Y'know with all the new Isekai concepts coming out, I wonder if there is an isekai concept for "Reincarnated as a Truck that sends people to other worlds"

The Angel of War

Camael

People were slowly beginning to arrive. It was about time too. Camael enjoyed people keeping track of the time. He also enjoyed fighting, and maybe he had spent a majority of his yesterday manually drawing straws for everyone until he found the pairs required. The pairs he had written on a little note located in the pocket of his trench coat. It was safe to say some of them were lopsided but otherwise. All around they seemed pretty par for the course considering that they were going to be dealing with another group of angels. Lopsidedness of fights has to be accounted for. It is just one of the examples of combat mastery.

Still. Akemis notion of wishing to prepare tea had to be answered. "Yes, Akemi, child. Please if you would be so kindly, you may make us some tea to go with this glorious combat." Camael said answering his 'Two of Spades', Certainly he hadn't met her under the best conditions. Fallen angels were certainly a problem and scourge that should be erased for even comprehending the betrayal of god. Even after his death. That should only strengthen ones conviction to keep the system of heaven intact.

Alice came down, To which Camael responded to her a morning greetings with a similar greeting of his own. Here was his Ace a trigger happy laser firing mage whom he was the first person whom he had made a saint under his regime. She understood the rules more then most. She also probably knew more about his weaknesses then anyone else. Fighting her would be a real challenge. If it wasn't for the fact that he knew that wouldn't be the case due to already figuring out the pairings the night prior.

Chris was here. Oh so infallible Chris. The building was pretty much well defended against any demonic instrusion due to the energies that have been soaking into its walls from Camaels sustained presence. Alexander on the other hand handled anything else that may dare to enter the sanctuary without permission.

Speaking of Alexander, the old friend of Camael was here, lecturing the mistake chris. Suriel was here too. Of course that was two more to add to the fray of ever growing people Camael had met then revived to join his well. Army. To say the least he wouldn't really have anyone else. These people have worked hard to getto this point. He would continue to make them work harder to reach even greater heights. If to say the least he was competitive enough to want his group to become the strongest in heaven.

Soon enough though. There was the arrival of another more controversial one of his choices. Teshiko, She was once a fallen angel. Certainly. Her sin wasn't one to do with war though. It wasn't anything he could really grudge her for. She didn't flee her comrades. She didn't become a traitor. She only forgot to make precautions when having intercourse with someone whom she'd loved. That was certainly nothing to be punished for eternally. Camael hoped he was a positive enough influence upon her to prevent her from becoming a fallen again and to help her reconcile with her past mistakes.

Soon enough one of his worst yet best choice. Suisei coming in with food like usual was a nice touch. Everyone needed something to eat and his hand outs were prime to be useful. "Thanks for the omelette." Camael said indifferent. "I'll eat it during my observation of the matches today." He said as he put it to the side giving Suisei a light grin.

With Johannes being the last through the door. Looking as scruffy as ever in Camaels opinion though he wasn't one to talk. Camael took center stage in order to address everyone as a group. He had his aura of authority very much present what with his full trench coat and stoic face that showed eyes that had been hardened with many centuries of battle.

"Greetings everyone, now that I believe we are all here I believe we can start the training. Today will be simple one on one matchs. I believe Alexander will be able to use his magic in order to shield the interior of the building. In order to prevent any concerning damage though I do believe we should try to hold back on the massive destruction spells." Camael said giving Alice a very stern look of 'I know what you were planning but no I cannot allow it.' type look. "Any injuries after the match can be covered by the people not fighting. Meaning that yes. We will have short recovery breaks between fights. "A match begins once both angels have unfurled their wings and a match ends once one side either concedes or the enemy is downed for 10 seconds, or the enemy is unconscious. Causing injury and breaking bones is allowed. Though the match will be stopped in the winners favor if it becomes excessive, other then that be as honourable as you feel necessary." Camael summarised finishing of his speech before he removed the note from his pocket.

"Right so, I bet your wondering whom you'll be fighting. Well. The first pair of matchs are... Alexander v Johannes and Teshiko v Miss Sinnot." Camael said point at the pairs as he said it. "The next pair of matchs are Chris v Surial and Alice v Akemi." Camael said pointing to the second pair. "Which leaves the final match of the day..." Camael said pointing at Suisei. "Myself and Suisei here." Camael said with a wry smile. That was certainly going to be a highlight of the day. Of course he would have to reserve himself to the strength of a four winged angel but that just made the fight all the more appetising. After all Combat was the greatest way to service the lord and to protect the followers of his divine will.

Winter had sworn she was tagging along with the halfling and stuff...

She had been talking to the halfling for barely a moment before here she was. Dragged down the road like some slab of meat. Ironic considering thats just how she liked to carry her own food if it was too large for her to carry normally. She was being paraded. That was fine. Completely fine. Mommy taught her to wait patiently for any and all prey. This was applicable here right? Just deal with it paitently. Don't curl up scared and get all defensive. As long as she kept the coat tight and revealed nothing of her figure. Nobody would be traumatised with madness.

Then the Halfling got too close so close in fact she had to retreat her head further into the hood like one of the fluffiest forms of turtles one could possibly ever conceive. "P-please don't come to close miss, I don't want to accidentally cause you any lasting mental trauma!" Winter said quickly as if trying to get her warning out as fast as possible before the Halfling tohught it'd be okay to go for another round of trying to get to close to her real appearance.

The eager little green skinned friend of hers went off to talk to others leaving young winter frozen in place as she had to get her little bit of anxiety out of the way. Deep cold breaths of air in and out. Her face slowly went back to normal. She raised her hand quickly

"So..." Winter began under her breath as if she was wanting to get going but didn't have the spine to speak any louder then the faintness she had just exhibited. She hoped someone would catch on.

She had finished her drawing, It was simple. It was a self portrait.

Liliana cursed under her breath. Why couldn't she remember exactly what she looked like prior to the self infliction of lichdom. She knew she had rushed the process but the sacrifices it made her take. She has had to compensate for some things that was for sure. The main thing being the loss of identity though that was okay. She's still herself. Even if she doesn't remember her name. Her personality and experiences prior to death are still intact. She's still her. Nobody could tell her otherwise.

It was a good few more moments before she noticed the presence of the Soggoth. Didn't she get it? Liliana didn't want anything to do with her. Her anger towards the thing was just replaced with a sadness of being ignored. Everyone ignored her. That wasn't new. Why was it, The Shoggoth, being silent? Was it sorry? Well, funny. It hasn't said it was sorry. So therefore its just here to torment her. That is the only logical conclusion Liliana could get from this... This thing that just didn't understand her at all. If it wanted to serve her. It could do so. By going away.

A familiar clinking of silver and steel caused her eyes to widen. Was the Dullahan here to lecture her some more? To make her change... Like those girls wanted her to. How it ended up like this. No. She was proud of herself as she was dead or not dead. Nobody was going to make her change. She clenched her fist as the dullahan stood beside her, she was going to totally-. She paused. They were saying sorry? Though the Dullahan seemed to be very phobic of calling her anything in terms of friendship. At least she was being applicable. Approachable, redeemable. Unlike some horror. Liliana looked at the Dullahan in the eyes for a moment, a geniune look of thankfulness and kindness, giving the dullahan a slight hug before letting. Go resuming her normal attitude.

"About time you came around to apologising to me." Liliana said with her usual huffy attitude of holier then thou though it seemed to be slightly toned down in Arletta's case, maybe as a way of paying her back for her understanding and the fact she is also a fellow undead. "Honestly, you should of understood sooner. People wonder why I rarely hang around with people." She said tapping her head shooting Arletta a smirk as she was genuinely in a better mood now. "Still, Who invited the big fluffy brute of a Minotaur?" Liliana mentioned as she motioned over to the Minotaur whom appeared to be making more headway then her on this entire quest. She stood up. She had to sort this out nobody was going to overthrow her as team leader.

"Whats going on over 'ere hey? I should skin you alive for not giving us the courtesy of greetings Minotaur." Liliana said as she walked over. "Also a priest, nice, certainly I bet you wish I was in the ground and dead like I am supposed to be but what can you do am I right priest?" Liliana said with a grin. "So why the secrets anyway, is it about the choir boy? If you know what I mean." Liliana finished summarising up her bit of hatred for the church and even the notion of a benevolent entity. "In all serious though, Why didn't you do as Beef Slab said and just post the secret on the board? Surely that would of saved you explaining it to us now?" Liliana looking personally displeased with the priest as if he was just another pebble on the curve.

"So Priesty priest. What information do you wanna give us that we have to solve, only to find out it's nothing extremely important and we get home to the guild all happy at the end of the day?" Liliana commented aloud as if purposely trying to extract as much information from the poor man of the church as she could. Her eyes more interested in what was up with the... Male Minotaur. She had a lot of experimenting to do. First Arletta and now this Minotaur.

It seems the fun would never end
