To my knowledge, I've only rode once in the back of an ambulance in my life. I don't remember the events but apparently I had a grand mal seizure in the middle of a parking lot when I was young.

I'm a very apt Texas Hold 'Em Poker Player. The nickname I earned at the tables was 'The Roach' because I kept going all in an underdog hands and wouldn't die. I love the game and was invited to play at a regular game at the local American Legion, which has been a blast hearing stories and moving chips around.

I've been thinking a lot here lately, about this boy I used to know, and the question he always seemed to ask me.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Surgeon. Nurse. Chef. Artist. Mother. Teacher. Writer. Guitar player. Surfer. Baker. Philosopher. A thousand possibilities.

But I guess the real answer is that I'm just trying to be the person that I didn't have growing up - the person I think a lot of people didn't have when they were younger, really.

I have no idea what I'm actually doing with my life, or where I'm going, or who I'm actually becoming - but I do know that I'm trying to be more and more kind each day.

I always sing Anti-hero by Taylor Swift in an Aussie accent, like not a fake exaggerated accent just hpw I would pronounce works day to day. The thing is when I'm singing literally any other song I suppress my accent and it's not like Taylor has an Aussie accent. Idk how or why this came about but it is a curse that I'm stuck with foreber now

Not to sound nihilist, but realistically there is no originality anymore. So with that in mind; just break it away. Do what you want to do anyway and make it your own in your own way. So what if it had been similarly done before; you'll make a new variant of it is all.

I've finally come to the conclusion that I will always be a batshit crazy, barefoot, free spirited, foul mouthed, Southern Applachian child.

I might be goth, or a hippie from time to time - but I'll always default back to the little girl that likes to play in the river.
