The beautiful brunette reluctantly shook his hand. With amusement, he watched his bigger hand envelope her smaller hand. "Terry," She replied. "Um, yeah actually. Did anyone else make stuff fly randomly?"

"Nice name, fair maiden." He replied with a grin. "Is it just Terry, or is that short for something?" He listened to her, then smirked. "Nah, mate. But I did have some weird experiences with water. Does that count?" The younger girl spoke up ,and with that, Sage turned to face her.

He listened to Tia's introduction, then her explanation of the hospital. The story was quite peculiar. How could needles mess up like that? It wasn't normal and it was in fact, abnormal. He shook his head, sighing. "Well," He said as he gazed at the younger girl. "Sorry to hear about your experience at the hospital, but it's nice to meet you." He then added, "When I was in the hospital, the fluids kept either randomly disappearing, or appearing. It was the craziest thing. Sometimes the water would be cold, then it would warm up. It confused the heck out of the doctors. To be frank, it was hilarious, yet freaky."

Just then, the bus stopped, and a man with dark hair, deep set blue eyes, and olive skin, walked onto the bus. Sage stared for a moment, then raised an eyebrow. He couldn't be older than twenty-five or so. Was this an instructor of theirs? As if on cue, the man began to speak.

"Hello. My name is Xander and I'll be an instructor at your new home. You're all five minutes away from Darkwood Academy, a school for special beings. You all have a potentially dangerous ability that sets you apart from the rest of society so we have taken the liberty of bringing you here to learn how to control that ability. Please stay seated and hold any questions until I permit you to do so. Upon arrival, I will explain a few rules and you will head into the building. There you will receive a dorm number, a set of rules and thus be guided to the cafeteria for some breakfast."

Sage eyed Tia and Terry, and he raised an eyebrow. This guy was ripped. He was beginning to wonder what kind of academy they were going to and if all of the instructors were like this. He sighed, leaning back, then waved his hand and said, "Ello, mate."

Just then, the bus doors opened once more, and the sound of gunshots pierced the air. Sage jumped and inhaled sharply, his eyes widening. He glanced around at the buildings, which were precipitated and run down. There was dead grass as well as leaves scattered across the ground. Stop signs were torn off and had been strewn around the neighborhood. There was a series of gunshots, then a piercing silence. He felt his heart jump and wondered who the hell they were picking up. Was it some gangster? He didn't have to wait long, because there was a shadow, and then a silhouette faintly outlined on the bus.

A girl with long, straight auburn hair walked onto the bus, wearing a black tank top with a gold skull, leather black pants, spiky combat books, and fingerless leather gloves. On top of her head was a black beanie, and a black hoodie. She took off the hoodie and shook her head, fixing her beanie which had slid off of her head. Sage saw a bit of lace in the back of her tank top and slits, and that she was wearing gold jewelery. Why it had slits, was beyond him. Her arms were also bulked with muscle, but in this area, it didn't seem out of the ordinary. But she was so little, that it was almost comical. Finally, she looked up and smiled sweetly. "Hi!"
_______________________________________

Willow eyed the students on the bus, then looked up at Xander. She had heard the introduction and hadn't immediately walked onto the bus yet so she hadn't interrupted. "Hi," she greeted friendlily. "How are you?"She ducked underneath his arm. White wings were faintly visibly against her back, but only faintly. She glanced around and looked outside, hearing more gunshots. "The harmonious sound of gunshots," She mumbled with a sigh. Willow sat down, biting her lip. That had to be Rowan's group. As if on cue, her phone began to vibrate. Will took it out and glanced at the ID and shook her head. He would call her now, when she was on the bus with the new students and what appeared to be her instructor. Why could he not take no for a darn answer? She wasn't interested. All she could think was that this wouldn't be a good first impression. Then again, she could be a loner again. She wouldn't mind too much...

Embarrassed, she sat as close to the window as she could and turned her back to the window and hit ignore. The phone went silent, then began to vibrate again. Willow could have groaned. She hit ignore once more and set it to silent and put it back in her pocket. She'd deal with that another time. Willow shut her eyes and kept periodically glancing at Xander, then away. Some murmurs from around her caught her attention.

"Is this girl a thug?" A girl whispered. "She looks like she's in a gang."
"Maybe. She seems like a leader." A boy responded back.
Willow looked up, annoyance rising. The duo were behind her, yet were unable to keep their whispers quiet. She cleared her throat loudly and looked over the top of her seat down at them. "Excuse me." She said, eying them. "But it's not nice to talk about others, especially when they're around. Do you mind keeping it down, please?" Then, pausing, she considered expanding it, and decided to. She didn't want to be known as the thug or gangster. "And if I was very well in a gang or was a thug, it wouldn't be smart to talk about me like that now would it?"

Willow sat back down, unable to keep a slight smirk off their face at their incredulous expressions. She then folded her hands and leaned against her chair, satisfied at their silence.

A Fatboy 1999 edition rolled onto the school grounds, its engine was turned off and sputtered out as it was parked and its kick stand put into place. Its rider a tall teenager with long dark hair wearing a leather jacket with a hoodie over the top of it, a pair of blue jeans and boots as well. He pulled his pack off the back of the bike and walked to the front door, he opened it and walked inside finding the office. He sat down inside and received a shady look from the woman working the front desk, she reached for her telephone and he made out the numbers 9-1-1 being pressed and quickly stood up and walked over to the phone and hung it up. The woman looked at him in fear and he proceeded to explain the situation.

"I applied here over the phone," He said his Russian accent somewhat noticeable " Mikhail Arkaden, 17 years old. I believe I gave a description of both myself and my means of transportation."

As he said this he gestured to both himself and his motorcycle which could clearly be seen through the window. The woman smiled somewhat embarrassed and apologized, she asked him to excuse her for a moment as she walked into a room labeled Administrator. After a minute or so the woman came out and told him to go inside, as he walked past she gave him a look over once again as he walked inside. He saw a somewhat pudgy man with a goatee glasses and suit reading some file at his desk, he briefly looked up and pointed pen towards a chair on the opposite side of his desk. Mikhail took a seat and stared at the file the man was reading, he eventually made out his name in the file and understood what was happening. The pudgy man was reviewing his record and his previous schooling, he on occasion made a funny face at the paper as though he were unhappy with what it was telling him. Eventually he closed the file and looked up at Mikhail.

"Why should I let you in?" The man said, it was clear he didnt intend on letting Mikhail in but Mikhail had a negotiation technique.

"My mother worked a good portion of her life to get me here," Mikhail began "I intend on getting into this school one way or the other. Its up to you if you choose the rewarding way or the way where I start a law suit."

"Continue," The man said clearly intrigued by Mikhail's little show. Mikhail took his backpack over his shoulder and unzipped it then grabbed it by the bottom of the bag and dumped it onto the table, a waterfull of green paper fell onto the table tied together by rubber bands, some rolled together some in stacks some loose bills. The pudgy man smile faded into a look of pure shock and ecstacy, he noticed Mikhail watching him and attempted to recover his refined persona.

"So you want in?" The fat man said skeptically picking up a roll of money, "This might be enough, but you'll need to allow me to take some profit from this. You understand of course? A school administrator makes only so much a year..."

Mikhail's smug grin faded and he slammed his fist into the table and looked the man directly into the eyes, "Dont you dare play that card here, This is all the money my mother raised before she died, you know this is well enough to get me into the school and some more for yourself... So if you plan on scamming me think again. I want in and I don't want think you want me to take my money and leave."

The fat man looked at Mikhail and then at the money contemplating his next move, he reached into his desk drawer and pulled out a stamper. After moving some of the money aside he found Mikhail's file and opened it once more, he stamped it and the words scrawled across the top were 'Approved' Mikhail smiled and slung his now near empty backpack over his shoulder and walked out. The receptionist looked at him again as he walked out of the mans office and over to her desk.

"What can I do for you?" She said in a cheery tone. Mikhail looked at her and she smiled up at him, he began explaining how he needed a class schedule. The woman typed away at her computer ever so often throwing him a smile, he waited for near 30 minutes and in that time went out to check his bike. He walked across the gravel floor and went over to his bike and pulled a picture from his saddle bag and looked at the face of his mother and his own, he remembered this from his 16 birthday when she had bought him the bike. He remembered thinking originally how much work it needed and since that birthday had been working on it, within a year he had it fixed up and only in need of some minor work to finish it to perfection. He smiled and put the picture in his saddle bag once again, he looked up and noticed some preppy guys looking at him 3 of them and two girls with them, the two girls were staring at him while the guys were talking one of the preppy guys looked his way and stopped his group. The guys huddled and conversed while the two girls stood somewhat away from them and watched Mikhail, he looked at the girls and they smiled and turned away from him laughing. Two of the guys turned noticed the girls laughing and looked over at Mikhail with malice in their eyes, the turned towards Mikhail and attempted to look tough. Mikhail dismissed this as he heard the woman from the office tapping on the glass and motioning for him to come inside holding up a sheet of paper.

Mikhail walked inside and the woman handed him the sheet, when he took it she smiled and returned to her desk. She went back to typing at her computer and he read his schedule.

1.Pre-Calculus
2. Physics
3. Kick Boxing
4. Mechanics
- Lunch
5. United States History
6. Free period.
7. Archery
8. Shop

He smiled knowing he had gotten Mechanics, he had intended on it and smiled broadly. He glanced up from his paper and saw the kids from before by his Fatboy and he quickly shoved his schedule into his pocket and ran over to his bike. As he got closer they heard his boots crunching on the gravel below him and two of them turned around. The third was on the other side of his bike and walked around it and in front of Mikhail, he near Mikhail's height if not taller. The boy looked Mikhail in the eyes and Mikhail stared stone faced.

"That's a nice bike," the boy said, "I'd like to take it for a ride some day, what do you say?"

"I'm sure it'd like to take you for a ride on the asphalt with a rope around your neck," Mikhail said letting his biker mind take over. The boy smiled and turned back to his friends they chuckled and then the boy brought back a fist towards Mikhail. The punch hit Mikhail in the right cheek but wasnt very hard, Mikhail tucked in and rammed the boy to the ground. He threw punch after punch into the boys sides then finally a blow to the face, he raised his hand for another strike but it was held back by one of the other boys while the other boy pulled Mikhail off of the first one. Mikhail tried to pull his arms free but only managed to pull one of them out of the boys' grip, he pulled his left arm inward and brought its elbow back into the nose of the boy that had grabbed his left arm. He fell backwards clutching his face, Mikhail noticed the blood on the elbow of his leather jacket. The other boy let go and put his hands up backing up submissively but this didn't register with Mikhail until after he had already begun his swing, the punch landed on the boys jaw and he fell to the ground on all fours. Mikhail looked at the boys and his bike, an arm was placed on his shoulder and he was pulled back to the school. It was the pudgy man and some other teacher, they pulled him into the main office and sat him down.

"Do that again and your out!" The fat man said angrily pointing a finger in Mikhail's face. Mikhail nodded and the fat man let him go outside once more, the boys had teachers helping them up and a woman in a nurses uniform helping the boy with the clearly broken nose. Mikhail noticed one of the security officers was walking towards him, the officer stopped Mikhail and looked him in the eyes.

"I'll escort you to class," He said "Before you cause anymore trouble remember, there are consequences my little friend."

The officer escorted Mikhail to breakfast and Mikhail picked up a tray of eggs bacon and a muffin, he also pouring himself some cereal then went over to the milk and poured it. He went and sat down and began eating his meal, he hadnt had a decent meal since his first night on the road and that was a good week and a half ago.

"You got that right, the government has to find some way to cover their tracks up." Josiah said, chuckling in agreement. "As long as they don't enlist me into world war four anytime soon, I'll be fine." As he watched the students, Josiah saw another another student exiting the building. "It looks like John and Jack are coming to join the party." Josiah said as he returned a wave towards the man. Although Josiah was mostly civil towards the duo, he was still cautious towards John and his actions towards the other students. "Coming to check out the new students?" Josiah asked as the duo came closer to the two with a small smile. "Which I hope won't be anything more than that John." Josiah said in a serious tone specifically towards John. "The new students have more than enough to deal with today without someone trying to mess with them."

Tia nodded as she listened to Sage as he spoke about his own similar experience at the hospital. What Sage said seemed to be something unbelievable, there had to be a logical explanation of what happened. Maybe all of this was just a prank, maybe her brothers were trying to get at her. That seemed plausible option to her. However, before she could ask if her brothers were the ones setting everything up, Terry started to speak. Watching the iPod, Tia jumped back out of surprisal as the iPod started to lift off the ground. "Oh god, that's freaky!" Tia exclaimed, knowing now that what was happening was true.

Looking up as the bus stopped, Tia listened as a man started to explain what was happening. She didn't like the sound of what was happening as she wondered how they were going to teach them how to use their abilities. She had questions she wanted answered and although she knew that the man said that they would have to wait, she hoped she could some answered now.

"Hey, wait a-"

However before Tia could finish her question, the sound of gunshots reached the bus. Quickly dropping back down in her seat, Tia looked around wondering what was happening. The young girl watched as another person came onto the bus. Although the girl's appearance and where the girl came from concerned Tia a bit, she was also curious about the other girl. She hoped that she could meet the girl later on and learn more about her.

John looked over at Josiah with a wide grin.

"Hehe, I wouldn't dream of it Josiah, oh and Jason hows the eye's? Still blind as a bat?" they asked with a laugh Jack pulled the hood off and started yelling at John.
"JOHN FOR CHRIST SAKE STOP TERRORISING PEOPLE. Really sorry guys for Johns behaviour, if he acts up again feel free to punch him." they said hoping John was paying attention.Jeez I was just having some fun Jack John said in their mind. Jack ignored the comment and walked over to the two at the tree.
"Has anyone had a go at running yet? I still remember when i got of that bus, some kid ran and they shot his legs." Jack said, they remember that day like it was yesterday. They looked over and saw the bus, I wonder what type of meat they brought this time. John said in their mind.
"I don't know John but it will definitely be interesting." Jack replied

Xander glanced up and down the rows. No one looked particularly special. Every year it was the same damn thing. He had to deliver another group of idiots to the school to be mindlessly brainwashed into thinking they were attending a school with cheerleaders and chemistry class. There was never one person who failed to see society didn't want freaks like them around and liked to coop them up somewhere they didn't have to deal with them and never was there a person other than him that figured out that it made no bloody sense for them, the stronger, faster, and more powerful human beings to be made the minority. He hated them all.

He watched a girl get on the bus from the same slum he had to wait a long two hours at. He had to listen to the little shits shooting their lame guns at each other the whole entire time. She had a cute face despite her whole thug-get up. He gave her a smile when she greeted them cheerfully. For some reason, he couldn't quite get in her head and find out her name.

His eyes fell on the dark haired girl with a floating iPod. He searched her mind for a name and Terraline finally surfaced. She laughed, "Yeah I know. It freaked me out too before." She gave a friendly wave to the girl in the thug get-up and started talking to some surfer-looking guy named Sage. The girl next to her seemed to be named Tia.

"Ello, mate."

Xander eyed Sage, "Hey. "He greeted. "Need something?"

Before Sage could answer, the bus came to a screeching halt. "Well I guess we're here."Xander said, "Off we go." He gestured for them to follow and got off the bus. He watched as kids poured off it and other people took roles as tour guides. They were led inside to get what they needed and to be escorted to the cafeteria.

Xander turned to look at Sage, Tia, Terry and thug-girl. "I'll lead you guys." he told them. "Follow me."

~~

As nice as Xander seemed, something about him creeped Terry out. She followed him nonetheless. Once inside, she went up to the main desk as she was instructed.

"Name," said the chubby man working the desk.

"Terraline Gray."

"One moment please... Alright. Here is a schedule that was created based on your previous school records. Your dorm number is located at the top and everything you need will be provided for you in there. The school rules are on the back. I highly suggest you follow them. You will go to breakfast and have about a half hour to locate your dorm and check it out then you will go to your third period class."

She was handed a piece of paper that was neatly stored in some sort of plastic. "Thank you but why was I kidnapped and dragged here? "Terry inquired. "The school I attended was perfectly-"

"Next!" The man yelled, completely ignoring her.

With a irritated sigh, Terry got off the line and waited for the others.

"Amen to that Brother" Jason chuckled in reply as Jack and John approached the spot where Jason and Josiah were sitting, Jason knew someone was approaching by the way the grass swished against their sneakers, and the sway of their jeans, Jason figured it was Jack and John by the way lucky fidgeted, the way he always did when someone was approaching that Jason should probably be wary of, upon their approach.

Jason turned and greeted the two, listening in to the conversation, at the mention of his sight, or lack there of, Lucky growled, baring his white, shiny, wolf-like fangs at John, he stopped as Jack returned and yelled at John, Jason smiled. "No worries, if John does anything too out of line, we'll make sure to put him in his place, won't we boy?" Jason said as he rubbed his dog's head, the large black and yellow tail wagging back and forth, almost knocking over the mostly empty plate of nachos.

Jason took another nacho and smelled the new students getting off the bus, their fidgeting telling him that they were all nervous, as they should be. "Not yet, but Desserts for the next week say the fourth from the end on the side closest to us tries to make a break for it" Jason said in reply to Jack's question, noting a particularly nameless, well rounded young individual, who was rather large, blond, and had a blank expression on his face, but Jason saw none of this. Jason smelled the sweat dripping off of the manchild resulting in excessive body odor, he heard the swish of the boys jeans as he fidgeted slightly, nervously. Jason smiled, if anybody ran, his money was on him.

Jack and John noticed the new students getting off the bus, John made a point of calling out a somewhat friendly hello to Xander, they then looked at the new students and with a wide grin they yelled "Welcome to your own personal he..." John was cut off by Jack who was putting a fist into his mouth to shut him up. They removed the fist and Jack gave a friendly "Welcome to Darkwood Academy." They looked to the two under the tree and Jack said "Punch him now please." with a friendly smile, they pulled the hood over and John made it a point that if they did he would burn them alive.

With a raised eyebrow, Josiah listened to John’s remark towards his comment he made without much trust in what the other man said. Turning towards the direction to the new students as the others talked about who they think would run. Josiah had to agree with what Jason said, the one he picked out seemed so nervous that he would either run or pass out right on the spot. However, before he could state his agreement, John started to speak to a few of the new students. Josiah was just about to tell him to knock it off but before he could, Jack took over and quickly tried to fix the mistake. “Nah, it would be a waste of energy hitting him. It’s not worth it.” Josiah said as he stood up, unafraid of John’s look of warning. “However, don’t forget I’m not the only one that can threaten others with fire John.” Josiah said as he gazed at John, making sure that he knew that his threat was a serious one.

“Have you guys gotten your schedule for this year yet?” Josiah asked looking between the two bodies. “I haven’t yet so I think I’ll go do that since most of the new students should be making their way to the cafeteria by now. You guys want to come with me?” Josiah asked before taking a few steps towards the entrance.

~.~.~

Glancing out the bus window, Tia was surprised how big the school was. Following Xander’s instruction, Tia followed behind Terry, Sage and the new girl as she looked around her surrounding in interest. Too focused on looking around, Tia was slightly startled as a new voice spoke. Unsure how to respond to the older boy’s remark, Tia nervously caught up and stayed close to the three older teens. “I wonder who that wacko is.” Tia said after she was out of the stranger’s earshot. As Tia waited for Terry to speak to the person at the desk, she turned towards the new girl. “Hey, I don’t think we introduced ourselves yet. My name is Tia. Do you also ha-“
“Next!” The man at the desk yelled before Tia could finish her question.
With a slight shrug, Tia turned towards the man. It didn’t take long before she retrieved her schedule. As she waited for the other two to receive her schedule, Tia glanced over hers. “Seriously? What type of schedule is this? Hand to hand combat? Archery? And what the hell is elemental training. Are they kidding or something?” Tia asked to no one in particular with a confused expression written on her face.

“Anyways, should we head into the cafeteria? Maybe we can find someone to sit with in there that might know what is going on.” Tia said as she headed through the cafeteria doors. Sitting by himself at one of the tables was a teen about the same age as the others. He didn’t look like of the people that rode the bus with them so she wondered if he was a student that has already been there. “I’ve already eaten breakfast at the hospital before I was kidnapped so if you guys want I can find a table to sit at while you guys grab your food.”

Without waiting for an answer, Tia was already off. As she made her way towards her target. “Hey, can my friends and I sit here with you?” Tia asked already sitting down across from the teen before he could answer.

Jason had to clench his fist to keep himself from acting on the request of Jack, and was forced to remind himself that punching John's lights out wouldn't solve anything, well it would make Jason feel better, but it wouldn't really solve the problem. So Jason took a deep breath and, sensing that his companion was getting just as worked up as he had been but moments previously, Jason scratched Lucky behind the ears, a gesture that always calmed the canine down. Jason's head turned as he heard Josiah begin to speak.

Jason pondered a moment, and then teleported next to Josiah, using the direction and distance the voice had come from and then aiming for the patch of grass a few inches feet away, making sure to grab Lucky's pelt and take the dog with him before doing so, for some reason whenever Jason 'ported, as he called it, Holding onto lucky always made him feel more confident, and as a result he tended to be more accurate. Jason responded to the question that had been asked upon appearing near the asker "I haven't gotten my schedule yet, and to tell you the truth I'd almost forgotten about it, what with being so caught up in doing so much nothing, let's go" Jason chuckled at his own joke as he joined Josiah, wondering if the strange twins would join them.

Mikhail heard people entering the cafeteria and noticed a group of people some looked like they were lost others looked like they didnt want to be there. He noticed a group of girls walking and one of them, a short blond girl, walking towards him. She stood and asked him if they could sit there.

"Your decision," Mikhail said his slight Russian accent showing, "I'm Mikhail Arkaden."

He gestured towards the seats and watched the girl sit and her group walked over. Mikhail looked at each of them as they walked over, he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

Jack and John felt hungry and decided it was time to join the others in the cafeteria, they made their way over towards the others and joined them walking into the building.

John stated in their mind that he wanted a nice juicy steak that he could chomp into, hoping to scare the new students.
"Well they don't have steak for breakfast, you know that John." Jack replied they walked in and up to the counter with the administrator. They waited while the new students got their timetables. Just as Jason went to get his John pulled up the hood, cut in front and gave a maniacal laugh.
"Better be quicker than that blindy!" John yelled JOHN YOU ARSEHOLE WHY DID YOU DO THAT?
John ignored Jack and quickly made thier way towards the cafeteria, John just burst in yelling,
"WELCOME TO DARKWOOD FELLOW FREAKS OF NATURE!!!."
Jack pulled the hood off and yelled back
"IGNORE HIM PLEASE!."

"The name's Tia." The girl said as she scanned the crowd before turning her attention back to the older student. "I don't think I saw you on the bus earlier. I've been trying to get some answers on what is going on here. Do you think you can help." Tia asked, hoping that the other student was someone that has been at the school for a while and would be able to help both her and the others she met on the bus. However before he could answer, another voice yelled across the cafeteria. Looking towards the entrance, she saw that it was the same teen that she was by the entrance of the school. "What's that guy's problem?" Tia asked as she watched the teen as he started yell about ignoring someone. Something about how that guy creeped Tia out a little bit as she hoped that he wouldn't make his way towards the two of them.

As he waited in line, Josiah watched the new students grab their schedule with mostly uncertainty and confusion. Even though the new students took longer than necessary to retrieve their schedule due to their questioning and confusion, Josiah didn't mind. He was patient and a few extra minutes wouldn't hurt anyone.

"...And what the hell is elemental training. Are they kidding or something?" A blonde haired girl that could be no older than twelve or thirteen exclaimed as she read through schedule.

A soft chuckle escaped Josiah's lips as he watched the girl with slight amusement at her spunkiness. "Well, it looks like there's going to be some added excitement this year." Josiah said as he watched her and a few other new students enter the cafeteria. Things were moving smoothly until the him and the others made it towards the front of the line. After grabbing his schedule, Josiah stepped out of line and looked at the classes he would be taking with a mixed expression of excitement and dread. He was hoping for a free period this year or at least a music class but it appeared the school thought that math and history would be a better use of his time. He was caught off guard when Jack suddenly acted out and cut in line before quickly making his way to the cafeteria.

"Well this will be an awesome first impression of the school." Josiah said sarcastically before quickly following the twins into the cafeteria. Luckily by the time he arrived it appeared that Jack was in control as he wondered what he missed seeing the teen freaking out. "Why don't we just permanently sew that hood of yours down." Josiah said giving the teen a slight guiding push towards the closest table as he hoped that he would follow along. "How about we sit down Jack before we make too much of a scene. I can grab you some food while Jason stays here so that he can teleport you out if John makes a huge scene. Will that be okay with you Jason? I can grab something for you as well if you like." Josiah said before looking at the table and saw two other people already there. It was the same girl that he saw earlier and teen that he hasn't met yet that was about his age. "I hope that's okay with the two of you guys. The twins, or rather John can be a bit of a handful at times but Jack's a good guy. He and Jason might be able to answer some of your lingering questions that you might have."

Jack started scratching the back of their head while putting a forced smile on their face, they saw looks of confusion from the newer students. Josiah said that they should sit down at the nearest table while he fetched some food for the group, John called out after him.
"BRING STEAK!" Jack returned while sitting at the table with a smile, they noticed Jason walking over as-well.
"Well your probably thinking right now, what the hell is wrong with this guy. Well I am Jack and person who ran in yelling was John, people call us twins but really we are two sides of the same coin, if you get that. And like John said welcome to darkwood." Jack said with a smile looking at the blonde haired girl and the teen that he's never seen before.

Sage smirked in response to Xander's greeting and followed he, Terry, Tia, and the new girl off the bus. There was a lovely "Greeting" from a boy and he watched, raising his eyebrows. How delightful. He watched as students poured out of the bus and onto the grounds as if they were at some prestigious playground or something. He walked inside and to the front desk. While he waited, he watched how rudely the woman dismissed everyone and scowled before letting it disappear. Was nobody here nice or friendly? After he received his schedule, he joined Terry, Tia, new-girl and the others. Just as he went to speak, Tia did before he could.

“Anyways, should we head into the cafeteria? Maybe we can find someone to sit with in there that might know what is going on.” Tia said as she headed through the cafeteria doors. Sitting by himself at one of the tables was a teen about the same age as Terry, new-girl, and himself. He followed her and sat down opposite of the boy and Tia. “I’ve already eaten breakfast at the hospital before I was kidnapped so if you guys want I can find a table to sit at while you guys grab your food.” He looked at Tia.

"Thanks, Tia." He replied with a kind smile as she found a table. "I appreciate it." Then, Sage turned to the new boy Tia had greeted and listened to his introduction and nodded in response.

"Your decision," Mikhail said his slight Russian accent showing, "I'm Mikhail Arkaden." This school just had a variety of accents: Terry's British accent, Mikhail's Russian accent, and then his own British/Australian accent. He smirked to himself, amused, but didn't let anyone notice. Sage wondered if people from other countries had been contacted to come here, or if it was just the kids in America. It was a little mind boggling to see so many different people with their distinct backgrounds. Sage shook his head to clear his thoughts and turned to Mikhail but fell silent as Tia began to converse.

"The name's Tia." Tia said as she scanned the crowd and then turned back to Mikhail. "I don't think I saw you on the bus earlier. I've been trying to get some answers on what is going on here. Do you think you can help." Tia asked. The teen who had screeched at them before was standing at the entrance, continuing his psychotic shriek. "What's that guy's problem?" She asked as she watched the teen as he started yell about ignoring someone.

Sage raised an eyebrow once more and looked at Tia. "Not to intrude, mate, but I'd recommend staying close by." He told Tia, his accents noticeable as well. Something about the teen was making him wonder what kind of school this was, or if they were just unhinged or something. He sighed and looked at Mikhail. "Good day, mate. I'm Sage, Sage Lockheart."

Willow received her schedule and waited with the others, not bothering to speak to the lady at the desk. There was no point, seeing as she was cutting everyone off or ignoring them. Additionally, the boy who had screamed at them before had baffled her and thrown her off-guard so she was also trying to recover her composure. She heard the young teen who had been sitting with the older teenagers, speak to her and looked at her. “Hey, I don’t think we introduced ourselves yet. My name is Tia. Do you also ha-“

Willow smiled kindly, though confusion surfaced when her question was cut off. "Nice to meet you, I'm Will-"
"Next!" The lady said loudly, seemingly annoyed. Will frowned and moved away, quickly following the group and doing her best to keep up. As Tia waited for the other two to receive their schedules, she began speaking, although Will was giving her schedule e a quick glance before looking at her.

“Seriously? What type of schedule is this? Hand to hand combat? Archery? And what the hell is elemental training. Are they kidding or something?” Tia asked with a confused expression written on her face, though it seemed to be to nobody in particular.

Will laughed, amusement filing her expression."No idea, Tia. I have flying lessons." She paused for a moment and eyed her own schedule more thoroughly. "I'm good at hand-to-hand combat, so I can help you if you'd like, and it looks like I'm in the class anyways. I'm good at it since I kinda had to know this stuff for where I came from..." Willow looked away, hoping she wasn't making a fool of herself. She wasn't sure how to converse, or if she'd mess up. Her shyness was painful at times and now was one of them. Maybe she should just be on her own. She sighed. No. She'd have to open up eventually, or perhaps she'd be a loner again. Still, with no idea what the heck this school was, having friends seemed like the best idea. But how could she converse when she couldn't stop babbling like an idiot?

Growing quiet, Willow followed Tia, Sage, and the others into the cafeteria. Tia found a table and sat down, conversing with the boy who was there. While Tia, the new boy, and then Sage spoke, Willow remained quiet. "Hey, can my friends and I sit here with you?” Tia asked already sitting down across from the teen before he could answer.

"Your decision," Mikhail said his slight Russian accent showing, "I'm Mikhail Arkaden." Willow blushed. He was handsome, and his accent was adorable. She glanced at him shyly before glancing away, hoping she wouldn't make a fool of herself.

Just then, the teenager boy from before screamed once more. "WELCOME TO DARKWOOD FELLOW FREAKS OF NATURE!!!."
A boy pulled the hood off and yelled back "IGNORE HIM PLEASE!."

Willow stared at them, positively confused and bewildered. Ignore who? What the hell was going on? And why were they "freaks of nature?" She shook her head with bewilderment then turned back to the others. She couldn't help but hope they wouldn't come near them. She listened to Tia speak to Mikhail, mentioning how he hadn't been on the bus and was looking for answers. Also, when she asked what that guy's problem was, Will couldn't help but wonder the same thing. She sighed. This school's first impression was just grand. The boy who had been sitting next to the two girls spoke introducing himself as Sage. His voice was a mixture of a British and Australian accent, making him her smirk.

She looked around to see if the other girl was there before finally looking at the group. "May I sit here, please?" she asked, mustering as much bravado as possible, since people were still giving her glances and whispering. She kept hearing 'thug', 'gangster', 'mob girl'. It was going to be a long year. She did her best to ignore them. "I'm Willow Clarke, but you can call me Will." Over the discussion of breakfast, she looked at Tia. "Oh. I ate a little bit, but I'd like to get some more food." She looked at Sage, then to the other girl and realized he'd probably wanted to speak to her alone. He seemed to have a crush on her or something. "But I think I'll wait for the line to die a little."

While waiting, Willow took her hoodie off. Despite her muscle, Willow was thin. Maybe too thin.

Jason stood behind Josiah, perfectly content to wait to get his schedule until it was time, he could smell anxiety and apprehension on the various students both ahead and behind him, but, truth be told, he was already proud of how long the line took, most of the time the students were too afraid to ask any questions about the schedule, or too beaten down by fate and chance to do so, Jason empathized with them, for most these 'gifts' as they were often called by the teachers, were more curse than anything else, and many of these new students would be quite aware of this. Although some had more....passion than was actually necessary for their particular statements.

"......And what the hell is elemental training. Are they kidding or something?" An angry sounding, highly perfumed, female voice exclaimed as she read through her schedule.

"ANCIENT HISTORY WHAT THE HELL DO I NEED TO TAKE ANCIENT HISTORY FOR???" a rather sweaty boy, whose voice was laced with anger and stupidity but whose stance, amount of perspiration, heavy steps, and cracks in his voice screamed a young, rather large boy who was terrified of what was happening and was acting basically on instinct. Lucky wasn't a fan of people being incredibly loud, and could feel the anger building in the room so when the probably large, smelly boy began to shout, so did the canine. Baring his fangs and letting it be known that the boy needed to calm down, Lucky began barking, the large boy turned around and left, going off to be scared somewhere else.

"That it will" Jason replied to Josiah, even though it had technically only really been an observation and not necessarily called for a response. Jason chuckled alongside his friend, enjoying the moment, there were so few lighthearted ones at this place that Jason and Lucky had learned to enjoy the ones that actually did occur. Jason chuckled again, less belly more throat this time, as he imagined how the scene must look to those who could see, everybody streaming about, milling, the chaos in the air was so tangible Jason debated taking out a knife and cutting himself a piece to save for later as a snack. However he pushed the notion away, as he approached the desk with the schedules on it and began to feel around for his, it didn't take long, his was the only one that had raised lettering and with Lucky to help him he quickly ascertained where his Schedule was located and picked it, giving a small mock salute to the teacher who was inevitably sitting behind the desk that held the schedules, Jason was pretty sure that the teacher stuck his tongue out at him in response, or at least muttered darkly, but he could never be sure, as being blind will do that to a body.

Jason ran his hands over his new schedule, wondering what madness they had enrolled him in this year, it read:
1st: Free Period
2nd: Hand-To-Hand Combat
3rd: Teleportation Training
4th: Swimming
- - Lunch - -
5th: Ancient History
6th: Sensory-Oriented Ability Training
7th: Fencing
8th: Free Period
Jason was glad about having the two free periods, especially where they were placed, one at the end and one at the beggining of the day, giving him shorter days all the time, he had worried about their not liking his proposal for such a system but apparently it had gone through.

Jason sat down with Josiah and Jack/John, and thanked Josiah as he offered to grab some food for Jason. "Sounds like a plan" Jason said in response to the question of he if he would mind watching the twins. Jason smiled in the direction that the perfumed smell of the girl that he had scented earlier was coming from, there was also someone else with her, not the incredibly smelly boy though, he was elsewhere, no this scent Jason couldn't place exactly, or at least not yet.

"Hi, I'm Jason, and I apologize in advance for John's behavior, see Jack has split personality disorder, causing him to switch between Jack, the boy that we all love and would take bullets for, and John, the jackass king, but please, don't let John's stunning personality keep you from asking me or Jack any questions you may have" Jason held his hand out, he knew that it could be a lot to take in, especially considering the background that these children probably had, so Jason offered his hand, most considered such an act a rather everyday one, but Jason knew that doing something considered a 'societal norm' sometimes calmed the nerves of new students, and that was all he was attempting to do.

"That guy is strange," Mikhail said with a stern face. The guy had someone sit him down and then the same person left to go get food. Mikhail watched as some teen with a british accent sat down.

"I don't think I saw you on the bus earlier. I've been trying to get some answers on what is going on here. Do you think you can help." The short blond girl asked.

"I came here from Arizona, on the Harley outside," Mikhail said "And as to whats going on here I dont know, I came here on my own. Heard it was a good place to an education, I dont really know why you guys are here."

He noticed a girl that resembled those he used to hang around at the bar. She looked like she had been around the wrong side of the tracks and he smiled knowing he wasn't the only kid here people would refer to as a hood. She asked if she could sit down.

"Absolutely," Mikhail said, "I'm Mikhail."

He watched as she sat down, he definitely liked this girl. He kept checking her out from the corner of his eye ever so often as the conversation continued with the other students. He ate some eggs and looked up to see the kids that had surrounded his bike from earlier, he clenched his fork and bent its head downwards with his thumb. The boys watched him and snickered then spoke to each other and laughed out loud, he watched them pass and wondered what they found so funny. He set his fork down and saw the kid who shouted out being guided over to the table by some other teen, the guiding teen put his hand out and waited for Mikhail to shake it. Mikhail gave him a funny look, something about this guy came off as strange to Mikhail and he decided to not shake the teens hand.

Tris sighed loudly as she pushed herself down a ramp out of the car she had taken to this school of misfit toys, she had to be taken by a car and not a bus like the others because her wheelchair would not fit in it, that lowered her self confidence even lower than it normally was but she tried to not let it get to her.
She could control fire but not her own legs, it was kind of sad in her opinion. She was sure there were probably a lot of other people here who could control elements better than her and they got to use their legs. She wished when she became a 'mutant' her genes would have decided to fix her legs in the process, would have made her life a whole lot easier.

Looking down at her useless legs she rolled herself forward using her strong arms to will her through everything in front of her. She noticed a few others in front of the school, some laughing and messing around, others nervous.
She noticed a Harley as well which stood out from everything else, she had always liked bikes like that and wished to ride one- but alas it was a dream that would never come true because unless she rode in one of those lame sidecars it would be impossible.

She had a multiple of things that she had taken with her but she only carried her backpack which was laid on her lap, the Hylian shield carrying her laptop and several other items like her Ipod and inhaler. Biting on her lips in nervousness she wheeled forward in through the door, thanking all that was and wasn't holy that they had ramps here.

She had her hoodie pulled up and she guessed she must look pretty immature in it, the dragon spikes going up and down her spine, honestly she couldn't care, the hoodie made her feel more confident, dragons were never shy or scared, she shouldn't be either.
They had told her to go to the front office for her schedule instead of where everyone obviously because she was in a wheelchair she had to have special treatment for everything she did.
After she got her schedule she rolled herself outside, not wanting to go anywhere with too many people, she liked her schedule well enough, it was easy to remember and all her classes were on the first floor so she wouldn't have to push herself up any ramps, she guessed they had done that intentionally when assigning her classes.

She rolled to a oak tree that was on the school grounds, no one else was there so it seemed the good place to chill out, even though she was an extrovert and liked being around people, sometimes it was scary for her, not scary so much as people themselves were scary, scary as in she didn't know what to say around people and that scared her.
So usually she just avoided people unless they approached her first.
Brushing back her undercut side hair she took a deep breath and pulled out her laptop, glad to get a wifi signal out here.
She started fixing up a beat she had started making before she left and had been unable to finish, keeping the volume low so not many others could hear.
Music always clammed her nerves.

Brookes sighed as he waited in line to get his schedule along with all of the other kids. This was all very overwhelming. But by now, he was used to that. He could feel all of their emotions. Every single person within a certain radius of him. And boy did it hurt. He couldn't really identify who's emotions were who's but it always seemed easier when he was closer to the person. For example. The student in front of him was completely and utterly pissed. He didn't even need empathy to know that by the way he looked. Behind him was a girl who was utterly nervous. It made his stomach hurt with all of the nervousness floating in the air. Luckily for Brookes, there weren't really any different emotions. People feeling nervous, confused, or angry. Normal emotions to be had during this time.

Due to the same emotions going on at the same time. Brookes felt very confident that he wasn't going to go completely lucid. But before he knew it, he already was. It's kind of like when you get tired and you are trying to stay awake but you fall asleep anyway. You never really notice it happening until you're woken up. Whenever this happened, the world got so fuzzy and disoriented for Brookes. The emotions all mixed together in some weird blur that he never really understood. He must have been standing still because the girl behind him angrily told him to move forward. Brookes' face contorted with rage and he balled his hand into a fist, forcing it behind him. He was about to punch the girl in the face when he realized he was going crazy again. He froze his hand and whispered under his breath as it fell back to his side. "Sorry."

After grabbing his schedule and noticing that the person handing out the forms was very annoyed and nervous about all of these new students, Brookes went and stood near a tree next to a girl in a wheelchair. He set his backpack down and leaned against it, studying her emotions like he usually did. It became sort of a hobby. Feeling the emotions of others. At first she seemed a little nervous like everybody else but he observed as she pulled out a laptop and began playing music, that she started to calm down. The music itself sounded fairly nice. But he was more interested in talking to her.

Brookes approached the girl and smiled at her. "I see that music calms you down. Do you like music?" He asked, completely forgetting to mention the fact that he was an empath. He always did that. Never taking into consideration that people probably don't know certain things. Probably just a bit of his old personality shining through.

Tris looked up, her brown eyes widening slightly and she became slightly panicked not noticing the boy until now, "y-yeah! N-Not that I-I wasn't calm before, I just- Um." She stuttered, swearing at herself in her mind for her stupid stuttering problem.
"Yes." She said trying to sound more assertive and trying to sound as confident as possible, she looked down at her lap and clicked the off button on her music, thinking it rude to have music playing while talking to someone.
"Hi, I'm T-Tris. Ni-ice to meet you." She said with a weak smile, wanting to slap herself for being so panicky around other people, her stutter had always been a huge source of insecurity for her, every syllable she tripped over was another blow to her gut and embarrassment. She felt hot, her embarrassment making her warm and become red, pulled down her dragon hoodie she shook out her hair and pushed it back behind her ears.
