer continues with the same monotonous voice as he issues orders to the bridge.
"Dispatch a squadron of repair craft to the freighter, and prepare the hangar bay for battle."

The signal sent, the vast hangar of the massive starship bursts to life with activity, dozens of Swarmer Pilots belonging to "Wave One" entering their starships and the crews of the docked frigates readying their ships for launch. Already en-route, a small gathering of 10 quadruped repair ships maneuver through the hangar bay, flying out of the Mothership and forming up into a spherical cluster on their way to the Oath of Salvation

Da’Toth frowned at her com pad. Something in the images she studied had grabbed her attention. She stared at the stars in the images on her hand held computer, they felt familiar somehow.

“Captain, the computer has recognized the phenomenon we first encountered.” The Drazi trainee stated. “It was a rare form of cosmic radiation.”

“Really?” The captain asked, “Well that's a relief.” The human stated almost cheerily.

The first officer's head snapped up at her captain’s words. Da’Toth had known Marcus for years, and she could tell by looking at him that the information was anything but relieving. And the way he spoke reminded the alien of a previous mission, one in which they knew they were being eavesdropped on.

The Shok’Nali scanned the bridge, the faces of the trainees looked relieved, and even the veteran Rangers looked more relaxed since the identity of the first one they saw was “discovered.” Da’Toth always wondered what it was about the first ones that terrified the younger… It suddenly hit her.

She tapped a series of orders into her com pad. She overheard conversation as she watched the image change. Finally her computer displayed what she hoped she’d see. Her triumph was betrayed as another result she searched for came back negative, followed by another, and again another.

Marcus was skimming the display, reading through the various conversations Ahel was eavesdropping upon. He studied the information again before the sensor trainee spoke up. The sudden identification of the “phenomenon” seemed uniquely timed.

“Really?” Marcus stated, his suspicions hadn't faded; However he felt the need to disassemble, “Well that's a relief.”

The captain could see relief settle over his crew. The truth of his doubts would remain his secret to share. He didn't know what these first ones could do, and so he’d have to proceed carefully. Marcus’ attention was grabbed by a message from a small ship.

"Attention ships. There is a greater threat approaching from the" -Palpatine felt for the ripples in the Force- "Galactic Center. We must stand together or be destroyed. As this shuttle is lightly armed, I... suggest... you protect it."

The captain’s eyebrows rose, This one is used to issuing commands. Marcus thought. He had already placed his crew at battlestations. The experienced rangers either ran their trainees through drills or relaxed; Either through meditation or more mundane means. Either way his ship was combat ready.

“Captain a moment?” A voice asked softly.

Marcus moved his eyes to his first officer, the captain nodded and joined her. “Yes?” He asked.

“I think I know where we are.” Marcus kept his face still and motioned her to continue. She showed him the computers displayed location, including an estimated date over two centuries earlier then it should be. “The date is an estimation based on recorded galactic drift.”

“That would explain our communication difficulties.” Marcus said.

“It gets worse,” The Narn entered a command and the display changed to a number of star scapes. The first officer’s finger touched one of the images. “Minbar;” The finger moved to the next images, “Zhabar, Pa’ri, Aicha;” Her voice grew sad as her finger hovered over the final image. “Narn.”

Marcus bit the inside of his cheek to prevent a frown. He wasn't intimately familiar with most of those systems. However, the star identified as Minbar was a different classification of the star he remembered. “Did you identify any star properly?”

“Only two appear correct,” The Shok’Nali stated. “Centuari Prime, and Sol.”

Oath of Salvation

The entirety of the bridge crew looked at each other with confusion. USS Creed? Federation of Planets? Star charts were brought up as crewmen argued with each other over where they were exactly. As the Confessor walked in with a censor and a blessed mop, theories were thrown about if they landed in an independent system, one that highly autonomous or someone was using a bullshit name and callsign. Plenty of people did in the void for reasons just like that of the half-true Vox message the ship had sent out. However, most didn't claim to be form some independent federation of planets; only absolute fools would use something beyond being part of some local battlegroup, comfortable in the knowledge that most ships wouldn't bother looking them up too closely.

After a fierce debate, the Captain decided that they might as well accept the offer of help from the Creed or whatever it was called. Some of the crew wondered if it was somehow related to that legendary Cadian general. With the Astropath still out of it (both in terms of conscious and mental stability), they send a return message to the Creed:

+++VOX MESSAGE+++
+++OATH OF SALVATION+++

CAPTAIN FRYE, WE HAVE EXPERIENCED SEVERE DAMAGE TO OUR WARP ENGINES AND MAIN THRUSTERS.
DAEMONIC PRESENCE AND THE TAINT OF CHAOS HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED ABOARD OUR VESSEL, PLEASE ADVISE.
PLEASE FORWARD THE VOX CODES OF YOUR TECH-PRIESTS AND MEDICADE TRANSPORTS
THE EMPEROR PROTECTS.
By the time the message was sent, things where already looking slightly better on the ship. The corrupted machine spirits had mostly been purged or pacified by the priests and enginseers. Any hostile servitors where being hunted down as they attempted to build various small shrines to Chaos by armsmen. The Augur Array was now somewhat functional thanks to the sacrifices of a few brave servo-skulls who repeatedly bashed their boney bits into the antennas until they came online and others did the more delicate work.

The presence of several ships suddenly flickered on to radar on and off. Calling over a nearby techpriest, Talvyrne told the metal man to do whatever arcane techno-magic he needed (which appeared to be chanting in binary while attempting to drown the console in holy oil) as the Captain went off to bark at Xantol the Uncowardly Cowpoking Raider on the diplomatic effects of trying to ram someone else's ship. The fact that Master Gunner Krag wanted to "bash da boogaz widph da bigga gunz" wasn't helping.

Talyvnre had gotten to the chapter on "Blunt Force Belligerence vs Blunt Honesty" when the augurs picked up something approaching the ship. It was quickly ruled out not to be some sort of man escort and appeared to come from a different direction than the USS Creed. In and instant Talvyrne barked something at the Ogryn and a massive fist slammed on a button on the control pannel. After it was established that button caused the tech priest attending to the Captain's podium to errupt into flames after sparks caught on his robes, a second button was pressed which activated the point defense turrets

The Oath of Salvation soon turned its best broadside towards the oncoming targets. When the thing suddenly split off what appeared to be fighters, that was when the ship open fired. The void lit up with point defense turrets and lasers in an attempt to prevent the fighters from reaching them. Armsmen where scrambled and everyone prepared for boarding or a full on engagement as the PT did their work. Xantol the Ever-Wise theorized that it was some kind of Daemonic forces that had joined forces with Orks to attack them; Daemorks as he called them before the Confessor hit him over the head with his purification censor on his way out, much to the applause of everyone else in the room.

Deep Space - Utility Squadron Zero One

In a flurry of rapid movement, the tiny vessels weave through the incoming fire only to turn tail and blast away. Their tiny masses and oversized ion engines proved to be their lifeline as the squadron regroups in a broad diamond formation, moving with coordinated spins and brief split-ups until they're finally out of the danger zone.

Starlight Lance: Bridge

Back on the Mothership, Fleet quietly facepalmed...
"Status report."
"The formation's leader reports light energy damage, glancing blows I assume. No casualties reported." The nearby Wing Commander promptly responds
"Kharak forgive me... Tell them to dock up and head home. Helm! Put some more distance between us and that ship, and Comms? Send a message in Galactic Common, make sure they don't see us as their foes. That will be all for now."

Just as the nimble vessels slip into the hangar bay, the Starlight Lance fires a series of gigantic ion reaction thrusters running along the rim of its bulbous bow, shifting a dozen kilometers backwards before coming to a stop, and by the order of Fleet Command, the Communications Officer sends a transmission in the direction of the Oath of Salvation.
"Attention alien ship, the Kadeshi mean no harm to you. It was a mistake to send vessels your way without declaring our peaceful intentions. Our ship acknowledges your request for aid. Shall we try again?"

Kuriotes

Things were proceeding fairly well aboard the ship, the damage to the Phase Drive would soon be repaired and they could be back underway. Retris was doing her best to identify a phase lane they could use to get out of here if they needed to, perhaps recreate whatever had brought them here in the first place, but it was slow going. At least they didn't have to worry about any TEC ships arriving to blast them out of the sky.

Not that that meant there weren't other problems.

"Incoming message," Valeran said aloud, isolating it for the moment so they could determine the contents. And what it was was not pleasant. It spoke of some unknown force headed their way that was intent on doing them harm. Which was worrying, given the eclectic nature of arrival here.

Taking in the message, Denesther shook her head. "Did you see where it came from? I wouldn't trust that message further than I could throw that shuttle with my bare hands." And she had a point. Coming from such a source of hostility and anger, it made Valeran much less willing to trust the words of the messenger even if they were correct.

"Nonetheless, it would be a good idea to be prepared. Keep our weapons ready just in case."

Sighing, Denesther nodded in confirmation as she reached out and grasped the two joysticks in front of her. they linked into her augments, and she relayed the message to the rest of the ship. They would be ready if there was shooting.

"We have weapons fire." The message propagated through the Unity, picked up by various Scryers and delivered directly to Retris and the captain. Valeran could practically see it, the large vessel unleashing a broadside with massive projectiles that would make any TEC scientist salivating with envy (given their preference for large kinetics as epitomized in the Novalith Cannon). Fortunately none of them were aimed at the Kuriotes, but if the fighting spread then there was no telling what the carnage would be.

Quickly Valeran informed the crew of what was going on, and offered her assessment of what she would be doing. With no real disagreement, the plan was soon put into motion. "Get us away from the fighting."

Retris nodded, working the holographic orb in front of her as she relayed directions to the sublight engines and put them into motion. they'd soon be well clear of the current fighting, though unfortunately they couldn't just phase jump out of here. This was well beyond anything the Unity had experienced before.

At the same time the radio was forsaken for a more direct approach. Valeran could feel the hiss as more drugs were pumped into her system, expanding her mind as she channeled through the ships Psitech for a broadcast. Not the most subtle way to go about this but they did not need a scalpel right now. They needed something more direct.

And so the psychic broadcast would go out, tapping into the minds of those who could hear it. 'This is Captain Valeran of the Kuriotes. I speak on behalf of the Unity. We do not intend harm, but know that those who fire upon our vessel will feel the Unity's wrath. We have become very adept at defending ourselves from unprovoked aggression.' Now all that remained was to see if they got the message.

Arrival Location
Anubis' fleet burst into the scene with colorful clouds of Cherenkov radiation. Four golden pyramid ships, three black ovoids, and a 2000-meter wide, eight-spoked disc floated in front of the gathered interdimensional fleet.

The mothership's outer spokes weren't finished. Bare girders and exposed energy conduits were occasionally lit up by the sparks of Jaffa construction crews that were, even now, desperately trying to bring staff cannon emplacements online. The ship was large and unmaneuverable, and the main superweapon didn't have enough power to function; but the spiky exterior still sent an appropriately intimidating message.

On the Pel'tak (bridge/throne room), Anubis sent an outgoing video message. He was sitting far back on his throne, cloaked in shiny black robes, with a hood that obscured the dark, shifting force field that contained his partially-ascended essence.
"I am Anubis." He paused so the mortals could be appropriately awed. "I claim this vessel. Stand clear or be destroyed."
"Disable its engines," Anubis ordered. "Release the gliders. Fire on any foolish enough to defy us."

He contacted Her'ak and his auxiliary fleet. "Her'ak. Protect the mothership."
87 death gliders and three Al'kesh swarmed out of the hangar bays of his mothership and made a beeline for the Imperial shuttle. While there would normally be a large compliment of Al'kesh as well, there hadn't been time to transport them all to Aaru.

Enhanced staff cannons fired at the Imperial Shuttle. While they had increased damage potential as compared to other staff cannons, their greatest strength was in the sheer number of turrets spread along Anubis' mothership. Of course, two arms had few turrets, leaving a blindspot currently protected by a wing of death gliders.

Large balls of orange plasma raced through the screen of defensive ships near the shuttle. Many missed wildly, but some hit.
Imperial Shuttle
A Few Minutes Earlier
"There are nine fighter craft escorting us, Your Majesty," Captain Bonma reported.
"And the capitol ships?"
"Your Majesty, while several have powered weapons, they don't appear to be forming a defensive perimeter."

They clearly didn't understand the situation. Palpatine hadn't had to deal with this sort of indecision and incompetence since the days of the Galactic Senate.

A thousand voices, joined as one, shouted through the force.
'This is Captain Valeran of the Kuriotes. I speak on behalf of the Unity. We do not intend harm, but know that those who fire upon our vessel will feel the Unity's wrath. We have become very adept at defending ourselves from unprovoked aggression.'
It was annoying, because the voices didn't feel right. They were tainted, mechanical, like listening to a video call with a poor connection.

"Hostiles emerging from hyperspace!" a crewman shouted.

Palpatine could feel something obviously dark and powerful resonating in the Force, coming from the massive, spiky ship. He reached back to the corrupted telepaths:

@FlamelordYour weakness will be your undoing. Attack the newcomers before-
The shuttle shook as weapon's fire slammed into it.

"The hyperdrive is unresponsive," an officer calmly reported.
"I'm attempting to evade. Contact those fighters, request an escort to-" Captain Bonma started.
"Request their ship move to cover us," Emperor Palpatine countermanded.
"Yes, Your Majesty," the comms officer said.

@TheCrash20 This is the Imperial Shuttle to our escort. We request your mothership move to cover us.

But before the crew of the Endeavor could get a response from the Mandalorian Cruiser, the General Vell began feeling another disturbance within the realms of hyperspace. His eye twitches as he begins to sense several powerful vessels coming into this sector, followed by the collision of another's scouting the exact route. No doubt it was this dark lord also piercing the realm of hyperspace, also sensing the ominous fleet coming to this sector. He clenches his teeth as he attempts to keep the information at bay, quickly expunging them before his mind comes back to reality.

"What do you see General?" Admiral Kardoff asks curiously, with two clone troopers beside him getting ready to support their jedi commander if the visions get too overwhelming.

There was a pause before the jedi responded.

"Something's coming from hyperspace." Vell replies with slight worry, "I sense a fleet approaching... and an ominous presence leading it. I have no doubts that it's hostile."

"I say we ready our forces then." the Admiral responds confidently, "The pilots are already on standby in the hangar bays. They'll be out in space almost immediately after I give out the~"

Another interruption came in the form of static noise coming from the comms-network.

"We got two new messages sir." a clone operative announces to the commanders, "One is broadcasted on all known frequencies."

The admiral sighs in annoyance as he stands up to face him.

"Decode the latter transmission."

As soon as they put the said transmission, an old raspy voice echoed throughout the entire command bridge.

"Attention ships. There is a greater threat approaching from the" -Palpatine felt for the ripples in the Force- "Galactic Center. We must stand together or be destroyed. As this shuttle is lightly armed, I... suggest... you protect it."

The entire crew listened to the announcement silently with intrigue... all except for the jedi onboard, with his eyes open and his teeth gritting harshly.

"It's him." he says rapidly with a hint of ire.

Everyone turns to General Vell, with the Admiral raising an eyebrow of question.

"Who?" he asks concerningly.

"The voice..." the jedi answers immediately, "The voice I heard earlier... the hooded man~"

And with a swift unhinged movement, the jedi bursts out with the cocking of his head straight towards the Admiral.

"It's a Sith Lord!" he bursts out before he tries to keep himself under control.

Kardoff was already getting slightly weirded out by the Jedi's current state. He's beginning to lash out in a control mix of fear and anger, as if he sensed something terrifying in the force. Could it really be as bad as he was stating this sith lord to be?

"And what of this sith lord?" the admiral queries with a stern commanding presence for he is already getting tired of this, "Is this a sith lord you jedi have been constantly trying to find?"

"Admiral! We have incoming ships approaching from hyperspace!"

Another deus ex machina alerts the Admiral as he growls at the multiple inconveniences that prevent him from getting answers. He looks out from the bridge to see four golden pyramid ships, three black ovoids, and a 2000-meter wide, eight-spoked disc emerge from the void. Almost immediately a holo-message pops up from the holo-projection table near the back of the bridge, showing an ominous, hooded figure announcing his agenda to the Endeavor, and possibly to all nearby ships as well.

"I am Anubis... I claim this vessel. Stand clear or be destroyed."

The crew gathered around to see the figure ominously state his business, except the shell-shocked jedi and other operating personnel, trying to make sense of the figure's presence. Meanwhile the operators begin zooming in on the hostile ships and the nearby "neutral" and "allied" cruisers around them. From Anubis' fleet, the operators can see a fury of starfighters and orange laser fire attempt to board what looks to be a shuttle of some sort.

"Enemy contact sighted." another operative announces, "Vessel they are trying to capture looks eerily to one of our own Nu-class transports!"

Kardoff quickly stomps over to see the detected readings. The jedi meanwhile begins to become even more panicked at the situation.

"He's in there!" he shouts wildly, "That sith lord is in there! You have no idea of the consequences that he can bring across the galax~"

"SHUT IT VELL!" Kardoff booms over the aloofed jedi, "You're in shock! And you are in no condition to currently command this vessel! I shall handle this conflict myself."

He signals two clone troopers as they began to try and restrain the jedi in an attempt to calm him down. They take him to the elevator in order to find safe room. As soon as he was taken into the elevator, Kardoff rolls his eyes as he focuses on the battle at hand.

"Blasting... lunatic..." he grumbles to himself quietly before regaining his composure. With the jedi commander seemingly unfit to command the assault, the admiral takes matters into his own hands. He taps into the ship's speakers to alert everyone in the Endeavor.

"Commencing battle protocol." he announces to the crew, "Launch all fighters and prepare for combat. Protect that white shuttle and pull it to allied lines! Do not let the enemy extract it!"

The klaxon alarms blare code red throughout the Venator as the pilots began entering their ships. Within seconds after the order was announced, 60 V-Wings and 20 ARC-170s began pouring out of the Venator and towards the conflict ahead of them. As they rush in battle formation against the enemy fleet, Kardoff leans into the comms-network and announces orders to the rest of the ships not under Anubis' control.

"Calling all nearby ships! This is the Venator-Class Star Destroyer, Endeavor, under the command of Admiral Kardoff, with an urgent message. The enemy is attempting to extract the white shuttle for themselves, which I've been told it houses a powerful force from within. If it gets to the hands of the enemy, it will cause ruin for us all! We are familiar with the vessel and thus we volunteer to extract it - but we need cover fire in order to secure it in one piece via our tractor beam! Cover our ship and keep the enemy at bay as we get within range. The fate of everyone's survival depends on all who participate!"

And thus... the battle begins.

Starlight Lance

Tesline Nevaar, the living heart of the Mothership, watched as the situation unfolded in front of her in the form of a giant spherical hologram, a single equally sizeable blue sphere centered on the Mothership. Each of the numerous examples of strikecraft-class vessels in the area appeared as little triangles, each frigate-class vessel a diamond, and every capital ship represented with elongated rhombuses. As the many ships moved into action, their distances and elevations relative to the Mothership shifted accordingly, visual sensors approximating their silhouettes in the battlescape as simple "models".

She had a full view of the battlefield, and as such, she quickly made her decision, the Mothership firing ventral thrusters to lift herself upwards and her main engines pushing her into formation with the Venator Star Destroyer.
"This is Mothership: Nebula-5, the Starlight Lance. The Kadeshi are with you."

On the Republic sensors, the massive ship lit up with what seemed to be some sort of IFF signal, proudly presenting herself as an ally while the dreaded First Wave floods out from her vast hangar bay. Droves of 9-meter long Swarmer microvessels blast out of the gaping entrance running along the circumference of the hull just behind the bow.
Wave One numbering 72 Swarmers strong, spirals around the Starlight Lance like a menacing cloud of locusts before they turn and rocket away with a short controlled burst of thrust. Roughly organizing themselves into 5 mobs of ships with 9 fighters each, the leaders bring their numerous wingmates along to join the Republic advance, their double-barreled plasma guns beginning to glow with red energy.

Captain Frye was more than a little confused about some of the information. At least this time the computer decoded it completely.

Oath of Salvation, we do not know what Vox Codes are we assume it is some kind of friend or foe coding. We do not have tech-priests, most of my crew is holographic they do not worship any deity. We can beam over several engineers and doctors. For us to beam them over you will have to lower any shields. Please......Hold a second.

Frye cut the transmission. She was alerted to the presence of pyramid shaped ships and their hostile actions. Plus the Endeavor's request for help evil from getting eviler. "RED ALERT!" Instantly weapons systems and shields were brought to full power. As well as audible alarm throughout the ship. Throughout the ship Frye could be heard. "Hostiles aliens of unknown origin are attacking a defenseless shuttle that we have learned has another hostile alien on board. We have been advised by a friendly ship that we can't allow the two to meet. Prepare for separation."

Oath of Salvation I'm afraid help will have to wait. A dire situation has arisen that must be taken care of first.

Areas of the ship began to seal themselves off. Frye then was only communication with the people in charge of bridges Beta & Gamma. "Beta & Gamma focus fire on weapon emplacements if they have shields. Find a way through them." Prometheus Alpha, Beta, & Gamma raced towards the pyramid ships and shuttle. Beta & Gamma immediately began firing phasers finding the ship protected by shields. Alpha positioned itself between the the pyramids and the shuttle.

I am Captain Frye of the USS Creed from the United Federation of Planets. We cannot act as your shield forever. I suggest lowering your shields and allowing us to beam you aboard our ship.

What Frye didn't tell them they were going to be beamed directly to a holding cell.

"Looks like things are getting a little crazy over there" says Zan over her tight beam comms

"I am Anubis. I claim this vessel. Stand clear or be destroyed."

Captain Adam looks over to the communications officer, who just shrugs "transmitting in the clear, everyone is hearing it" says the officer.

"Ok, who the hell is Anubis?" says the captain not as keyed up as he might otherwise be due to his reletavely long distance from the starting battle.

"No idea sir, no information we have access to."

Captain Adam ponders for a moment, "do we care about this nonsense?"

Desai speaks up "It looks like our Caldari friends are joining the skirmish, we could send a wing out to poke at the fighters it would be a good gesture if nothing else."

The captain nods, "Very well... Navigation, Plot a randomized warp pattern to keep us a few light minutes from the battle but close enough to keep tabs. Raise all combat ships, wing one on defense, warping with us. Wing two, get in there and cause some trouble."

Captain Geroh fired up his Assault Cruiser, Blaster cannons loaded with neutron charges. He checked over the shield and armor system. within a few minutes the cruiser was prepared and ready. "Wing one, protect the Forge, Wing two on me." He said over the comms, When he did 4 Incurses attack frigates, an assault frigate formed up on him and warped to 70km on the Imperial Shuttle. Moments later his little force had activated their Micro warp drives, Armor Nanite pumps, and energized resistance plating. The force broadcast ORE iff codes to the surrounding ships but trusted that they where not going to become the prime targets due to all the capitals in the area.

Several Death gliders broke from the rest of the swarm to engage Geroh, "First customers lads, Web and Scram." he said calmly referring to the stasis web his Incurses frigates could apply to target ships and the FTL scrambling capability of his assault frigate. The team broke away in flights of two frigates webbing down a single Death Glider to nearly 25% of its original velocity and slicing it to pieces with their railguns. The assault frigate with its micro warpdrive kept pace with the attack frigates and applied its neutron blasters to the targets as well reducing the gliders to small clouds of radiation and burning atoms. Geroh and his assault cruiser acted as the heavy weapon platform he was designed to be and imposed himself between the swarm of fighters and his own force while they dealt with the remaining gliders. The gliders manage to score plenty of hits on the frigates but their resilient armor and nanite repair systems quickly compensated for the light damage they where taking from the relatively smaller ships. Being locked down with the web system reduced the glider's defensive ability to nearly nothing being incapable of evading incoming fire

"Status" ordered Geroh

"Venom, 80% shield, 100% armor, two kills."
"Abyss, 10% shield, 90% armor, one kill"
"Valiant, 45% shield, 100% armor, two kills"
"Deadman, 0 shields, 35% armor.. repair cycle done 45% armor, one kill"

"Well done lads, We will keep nibbling at the edge of this fight, no sense charging the Cap here and getting killed."

"Captain this is Squadron Leader Alpha, we have several Unknown Ships on grid with us. They seem to be on different sides. The shuttle seems to have other allies. The attackers are composed of A unknown Capital Ship, four Battle Cruiser sized ships, and a smaller shi- Standby. Captain, a swarm of unknown drone sized targets have begun launching. Please advise, over"

"Activate Microwarp Drives and clear some space, approach the defenders. You're going to be our warp in, so give us some space.". The Squadron Leader Rogered up and the Nine Dragonflies broke off from shuttle. As they passed they each sent a few rocket volleys at the gliders. Each individual volley turned the Death Gliders in to scrap metal. It didn't surprise any of the Valkyries. Their weapons were meant to destroy anything smaller than a Battleship in just a few volleys. These 20 feet fighters didn't stand a chance against his 30 meter Fighters. It was almost criminal for them to be matched up. "Captain, visual confirmation. These aren't drones, but un-shielded manned Fighters. Drones would of fought better, over.". Captain Anttoss smiled at the Squad leader's cockiness. Like any mercenary, they had no problem boasting their skill.

In the last few seconds, another message came from the shuttle. Passed from the fighters to the Liberator. Then a Sansha-esk man appeared on his Ship's Bridge display. Not only without permission, but threatening them. Maybe the words about to leave Anttoss's mouth were controlled from emotions rather than logic, but he had enough of all this. It was time to put some order in the chaos surrounding him and he would be damned if the Liberator wasn't the source of this order. "Man your battle stations! Warp to the Fighter Squadron Alpha, ready the Shield Booster, and load the Launch Tubes. Time to prove why this Ship is named the Liberator!".

The Liberator landed from the Warp in a hard shake. The massive two kilometer ship landed only Five Kilometers from the Endeavor. Engulfing the Cruiser in the Shadow of the Liberator. With just a second of stillness, the tactical overview in front of the Captain began to mark targets. Issuing them Icons due to their sizes, ranges, and possible enemies and allies. The Liberator Began to lock the Goa'uld ships before a moment of silence fell upon the Bridge.

"Begin the attack!"

Dragonflies began to undock from the Carrier. Three groups of Nine fighters making a B-line to the enemy Fighters. Bright streams of blue lit up the space as the Microwarp drives launched the Fighters faster than any Interceptor could dream of. Behind them several larger Blue Orbs followed. The Capital Killing Missiles of the Liberator zoomed across the empty void finding the closest Pyramid shaped ship as fine prey. The Valkyrie Pilots of the Dragonflies began killing the Death Gliders with extreme prejudice. It only took one solid hit from their Rocket volley or a Blaster shots to destroy the Gliders and the Valkyries took full advantage of this fact. The Fighters kept a Wedge formation, firing their Blaster shots all at once to inflict maximum damage to the swarm, while still keeping far enough from the other unknown Fighters. As the Dragonflies began their slaughter, the sides of the Liberator began to glow a Bright purple. It was the activation posses of their Smaller torpedo launchers. In a few seconds of the glow, what looked like one hundred purple orbs began to fly towards Group of Pyramid ships. Indiscriminately targeting each one.

With the Battle beginning to unfold, Captain Anttoss sent a voice recording message to the ships surrounding them.

Unknown Vessels. This is Captain Anttoss of the Ishkone Corporation Liberator. We have come to assist you with the battle. If you engage our ship, we will scuttle your ship... If we all make it by the end of this I will make contact with you at a later date. I do not know your Targeting Capabilities, but I can send you the coordinates of the ships the Liberator will be attacking in order. I recommend you focus your Fighters at the Main Targets as my Fighters will Clean up their weak support crafts. Anttoss, Out.

@Sophrus@Anomaly758@Lmpkio@Burning Kitty

As the message was sent, Anttoss stood up from his console and walked to the Bridge view port. After the start of each Battle he like to view what he could with his own eyes. What he saw shocked him.

"Is that an Avatar!".

Hangar bays on the bottom of all four pyramid ships slid open and more death gliders scrambled out in great numbers, each ship deploying an additional swarm of 30 death gliders. Half of the total 120 death gliders moved to intercept the fighters launched by the Endeavour and Starlight lance. The rest pressed on towards the white shuttle which was now slowly being engulfed in a not too coordinated defensive formation.

As the fighters launched the Ha'tak pyramid ships individually opened fire as well. One of them focused mainly on The Endeavor, blots of orange plasma pelting it's shields. The splashes of orange looked more dramatic than they actually were, not overly taxing the Endeavor's shields.
Two of the pyramid ships focused on what was assumed to be the bigger threat based on size alone, opening concentrated fire on the Starlight Lance. Explosions lit up the side of the ship as chunks of metal sheared off the side of the vessel. Still compared to the thickness of the amor the amount of material being lost was relatively minimal.

The shields of two pyramid ships currently engaged in combat lit up as two of the now three-way segmented USS Creed fired phaser volleys at them. In response the fourth Ha'tak class vessel engaged the two Creed segments close to it. The shields of the gamma segment flickered, it's shield strength being diminished by the staff cannon blasts, yet the Ha'tak vessel found itself hard pressed to strip it down completely as the shield quickly regenerated.

While Endeavor and Starlight Lance fighter swarms were still on an intercept course with the first wave of gliders The Forge's attack group warped to the location and quickly closed the gap between them and the swarm thanks to their Microwarp drives. One by one gliders were slowed down to a crawl and occasionally tumbled through space not being able to cope with the effect generated by the stasis webifiers. Seconds after being tackled only bits of wreckage remained of them.

The skirmish progrssively intensified just as the Liberator warped in and immediately began it's assault. A number of bright flashes englufed one of the Ha'taks assaulting the Starlight Lance, causing it's shield to glow around the entirety of the ship. Yet as the light from the explosions diminished the Ha'tak vessel proved to be unscaved. Meanwhile the Dragonflies launched just before the torpedo assualt were quickly shredding large numbers of death gliders. In response a portion of the original glider wave veered in attempt to rush their assailants.
More smaller torpedoes followed the intital offensive, pummelling the shields of the Ha'tak motherships, yet seeming just as ineffective as the initial captial grade ones.

Captain Frye was watching the shields of each segment closely. She’s never been on a ship with these shields before. She’s never seen them in action. Watching simulations isn’t always accurate, reading schematics helps but watching them perform in person was a thing of beauty. Her previous ship would have been destroyed by these pyramid ships. Her holographic always tactical officer was doing a wonderful job of keeping those fighters at bay.

She was also keeping an eye on the shields of the pyramid ships. “Beta, Gamma I want you to concentrate all your phaser fire at this location.” She sent coordinates for a spot on the underside of the closets pryramid ship. “Alpha will do so as well & Alpha will follow it up with a photon torpedo. Due this in precisely two minutes.”

With the holographic crew she knew their computer brains could this without problem. She had to use the photon torpedoes sparingly no telling when or if she could get any replacements.

“Captain we have picked up weapons fire.” Marcus turned away from Da’toth and looked at the minbari sensor tech.

“Did our impending doom make its appearance?” The human asked.

“Negative,” The communications trainee answered, “Appears to have been a miscommunication between a pair of ships.”

Marcus nodded and started to turn back to his first officer when the communications officer slid past the trainee and pushed a message through to the viewer.

”- Anubis. I claim this vessel. Stand clear or be destroyed."

“It is being played across all communication frequencies.” The comm officer answered the captain's unspoken question.

Marcus headed for his chair, Da’toth moved to her station. “This must be the threat.” He started, “Certainly believes himself to be intimidating. End the drills.”

The captain leaned back and watched as the chaos of battle started to unfold.

The ship moved away from the periphery of the conflict towards the very center.

“Get me a line to that shuttle.” Marcus stated pointing to the vessel that instigated the warning.

“A jump point vortex will be opening to your starboard. Make haste into it and you will be clear of the battle, try to avoid the edge.”

Marcus motioned for the communications to be cut. Turning to the ship's pilot the Shok’na nodded, confirming the orders he’d given during the communication. The captain then pushed a button on his chair’s arm.

“Wyvern Lead.” A voice stated.

“Standby to launch.” Marcus answered. “Your wing may end up fighting in hyperspace though.”

The amount of events that had transpired within the event would be capable of confusing any seasoned crew. Starships from everywhere in the unbelievably immense multiverse had appeared, some damaged and requesting help, some intact and questioning who was who. Some ships helping others, some ships moving away from everyone else. One ship, a shuttle, even suggesting that everyone should protect it from an incoming fleet. It was of course this fleet that brought everything together.

The Myth had no choice but to hide the moment the battle had commenced. They were too hard to see, both visually and scan wise. Moving into the battle would probably end up in them getting shot from any side, and the Myth's captain didn't want to see what some of those nasty capital ship weapons could do to their little ship.

However, after watching for the battle, the Captain noticed one role the Myth could help in... and that role was as a superfighter and escort to the shuttle, which unknowingly to them held a great darkness, but had been claimed to be immensely important by the triangular shaped ship. The only "side" shooting at the shuttle was the strange pyramid vessels, so they would be out of the way of capital fire. Now, Carter had watched their "friends" using a variety of wormholes to maneuver in the battle. Carter decided he'd do it too. "With all of these ways to travel faster than light, it's amazing it took us hundreds of years to figure it out, even after our first colony." Carter remarked as his vessel entered into a wormhole... and was spat our after less than a second. They were now in the heart of a massive battle between fighters just in front of the shuttle.
"Shield is taking hits sir, permission to take control of the ship?" The AI announced.
"Granted." Carter went to the intercom system: "Alright, we have entered into combat, everyone secure yourself in the case we lose gravity or inertia negation."
Almost instantly the Myth's many weapon bays opened, revealing a variety of lethal objects. The Myth launched missiles, spun up its many railguns, and started to spin and accelerate in ways that only space would allow. If not for inertia negation the crew would remembering what they had for lunch. Despite the AI controlled flying, the ship's shields were still absorbing fire, but they were scoring kills.
