"Who's team are you on?" Eris said to the boy @Zetsuko, as she talked her shadows regrouped then split into nine again this time a skintight shield of light that would protect her from any direct physical attacks surrounded her and she put her sword down but didn't sheath it.

Ryan stared at Deus blankly. He disappeared and reappeared a few yards behind Deus. "Good, that waste of human flesh should die. It frees up a spot for better council members, ones with control. He's a disgrace to this school." Ryan pulled out a sword of his own and let himself smirk.

"This is one of the treasures I have collected in my journeys. The Honjo Masamune. A sword with the ability to cut through anything." Ryan burst forward in a rush of air as he swung his sword forward towards Deus' left arm. However it was just a feint to strike at his ribs.

Alex watched as the glowing papers neutralized his boxes, So that's how those papers work huh... he thought calmly. Then, Meruin finally cast the spell she had been charging for so long and Alex felt a strong field starting to form a few meters above Meruin.

Suddenly, seven glowing energy swords appeared above her head and proceeded to start spinning and moving around, hovering above Meruin as she herself began walking towards Alex. At that point Alex knew that the sheer power contained in each of those seven swords was immense and that defending against them would be futile. Escaping was an option though but he was sure Meruin would have something up her sleeve that would let her catch up to him. So he did the only thing he was able to do at that moment. Prepare for an assault on Meruin.

But - there was always a but - the fight would be on his terms, not on Meruins. Alex mumbled something silently and then pointed at the ground Meruin was stepping on. A low, guttural sound would be heard at first and after a second, a pillar of stone would shoot up from the ground beneath Meruin, dragging her with it upwards. Alex had manipulated the equation of Kinetic Energy - K=(1/2)*m*(u^2) - to give the patch of ground its own Kinetic Energy. The pillar would be moving upwards fast, gaining height rapidly. What Alex had in mind was that after a while, he would stop the pillar from moving any further and so the immense momentum would carry Meruin over into space - more or less shoot her like a bullet, effectively ending their little fight without it having even started. Had Meruin found a way to escape the pillar and the sudden change in momentum and continued her attack, Alex would use Archimedes' Box to create seven yellowish-blue rectangles with electrical properties, making them super-sharp and with almost no air-resistance and would shoot them at her.

Deus looked at Ryan as he lunged forward. He had to make a choice soon but not now. "Bullet..Body!!!!" His whole body was covered in a yellow aura that could be seen, you don't even have to be able to see Aura to see Deus's. Currently Deus was a living Missile (Something like what Goten does in DBZ, the move called Charge.) He flew, fast, like really fast that it would be hard to keep up with him, he read the attack using one of his abilities called Combat Perception. As he dodged it he began to fly really, really fast to just above the troposhpere. He began to charge up Kusanagi V2, which in a persons eyes would just be a regular sword, nothing more, nothing less. He sent a Dark Flame Slash, that would follow Ryan, the Dark Flame was a heavenly flame that could burn through anything.

Cornelia sighed. She was getting nowhere with this, better kill him now is what she thought. She threw the knives at Marcus that were supercharged with Electricity making it almost impossible to dodge, Almost. As she threw the Knives, she used them as cover to impale him right on his chest, attempting to slash a Nerve.

Tony watched as Alex engaged Meruin. He was going to help, be she seemed to be more than capable. Tony wasn't even exactly sure how she was able to do some of the spells she did. Tony changed back to his human form figuring the danger was gone. Then Alex shot Meruin into the sky on a pillar. How the hell had he done that? Nonetheless, Hart knew he had to do something. But his sister beat him to it. Lucy snuck up behind Alex, and aimed a sweep kick at his ankles. After that she would jump back, still undetectable.

Meruin glanced at the ground beneath her with a raised brow. It shot up fast . . . leaving her behind just less than five feet of the ground. The swords simply slipped under the small mage, forming a conic array beneath her - the ground that shot up got chopped to bits, and the only thing that went up was dirt. She landed with a light tap. The Archimedes Box shot projectiles at her, but she walked on, unmindful. One sword tore through three of them from the side, while a second one spun around her, breaking the rest. Nothing remained of them.

The swords were not really swords. That was just the shape they took. All that really mattered in describing their true nature was that they were the compressed energies that everyone had released. The majority of their ability to ignore defense came from how complex they were - they tore through magic and physical object by literally overloading them with foreign concepts. The extra power behind them was part of an array of seals that kept them compressed.

Meruin walked forward, getting closer to Alex, all the while beginning to mutter under her breath.

Marcus was foolishly caught of guard by the knifes and within seconds felt the unbearable pain of being impaled. He backed away coughing up a lot of blood. His surroundings were even more blurry and it was getting harder to keep his eye lids from dropping. "Fu...." He attempt to curse before his body collapsed in a puddle of his own blood. From appearance he was obviously dead. As of now his mind began to roam in Limbo. Soon "it" will begin and everything will be fucked.

"Oh yea, you can just do that, can't you?" Alex said as he watched Meruin tear through the pillar with her swords and then effortlessly sliced and broke apart the boxes he had sent at her. Ugh, those swords..its like they are the ultimate defense and offence one could have, Alex thought. How can I destroy them...hmmm...wait, those swords are pure energy right? Alex quickly checked if his assumption was correct, which it turned out it was. "Great, so how does she keep so much energy so condensed? By the second law of thermodynamics and entropy, energy spontaneously disperses from being localized to becoming spread out if it is not hindered from doing so... So how does she keep them in that form?" Alex wondered when he noticed Meruin had started once again to walk towards him.

Well, what I need right now is time and I know just the right way to gain some he thought, a slight grin formed on his lips as he again started mumbling calculations and then pointed towards Meruin and flicked his finger. What Alex had just done was that he had manipulated the metric space between point x, himself, and point y, Meruin. He had changed the metric so that however Meruin tried to close the distance between the two, the two would always be a set distance apart, which he set to be exactly 621.5 miles or 1000 kilometers. Everything but the two though, was unaffected by this change and as such, the environment around them would seem the same for an outside observer.

"Well now that I got that covered..." he said, sighing. He sat down on the ground cross-legged and went to work, trying to figure out how her spell worked.

Meruin completed her next spell. It took awhile, but that was good. It's effects were weak at the beginning, but would quickly pile up. What exactly did her spell accomplish?

On twenty seven different spots on the area, the hazy form of Meruin appeared, chanting and chanting. Their voices rang through the air like a chorus of demented angels. Each of them drew into the air, barriers forming around them.

Eris said as she created stood on the edge of the building again started chanting another spell pointing in the direction of the biggest source of magic in the area be for it multiplied, two sets of rings of magic symbols circling from the tip of her finger down the rest of her body and a 10 large pillars of darkness dropped out of the sky and created a barrier around her.

Ryan spun towards the Dark Flame. "Heavenly Water!" A dome of water appeared around him and shone brightly when the fire came into contact with it. The water hardened into stone and began expanding, while the fire ate away at the stone at the same pace of expansion. Ryan than teleported out of the shell and near Deus. "Scared?" Ryan sheathed his blade and proceeded to glow. "Grimoire Art: The Emperor!" Ryan was suddenly encased in an Armor of Stone as he swung his fist at Deus. "Mighty Swing!"

Deus was getting pissed, not scared, but pissed, and when he gets pissed he begins to rely on the Dark Aura. As he saw him getting closer, his Aura also began to grow into a darker color, once he was under The Dark Aura Manipulation, he becomes a sadistic person, wanting to toy with his opponent. As Ryan came to punch him, his Aura blew the fist away using the Energetic Pressure emanating from His Dark Aura. Once the fist was out of the way, Deus used Kusanagi (which was still in wooden form) and slashed at Ryan at 100mph, which made the sword change into a steel edge sword.

Cornelia

Cornelia saw the dead body on the floor. She wasn't happy with just killing him. She wanted to slice and dice him in half. As she was about to begin slicing him, she saw A lot of Meruin's appear in the distance. She decided to kill her now, after all, the stronger the prey, the tastier it is.

"Oh joy, dark powers." Ryan didn't even bother moving out of the way as the sword hit the armor. It was when the armor crumbled slightly that he moved. Ryan shook his head at the stupidity that was being displayed. He was completely relying on this Energetic Pressure for defense. 'How shall he fair against Death? Let's find out.' He concentrated and released his full power. You could now see a visible multicolored aura around Ryan as he showed his full strength.
"This is getting boring. Grimoire Deactivate. Grimoire Spell: The Death." An skeletal figure appeared around Ryan and grabbed at Deus. The Energetic Pressure would fail to stop it and if he was touched then he would start rapidly aging. " If you're curious about the aura, it's not just my aura. It's other people's as well. Or at least it was."

Three spells activated at once. On the outside, nothing seemed to happen, however, the different Meruin's began glowing slightly. The original Meruin spotted Ryan engaging Deus. Seeing as pursuin Alex was proving to be futile (a very interesting spell, that was) she decided to hasten Ryan's fight.

Accompanied by her swords, the small mage flew towards Ryan and Deus.

Marcus woke up. He....was in a dark room a really dark room. Across from him sat a figure that had femine shape to it. "Welcome back." She said smiling devilish. "Oh its you again..." Marcus attempt to say but was interrupted by the girl. "Your gonna die." She lied to him. Marcus was still wearing his gauntlet so death would obviously be impossible. But Marcus didn't know that. "This time I'm gonna be blunt. There's two choices you have. Death or grab a hold of my hand and you'll be granted enough energy to get your revenge on the person that nearly killed you." What she didn't say was if Marcus took a hold of her hand he'd be taken over by madness and be left in a psychotic like state. "But...." He tried to talk again but was quickly interrupted by the girls spontaneous deep voice. "No!" She shouted her demonic like voiced echoed in the almost completely dark room. Marcus nods and grabs her hand causing the room to become darker and darker until it was impossible to see.

Outside of Marcus' body a powerful beam of light shot out of him piercing the sky. The beam flatted the near by land destroying a great amount of wild life and trees. Marcus eyes opened revealing his now lifeless black eyes. He rised to his feet as if he was a zombie. Black electricity like charges danced around his body. He looks up at the sky and sighs heavily. " The negative energy.....its...everywhere." Almost instantly Marcus located another source that was giving off a respectable amount of negative energy. Marcus took one step and vanished. He reappeared standing in mid-air watching the battle between Deus and Ryan. "Deus....." Then a not so respectable energy peeked Marcus' intreast. He turned his head and starred at Meruin. The more he looked at her the more......unsatisfied he felt. Marcus opened his palm towards Meruin and a massive ball of negative energy began to form. He released it towards Meruin saying "Good is bad.......bad is good." The massive ball darted at Meruin at an incredible speed. Applied to the ball was a great amount of nullification. So if Meruin dodged the ball a powerful wave of nullifying energy would impload next to her canceling out magic in its blast radius.

Deus smiled, as a wide sadistic grin appeared on his face. "Thank You Marcus. Now let's show these two not to underestimate us.." Deus pointed his palm at the ground. Deus's anger was increasing by the second, not only his anger but his will to kill someone, the reason for this is the anger he bears towards Cornelia, but was now centering it against Meruin and Ryan. As Deus pointed his hand at the ground, many green and dark particles could be seen flowing to Deus's hand. He was gaining power from the auras of the grass. He was also feeding on the Hatred and all Negative Emotions around him. This was part of the power of Dark Aura Manipulation, that is why Marcus and Deus make a good team while using these abilities, at least that's what I think. Deus began to charge up two spheres made of completely Negative Energy and tossed them at Ryan, if Ryan attempted to move the spheres would follow him, if he attempted to break them apart, they would turn into the shape of a donut and tie him in the spot, and begin draining his Aura and his life-force, as for the spheres following him, they would attack only Ryan, they would not stop.

Ryan smiled. The orbs attempted to touch him but fizzled out upon contact with his skeletal armor. " Death awaits all." Ryan swung the skeletons arm forward and tapped Deus. He would feel himself aging a year or two and would notice his magic growing slightly weaker. "Do you feel it? Time marches on." Ryan looked over at Meruin and nodded. He then swung his fist forward at Deus in a massive punch of literal Death.

The power from Extinction Syndrome was terribly abnormal. Such it was Devil Lord Agni. He looked at the new Hell that he and the others gave birth. "Let death be the one who dominates everything...", he spoke and closed his eyes. It didn't matter the radius, but many auras could be felt.

On the distance, he saw the clash between Meruin, Deus, Ryan, Marcus and Cornelia. "... Jet-Black Rain EX.", he chanted. It was raining black meteors already, but more of these same evil stars were falling down from the sky towards all of them. Since Agni wasn't the kind of holding back, he used his aura as a Devil Lord to steal the control over the Children of Schorched Earth. "... The one who summoned you and those near them.", he simply spoke those words. There was no echo, but his order reached every single of them, as all of the Children ran towards their direction, all at once.

Slick and Eris were somehow reunited thanks to Ito (@Zetsuko). "... Down to Jigoku and to Makai with them...", he said. That order was issued to the hands made of vengeful spirits. The dark embodiments, responsible for bringing the living to one of the seven levels of Hell, started to move towards them, while chanting their own magic.

There was still Cruz, Agni's first and main aim. In his case, Agni decided to deal with them by himself. He looked back at Cerberus, Elza [@Eklipse] and Mithrail (@ScorpionLantern). "... Do whatever you wish. Just don't enter in my way.", he said that while vanishing into black fire. Cerberus looked back at the two girls. "He said we should not, but I am going after my master. So, please excuse me.", he said, bowing to them. After that, Cerberus used his contract power to follow Agni's aura.
