"Like I said this has been a clusterfuck of a mess since I got here. Rookie boy was the first one on the scene." Griffin explained. That's where things had started going down hill. He looked up at the sky. It was midnight. He cursed under his breath. The shadow demon would be at his strongest now. He was about to answer Argus' question when the radio came back on. Griffin cursed when Roger came back on the radio

"Damn rookie is going to get himself hurt." Griffin took off down the sewers. His tracking probably wasn't as good as the Djinn's, especially in the sewer which overwhelmed his nose. He didn't want for the other man even though he probably should have. he was the senior agent. Which meant these people, no matter how naive, were his responsibility. Which meant it was his job to keep them safe no matter what.

Amaya kept following finding the trail to end where the demon was and Richard " He is Injured badly from the amount of blood I am pulling from the water source...He needs treatment for that wound." Said Amaya walking towards the Demon holding up a bubble of the demon's blood "Honestly, I don't think he can even fight without passing out." She added freezing the bubble before sitting the now frozen ball of blood on the floor holding her hands up showing no intent of holding any weapons "We don't want to hurt you...I can take care of that wound...If you will let me."She said gently to mason slowly moving forward "we all have abiltites and specialities just like you...We want to help you..."

"n-no stay away!" Mason's eyes flicked back and forth between them both before he fell forward holding his head as crunching bones was heard and his form began to change and grow. No longer like liquid and more angular in shape with sharp spikes and claws. He was no longer able to fit inside the sewers as he grew the ceiling cracked and groaned. pieces fell down from the ceiling as fractures ran across them. When Mason looked back up he was fully transformed his spikes digging trenches in the walls.

"We should have a talk with Dispatch when we get back to HQ." the Djinn suggested, taking a long draw from his cigarette and swallowing the butt as he prepared to enter the sewers with Griffin; then his radio came to life with Richard's report, "Dammit, no more time for subtlety." Argus set off at a sprint alongside Griffin, his facial features burning away to reveal a reptilian snout with slit eyes under which rested a pair of small pits. He flicked out his newly forked tongue and took a sharp turn to the left, "Griffin, they're this way!" he advised, "Follow my lead and we might reach them in time." the Djinn advised as he followed the God-touched mortal's scent through the labyrinthine sewers.

The closer Argus got to his quarry, the stronger the stench of the shadow demon became, and he mentally prepared himself for a fight when he began to hear the sounds of concrete being torn apart. The Djinn would wait until he had a chance to assess the situation before transforming any further, but he was ready if it came to that.

Richard went wide eyed as he saw the suspect suddenly transform into something far more dangerous than its previous state. From the man sized demon, it had transformed into this colossal mass of spikes and darkness. Richard quickly aimed his pistol and took a couple shots at the shadow demon before raising the radio to speak to Grau and Griffin while backpedaling. "Suspect has transformed! Suspect has transformed!" Richard fires another two rounds. "Currently engaged with the suspect! Requesting back up immediately!" He lowers the radio and quickly glances to the pale woman beside him. "Don't just stand there! Run!" He then practically empties the magazine into the shadow demon at this point.

@Searat Mason's white eyes flickered as the shots hit, he roared in pain it was loud echoing in the twisting maze of tunnels that made up the sewers. The blood that shot out from the bullets going in but not coming out solidified instantly turning into spiked projectiles stabbing into the walls and floor. Mason was going to lose it soon.

"You Moron...the more you fight him the more he is losing it..."Said Amaya to Richard taking up a defensive stance as the river of water beside them began to sway un easy " Please excuse him...let me help you....I can treat your wounds....we want to help you."Said Amaya knowing those words probably mean nothing now that Richard has begun to fight the shadow demon

Mason was paying no mind Amaya, he was fighting to stay in control. Every few seconds Mason's eyes would flicker a deep red before returning white, he turned and tryed to run but it wasn't very effective seeing as he has lost a lot of blood and the spikes on him have stuck into the ceiling. Never the less he tryed to shoulder past Amaya but with each step it was obvious he was in pain and afraid.

"Damnit Richard, get out of there!" Argus growled back over the radio, quickening his pace, "We don't know what that thing is capable of and you're probably the squishiest agent out here." The Djinn reached for his belt when he heard the gunshots, retrieving a fist-sized metal canister with a nozzle and valve on one end, "Stupid monkeys always shooting without thinking..." he stopped in his tracks when he finally reached the demon, sliding to a halt next to Richard as his momentum tried to carry him forward.

"That's a big hedgehog." Argus observed, glancing over at the other agent; trickles of flame rolling across the reptilian flesh of his face as it reverted to the human mask. "You're going to want to take a few steps back Ricky, things are gonna get hot." With his right hand, the agent pressed the fuel can to his lips, rotating the valve with his thumb to release its contents.

Argus' chest expanded noticeably as the compressed fuel filled his mortal shell, and ripples of heat began to roll from his skin as it ignited. The human guise began to peel away from his arms, consumed by a powerful but invisible flame. In a matter of seconds, the human appendages were replaced by thick-scaled reptilian limbs, at the end of which rested four-fingered hands capped with thick bone claws. Narrowing his eyes, he looked between Richard, Amaya, and the shadow demon.

"Run."

What little uv light that came off the Djinn had begun to melt some of the spikes on Mason slightly. He looked back, his eyes went wide as he turned and attempted to run faster Past Amaya.

Griffin did not like that Argus ran past him. He was supposed to be the senior agent but no one was following him. He wondered if any of them gave any thought to how this reflected on them and each other. He doubted. He signed when he saw that Argus had indeed transformed into his original form. But at least the man had waited until he was out of sight.

Once they reached Richard, Griffin grabbed the rookie and pulled him behind the Jhinn. "Were you born without common sense?" He growled as he shoved Richard against a wall well out of the way of the shadow demon. "That is a shadow demon. Your bullets aren't going to do Jackshit to it. Other than royally piss it off. Which you have managed to do. You do not shot a target until you know what kind of bullets to use against it. In this case your light magic would have been alot more effective. So pull yourself together and try that."

Amaya watched the demon run towards her as she sliped part of her foot in the water holding her steady. When he tried passing her she allowed her form to liquify just enough to for him to grow through "Sorry for this...But its for your own good "She said turning herself into ice trapped the parts of the demon inside her ice form

Mason was stopped dead in his tracks before he knew what happened. He looked back and saw part of himself stuck inside the ice. He planted his feet and kept pulling and pulling trying to break free. Seeing that not working he looked around panicking he saw the tears and cracks in the ceiling from his spikes being drug through it forcefully. He started clawing and tearing at the wall he could reach trying to cause part of the ceiling to cave in where he was to separate them.

"Stop...."Said Amaya allowing small ices of ice to waterfy and move along his entrapped part from the water moving around her foot "I am here...to help..."She said gently allowing the ice to form and grow a bit faster and thicker. She winced feeling parts of the rock hit her body "guys if your going to stop him you better do it soon or im going to have to encase and I would prefer not to.."She said to the other agents

The fear addled mind of Richard was snapped back into reality as soon as Griffin slammed into the wall. 'What the bloody hell was I thinking?' Richard grimaced, realizing he acted instinctively again without thinking. Taking his senior agent's words to heart, Richard uttered a prayer that summoned multiple chains made of pure light that wrapped around the limbs of the shadow demon. Hoping that it would be enough to restrain, or even slow down the gigantic shadow demon.

Noticing the demon's panicked state and apparent injury when he transformed, Argus took a few steps back towards Richard, noting Griffin's arrival at the scene; those close to the Djinn would be able to feel the intense heat radiating from his core. "Sorry for running off ahead boss, but I figured you wouldn't be far behind." he admitted, keeping an eye on the shadow demon as it attempted to escape past an unfamiliar woman who smelled strongly of river water. "I know I'm not supposed to transform without permission from the senior agent on the case but we're way past keeping ourselves secret at this point." he apologized, looking away from the demon and towards Griffin.

"We need to keep this thing in the sewers without hurting it anymore, long enough to get a properly equipped containment vehicle on site. We can't risk triggering any more transformations." he advised, shifting his focus to Richard, "There's a chance trapping it between several sources of light strong enough to hurt it might start weakening it."

Right about then, the woman froze a portion of the shadow demon into a block of ice. "Damnit, does nobody around here pay attention to context clues? Get away from that thing before you piss it off any worse!" he shouted at her, "Starting to see what you meant Griff. We have GOT to train these people better before sending them into the field." he stared at the woman, sniffing the air, "Who are you anyways, lady? I didn't think we had any of your kind on staff." he said, an obvious hint of disdain in his voice.

As the demon started to struggle and claw at the already weakened sewer walls, Argus could smell fear underneath the thick demonic stench. "Get away from that thing now! Freeze the walls and ceiling once you're to a safe distance, then create an ice mirror in front of yourself and Griffin!" he ordered the woman, watching as Richard conjured chains of holy light in an attempt to further restrain the creature. "Richard, prepare the strongest burst of holy light you can charge up and fire it on my signal."

Mason watched as the ice slowly grew more solid, he began to try and get away more frantically. Continuing to claw at the walls until the chains wrapped around his limbs. The second they made contact with the spikes and solid parts of his body they began to sizzle and melt into him reverting parts of his arms and legs into the tar like substance. He yet again howled in pain as forcing that to happen hurt, it burned.... His white eyes flickered out the only light now coming from the chains which is being slowly covered in the tar like substance. He stopped moving...

Griffin flinched when Argus started lighting up. While the UV rays were not strong. He could feel them weakening him. Damn it the Djinn had a good plan but it wasn't one he asks going to be able to help with. As much as he hated it he was going to have to leave Argus in charge. Atleast the man seemed to know what he was doing. Hopefully things would go better once he left. He moved further back once Roger activated his able.

"I need to pull back. The demon isn't the only who is weakened by your plan. Radio when you have the demon contained or if he escapes." He told the others. Roger's power had a stronger effect on him because of its holy nature. While he wasn't a demon his people were on the darker side and holy objects and powers effected them. As much as he wanted to stay and made sure that they were all safe it was better if he didn't.

As Argus dispelled the human guise across his entire body, revealing his true form in totality, a veritable wall of invisible heat burst away from his form. "Griffin, when you get to the surface call HQ, have them send out a prisoner transport van equipped with a class A magic suppression charm and UVC lights." the Djinn requested, his voice reverberating through the tunnels now that his full power had been unleashed.

With a roar, a gout of barely-visible flame gushed from Argus' mouth, unleashing the entirety of the liquid hydrogen fuel he had consumed in a torrent of scorching heat and ultraviolet radiation directed towards the shadow demon. As Argus ejected the burning fuel, his human shell reformed around his true Djinn body and he fell to the ground on his knees; panting and looking unusually pale. The Djinn reached into his freshly reformed jacket pocket, pulling out a block of charcoal and crushing it in his hand before dumping the contents into his mouth; after a few seconds, the color returned to his face and he stood up to examine the results of his attack. "Everybody okay?" he asked, still panting.

The trail and blood mixture around shadow suddenly spiked up as it felt the heat. It blocked some but not all of the attack burning up its side leaving a mark of melted tar and blood, shadow dropped the wall showing its eyes blood red "heheheHAh, those tricks may have worked on that insolent panicked fool, but Mason isn't home at the moment." the right side of shadows face had been melted down to the point that it's teeth could be seen black blood glistening off them. "Now, time to rid myself of this cold annoyance" it said right before it went to bite down on Amaya.
