Griffin knelt down and inspect the puddle he agreed that it was Ectoromapitol. But that didn't mean it was from the shifter. "Can you determine what kind it is? other things besides shifters leave Ectoromapitol." He didn't know much about the stuff himself. He usually just gathered it up and brought it to the lab. Maybe he wouldn't have to do that. It would certainly speed things up if Astra could do it. He wondered if her analysis was submittable in court. Shifters rarely challenged the BOSA but it might be a good idea to cover all the bases for the other groups.

While he was talking the owner of the shop walked away. Griffin could almost smell his anger. He didn't know why the man was so angry. It wasn't like they were scaring away other customers. Or maybe they were. Just not the legal kind. Maybe the man had something besides a shifter to hide. The question was what and why. There were a lot of things supernaturals hide from each other and humans. He couldn't think of anything this man wouldn't want them to find other than the shifter. "Do you have cameras?" Most stores did. Not that it did them any good. It was too costly to go after thieves.

"No I do not. Even if I did you have no reasonable cause to look at them." The owner snapped at him.

Argus stood back, allowing Richard to make the first move towards the necromancer and watching the elderly man's reactions; attempting to gauge the old man's stability. As soon as Bradley called him out on eavesdropping, the senior agent joined his partner, pausing briefly to whisper to Richard "Play along. And relax, he's not gonna hurt us. The Zs are reacting to your holy aura." before sitting down on the edge of the fountain's barrier, "We're partners, actually. Served in the same squad." he offered, "I'm Argus, Argus Grau. You'll have to excuse my partner's nerves; We've just come back from the war, you see." he explained, hoping to bait some information out of the suspect. If they could piece together just where -or rather when- Bradley believed he was, it would be easier to detain him peacefully. "It's nice to meet you Bradley, and George as well. he glanced at Richard before continuing, "Out for a morning walk, I suspect?"

The golem agent nodded at the vampire and turned her attention back to the evidence, and possibly their only lead to their rogue shape shifter. Picking up the nail she found earlier, she places it in her mouth and begins analyzing what creature was the nail originally from.

Analyzing Substance...Complete.
Substance Identified as: Fingernail (Human, Male)
Sample Age: 1 hour/s 03 minute/s

Proposal: Locate Species under genus Forma Mutatnte capable of mimicking and shape shifting into humanoid shape.

Processing...Complete.
Species Capable of Mimicry and Shifting into Humanoid Shape: 47
System is Unable to Specify Exact Species

Proposal: Locate and gather more evidence.
system

"Griffin, there are 47 species capable of mimicking humans as well as capable turning into a human or humanoid form. The system cannot specify any one species until further evidence is gathered." She then turns to face the store owner. "False. If you had any form of security system or a means to record data, may it be visual and/or auditory; a federal investigation such as this requires the most thorough collection of data and evidence. Thus refusal to provide said data, is a criminal offence." She states as a matter of fact, her monotone voice and stoic visage emanating a professional aura. "Also, if this establishment has a second floor or a back room, we would like to search those areas as well."

@Phantomlink959
Richard nods, but keeps quiet as the senior agent conversed with the elderly man. "Well met, fellow veterans. I commend your valor and your sacrifice." The old man replies with a broad smile and a rather genuine salute of respect to the two. He lowers his arm and replies to the dijin's question. "Quite correct, Argus. There is nothing better in the world than a walk in the calm lazy morning." The old man lets out a content sigh before speaking again. "I was actually on my way to see my great-great-great-great grandchildren." He turns to 'George' and shakes him playfully by the shoulder. "...but George over here is quite the chatterbox and been eating up my time. Shame on you George." The zombie does not reply and keeps staring at Richard. "Well, of course I forgive you. What are friends for!"

"Ah, a fellow military man. What branch?" Argus returned the salute and the smile, "Couldn't agree more. I always go for a walk in the morning - preferably to the liquor store." the Djinn joked, cracking a grin, "That's a lot of greats. Exactly how old are you, if you don't mind my asking?", he observed carefully as Bradley shook 'George' -clearly a friendly gesture- and kept his eyes on the undead, waiting for any sign of aggression from the surrounding zombies, "I must ask, what is George's condition? He's looking a bit worse for wear." the red haired agent inquired further. Bradley was unusually talkative and seemed entirely harmless -nit was just a matter of figuring out how aware he was of his actions and determining an appropriate course of action

"If you want to search them go right ahead. The basement is through the back. I will be contacting my lawyer about this breach of privacy." The owner growled his eyes briefly flashed.

Griffin made his way over to the other man. "I know you're not human." He announced. Anyone would have knowing that after being attacked by the man. He didn't like the man and wanted to take him in. Technically he could. Assaulting an officer was against the law but doing so wouldn't solve the case and would only make him look bad. No he needed something solid in order to arrest the guy."What are you?"

Technically the man didn't have to answer. Supernatural beings had the right to hide the origins. It helped keep the peace. They could bypass that if they thought it had something to do with the case, which Griffin unfortunately wasn't sure if that knowledge would help or not. "I am not telling anything."

"Griffin, the store owner is being uncooperative. Do I have your permission to detain him for hindering a federal investigation? Or would you have an alternative means to make him more cooperative?" The golem asks the vampire agent. Astra had some built in scrying spells that would work on even the most uncooperative beings; though the issue was that doing an invasive scry would violate a number of their rights. Though if push came to shove, she would use it. Lives were on the line and she was not willing to endanger or sacrifice any more lives just because a supernatural was being uncooperative.

@Phantomlink959
The old man nodded and laughed at the dijin's joke. Though soon he purses his lips as he scans his aged mind for relevant information for the 'veteran' that stood before him. "I...hmm. Yes, I served in the Gallipoli Campaign. 22nd infantry brigade, 'The Thunderers.' I tell you now Argus, Richard; they were some of the dumbest, meanest, and bravest bastards that I could ever have served with but I wouldn't dare have switched to another brigade other than them." Argus then asked about his grandchildren. The old gentleman already had a wide smile, but at the mention of his descendants, his smile widened even more and there was a spark of life behind the old man's bespectacled eyes. "No issue, Argus. No issue. I would say that this year would make me..." The old man begins to mutter to himself and uses both sets of fingers before nodding in satisfaction. "...about 353 years old? More or less." The old man states nonchalantly, not even considering that such an age would be impossible for a human being. He then produced a worn leather wallet and opened it to reveal dozens of photographs. "Back to the matter of my descendants..." He rambles and gushes for approximately twenty five minutes regarding his grandchildren and the fact that he was there to meet the newest member of the family tree. "The handsome young lad's name is James. Brilliant isn't it? I can't wait to meet him and reconnect with the family." Argus asks about George. "Nothing really wrong with him. A little too chatty for a grown man like himself, but I do enjoy spending time with him." The old man replies honestly, as if he didn't realize that George was not alive, or for that matter, a rotting animated cadaver.

"I didn't realize the US had been involved with Galliopli, then again history never has been my strong suit. We served with second infantry in Afghanistan; been back for... maybe five years now?" the djinn waited patiently as Bradley attempted to figure out his age, "Over three centuries? That can't be right, unless you're not as human as you look. I don't have much room to talk, though; considering I'm pushing two and a half." The red haired agent simply smiled and nodded, allowing the elderly man to go on about his family, "Does your family know that you're... still alive?" Argus spoke calmly and slowly, attempting not to alarm Bradley with his inquiry. This was the point of no return for their investigation - ideally the aging necromancer would let himself be taken in peacefully. "Would you excuse us a moment? I need to have a word with Richard."

"No issue. No issue. That war is in the past and the only thing we should remember is that we best learn what we can from it to avoid any more senseless waste of life." The man's seemingly eternal cheery demeanor breaks for a second as he looks at his own hands with sorrow. This moment only lasts a second or two as he looks back at the two agents standing before him. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Argus." He sniggers slightly. "But it is true. I'm not like regular people, you see." He leans in towards Argus and Richard to whisper to them. "I'm actually a wizard, but I'm sure you two had figured that out. It does take one to know one and I can feel that your auras are different from normal people as well; especially yours, Argus." As Argus asked if his family knew if he was alive and it was the dijin's turn to be gawked at by the man as if he were the strange one. "Of course they know I'm alive. Why do you think they sent me this letter to see young James?" He brings out an aged and yellowed piece of paper and shows that, Indeed the letter was inviting him to see his new descendant...but it was dated over forty years ago.

Richard looks to his senior and speaks his mind on the situation. "Your initial assessment proved to be true, Argus. Bradley isn't some sort of necromancer seeking to jump-start the end of civilization here. He is telling the truth when he is saying that he just came to the city to visit his descendant. He just doesn't realize that he is four decades too late to meet the new born." He lets out a small sigh through his nostrils. "Maybe...maybe we can just ask him to come with us to the bureau and tell him that we can help him find his family? He seems harmless enough to be registered as a supernatural. Hell there are more dangerous faeries registered in the bureau database than Bradley."

"Excuse us a moment, Bradley." Argues noted as he stepped aside with Richard so they could talk out the plan, "I can smell mental deterioration a mile away. He's not evil, just senile; maybe Alzheimers setting in. Feel bad for the poor guy honestly," the Djinn sighed, shaking his head "He seems so excited to meet his new baby grandson and he's gonna turn up to a grown adult." the agent's usual demeanor briefly failing, "Here's what we do. I tell him he's too late, you mention we've got friends who can help him find the kid if he's willing to come with us. He seems to trust us so he shouldn't put up too much fight. We explain the situation, get him registered." he glanced over at Bradley briefly to ensure the wizard hadn't wandered off, "Once he's been registered and cleared I can pull a few strings and we make sure he gets where he's going safely. If we get lucky the family kept up the magic act and we can talk them into taking care of him. If not, we find somewhere safe for him to stay."

He waited to hear Richard's response before returning to Bradley,

"What were we talking about?" he asked, snapping his fingers, "Right, you're a wizard. I smelled the magic from across the cemetery. You could say I've got a nose for the stuff." the Djinn tapped his nose and smiled, "Of course, I'm more of a lizard than A wizard; but I digress." he leaned forward to take a closer look at the letter and confirm the date, "I hate to be the bearer of bad news Bradley, but that letter is dated over 40 years ago. It might be too late to meet the new grandbaby."

"That can't be possibly true...can it?" Bradley asks, he keeps the happy demeanor but there is doubt in his eyes. "What Argus said is true. Its the year 2018." Richard tries to explain to the elderly man. The smile fades from the older man's face and he begins to panic. "What? No no no. Impossible. I got this letter only a few months ago!" He cradles his head in his hands shaking his head side to side muttering nonsense to himself as he tries to find reason in this situation. From the stress he was experiencing, he unconsciously amplified the magics that kept the zombies that surrounded them animated. The baring of teeth and glares turned into visible gnashing of teeth and violent jerking of limbs. The aggression that Richard only faced was now equally distributed between the three living beings present. Pouring any more magical energies into these walking corpses would likely cause them to go berserk and attack indiscriminately until destroyed. "Sir, please calm down! We can still help you find your family...but, please listen to me, you need to calm down."

Griffin glared at the other man. Detaining the man meant admitting that they hadn't been able to get the information that they needed. He could use his powers. Technically that wasn't against the law but it the man was a supernatural creature, which they pretty much determined that he was, it could be viewed as an attack. Unfortunately him attacking a supernatural creature without cause could get their case thrown out. He didn't think that was likely to happen. They had probable cause.

"Detain him Astra. He is being uncooperative. We have a potentially dangerous shapeshifter who is stealing human lives. We need to protect everyone from being who endanger others." Griffin didn't like it he was almost sure that the man was a shifter. He decided that he had had enough. He took out a silver coin out of his pocket. He hadn't wanted to test without cause but the shop owner was hiding something. "On second thought. Hang on a minute."

Seeing the coin the own growled. He picked up the cash register and throw it at Astra. Griffin jumped over the counter to reach the other man. The shop owner tried to run but shifters weren't much faster than the humans they had once been so Griffin was able to grab him. He bared his teeth at the man. "You are under arrest for assaulting two federal agents and taking the life of a human."

"Bradley, we can help you, but you need to stay with me. Think about this rationally." the Djinn explained, keeping his voice as calm as possible, "The year is 2018, and that letter is dated for 1976. Your grandson James is all grown up now, but you can still meet him. He might even have kids of his own now, wouldn't you still like to meet them?" Argus crouched down in front of Bradley, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "We work for an agency specialized in helping people like you, people with magical abilities. We can track down James and his family and take you to them; but you need to calm down first, and come with us." The senior agent glanced over at Richard briefly, "There are several zombies in this area animated by your magic, and you being stressed out is agitating them. We need you to calm down so they don't hurt anyone, okay?" he asked, lowering his voice to a whisper, "You don't want them to hurt anyone, do you Bradley?"

As the golem woman approached the man to detain him she paused as Griffin asked her to do, but his statement confused her. How can an individual grasp a concept like time with one's hands? Chronomancers were capable of manipulating time but she was sure they were not cable of physically grasping time itself. "Griffin, it is physically impossible for me to grasp tim-" Before she could finish her reply to the Vampire agent, the store owner snarled at Griffin as he produced a silver coin before tossing the cash register at her head, and with a loud clang, the heavy metal object collided with her rock hard head. Yet her body barely budged an inch. The force behind the cash register was no joke as the shifter tossed it at her with ease, but simply she was made of sterner stuff. Literally. At best the force slightly nudged her head a couple inches to the right. Readjusting her gaze on the suspect, Griffin had pinned the man down successfully but seemed to forget to narrate the suspect's rights. She approached the two on the ground and begins to cuff the shifter's hands and activating the runes on the cuffs to seal and weaken the suspect. "Suspect, You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided to you by the government." She then looks to Griffin and raises a thumb pointing upwards. The scientists and her handlers explained to her that the gesture meant good work and she wanted to praise the vampire agent's good work.

@Phantomlink959
The old man looked at Argus. Fear, confusion, and anxiety filled his eyes. "Ye-yes. Yes, please; I beg of you. I have to meet the family...so late already...so very late." Argus lays a hand on his shoulder trying to reassure him, but the man flinches at the touch. Argus then explains that he and Richard are here to help. The old man nods vigorously as he tries to control his breathing and calm down. "Nononononono. I don't want to hurt anyone. I've hurt enough people in the war. So tired of hurting...I just want to go home." The zombies seemed to significantly lessen their aggression, but Richard was still weary of them. What Argus was doing was effective but Richard didn't want to be caught unaware if the zombies suddenly do attack. He already muttered a silent prayer to produce a holy light to counter the zombies, the only thing he needed to do now is channel the mana to produce it. Though he held his action, the zombies were still passive and there was no need to agitate the situation.

"Alright Bradley. We're gonna take you back to back to our HQ. We've got the resources there to find James, and I think we can do something to help your memory too." The djinn explained calmly, standing up and offering a hand to help the old man, "That's why we do what we do, make sure everyone is safe; nobody gets hurt." The Djinn prepares to lead the elderly wizard to the car, pausing briefly, "You clean up here Richard, I'll get the old man settled into the car. Don't forget to kill the ward; leave the totems though, we might need to set up a field here again."

"I know i have tried staying away from society feeling like i havnt had need to interact or contribute to it since my father has always remained hidden and kept hatred towards it but my mother always said the world may seem mean but once you find your place it really isnt that bad." She commented scratching the back of her head befotr continuing with her thought. "I have watched from the sewers and walked amongest the rain and it's interesting to see the difference in society when weather is involved. To be honest just accepting the director's request to join this world made me really want to keep hidden but honestly it was best for me to trust my wants and not memories that are my own."she said

"I hope to learn new things on my own expriences then what I have learned through my books and television." She added scratching her arm. She watched him reach across her for the GPS. She flattened her stoumach to make it easier for him to mess with the device. Once he pulled his arm away her stoumach remained to a more natural shape.

The shadow behind the director rippled and Gin hoped out of it and a second later was followed by Digi then the shadow looked normal again. Gin looked at the director and spoke in a buisness like tone and held out her hand
“Hi I’m Gin Cain I’m an agent from the UK magical government"
Gin then looked at Digi who looked confused for a moment then realized what she was supposed to do then Digi said "Oh! sorry I’m E_” *Gin turned to glare at Digi for a moment then Digi corrected herself "sorry I’m Digi Chiptune"
"She’s my new apprentice" said Gin "I assume you are the director of The Bureau of Supernatural Affairs?"

Griffin nodded when she read the suspect his rights. He should have thought about that as the senior leader but he hadn't so it was a good thing that Astra had. He followed her to the car to make sure that she was able to get the subject into the vehicle without any problems. Not that was a big concern. Astra was clearly a better agent than he was. Hell she was better than most agents. There was very little that she couldn't do. Her interaction with humans and understanding of them needed work but beyond that she was exactly what the bureau needed. "I will see you at headquarters." He told her once she had the suspect in the vehicle. Then he headed to his motorcycle.
@digichiptune
"We don't get many apprentices here. While you are her teacher Gin I am in charge. I do not approve of nickname, codenames, or even abbreviated names. Especially when I have no explanation why they are necessary. If you want to work here I will need to know her name and why she is going by another." The director told them. He crossed his arms over his chest while he studied them. They weren't impressive as far as witches went. He wasn't sure how useful they would be. They were both very young.

Digi is new to this as she is from America originally and generally new to the UK magic community for security reasons I can't give you our given names. I'm also required by the law specifically for The Magic Government employees"
