Honestly, I think it's still a good thing that we're keeping everyone at one character apiece. Having to split focus and energy between multiple characters usually ends up spelling disaster, especially for players as ADHD as I am. As much as my imagination loves to run off with all these ideas for different characters beyond the one I'm currently playing, I really need to just keep my eyes on the prize.

You and me are basically the same person in this regard. Maximum Comics II probably failed because I overextended myself to too many and then life caught up with me. I think I was running one GM event character and five POVs on top of that. It was fun for all of half-a-month. I'm actually really glad I'm forced to focus here.

How did you know I was going to push Kara, tho?

I'll apply just to spite you.
And turn her into the descendant of an ancient, Atlantean wizard.

Psh. Terrible retcon origin of the late 80's and 90's > young, genius, alien orphan.
Clearly, there'd be no choice but to accept this superior concept.

I think I'd quit role-playing for a good while if this happened!

Hopes people understand the reference and that this isn't genuinely a concept from my mind.

I agree for the most part, but I do day dream should the day happen haha

Ant-Wasp is pretty good, BTW. I think I prefer it to the first.

So it remains the more refreshing side of the MCU. Nice.

Hey, since we already did Gwen and Mary-Jane, can we do Lana and Lois?

....in what context?

EDIT: Assuming you mean in the "which do you like better" context, and not the "hey everyone I wrote a sex scene" context, it's Lois in a heartbeat. Lana Lang, much like an awful lot of Superman's supporting cast really, is an add-on, an optional character who can add extra context to Clark's life (especially in his early days), but isn't necessarily critical. On the other hand, as we saw with his unfortunate New 52 incarnation, Superman straight-up does not work without Lois Lane. Yes, when she's written poorly, her type-A personality goes from 'strong-willed and confident' to 'scary bitch,' but having someone who has a strong enough spirit to impress and bewilder even the Man of Steel is integral to Clark's connection to humanity.

It also helps that Lois has pretty much always been the same basic person since Day One-- the details change and the finer points of her personality differ, but since the word go Lois has always been a fearless spitfire reporter. Lana, on the other hand, is all over the place in her incarnations, sometimes just the earnest girl-next-door, sometimes a savvy business mogul, sometimes a famous supermodel, whatever the hell was going on with her in Smallville, etc. Every time she shows up, there's really no telling who she's going to be.

I have my own ideas of who Lana is going to be in this RP, but in the general sense, Lois wins in an easy walk.

Now, if we're talking about that other context.....I mean, I'm not saying I'll do it, but I'm also not saying I won't.....
