Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

I will never show empathy for a bigot or a man who believed empathy is a made up term. Simple as that.

@POOHEAD189 First off, Climate Change was invented by the Hawaiians to offset the supsicions from their volcano gods that they weren't using authentic seaweed for their cooking. Sexi boiz are naturally short. You'd know this if you read your TheOnion articles. And as for God giving medical care, what do you think the gift of Christ is for? It certainly isn't there so it can waste away, or else he would've died for nothin, my dude.
@POOHEAD189 Yo man, go look it up. There are scientific facts and shit. Totally legit.
Just think about it guys: Trump drinks diet coke. That stuff is known to be bad for your health. The aspartame specifically is said to be worse for you than if you drank regular soda.
Y'all are wack.

And we're your problem! :D
Considering new projects.

Damn it, Gio, where have you been, man?! I've missed you, bro! >.>
While it may have started out by Jaakuna trying to subdue Savayna without hurting her, that was proving to be a useless endeavor. She was so focused on hurting him with everything that she had and being trapped in some sort of brainwashed state by her own mind that had convinced her that Jaakuna and Nadeline, who were both doing everything they could to snap her out of this daze, weren’t real and the people in front of her were trying to kill her. Of course, in a direct response to that, she did everything she could to kill them before they did her in.

That’s exactly what brought the two, former lovers in the situation that they both found themselves in. After repeatedly dodging and deflecting just about every attempt Savayna had made on his life, Jaakuna was successful in making sure Savayna didn’t sustain any serious injury. She might’ve had a few minor or moderate burns that had scorched away parts of her dress, but there was nothing life-threatening done to her by Jaakuna. He wasn’t trying to hurt her - just overwhelm her enough so she would see the truth.

It’s not working.

No shit Sherlock.

Jaakuna had to put the thought that Belias had put out there out of his mind for the time being. His comments weren’t helping the already-stressful-enough situation that he was in with his ex-wife. Everytime that she felt the need to blast her way through his wall of flames or a powerful fire spell he would set up in advance as an attempt to halt her movement, she proved that she was more than capable of clearing the way with her increased strength. He couldn’t quite place how her power was increasing.

“I got you now!” Savayna screeched.

She was above Jaakuna. When he looked up, he saw that half of her body was encased in some reinforced crystal-like armor. It resembled magicite but it had a glossier shine and seemed way sturdier than any magicite ever was. She had her sword above her head and as she shifted her body down, so did her sword. From the tip came first a breeze unlike any before it and then the smallest particles of ice created from the freezing winds solidified in no time at all, causing them to double and triple in size over a dozen times over. This had threatened to surround Jaakuna in a several layered-tomb of ice.

Three seconds until complete cryostasis. Belias informed Jaakuna.

And in those three seconds, Jaakuna had decided to do exactly what he had said he’d never do at the start. His eyes had went completely white, then flashed several shades of gold and red. Then, as his mist would surround him in twice as many layers as what Savayna had created to threaten to freeze him where he stood, Jaakuna reached up with his extended arm. From his fingers, literal mist fingers went forth at blinding speeds and had Savayna by the throat.

For nearly a full five seconds, Savayna fought it, trying to force her way out of it, but as the hold became tighter, Savayna lost all will to resist. Her attack ceased as her sword fell from her hand. When it fell, Jaakuna looked at Savayna’s dangling body. Her eyes were still on him. DEspite his efforts, she still hadn’t lost her consciousnessYou are certainly a determined one, but you must know I am not your enemy. Though Jaakuna spoke, it was obvious that it had changed into that of Loghrif.

When he spoke, it was obvious to him that Savayna still saw him as a fake. Despite being subdued and at the mercy of Logrhrif, her stance hadn’t changed. This was noted by her continuing attempts to cause harm to him even as she had limited options. She flicked her finger and a blast of ice came from behind.

"Pitiful really." Loghrif said, letting the blast hit him. To Savayna surprise, it had no effect on him. He didn’t so much as flinch as the cold breeze made direct contact with his bare back. I do not understand why Jackson was so easy on you. And why he holds such a-- Loghrif’s body twitched. He scowled lightly, though let out a content smile. Very well. He said, looking at Savayna, he wishes no further harm to you, so I will do as he commands.

Savayna looked at Jaakuna as she was gently let down. Though confused, she grabbed her sword and took a few, large steps back. In the time it took her to do that and Jaakuna to return to normal, she kept her stance, though as Jaakuna’s emerald eyes returned, his first sight was the ground. Savayna had yet to notice it, but all went according to plan. “And checkmate.” He said confidently.

“What do you mea--” Savayna went to finish that thought while moving, though she had realized something rather crucial. “What is the meaning of this? Why can’t I move!?” She demanded to know.

JAakuna ignored Savayna’s barking as he gave Nadeline a smirk of approval, jumping into the air and landing next to Nadeline. “I honestly thought you were stalling on purpose.” Jaakuna whined, “but it went just as you said it would. She never saw Loghrif coming. Now, hurry and do your thing.”

Ava didn’t know what was worse about these final moments: that Anna had maintained her too-happy-for-her-own-good positivity or that everyone seemed to be in copious amounts of it as the final countdown was starting. Sixty seconds of idiots going around, hugging and smiling at each other. Either they were family members or they were people who just felt overjoyed that it was a new year. Just because it marks the end of the shittastic year that was 2017 didn’t necessarily mean that 2018 would be any better.

And yet, as the crystal ball came down and a dramatic tune came on from the DJ that was meant to hype up the final countdown, she saw exactly what she expected. Husbands and wives arm-in-arm, their sons and daughters joining in and various significant others all were looking at each other as if they were gazing into each other’s eyes for the first time. Nothing would give her more pleasure than knocking some sense into the masses, but she had to refrain from doing that. She was actually trying not to be the problem child. No matter how large the urge, it was, at the least, something amazingly shocking that she had a neutral expression.

Not even halfway through the final countdown and she had enough. Ava had enough of the smiles and laughter and all of the jovial energy. She took back what she wasn’t going to do. Ava had promised herself that she wouldn’t knock some sense into these people. She really tried not to, but if she didn’t get away from everyone, she was going to lose it. So, she politely - well, polite for Ava - excused herself from whoever remained of the crowd after Anna had left a bit ago. She couldn’t even tell you who was left if you were to provide a collage of pictures of those around. Perhaps it was rude, but Ava didn’t care at this point. She just had to get out of there.

Thankfully, she rushed out of there before people decided to hog the floor space and block the exit(or entrance, depending on perspective) to the balcony. Compared to the jungle inside, the chilly breeze that rushed at her, causing the smallest hairs all over her body stand up was a welcomed feeling. Though initially irritating, once Ava had allowed herself to get used to it, she let out a relieved sigh.

She leaned forward against the balcony railing, her eyes falling on the Manhattan skyline. She never did take the time to appreciate just how beautiful it was. She has heard stories of its genius and how each building, no matter how different they were, held a certain individuality, yet somehow complimented the one next to it. Not to mention the dark sky and the stars, and all of the buildings lit up like a fucking Christmas tree, it provided with a calming sight. It almost made it seem like those inside the party wasn't as obnoxious as they had been all night.

“Well, at least it’s quiet out here,” she commented lowly. Ava sighed, trying to block out the cheers. “I guess it’s officially the new year. Yeah, like I give a damn.” Ava sourly scowled, turning her head to see another person out here. She was surprised, to say the least. She figured everyone at the party was all about that life. “So, what’s your excuse? Just enjoying the view or had enough of all the white privilege doing white privilege things?”

When he had felt the force of his darling, twin sister brush past him, Alexandros couldn’t help but chuckle to himself as he saw her dainty figure make surprising headway through the crowds of people. They, of course, didn’t see it as entertaining as he did, but they simply didn’t know Ava like he did. She wasn’t in favor of these settings and he knew more than anyone how she felt about new years. He wouldn’t put it past her to complain to anyone who would listen to how idiotic the concept of “new beginnings” was.

Oh well, that just meant he would be able to scope out the room without having to worry about her policing what he did. He was thankful that his parents also seemed nowhere in sight. Though, at some point, in the last hour, Alexandros had lost Richard. They were going strong with a game they were playing with some random girls and see who could get the most numbers. It usually started with one flirting with a girl and the other going a few minutes later when they had purposely felt accomplished. In a way, it was like a game of tag. And though these girls seemed to be the type to be confident about their own selves, it couldn’t be denied that both Alexandros and Richard had different approaches to flirting. Alexandros was a little more upfront as compared to Richard’s subtle approach

So, perhaps that was why Alexandros was able to score more phone numbers than Richard. And being the person that he was, Alexandros flaunted that in Richard’s face. Perhaps he had been too busy being too self-involved in his own success or something else was at play, but Alexandros found himself with all of the numbers and no best friend to brag it to.

He let out a sigh, turning around so that his back was pressed against the bar. He scanned the immediate area, seeing all sorts of potential. Looks have been given to him as he moved from one person to the next, not sticking his contagious eyes on one person for longer than a few, curious seconds. What he wanted to do was to see all of the selection before he made his move. After all, even Zeus had to scout before pouncing.

He finished his drink and asked the bartender for another. Though it seemed the female bartender was hesitant to give him another considering Alexandros’ not-so-legal age, he shot her one of his trademark smirks. Something about it seemed to sway her under his spell. And, again, Alexandros went back to screening the room.

Until he saw someone that caught his eye. There was just enough time left on the countdown to the new year for him to squeeze through the crowd of people already starting the countdown from twenty down to zero. He managed to speed up his walk into a borderline sprint and in the final ten seconds, without so much as saying but a single word, he embodied the great Zeus and brought this beauty close to him, earning a surprised shriek. There was an obvious, initial shock to being pulled into a kiss, but once the lips met and the confetti and exploded on top of the room, their eyes met and all defiance had left the room.

And, as Alexandros had given this scarlet-haired gem a single glance, his eyes had another focus: Audrey. She was no more than five feet away from him and much like she had done so the entire night, they had engaged in back-to-back death glares. It was the case an hour ago and it was the case right now.

“That was...amazing,” the girl Alexandros had just kissed said, almost out of breath.

He didn’t even acknowledge her, though heard her voice. He smiled. “It most certainly was.”

As the extended families of Huntsberg and Duclerc were called by the matriarch of the former, Alexandros saw the lack of attention that she was getting by those in the foyer, surmising that either they were too immersed in their own conversation to give her the time of day or she simply didn’t speak loud enough. For a moment, Alexandros was unsure what to do. He was a stranger in their house, so it wasn’t like the appropriate thing to do was be the first one to heed her call. However, there was also a part of him that felt bad for her.

A long minute went by and no one did nothing. Alexandros’ mind was telling him to move despite none thinking the same thing as he. Before he would even get the chance to do what he was going to do regardless, the familiar chirpings of a dainty brunette sounded off once more. The screeching sounds like a mouse with a megaphone repeated what her aunt said. Thanks to that, everyone took notice.

The families all walked into the main dining room. Alexandros couldn’t help but respect that cousin of Audrey’s. For such a little person to have such a loud voice and make people notice her, she was definitely related to Audrey. She demanded attention and whether or not people around her approved of her way going about it, Delilah Duclerc didn’t care. She had pride in her voice (as she should be). Alexandros respected that, though it wasn’t without consequences. He, once again, found himself struggling to hear. It didn’t last longer than a few, long moments. By the time he joined the others, he could hear.

After waiting only a few minutes for Elisabetha to decide the seating arrangements, most of the seats had been filled by the people in attendance. Alexandros couldn’t help but notice the absence of his darling brother. Knowing him, he was off elsewhere not giving any care to how it made their mother look. Alexandros took the time to subtlety look over to her and, though she appeared to be unaffected, there was a shine in her eye that Alexandros knew exactly what it meant. Eli was toast.

Alexandros felt bad that he was going to enjoy seeing his brother get it good, but at the end of the day, it was his own fault for bringing it upon himself. Whatever hell was pulled out of Pandora’s Box, he knew Eli wouldn’t be able to sweet talk his way out of it.

Food had been served and the families proceeded to eat and converse. The volumes were surprisingly calm with all of the people around. Truth be told, Alexandros thought these bunch would be a bit louder. Everything he had heard about hispanic families made him believe they were a rowdy bunch. But, as he had a keen ear on those who surrounded him, aside from a few, they were generally tame. Disappointment was obvious on his face, though perhaps that was what he got for making assumptions.

A mental note had been made. It would be cut short, of course, because Alexandros heard Audrey’s father speak directly to them. He made some comment about how they spoke earlier and Alexandros saw how that threw Audrey for a loop. He shouldn’t have been enjoying this, but the way she had to think of a bullshit excuse was priceless. Would she tell him about them or find some other reason to explain their acquaintance?

What indeed, Audrey?

When she finally started talking, Alexandros had this amused look on his face. He wasn’t sure where she was going with this. She could tell her father a bunch of things. She could say that he was the school womanizer and that they had slept together. She could’ve told him that they had just done it in her room a few times before coming down to join the rest of the guests. But no, she obviously couldn’t bring herself to do it. Alex saw it. She was going to choose the coward’s way out.

He had to hide his chuckle by subtly covering his mouth with his hand, though, he noticed that Ava saw what he was doing. She gave him a suspicious look. He gave one back, though it was to non-verbally tell her to shut up whatever she was thinking. Their eyes kept a deep lock on each other for the longest Mossos moment ever to exist. The only reason it was broken was because Arthur had addressed Alexandros after hearing what Audrey had to say.

“Yes, this is all true.” He confirmed what Audrey said, “but what your daughter failed to mention..” As Alexandros spoke, it seemed that every eye at the table was on him, though for the longest, brief moment, his eyes went elsewhere. The sight of his brother and Delilah’s sister caught his attention. They had just walked in and though no one at the table would know, Alexandros could tell exactly what was wrong with the way they talked and the way they seemed to be smiling. Even without hearing it from their mouths, he could tell they were high.

As the family would look at Alex curiously, as if wondering what he was going to say next, he collected himself and continued, “as I was going to say, when I had my first day at the school, she was the best guide. She showed me...exactly what I wanted to see.” He told Arthur, giving Audrey but a single look.

Both of them knew exactly what he meant. His family knew what he meant, but her family didn’t know. At the very least, that was a saving grace for Audrey. Perhaps now she would know he was entirely serious about them. Embarrassing her in front of her entire family would’ve been the one thing the old Alex would’ve done. But this wasn’t the old Alex. He was a new, understanding Alexandros Mossos. Whether that would stay the same throughout the dinner remained to be seen, but right now, Alex didn’t give Audrey any reason to doubt him. And better yet, he gave this image of him to her family that he was a good boy.

If only they knew...
