Quite a few stories I've really been enjoying. It's bittersweet that @Half Pint is hanging up the cape and cowl because I've been enjoying the reimagined Burtonverse Batman but I'm also really excited for this new Fantastic Four. I'm assuming the Batman story was heading towards a Two-Face origin story and all the fun that comes with that, so it would have been good to see that play out but I also understand how sometimes you get a couple posts in and find out its not your preferred fit.

@Master Bruce's Spider-Man and @Bounce's Aquaboy have both been a lot of fun to read, with snappy dialogue and a good pace. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of both of those.

@Cyrania's Martian Manhunter has been pretty solid so far, though I am intrigued to see where it goes. Not usually a character I'd give a second thought to, so kudos for making me care about Martians.

I've also found myself thoroughly enjoying @King Kindred's teenage Thor and look forward to more of the mythical side being explored, along with Thor's heritage and coming to realize who he truly is.

@Ezekiel's Warbird, @Supermaxx's Punisher, @Sep's BB & Nova, and @Roman's Constantine are all off to a very strong start. If you haven't taken the time to read them yet, I suggest you do.

Couple who haven't posted yet but I'm looking forward to reading are @Hound55's Captain America and @Hillan's Orion. I'm very intrigued by both sheets and know the capabilities of both writers, so I look forward to seeing what they're cooking up.

Thank you! I plan on getting up a new post today.

I've been really enjoying Clark's story so far from both the Earth and Knowhere side. The Guardians of the Galaxy aspect reminds me of Superboy's adventures with the Legion of Superheroes before he becomes Superman so I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take it.

I didn't even think of that, but yeah, I can see the parallels.

I'd also commented to someone that I was enjoying the Burton approach, but they'd said they found it more like Keaton cast in Nolan's films in terms of the style. Either way, its been fantastic.

I believe the Joker was what Half was working toward, as we had been discussing cross-overs where Bruce would be part of Jason's battle with Violator and then Jason was going to feature when Bruce took on the Joker, along with possibly folding in Gowi's Dinah.

I'll have to re-cast for the Violator plot maybe. It'll be a full Rocky Horror Picture Show affair, with nunjas.

I've really been enjoying everything, but particularly the OOC more so as we've started to settle into the concept of a shared space and discuss how we can each make use of the same story elements in telling our individual stories to weave them closer together. Like you, I'm more curious about seeing some really cool concepts that we haven't seen join the IC yet, particularly what @Taka has teased cooking up. Not to mention @Mao Mao's Genosha. That's a bold design that I'm really curious to see how they approach and tell that story.

Plus, I'm here for the Wraith/Sep and Supermaxx/Roman banter. In many respects, the IC is just the icing on the cake.

And whoever is writing the Smallville fanfic is 'aight, I guess. 67 as Arthur would say.

I'm still trying to sort out what skibidi means. Not literally, but more so how its actually used in language.

It means 'random' and can be used basically 1:1 in place of that word. The random penguin is now the skibidi toilet.

Hmmm, I have a different vision for Charles, maybe he's mid 30's and the academy isn't super established, but it's there! Maybe a touch more so than in First Class

(I can't remember the events of the 2nd one other than Evan Peters I'm afraid. I had even forgotten wor Kevin Bacon had already played Sebastian Shaw ffs).

We could strike a balance between our visions. One where the academy was forced to shut down in the '80s/'90s under political pressure due to a moral panic against mutants, then it reopened (idk if that's the correct term to use) in the 2010s in response to the anti-mutant hysteria of the time (already established by Bounce) and a rise in homelessness of young mutants.

As for age, I was afraid of addressing it in its entirety on my sheet, not gonna lie lol. We could just easily say, "technically, Charles and Magneto are almost a hundred years old, but have the looks, the physical, and the body of 40/50/60-year-olds."

Thoughts so far?

I'm really intrigued by the story line you're building about the Kryptonians. Them being this race of ancient, terrifying conquerors is a fun take. Seeing Clark politely interacting with a bunch of unhinged aliens in Knowhere has been fun.

Thank you, I'm just working with a rough outline over here and my love of Smallville, Star Wars, Star Trek and Guardians of the Galaxy.
