I do not have a passport, never have had one. I am an American citizen yet I have traveled to Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia and Hungary. Oh yea, during most of those visits, except the ones to France, Croatia and Hungary, I was carrying a firearm.

Despite having international friends, as well a grandfather that was born in Germany (yet still American due to how military bases work), I have not traveled outside the country. I haven't crossed the Mississippi yet, but I have been to the east coast down by Myrtle beach.

If I did have the ability to travel outside the US, I'd probably visit central Europe or Japan. Visiting Japan sounds cool, and I have several friends that live in central Europe (Germany, Austria, Hungary, etc).

Fun fact: One of my friends lives in Hannover, and during World War 2, the Americans captured the city on my birthday. Also, the division that did so was mainly made up of men from my state and the surrounding states. Thought it was interesting and a welcome surprise.

I so want to visit Japan! Buuut, that's not happening until I grad HS :/

Anyway, I haven't been anywhere outside the country either, but my parents have been to Europe twice where allegedly I was conceived :/

Not that I really want to think about that...

If/when I have children, I'll never let them be a child actor. On one hand, that will probably turn them into entitled little shits (even more so than me), and it'll be bad for them in the long run. And I'll let Family Guy cover my other reason.

I recently learned the importance of properly tuning your suspension when riding motorcycles. Preload and damping can mean the difference between a two-wheeled mule that feels like a brick and an actually well-behaved motorcycle.

I've not watched a single episode of Steven Universe outside those that would be playing in the background while I did something else. Most modern cartoons aren't really my thing, but then again I am an adult that still watches Pokemon.

People constantly think I'm someone else whenever I'm on the phone. An example...

Insurance rep: "Hello! How may I help you today?"
Me: "I need to set up a ride to an appointment. My information is blahblahblah, yadda-yadda-yadda."
IR: "Are you setting up the appointment for him, ma'am?"
Me: "... I AM him." -_-;


My voice isn't feminine, and last I checked, enjoying "Mama Mia!" didn't raise your voice a pitch or two.

I was told that it was because I type "gender neutral" once, but other than the anime avatars and the fact my characters have a larger female to male ratio, I can't seem to wrap my mind around it.

@Sola Your avatar and signature appear very feminine. The name Sola with an -a ending makes me think feminine as well. I would assume you are feminine regardless of how you type or what you write.

I have decidedly chosen masculine name and avatar to insure there is no such confusion about my gender. Besides, I'm old...and a veteran.

I was mistaken for a celebrity as a kid, by some old lady at a health food store once. And in my young age, my older brother would mock me for looking young Anakin Skywalker. Though nearly anyone who looks at him now, compares him to Napoleon Dynamite. So I think I win. c:
