Do you think the reason Jesus Christ doesn't rise again is because we keep putting up crosses and he gets flashbacks on how that went last time?

I will never show empathy for a bigot or a man who believed empathy is a made up term. Simple as that.

There was quite the number of items that crossed Jackson's mind since he had made his unwilling arrival into the waiting room. He thought about what he was doing before he was encouraged to come to the U.D.F. Headquarters. His mind then wandered to the simple things that this world had to offer: the mountain ranges, the monuments built in honor of fallen warriors and the like, the plains that were so relaxing with the breeze of the wind on Jackson's face, and hell, even his burnt down village held a sort of sentimental value for Jackson. He had revisited it a few things over the decade he was exploring the world.

All of those things went through his mind but not once did he think about why he was here nor did he care. As far as he was concerned, these U.D.F. fuckwads can shove it where the sun don't shine. Not only didn't he care, if asked, Jackson may very well make their lives even more difficult. Was it childish? Perhaps. Was Jackson too old of a man to play these games? Never. If they wanted to drag him against his will like a child, then may the god's smite them and their children, he was going to act accordingly.

There was a time and a place for everything. Jackson couldn't remember where he heard that; probably from some book he was read to as a child. Who the hell knows, but it certainly applied to what he was feeling and experiencing at this very moment.

Jackson outstretched his arms and legs and unleashed an unreasonably, loud yawn. His eyes then went around the room. There had been new arrivals since the last time he checked. Added to the kid who kept to himself, some bald monk-type person joined them and then some young blonde. Jackson's attention stayed with her briefly, seeing her doing something with one of the fish. He shrugged, choosing to focus more on what that other chick had asked.

Before addressing that question asked, Jackson, did something unthinkable. He would actually consider his words carefully. Shocking to anyone who experienced his previous outburst, which was the kid with the fade and that brunette, he took just a few moments. And then, with a vocal 'a-ha', Jackson had then spoken, "Your guess is as good as mine, sweetheart. All I know is these dickweeds forced me here without so much as a valid reason. I'll tell you this, though," he leaned forward, vision going all around the room as if to garner the attention of everyone in the room, "if they don't hurry it up, I'm bouncing like one of them super balls. you know, the ones colored in swirls and that bounce as high as the eye can see." He nodded to himself as if confirming his resolve of what he just said.

INTERACTING WITHShawn, Zeke @Prosaic
MENTIONSShawn, Caroline, Brady Clan
TIME10:30-11:30 PM

Colin had been looking forward to this night all day. After he had made the conscious to go clubbing with his younger brother, he was feeling somewhat better about how shitastic the entirety of his day was. Honestly, nothing went the way he wanted to. The only thing that made sense was to unleash all of the stress and bad vibes he had been feeling for the majority of the day by kicking it with Zeke at The Edge. Lord knew that the Brady Brothers deserved it (not that Colin believed in that religious mumbo-jumbo).

Since he had sent the text about an hour ago, Colin had found the perfect outfit that consisted of one of his more expensive button-up, long-sleeve shirts, a pair of dressy jeans, and, of course, his trademark, mahogany leather jacket. No night on the town for Colin Brady was complete without that jacket that has made Colin famous around town -even in Chicago, he’s known, which was where Colin frequented.

After snagging his wallet and keys, Colin had exited his apartment. He got into his Ford F150 Truck. It was black with custom-made tires and rims that had a black on green scheme about them. He took the expressway. It was less traffic and the view of the town at night was quite relaxing and soothing for the soul. Plus, it was the quickest way to his parent’s house. That’s where Zeke lived at.

He pulled up in front of the house, honking a few times to let Zeke know he was here, though, after a few moments, Shawn came out. He didn’t look pleased. He had waved to Colin, signaling him to come over to him.

Colin rolled his eyes, but he knew the old man wouldn’t let this go, so he gave Shawn some of the time he had left. “Dad,” Colin stated rather unpleasantly, looking at his father with a sour expression.

“You can’t even come to the door and greet your parents?”

“I’m in a hurry and I’d rather not waste any more of my time that I’d rather be spending with Zeke.”

Shawn sighed, appearing displeased, “listen, I wish you would’ve told us you were going to take your brother out tonight. Your plans came out of nowhere and, well, I’m not too happy with you right now.”

“Oh god-forbid you have anything but contempt for me.” Colin rolled his eyes. His patience was getting to the point where he was about to blow up at his father.

“I really wish you wouldn’t disrespect our lord like that.”

“And I really wish you weren’t such a pain in--” Just as Colin was about to finish that sentence, he noticed Zeke came out the door. “You look great, bro,” Colin said with a smile, looking at his father, “don’t worry about us. I’ve got his back. I’m not going to let anything happen to him.” Colin stated, giving his father a stern look.

Shawn shook his head. A thought was evident on his face, but the look of pride on Zeke made that go away. “Have fun, Ezekiel,” Shawn said, giving Zeke a hug.

Zeke had noticeably cringed upon the use of his full first name.

Soon, the two brothers were on the road. Though Colin still had some pent-up anger towards his father, he pushed that deep down so he could instead focus on how much fun he and Zeke were going to have. “You know, the old man is right about one thing, Zeke. You do look like a champ. Real spiffy.”

Honestly, I was debating on whether or not I was destined to die of heat exhaustion before we even got to the Edge.” he arched an eyebrow when he said this as if he were actually contemplating the idea. “I mean, I love a nice blazer but I'm literally going to sweat right through it and ruin the whole effect that I was going for.

“I wouldn’t worry about it. The management of The Edge keeps the place relatively cool to accommodate for all of the body heat.”

He couldn't help but feel comfortable with Colin, there weren't many people that he could just relax with but Colin was one of those people. There was something distinctively easy about talking to his siblings, they understood him in a way that his parents never really seemed to. He had been practically crawling with hives ever since his father brought out the dreaded “Ezekiel”, it was the one thing that was always going to get a rise out of him.

He had noticed his brother's own tension though he did well in not commenting if his brother preferred to just have a night of fun then he wasn't going to damper it with an awkward discussion about how irritating their father could be. He was good enough at killing a fun mood with his somewhat grouchy demeanor. “You look good too, man, I think that you're going to outshine us both but that's a given.

When he smiled, it illuminated his face and it wasn't quite the same passive smile that he spared for the fine patrons of the Java. “I’ve kind of needed a break from the house, you kind of saved my ass. I've been arranging dead bugs all night and as cool as that is, it's uh, it's not that cool. I thought I had managed to sneak past Shawn but it's like he's always sneaking up on me.

“Look at you calling the old man Shawn.” Colin couldn’t contain his laugh - one of pride, mind you. “I bet that gets on his nerves? Or is this a new development and only around me?” Colin asked, giving his brother a playful smirk as they stopped at a red light near the square.

Oh, no,” he snorted, “I kind of think that habit rubbed off on me, it's been happening more and more frequently and it drives him nuts. I should try to stop but I'm in too deep now.

He really should try to stop, he knew that it was mostly just aggravating Shawn, who was already pretty aggravated with him but like he said, he was too deep in now.

The light had turned green and Colin drove forth, bringing them into the Town Square parking lot. “It might be annoying to him, but there’s not much he can do about it. You are coming into your own, Zeke. As I’m sure you’ll find this out sooner or later, there’s not much they can do to stop you from stepping out of their shadow. I am too far gone to bring any pride to the Brady name, but you are at the right age to do just that.” Colin said, rubbing Colin’s head affectionately, “now, it’s time for us to hit the club.” Colin stated, hopping out of the driver seat.

Zeke had a certain fear of stepping out of line when it came to his parents, though it might not be entirely evident in his mannerisms, it was there and he took what Colin said to heart. He looked up to Colin, despite the fact that Colin seemed to think that he wasn't bringing anything to their name. He was someone that Zeke incidentally saw as kind of a role model. “If it means anything,” the kid said, giving his brother an affectionate glance. “I don't think you give yourself enough credit. Shawn has his high expectations but I honestly think he's proud of you.

“Maybe.”

There was a kind of awkwardness about his natural compassion, he couldn't really help but feeling like he was maybe being a little cheesy. Whenever he said things like this, he tended to brush them right off and pretend like they had never happened. It was harder to do that with his siblings, especially because he'd always been very open with them.

He cleared his throat, stepping out of the passenger side and ruffling his hair to get it out of his eyes. “It's been a million years since I've been here if you want me to be honest with you. I mean, the last time was kind of impromptu and I was terrified that a cop was going to drive me home but at least I won't have to worry about that this time!

As Colin stood there, he looked over at Zeke with a grin, “technically a cop is still going to drive you home,” he laughed. This was just one of the many times that Colin Brady had given people a dose of his brand of humor. Classic, right?

You know what, I think I prefer having a police escort.” he nudged Colin with his elbow, “I mean, I didn't have to do any of the driving to get here, I'm practically in a free cab service.

“Don’t make me arrest you for being a wise ass.” Colin jokingly scowled then quickly followed up with a return nudge.

Why, officer, is that even legal?” he laughed despite himself, smoothing out his blazer and straightening his shoulders. “Let's go suffer amongst lots of dancing people like the nice Brady boys that we are.

Colin echoed Zeke’s action by straightening his own jacket. “We might be nice boys, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be a little naughty, as well.”

And, as the brothers were off to the club, they arrived at just the right time. The line wasn’t too long. Only about a dozen people were present and it was only within ten minutes did they make their way in. The club wasn’t packed just yet, but it was getting there.

The Edge and everyone present was about to find out just what the Brady Brothers brought to the table

In such a short time and in such ease, the combined efforts that the four Digimon had given to try and subdue the little, red riding mon seemed to fail. This had prompted Dante to give Leo and glance and he did the same to Dante. It wasn't so much one of worry but rather an annoyance. Dante couldn't have been the only one who felt this irritation at what had just transpired. It was as if their attempt was futile. For such a little dino...thing, this little bastard who, by all rights, was appearing to grow stronger, made little effort while it seemed Leo and the others really were giving it their all.

A moment or two later, Dante and Leo bore witness to what was happening before their very eyes. The little dino was growing stronger while the boy who looked to be around Dante's age was in some agonizing pain. It wasn't some usual, physical pain. This seemed to be some real deal suffering from within just as much as it was outside. Likely for the first time since being here, Dante felt a wave of dread and excitement mixing in with his worry for this guy who was likely partnered with the little dino. And, as Dante gave Leo a nod, the two were in agreement, it seemed.

Save for the new arrival who had the worst timing, Dante turned to the others. "Well, you heard our teach." Dante held his Digivice in his hand, grasping it tightly. When Dante and Leo stepped forward, it seemed to react to it. Shining somewhat faintly, Leo's body was shining faintly as well. He stood in front of Dante, their energy and ideals aligning, he went forward in a charge. Each step that Leo took resulted in his body generating a static field around him.

"Static Charge!" Leo shouted, taking to the air as he put his entire body weight into a tackle. It just so happened that his entire body was surrounded by a static aura that, upon contact, would result in all of that static electricity being transferred for the maximum electrical damage.

...Or so that was the hope of both man and mon.

When the news broke, at first everyone who knew Alexandros thought he was crazy. They thought that there was no way he could handle the load that he suddenly undertaken. They said he was mistaken in wanting to go down this route. They said that he would come to regret it. Every ounce of his inner-circle’s weight was devoted to trying to get him to see the error of his ways. They tried to get him to remember what he was before everything changed. They tried to get him to remember everything that he was giving up if he was going to stick around. And though there were moments of doubt, at the end of the day, Alexandros knew exactly what he really was getting himself into. Despite the outcry from some of his closest friends; friends that were more than members of the Mafia Elite’s children. They were, as some might note, his best of friends.

Yet, none of them could talk Alexandros Mossos out of dating the woman that gave him such a workaround for the longest time..

The night that the legendary playboy of Beverly Hills High had found himself into a committed relationship was, as both Alexandros and Audrey found out, the night that they were under some sudden attention from their peers. It was unheard of. To think that they, of all people, had found themselves together in more than just a sex-based engagement. It couldn’t be further from that. Soon, they became the power couple that everyone feared they would be, ruling the halls with each other.

As Alexandros had entered the final moments before he left his house for Audrey’s villa, he was coming down the stairs in his suit. It was the one suit he had been saving for quite the special occasion. Tonight was just an occasion. Handpicked by Greece’s best tailor himself, Baltazar promised it was the best that money had to offer for someone of Alexandros’ build.

He stood before his family -well, his parents. Eli was off somewhere. He had been gone for hours. Ava had already left for the ball. Against the better judgement from her entire family, she was with Jackson Drake. Alexandros didn’t let that ruin what was quite possibly the biggest night for both he and Audrey. He wasn’t about to sulk on his sister’s poor choice in individuals. Besides, he had to admit that he looked rather dashing. In a rarity, his hair was combed back and he was wearing minimal of his expensive, Italian cologne. He was told that it had a strong scent and strong scents were bad for the baby, which after some trial and error, Alexandros became more courteous to Audrey’s needs. Imagine that, right? He was actually considerate of someone’s feelings that weren’t his own. The prospect of being in love has changed him.

“You look so handsome, sweetheart,” Adrianna spoke with pride in her voice.

“I know.”

Well, Alexandros hasn’t completely changed.

“Stavros sure chose quite the suit. I may have to commission him for one myself.” Baltazar mused, smiling at his son, “so, are you ready?”

“I was born ready.”

“Tonight’s the night, isn’t it?”

Alexandros nodded. “Here’s to hoping it goes all according to plan.” Though it was rare, Alexandros had copious amounts of anxiety surging through his expensive veins.

“Remember to get her home at a decent hour.”

“Always.”

After a few more minutes of pictures, Alexandros had left his family home, heading to the garage. In a rare change of moods for him, he was afforded permission to take his father’s Lamborghini tonight. It was the same car that he had taken to Audrey’s pool party during that fateful day that he caught her with that ISIS-wannabe, Omar. As soon as he hit the accelerator pedal, the Italian engine purred throughout the Sunshine Hills neighborhood until he got on the freeway. Within ten minutes, he made it to Audrey’s house. His street racing skills had proven to be quite useful as he was in front of her house after an additional five minutes of traversing through the many houses.

When he stepped out, Alexandros approached the house. Though, before he would knock, he remembered the plan tonight. If anything, Alexandros would have to do it without fail. Nothing must go awry.

Uncharacteristically, he took in a deep breath. The next action was his closed fist knocking three times. The wait after the fact was the longest minute he had experienced, but worth it when he saw her the door. Not like the last time he was on the opposite end of this door, there wasn’t any awkwardness or feelings of grimace. This was if there was a word for it, awe. The way the dress cascaded around her natural curves was one thing, Audrey had this natural glow even after she had kissed and embraced him.

“You look amazing, love. I’m so lucky to call you mine.” She said, whispering in his ear.

A smile was his response, giving her one last look before he walked inside. The first sight was her parents, Arthur and Elizabetha. He shook Arthur’s hand and gave her mother a respectable hug. After some small talk, they would pose for pictures. He told himself this would only last a few moments, but as it would turn out, they kept them for over ten.

“As much as I’d love to take more photos with your gorgeous daughter, we should get going. But how about this! When we return, you can take all of the photos you want.” As the king of smooth-talking, Alexandros won them over with this proposal, though they would keep them an additional three minutes with the waterworks. After the fact, Alexandros and Audrey were free.

With haste, Alexandros led Audrey to the Lamborghini. They stopped, however, as Alexandros looked at her. “This is the same one I drove to that pool party of yours. Do you remember? It was when we were tested. Now, on this night, we will be given the biggest test yet: the test of winning King and Queen. Come on, let us show that we are the top couple of Beverly Hills High.”

After he gave her a kiss, they were off. The sound of the Italian machine reverberated throughout the neighborhood. Their destination was the Governor's Ballroom where the Valentine’s Ball was being held this year.

@Crimson Flame
I like to create my own. It helps me feel like they're more than just canon characters. Plus, I enjoy thinking of what a digimon can do other than the canon attack moves.
@Renny
By the way, boss, I hope it's okay if I make some edits to my character sheet. Specifically, I'm taking upon myself to add Leo's attacks. Right now, I've got his rookie form currently done. I'm working on the other forms right now - well, once I think of proper evolutions of each move. It's kind of my thing for digimon characters that I play.

Also@Tsukoreyu, love the character. He is edgy, but I don't think too much edge. Plus, I really love the Agumon line you chose. I honestly never considered the progression into Examon. Though, I suppose a dinosaur into a dragon knight isn't too far-fetched. Kudos to you for that.
