Yasha

It wasn't too long until something caught Yasha's attention.
"Oi, that little rat robbed me blind!" a surprisingly loud shout surprised her. A quick search soon would show the owner of that shout. It was a middle aged man, apparently the owner of one of the stalls.

"Get back 'ere you little weasel! You don't steal from Ole' Gilfrey! I'll make mince meat out of you!" the man continued, chasing after a small boy, which sprinted through the market quite skillfully. Maybe it was only an impression, but Yasha thought to have seen a familiar face running after the boy as well, was it Selena?

"Well... I guess carrying this thing around, showing it to everyone is not a good idea if I want to gather some information..." she mumbled to herself, picking the magic rifle from her back and retracting its barrel, making it just slightly bigger than a pistol and sliding it inside her sleeve.

"Now... Where was I?" she said, looking to the alleyway where the small kid had run to.
"Maybe it won't be a bad thing to draw a bit of attention to myself..." She said, with a mischievous smile.

Strong gusts of wind started surrounding her, as she carelessly, flew up above the market, calmly hovering towards the alleyway. That small performance would obviously draw a lot of attention, but she wasn't concerned with that. In fact, maybe drawing a bit of attention could even be beneficial for her...

Getting above the alleyway, she was presented with two familiar faces. Selena and Senna. The first one was apparently trying to talk with the boy, while the other one was just above them, on the roof, silently watching.

"What coincidence..." she thought to herself, as she started simply hovering above both Senna and Selena in a very comfortable position, almost like she was laying down in the air, watching the entire situation. Senna would probably not interfere, and Selena was trying to talk with the boy, with her cheerful and bright smile. But there was one thing that wasn't as calm as Selena's expression... The middle aged man was still running after the boy, yelling and causing quite a ruckus.

"So loud and indelicate..." she said, sighing, before hovering towards the middle aged man and landing just in front of him.

"I saw everything that happened. I agree that the boy needs to pay for his acts, but don't you think that using violence is a bit too much?" she asked, looking towards the man with a slightly annoyed expression.

"And you're being ridiculously loud and indelicate! There is no need to be so loud..." she continued, looking at the middle aged man with a face of disappointment.

"The boy in question ran to that alleyway over there..." Yasha said, pointing to where the boy and Selena were.
"Although he stole from you, he is just a boy. Maybe it would be a good idea to make him work for you until he pays his debt?" Yasha said, trying to calm down the man.

Freyr

"Freyr...i-if things go really bad, leave me behind. I can do...something bad, but not with you nearby." Freyr heard Magnus speaking. His words confused Freyr, what did he mean by leave him behind? They were hunting together, he wouldn't just run and leave him there if things got bad...

But before Freyr could answer him, a small twister of wind appeared behind them. Strangely enough, there was a small, green haired girl appeared after it dispersed. She was giggling and crying, obviously amused by the pranks she just pulled on them.

The small girl was... quite arrogant, to tell the truth... Freyr was already in a bad mood because it was all just a prank, but the little girl had the gall to ask 'how was her little game'... Even saying that she let them come...
Was that all that she wanted? She was just wasting their time? Did she call just to prank them?

"I'm... sorry if I may sound a bit rude, but that was incredibly dangerous for you, and incredibly offensive, for me at least." Freyr said, pointing to the hole in the wolf puppet and looking at her with a clearly irritated expression.
"I must ask you to not do that anymore. Its very dangerous for you and we could be helping others while we were here doing nothing." Freyr said, trying to hide his disappointment without much success, as he started cleaning himself from the rest of the feathers and sticky thing that was on his clothes.

"If that was it, I'm going." Freyr said, sheathing his bow and starting to walk away. He was obviously very offended with all that.

Bast Ragoczy

Bast heard the boy's story, it sounded much more interesting than just marking the abandoned houses with chalk...
But some things on the boy's story simply didn't add up. Why this Lord Araghast, that used to protect the village, simply started killing everyone? Sure there must have been a reason... That wasn't the entire story. There was probably something that led the lord to kill the villagers. Was it simple greed? Or something more?

With a smile on his face, Bast called the boy before he went away.
"I must say, I'm quite interested on this story... Young one, would you accept my help? Standing here and just marking the abandoned houses is not fun or exciting..." Bast said, with a grin on his face.

"And I don't know about the mermaids, but I don't trust priests... Their eyes are " Bast said, dismissing the unpleasant memory of the priestess waving his hand.

"Anyways... I can relate to your desire, boy. After all, 'vengeance is a dish best served cold'... Am I right?" Bast continued, with a grim smile.

"I will make you a proposal, boy. I will help you, but under one condition: You will be the one to kill them. I will protect you, I will slash them, I will cut their limbs until they cannot attack or even stand up, but the killing, will be all yours, boy." Bast said, with a sinister expression.

"Will you accept my proposal? Are you really ready to take a life? To take all a person was, is and will ever be, and turn them to nothing? Think very well about your answer, boy... Once your hand is stained with blood, there is no turning back. Are you ready?" Bast asked, extending his hand to the boy, waiting for his answer and carefully analyzing his reactions.

Bast was indeed curious... How would he react to spilling other's blood? Would he be able to keep on living his life after finally avenging his family? Or would he succumb to his own rage and bloodthirst? The boy needed to pass through that metamorphosis by himself. Bast could only help him to stay alive.

"Which path will you chose, young boy?" He asked, still looking at him.

Ominar, Victorious Secrets
Day 3: 9am
interacting with:
@Tuujaimaa's Nabriales
and
@Raijinslayer's Damian

Those three words that Nabriales said, initially left her a bit surprised. She wasn't expecting him to say that. But that feeling lasted just for a few seconds... Corinna wasn't sure if he was trying to amend the situation or further degrade it, but his words weren't helping at all...
Nabriales himself didn't seem to understand the concept of fear. That could be a fatal flaw in a dangerous situation, but at the same time, it wasn't like Corinna was actively trying to make him fear her, but instead, her actions were simply her natural response to being threatened or angry. While some would probably think of that as something uncivilized, to not suppress her instincts, for Corinna, it was exactly the same thing that separated wolves from house pets.

About her attacking Damian... Outrageous... Corinna never attacked the boy. She didn't want to hurt him or anything. She would only give him a little bite and taste a little bit of his blood, besides the fact that he would probably also feel pleasure with that. There was nothing wrong with that. Or at least that is what Corinna thought herself...

"Four things come not back: the spoken word, the spent arrow, the past life, and the neglected opportunity, Nabriales..." Corinna said, without even a single hint of changing her mood.

"The harm has already been done, alchemist. I never intended to kill or hurt that boy. I was only going to... taste him. And I was not lying about him liking that. He would certainly find some pleasure in my bite..." Corinna said, changing her unsettling calm smile, but not her eyes, with a mischievous smile for a brief second.

"Regarding your possessions, the costs of having one's pride damaged, are far superior to that. Especially if it was sullied by another person... Besides that, you should not doubt my speed, precision and gracefulness. Collateral damage is not something acceptable for me... Especially when I'm playing..." she said, without changing her expression.

"Answer me one thing, Nabriales... Would you be comfortable if the situation was the same, but instead, in my lair? Bringing me here without my acknowledgement can already be interpreted as wanting to intimidate or subdue me. Not exactly a good start for a healthy conversation, don't you agree?"

"I know very well that you have the advantage while we are here. I assume this is enough to justify my hostile behavior." she said, watching him as he summoned more wine, probably trying to appease her. Unfortunately, the mood was already sullied. His continuous, albeit subtle, threats did a tremendous work in offending her greatly. Even though Corinna herself was rather interested in the potions he claimed he was able to do with her silk, the best choice right now was to leave.

"I appreciate the food and the wine, but unfortunately, the mood was already sullied. I believe the situation we're in right now is beyond repair. Even though I am rather interested on the potions you spoke of, and I'm equally sure that you're also interested in my silk, a negotiation right now is simply impossible. I may return to your store someday, to try to make a deal with you again, if you are really interested in my silk, but if you try anything funny, or if you say anything that hurt my pride again, then it will become clear that we are really and truly incompatible" Corinna said, still staring directly in his eyes.

"Your continuous, albeit subtle threats and actions did a marvelous job in creating this hostile atmosphere. Now... Mr. Nabriales..." Corinna said, patiently waiting for his next action.

"The clock is ticking... The time is running thin, and so is my patience... This entire situation is incredibly uncomfortable for me and for you. I would appreciate if I could leave without having to resort to bloodshed. I don't wish to disrespect the old customs I've been following for my entire life." Corinna said, in a clear message that he should let her go. It was oddly similar to a snake coiling itself, ready for striking when it was feeling threatened. Although it was clear that she wouldn't attack before being provoked, it was equally clear that she would fight if she had to. That simple fact not only answered some questions about Corinna herself, but raised many more...

Ominar, Victorious Secrets
Day 3: 9am
interacting with:
@Tuujaimaa's Nabriales
and
@Raijinslayer's Damian

As she heard Nabriales talking, she immediately stopped drinking and eating. The atmosphere in the room, which was already tense, became a whole lot worse. Instead of curiosity, Corinna's eyes now showed only hostility. Instead of interrupting him, she simply listened to what he had to say. That was the most terrifying thing on that situation. She never opened her mouth as he was speaking, she only stood still, with her eyes fixed at him, not moving one single muscle. She just kept silent and listened as the man disrespected and belittled her, with a terribly calm and serene expression.

He played with her, insulted her, and thought she would simply lower her head and do whatever he wanted? The charismatic behavior that Corinna herself had recognized as charming before, now was nothing more than just irritating. Every movement he made with his hands, every word that got out of his mouth, the way he raised his eyebrow, the way he simply continued to eat his food as she was talking...

It was simply unnerving.

"Don't you ever dare to interrupt me again, rude little man." Corinna said, after he was finished.
"Don't you know how to treat a client? Don't you know the basic rules of etiquette? I am a guest, and yet, you played with me, insulted me and even threatened to kill me... How uncouth and rude..."

"Your arrogance truly knows no boundaries, Nabriales... Who would have thought that a simple alchemist wants to teach the weaver how to use her own silk... Such rudeness... You're not even worth playing with. Its laughable, really... You call me arrogant, ignorant, threatened to kill me and even had the audacity to tell me that you would 'forgive me' for my trespassing and you still expect me to follow with your pitiful little games?" she said, taking the silk that was resting on the table and putting it on her mouth, eating it.

"You are unexpectedly ignorant for someone who speaks so highly of himself, aren't you? Well... I think its to be expected that a fool who speaks so highly of himself, to be nothing more than just that. A fool. You're just an arrogant alchemist who thinks too highly of himself and either doesn't have a sense of self preservation or doesn't know the meaning of true danger." Corinna said, with a frighteningly calm expression and posture, the only thing giving away her rage being her eyes...

"The only reason you are still alive is the fact that I drank and ate from your table, and unlike you, I'm not as uncivilized as you to threaten my own guests, or in my case, my hosts..." she continued, her eyes not leaving his not even for a second.

"Otherwise, 'you would well and truly finished', foolish alchemist. You don't understand the situation you're in, Nabriales." Corinna said, saying his name almost as if it was an insult.

"You have never faced true danger on your life, have you?" she asked, as he walked towards her.

"I would not advise being this close to me right now..." Corinna said, in a very serious and hostile tone.

"You have exactly 5 minutes to take me out of this room, back to the entrance, otherwise I will not hold myself back anymore..." she said, with her eyes burning with the desire to kill.

"This is your last chance, Nabriales. You have two choices: You can either let me go and live to see another day, or risking to know how dangerous and cruel I can really be." Corinna said, her sharp, terribly white fangs showing as she said those last words.

"I would advise you to be quick... Do not think your words have no consequence. Take me back to the entrance of the store, right. now." she said, still looking at him.

It was incredibly unsettling the way Corinna was talking and acting. The worst thing was that her words and her expression did not match at all... It was almost impossible to say that she really meant those words, only if it wasn't for her eyes...
The beautiful, seductive eyes from early, now showed nothing but an almost palpable hostility. It was almost like that gaze was emitting a physical pressure... Anyone looking at those eyes would surely know that she was not joking.
Nyna

Fighting like that was... annoying for Nyna, but it was the only option, due to the terrible terrain they were in right now. The other death hounds, after seeing what happened with the one she cut, immediately bolted in all directions, surrounding her, obviously trying to get her from multiple angles, evading her blade. It would be dangerous... She had to do something. Nyna wasn't a tank. In fact, she wore almost no armor. Her advantage was exactly on her mobility, which was currently taken away, due to the terrain. She could move the Lunar Edge very quickly, but the amount of enemies nearby would overwhelm her sooner or later. She had to do something.

Making the Lunar Edge spin rapidly around her, forming a ring, she continued attacking the enemies who got near her and at the same time, discouraging other enemies who wanted to get near her. But that would only work for so long. If they all jumped at her at the same time, surely one would be able to pass trough her blade.

"Get up on my shoulders. I have a plan!" Spooky said, interrupting her thoughts.
Nyna looked at him, for a bit, confused. But shortly after, she understood what he was trying to do. Due to the circumstances, it would undeniably be the best option.

But before she could answer him, she saw a small thing running towards her, while passing underneath the other skeletons. She was already assuming a posture, ready to kick it, but when it came closer to her, she was simply unable to touch that creature...
It wasn't just a simple rat. The disgusting thing was covered in pus and wounds...

With an audible gasp and a very disgusted expression, she immediately called the Lunar Edge. The blade came quickly flying towards her, almost like it was going to hit her but this time, it wasn't spinning. Nyna flew in the air with a powerful leap, passing inside the bladed ring as she did so, grabbing the weapon with her hand, landing on Spooky's shoulders shortly after. Her landing was surprisingly weightless, the speed and height she jumped, one would probably expect quite an impact, but she simply landed on his shoulders.

"What is that thing?!" Nyna said, with a disgusted expression, sitting on his shoulders, putting her arms around his neck and pressing her thighs against his helmet for a second.

"I-I'm sorry!" Nyna said, releasing her grasp on him.
"But it's not entirely my fault!! Look at that disgusting thing!! I Would kick it, but... EWW... Its simply too disgusting for me to even touch it..." Nyna said, throwing the ringed blade in the air, making it spin around Spooky, cutting any creature foolish enough to try to approach him.

"I'm sorry to be useless like that... Its only because my fighting style is mainly based on my mobility... And with all this mud around... It gets pretty hard to move, you know?" Nyna said, with an awkward smile.

"So... Any idea on how we will get away from all these creatures? I mean... We need to get somewhere before gets dark, right?"

@BurningDaisies @Thecrash20

Yasha

The first signal that they were approaching the fort was the vision of a stone tower in the horizon with a long, silver banner on top of it.
Approaching the fort, it was quite an interesting sight to see. The fort itself was built into a craggy hillside, with some guard posts and barracks, with the only way in and out being a narrow gravel road. It was almost something out of the fantasy books she used to read.

Surrounding the fort, Yasha was able to see a lot of makeshift stalls, wagons and a surprising number of people coming and going. As Lessig has said earlier, they would probably be able to find a carriage going to Arcos from there, as it was an active trading post. And even if they didn't find one, she could simply use her magic to go there flying... Although it wouldn't be that discreet...

It took a few hours, but they were finally there. Surprisingly, nothing happened on the way. No bandits or animals, all in all, it was a pretty peaceful travel. LEssig was a good man, as it was evident after he started to talk cheerfully about his daughter, which was an adventurer herself, his life & etc.

Getting out of the wagon, she turned to Lessig.
"Lessig, It was a pleasure traveling with you. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness." Yasha said, bowing in a formal greeting.
Yasha raised her head just in the moment to see Selena running away on her own, stopping near one of the stalls nearby, and Senna going to a weapon merchant.

"She is... awfully energetic, isn't she?" Yasha thought to herself, with a discreet smile. Somehow, Selena made her remember of Nyna. She wondered what happened with her... Making a quick mental note on where Senna and Selena were, she dismissed those thoughts.

There were things to be done, and wondering about the past wasn't a good idea. With that though on her mind, she started walking around the fort. It was quite obvious that she was incredibly out of place there, especially due to her clothes, and the magic rifle on her hand. It wasn't surprising to see that she was drawing a lot of attention to herself, but Yasha wasn't that annoyed by it. She liked the style of those clothes. And being noted wasn't that bad. In fact, it could lead to some... interesting developments. Yasha walked with confidence and a noble like air. In fact, that wasn't part of the 'persona' she created a while before when she met Lessig, but she indeed did have that confident and regal air to her. The only big difference was that her words were much more sharper and venomous than the words she said to Lessig. Anyone talking to her 'real' self, would notice that she wasn't just a cute, naïve girl.

Instead of buying anything, or asking for information, Yasha simply kept walking around, analyzing both the people nearby and the stalls... Going after something she wasn't sure herself wasn't the best course of action right now. The opportunity to do something would surely present itself with time...
