Remember the Martian Manhunter Principle: the more powerful the ability, the more common the weakness. Spectrum has the weakness of water, but lives on an island. Stark Crusader is near-unstoppable, but is weakened by clothes. And the two don't have to be related at all.

Yup, for sure. I actually am aiming for a normal guy who keeps his weakness on him at all times because of the horrible, horrible things that happen with his abilities. I'm trying toat leas finish the power before i crash tonight, it's actually be pretty fun to hash out

@Burning Kitty Why not a brand new idea... I know having powers is kind of exciting... But that's why I chose to go the Normal rout... I mean, normies are prety much the minority at this point right? Won't it be interesting for you to explore the world from this angle?

@RegitnuiAlso... I just had a thought... It was mantioned that maybe one day all of us are going to become Epics... Does that mean that for instance Teagan could, in theory, in the future become one too... Because if so... It presents with interesting inner turmoils a character could go through...

I think the normies are definitely in the minority here. There's only like... one, aside from the shareable characters. And that was yours. I'm pretty sure this is the case.

Normals are still the majority. They're less powerful one-on-one, but they still control most of the world. They're also more likely to live longer. Getting into fights with each other over petty disagreements tends to shorten lifespan dramatically. Epic City is largely safe because nobody can challenge the High.

Teagan would probably not become an Epic. However, we can arrange for her to gain the powers of one...

@Polaris North, NPC wise, they outnumber the Epics by about a hundred to one. However, a fight between two moderately powerful Epics or Freaks who don't care about collateral damage could kill tens of people.
