It just crossed my mind, but as an animated inanimate object, should Salem be immune to Light's hugs, or is it something that operates on a 'as long as it's sentient'-basis? I think it might be cool if these two got along because Salem was immune (either because he's an inanimate object or because the uncanny valley and cognitive dissonance means zip to a mannequin), but I didn't want to underpower Light's abilities without your permission, and especially if you wanted part of her character arc to involve the loneliness that her maddening touch brings.

@Stern Algorithm Sentient, so it'd still work. But again, her power is lessened against allies considerably, so if he likes the slight whispers he hears, then thats A OK. Thats mental resistance xD.

I should let people know they recover sanity when not around Light, its not a permanent affliction unless your sanity bottoms out.

Since us swedes for some arbitrary reason have it in our heads that you celebbrathe Xlatmas on the 24th, rather than the 25th like every other country in the world, I'll be going shortly to my old man's house. Stuff my face with food, prtend to make pleasant small-talk with his girlfriend, hand out some Xaltmas presents and get a T-shirt in return, then come back home in the afternoon.

Not that I think my absence will be much noted, but just in case you're wondering why I'm not here for 14 hours straight today - that's why.

Regardless, Merry Xaltmas all you lovely pagans! I'll see you in a few hours again~

A lot of Americans celebrate it on both the 24th and the 25th, actually. A double-holiday, if you will.

In my family we open the presents on Christmas Eve and then mostly just have family time on Christmas day, though this year did a lot of that on the 24th too. But ya, the 24th and 25th often just kinda get mashed together in a sense. Eh its America so each family has their own traditions to follow. Personally opening the presents on Christmas Eve just seems a bit more magical.

It's been... a long, goddamn week. Holidays can be the best or worst times in food service. And, Christmas week's choosing to be shitty. I'll spare the gory details, though, and get to the point. As it's my last day for the week, I should be able to start the collab in earnest between tonight and tomorrow.

With my latest post, I'm introducing the realization of something Brushen Penn did when in the game, as a result of Penn's own character flaws. People do all sorts of things in games since they're not real, but in a setting like this the echoes such actions can be dire.

@Rockin StringsYou're a level 50 shadow demon-person who just launched a fieball at half-a-diozen cultsist who thought they outnumbered you, wearing no particularly magic gear and then pulling 50 goblins out of your ass and surrounding them in an instant. Of course it'd be easy. xD
It's like playing an RTS's Tutorial and maxing out your population cap before going to the one, singular battle on the map. :P

Lol @ Mamoru snapping that bro's spine though. More lols at his loss of control over his bladder and/or rectum... xD

Now to wait for Kath to come up with the brilliant and logical next move of the duo! After all, Ashara has no clue what Rodias wants them to do in the village, apart from looking and poking around and seeing what its like... 8D
