This one took a whole day of contemplation. I liked the majority of the sheets I received for this RP, but ultimately I went with what I felt had the dynamic I was looking for. At any rate, I will be working on the IC post over the weekend barring any issues from the Nursing Facility which has been giving me the runaround about my dad's stay there.

But no, you came out with a really good sheet (as did others) and you were quite close. In fact, the final choice ended up being me struggling for four hours deciding between you and ERode. 😅

This looks like it might be a good RP for me to get into. I've not written much in a long time myself, but I have a character idea already that might fit in to this story. i just don't know how to pull that fancy character sheet template everyone else has been using. if someone can run me through it, I'll see what I can come up with, unless it's just as simple as copying and pasting it.

oh! such a shame! I guess I was a little too late huh. Didn't realize it had already been started, well it'd be nice to work on a character but doesn't make much sense if they aren't taking on anyone else.

Unfortunately, I think ten players is pushing it on my abilities returning to the hobby, but I do appreciate the loads of interest I have gotten for this. Makes me feel happy I guess.

Certainly not my best opening post, but I think it gets across what I want to do. I wasn't going to bed with it unfinished. I will have more info for various lore soon and respond to inquiries (and posts) in a timely fashion. I hope y'all enjoy. There are still some considerations I need to get into with a few players, but otherwise I think its pretty easy to plug and play here. I recommend either starting at entering the proving grounds, or if you like the sound of your own voice as you enter the city. I will advance the scene in due time as I don't want us to linger in the opening act for too long.

Really enjoying reading this, but like... How long does it take you to write each response? It takes me over an hour to hit 300 words, including my drafting, proofreading, cross-referencing, revising...

These are long, long posts. How do you manage to do so much without manipulating other characters, or stifling their players? Whenever I write more than 4 paragraphs I feel like I'm doing too much in one post and I need to cut it back to let others respond.

Do you send your responses accepting that large parts of your post simply won't be addressed as other players perform their characters in incongruent ways? Do you just trust each other to read everything multiple times and look for stepping stones to your next posts?

Sorry for all the questions (especially as I'm not even playing) but I'm just getting back into RP and these longer posts have always fascinated me, and I'd like to do it myself, but I want to do it in a way that's considerate, where I've always found myself becoming domineering.

Anyway, again, I'm enjoying the read. Great work, really.
