@Mictlan93 First off, would like to say that I'm glad you were able to find a faceclaim that you thought fit your character.

As for the character himself, I like what you did with his bio and the approach you took with how his powers would represent him having Demeter blood. You made a mention on how he wasn't looking forward to having siblings. It should be interesting when he meets Delilah and Jay hehehe.

In either case, all seems to check out here. You got my acceptance. :)

Music Appreciation Thread

@Heat It's probably hard to believe, but that is his real voice. From the lower registers to the higher, female-sounding levels. The guy is crazy good at doing both the male and female voices. If you want a good example, you should check out his cover of A Whole New World from Disney's Aladdin.

@Lady Amalthea 10/10 just for the fact that I totally relate to it. XD It had me bursting into laughter by end of the first verse. A great find. :D

@Mictlan93 I know this is just to give me a taste of Gabe, so I won't say that much about the character sheet you used, but when you make the final submission, I would like to ask you to use the one given. It just makes things a lot easier for me. As for Gabe himself, I rather like him. I see why you said that my face claim for Jay was close to Gabe. They do have similar features. And you even have Gabe being into cooking. Their personalities seem to be quite different, though. Jay's more reserved and polite, but does have his moments of small doses of anger. Gabe seems to just be your every day antisocial, hot-headed punk kid. xD

I look forward to seeing your final submission. I think Gabe could really fit in with the peeps at Olympus Academy. :)

@Altered Tundra I've been looking for another Demigod-based RP to hop into after the previous one I attended took a dive into oblivion. And by the sound of things, this one just opened back up? I was hoping I could insert an old character of mine here (reworked so he fits better within this setting, of course), a angst-riddled son of Demeter that has a habit of dragged along on endeavors by much happier people.

As far as posting goes, are the pictures absolutely necessary for posting? As long as I've had my character, I never did find an actor I would think matches the likeness of my character (though, it seems your character, Jay, checks off a few of Gabe's appearance details which I thought was kind of funny). Could I show you the old sheet to see how much of the existing information lines up with what's presented here?

Well, first let me thank you for showing interest in joining. :)

As for the second thing, it is required to have a faceclaim picture(real life only), yes, but as for ICly, it's only preferred(but not mandatory). If you've looked through it, you would see that there are some that do not put their character's pictures on top of their posts. But, as far as the CS goes, it is required. I hope that answers your question.

From Otaku to Weeaboo — Humorous Anime Synopsis Thread

Modeled after @tsukune's From Oscar to Raspberry — Humorous Movie Synopsis Thread, this one will be the Anime variety.

So that no one is confused on it, I will copy paste the rules that tsukune did for the original.

Here's how it works:
1. Choose any well-known movie - either individual titles or as a collective series
2. Write a summary - just a short one of 1 to 2 sentences will suffice
3. The catch? The synopsis has to be in such way that it makes the movie sound (utterly) worthless

TL;DR:
= Refrain from using profanities as much as possible. You don't need to resort to lame curses to be humorous.
= Seriously, no essay rants. No one is going to bother reading that and it's not even remotely funny
= To anyone who may be fans of the movies mentioned in this thread, this is purely for entertainment and no bashing is intended. Don't like what you see here? Then don't even come in here in the first place.
= Recurrence of titles that have already been done is allowed, but please don't plagiarize other people's summaries.

Just replace anything to do with film/movie with anime and that's how you do it.

@ObscurusGlad you agree. :) I know you were one of the few that initially were against it(within reason too), but I think it was for the best. And hopefully with this new — and rather welcomed, might I add — activity, we could finally get back to the amount of activity we had in the beginning.
