Spidey's disappearance is a great opportunity tbh, regardless of how long it lasts. and i know, right? I'm so glad this RP just came back to life. It really is a comic book- the death didn't stick.

@Pirouette a quick character note - the President's identity as Superman is a well-kept secret from the nation and especially Washington's political elite.

It's not a massive deal, but I just wanted to clarify in case it affects anything around your character, or you brought it up IC when no one's supposed to know.

Otherwise, loving all the event posts guys! It's great to see the activity begin to rise again. I'm working on something with Frank to pick him back up in Manhattan, and spinning my planning cogs for Batman.

The question remains, however...what are you looking for from a Batman/Bruce Wayne in this setting? What weight does he carry in your stories, and what arcs and character moments are needed from him? MB was approaching an old Batman grappling with the physical and mental consequences of aging, and I'm not against a Batman who is significantly more progressed in his vigilante career.


Apologies for the late response!

My version of Tim is currently at a crossroads where he's either going to continue his life as a vigilante and build himself up to being more of a larger figure within the city such as Batman himself or move away from the vigilante lifestyle altogether in lieu of helping the world in other ways. As such, I guess I need a Batman who's prepared to give out some good ol' fatherly advice. Also, one who's hopefully ok with having Tim going around playing with the Batfamily computer network constantly.

A bit of a longer post, but really trying to make Cindy's first appearance riddled with mistakes and her learning as she goes. As well as explaining how she isn't completely clueless.

Kind of wish I started her story differently, maybe several posts detailing her school, studies, and her spider training. Instead I am jamming an origin story in like, 3 posts lol

I'll be honest, I haven't read your Fate stuff so no idea what's going on there with Xavier, but with Doc gone and Bounce and I in charge of X-Men stuff, I'd say you're good to wrap up whatever you need to with Xavier so you can continue with your story. I was imagining that it would have taken place at the X-Institute, so I think maybe having one of the dedicated X-Men players help me out with it would be appreciated. To my knowledge, there are no longer any players with a member of the X-Men as their character. Bounce and I are playing Xavier students on their journey to junior X-Men status. Doc dropped Xavier awhile ago, before our recent revival, and I wouldn't expect him or anyone else to pick Xavier back up. Your planned extended storyline may have to be less extended now. So long as you're not doing anything dramatic with Xavier, feel free to use him as an NPC to wrap up your storyline so you can continue with the narrative you'd like to tell. Whatever allows you to get back to writing without worrying about collaborative hangups.

On another note, as usual, I failed to post by the intended date I set. Decided to scrap my post entirely and start anew. My weekdays are usually busy, but I'm going to carve out some time today and tomorrow after work to get a post finished.

Liked your post! Don't have too much for the Boy to do at the moment so I got a quickie out and passed the ball back to you. Let me know if you want to include any dialogue or back-and-forth in your reply. I figure we can finish up with the rescue with your next post and possibly move on to cleaning up the Chitauri, if you'd be down for that.

Yea we can do that. Trying to wrap my head around how Cindy convinced herself to plunge into battle with a bunch of aliens.

Iirc they're dealing with the Chitauri in Brooklyn meanwhile the dominator ship.is above Manhattan. @Lord Wraith can correct me if I'm wrong
