@FilthyWeeb So, would it be safe to assume that our characters, whatever they're doing, should be hearing their digimon call out to them in some regard? How much freedom do we have with it? I mean, should we stop at just the voice or could they appear from some kind of portal, too? Also what stage is ideal for them to show up?

As much as he tried, Hunter couldn’t bring himself to be as excited for this party as the rest of the boys were. Sure, if you put a drink in him, he’d probably smile, or if you gave him a joint, he’d probably relax more, but the truth was, his mind was too busy entertaining how fucking dreadful the week had gone one for. The truth was that Hunter kept thinking about how his ..what? Summer romance? Yeah, that’s what you would call it, not only went to his school, but thought he was ashamed of them.

Niki thought I was ashamed of them.

Well weren’t you? Aren’t you?

That was a question that Hunter asked himself repeatedly throughout the week. And repeatedly his answer wasn’t good enough to satisfy him nor his conscious. And after the hundredth time of revisiting it, Hunter decided not to ask himself anymore and focus on trying to enjoy his time with his bros.

Okay, one more time wouldn’t hurt: are you ashamed of Niki?

“No, I’m not,” he uttered quietly as the music muffled his voice from the others.

As they entered Christian Barker’s house, Hunter immediately side-stepped himself away from the boys. “Got a text--”

Liar, but go off.

“--I’ll catch up with you guys in a few.”

Hunter took out his phone just in case the others were seeing if he told the truth. He actually did go to his apps -- mostly Instagram. Specifically, Hunter checked his Wade account, wanting to see if maybe Niki had messaged him at all. Of course, per how life usually fucks him over after a strong couple of months, there was nothing.

His mind kept replaying that entire moment over and over again in his head. It was a broken record, a cow that was milked dry, but that didn’t stop him from obsessing over. Had he really been so caught up on the double life he lived as Hunter and Wade that he didn’t think once they’d collide, shit would hit the fan?

“Apparently I did,” he muttered.

His head was pointed down, eyes glued to his home screen. He didn’t see the person he bumped into until his chest collided with what he had to assume was the back of a shoulder because he felt himself tumble slightly forward and soon the sound of a glass bottle crashing to the ground caught his attention.

He groaned in a low, somewhat hoarse tone. “Sorry,” he said a bit louder, meeting the rather short brunette in the eyes -- well, he had to look down about nearly a foot as she was a lot shorter than he suspected. “I should have paid more attention.” Hunter couldn’t stop but gaze at her for a few. Old habits must die hard, because Hunter’s were already vertically tracing the girl from head to toe. Something about her seemed familiar, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. “Let me get you another beer. It’s the least I can do.”

Before she could respond or get a word in, Hunter took off into a brisk walk and went over to the nearest beverage table and grabbed not one but two bottles of beer. He capped off the bottle of both as he made his way back to the girl. “Here,” he said, extending his left arm forward so she could take the new, yet-to-be-destroyed beer in his left hand.

As the daughter of Addison Hart and Jade Drake-Hart, Savanna's prestige extends past her name and especially her personality - but rather, she has the genes of someone who understandably is very beautiful. Her skin is nearly flawless (almost to the point of being doll-esque) even without the aid of makeup and around-the-clock skincare products. Green eyes that often resemble emeralds and naturally-golden hair with dark roots that have been dyed platinum blonde with only the best hair dye money can buy. Everything about Savanna Hart is the very embodiment of someone who not only believes the hype around her beauty but has full control of what gets said about her. Savanna has her ears pierced but only the lobes, but she doesn't have any tattoos - at least not yet, anyway.

Savanna isn't the tallest girl out there nor does she present herself in a way that would tower over girls. By all accounts, her 5'2 stature and coming at an even 130lbs wouldn't give any reason for anyone to fear her like most at Marble Heights do, but there is more to Sav than her height; she has a grace that can't be denied. Whether it's the way her hair is styled, her ruby lipstick that has become an iconic - and signature - look for her, or her fashion chameleon ways where she can make even a school uniform become trendy, Savanna makes it work and then some. And she knows she's the shit, so she doesn't shy away from showing off the body that clearly her mother and her unknown father gave her, which is to say a lean, toned, but still surprisingly hourglass-esque body that is well-rounded in all the effective areas.

The creativity and vision to customize one's look is a trait Savanna inherited from her mothers. So when it comes to the uniform, Savanna spices it up in the way she knows how: not to change it but to improve it. Not so much her, though, but the fashion club at her "request" (and Skye's "encouragement"), her skirt has a more dominant gold lacking but still keeping the general look of the skirt the same. Savanna loves the way gold looks on a darker blue, so she wanted to have that represented. She loves the thigh-high socks (like a certain latina acquaintance of hers), so she didn't bother messing with those. And everything else is as it was when the uniforms were handed out to her -- just tweaked with her personal touch here and there.

Casually - well, Savanna Hart isn't known for casual per-se. She has a lot of clothes and a nearly unlimited allowance. Her outfits are never worn more than once unless she really likes them. Like a snake sheds its skin, Savanna has a rotating closet of seasonal-appropriate tops, skirts, jeans, boots, accessories, etc. The exception is her preference of single-colored blouses and some kind of skirt with thigh-high socks and some form of heels (color usually complimenting her blouse).

When you think of the name Savanna Hart, you might think she’s a diva. And you would be right. Another thing that might come to mind is that she’s kind of a bitch. And, again, your assumption would be correct.

Truth is, Savanna was raised this way.

No, not to be a bitch -- that she picked up somewhere along middle school. No, Savanna was raised to be confident and own every room she entered. Whether it was pre-k to the end of 8th grade or ruling the halls of Marble Heights Academy with a well-manicured, dainty-appearing iron fist, she does it with a certain grace that is both admired for how she walks but also that demands to be feared. She is the type to size you up and decide if she will make your life hell or not. Her meanness doesn’t always show at first, but cross her or if she suspects you are even remotely in her way, she will not hesitate to use every ounce of her influence to crush any hopes you have of climbing the social ladder.

What is there to say about Savanna Hart’s life? Anyone who is anyone knows her family. Anyone who is even remotely out from under their rock knows her mother, Addison Hart and the conglomerate known as HartCorp that she was born into. Anyone who keeps up with the fashion world or has seen at least one highly-fashionable TV series has seen Jade Drake-Hart’s clothes on the edgy character of that show.

Yeah, they don’t need any explanation. Addison is an iconic businesswoman whose legacy is her push for equality within the company her scumbag father started and Jade is an equally iconic fashion designer whose alternate style and take-no-bullshit attitude led to her leading the charge in a new wave of grunge/punk-inspired looks and makeup lines for girls and young women who ever felt like they were cast aside by society.

These are the two women that shaped Savanna into the person she is to day. These are the two women who, even though their jobs both kept them busy and Savanna had to deal with a revolving door of nannies and relatives who looked after her when they were too busy to do so -- for a time -- they always made sure she knew she was loved and they were there for her when it mattered. That’s what Savanna looked up to. Sure, she missed out on little things and part of Savanna might fall into the hole of resentment created by their absence, but that would be Savanna expecting them to be perfect.

Savanna knows her mothers aren’t perfect and she knows they have made mistakes, because lord knows that she isn’t either.

Sav’s perception of her mothers, though more favorable than most girls her age, has always been that they are who they are and have never disappointed her. But for as long as she could remember, growing up, even though her life was practically perfect, Savanna always wondered who her father was. And this was a question that had been lingering in her mind since she was ten, since all of the girls she grew up with: her friends, classmates, even the loners she had a bad day thanks to her tantrums - all of them had fathers. She never did.

Whenever she asked, Savanna never got a full answer. She never got a full answer, but simply half-truths. And the truth is, her father wasn’t someone her mothers felt like she should know. The truth is, her father is a convicted rapist. The truth is that her father is someone who forced himself on Addison, from which she got pregnant. The truth is he was someone that Addison had previously been involved with back in college.

The truth is that a month before he was set to be released from a fifteen-year stint in prison, Addison and Jade made the decision to not risk Savanna know about him or Viktor Ivanov having any chance of finding her. So that’s why Savanna was sent to boarding school. They claimed it was to give her the best education money could be, as Marble Heights Academy was one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the country, but the truth is: they feared for their daughter’s safety.

Was it logical? Maybe not. Was it what they thought was best for her? Absolutely.

And still to this day, Savanna doesn’t know about her father. She doesn’t know he’s been out of prison for nearly four years and how her mothers’ hid this from her. And it’s not like Savanna hasn’t been thriving at MHA. It only took a couple of years for her to ascend to the throne. Funny what a lifetime of the right influences can do for one’s confidence. Plus, her sisterhood is the cream of the crop.

The layers to the Queen of Ice, to The Diva of the Sisterhood aren’t just neat stacks of wanton wrappers waiting to be reduced down layer by layer. Savanna’s mind is a convoluted web of twists and turns, intricate depths hidden under the same four chords of a pop song. The chords sounds the same, but there is a story behind it.

Savanna might be known as the “head bitch in charge”. And sure, she has often played that part well (maybe a little too well at times), but like all great queens, Savanna has nailed her poker face. She knows when to play the part of Queen Savanna and when to drop the front. With her friends. And no, this isn’t just with her clique but those who truly know her, she is uplifting, charismatic, and above all else, fiercely loyal.

The blonde bombshell, as some have called her on twitter (not always with positive intentions), is someone who is always there for her friends. She just doesn’t just say it. When she says she’ll have a friend’s back, that’s exactly what she means. If anything, Savanna is a young woman whose words ties her to every facet of her rule. Loyalty is a two-way street for her and trust me when I say this, Savanna values that above all else.

Nicholas embodies the best of his parents' features. Though he inherited his mother's pale complexion (that which is cared for with skincare products), the main positives he received from her was a rare case where his blue eyes came from a few generations on her side - the Greys. His father's features are more pronounced in the way his eyes are shaped, the ridges of his eyebrows and how defined his jawline is. Much like Kavi Salvador, Nicholas Grey has a jawline that could cut through a tough steak without even trying. Nicholas' square forehead is one of his key features and dark hair that falls down, creating an almost diamond-like head shape is something he's come to the conclusion that has both of his parents (and maybe his grandpa Kai) written all over it.

As he stands at six-feet even, Nicholas' body is that of a dancer. All of his life, he has trained in contemporary dancing (and has even dabbled in ballet and tap). He also regularly works out, so he is toned all around, which only speaks to his OCD when it comes to his health. He is the kind of person who makes kale smoothies, kale chips, and basically any other superfood. He needs the energy to spend when he dances and works out

Staying true to his artistry and maybe even the elitist life he grew up in, Nicholas' style is very traditional but it also sings a song about his background. He wears slacks, sweats, jeans -- all of which are dark-colored and all of which are paired with some form of turtle necks and/or colorful, button-up shirts. They might be one color and some might be with floral patterns. Whatever pattern or color they might be, you can always expect Nicholas to wear them with a pair of loafers. Nicholas Grey is a no-sneakers kind of boy.

As far as his uniform is concerned, one can expect Nicholas to keep it as it came. As someone who was not only raised in the upper east side of New York, but embraced everything the UES was (especially the debutante culture), Nicholas takes pride in wearing his uniform as it was intended: his tie is only loose enough to not compromise his ability to breathe (same goes for how far up the shirt is buttoned up, pants and jacket are ironed every night, and his MHA-appointed shoes are cleaned every other day.

Most know Nicholas Grey as Billie Jean's athletic twin brother, but they also know him as the confident, very suave, very ..."charming" co-captain of the soccer team. They have seen him woo girls, boys, and those in-between. They've seen him carry himself in both a dignified manner with a certain grace that matches his skills as a trained dancer as well as his wordplay. But most importantly, Nicholas Salvador Grey has a rep for being something of a manwhore.

In a lot of ways, Nicholas Grey shares a lot of similarities with Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl. Both are white, both have dark hair, both can woo a girl or boy without even trying. Do you know what else they have in common? They both lack the ability to realize when they're wrong.

Nicholas's main attribute is his arrogance that acts as the other side of the confident exterior most often see. Even when he is presented with absolute proof that he's wrong, he'll never admit his faults, because in his head Nicholas thinks he's perfect. In his head, he doesn't see that what he does harms people. He is someone that does what he does when he wants to and makes no apologies for it. It is an attractive trait to some and has earned him many, many times of day, but one has to wonder just how long those hours last until they see the ugly side of Nicholas Grey - the quote-unquote "fuck boy" that is this young man.

Nicholas nor his twin ssiter, Billie Jean, nor his older sister, Fiona, knew what it was like to not have their parents there for them. They didn't know the suffering of wondering when dad would be home or even when the rent of their house would be paid.

Truth is, Kavi Salvador and Ariel Grey weren't neglectful parents nor did they beat on their children, abuse them in any way, or even give them unsafe home.

No, there wasn't anything problematic about the way they raised their two daughters and son.

Indeed, the truth of the Salvador-Grey family is not one of intentional neglect, but rather from the demands that Kavi's job as a Soap Opera actor, which took him away from his children most hours of the day and Ariel's unpredictable schedule as a record producer. Both had very artistic jobs, passions they had no doubt passed along to their three children. But at the same time, the limited availability Kavi and Ariel had meant nannies and a recycling door of chauffeurs and general caretakers. Occasionally, friends of the family and even Kavi's sister, Nickie, would babysit when she was in town.

But it wasn't all bad. Both Nicholas and Billie came to understand that their parents were important people. And throughout everything, Fiona Jade really was the one who raised them. She, more than anyone else, understood that Kavi and Ariel tried their best. Plus, they always made it up to them when it really mattered. Like family night where they'd all do Zumba. It might seem odd to most, but it was something established early on in their lives and it made an impression on Nicholas specifically. Zumba played a small, yet influential, role in what became one of his biggest passions.

Dance.

Throughout his life, Nicholas felt a calling to the art, but dance and acting had become the cornerstone of the more passionate side of his personality. He went through various stages, but Nicholas, more often than not, always fell back on those two. It came as no surprise that soccer was his sport of choice because he was always good with his legs. And it was a sport that his father loved to death. So maybe in a way, Nicholas just felt closer to Kavi by going down the route he did.

And like Kavi was back in his youth, Nicholas indulges in the ...suave charming player Kavi was known for being. It started in junior high when his confidence hit a spike, which also coincided with him making his school's soccer team and being a natural in the debutante world. Girls, boys -- basically everyone started praising him. And it was then he started to embrace that new side of him. And that's what led Nicholas down a path of wooing, dating, and occasionally, sleeping with anyone who gave him the time of day - or in the case of when his ego grew to shocking heights - who Nicholas gave his time of day to.

When Kavi and Ariel recognized it, they acted swiftly. They figured he needed to take a break from familiar surroundings and shipped him off to Marble Heights. Billie came too because she was the only one who could center him. They figured that combo would benefit both twins.

Oh, how mistaken their parents were. They just had no idea just how wrong they were.

Believe it or not, Nicholas does actually feel regret, but he's like a snail: it takes him a long time to get to the point everyone was at weeks ago. Maybe this is because he grew up with so much high praise or the company he surrounded himself with (Leo). He has been easily influenced by certain enablers and this has often led to him believing that acting a certain way is the recipe for success. But Nicholas has had to face hard truths (often forced on him by Billie). He had to come back to planet earth several times (again by Billie).

Honestly, if you want the main reason as to why Nicholas' head isn't so far up his ass, look no further than his North Star, Billie Jean. She has been the one person to ground him more times than he would care to admit and maybe that's why there's a sincere side to him. Maybe it's thanks to her that Nicholas has shown he can be compassionate without expecting much in return (I use much because he can't completely shut off his "I'm doing this because it might benefit me" part of his brain). And it's thanks to his bond with BIllie, as well as Fiona, that Nicholas is loyal to those who prove their worth to him. He doesn't trust easy and maybe that ties into why he sleeps around, but he will go to bat for those very dear to his heart: best friends, Billie, someone who can peel away the devil skin to see his angelic nature.

🎭 Nicholas' love for dance originates from when he was younger in how his parents, older sister Fiona, and his twin, Billie Jean, would all have Family Zumba Night.
🎭 Every summer since he was thirteen, Nicholas has participated in the Debutante Ball. And every summer he and Billie Jean return to New York, he proudly takes part in it. In the debutante world, Nicholas is essentially considered royalty and the ideal partner because of his apt timing and devotion to it.
🎭 Nicholas' main guilty pleasure is watching weekly episodes of Greys Anatomy with Billie. It started when they were young and they just never stopped. It's a bit of a tradition for them and it's one of the few things they have for themselves. It doesn't matter how busy Nicholas is, he drops everything to spend that hour to two hours (depending on if it's a season premiere/finale or not, or if they're behind on a couple of episodes).
🎭 From members of his extended family, as well as his Aunt Nicolette (aka his namesake) has often compared him to his father. Not only in how he acts and dates more than not, but where his interests reside. Kavi Salvador was attracted to dance and acting and so is Nicholas. Those are his greatest passions outside of sex and soccer.

Appearance:

Kaz is described as a somewhat average 16-year-old with neck-length silver hair and electric blue eyes. His skin is fair and no paleness, which may indicate he doesn't spend every hour of his time in his room. He has a skinny-lean figure, which also indicates he physically active in some respect but not to the point where he would be considered for sports teams. At a height of 5'8, one can assume he is fairly average and doesn't experience the troubles that a short boy his age would.

Kaz chooses comfort over style most of the time, so one might find him in oversized hoodies, shirts that might be one or two sizes too big, and some kind of shorts or jeans. He's a fan of sneakers, but specifically Vans or Nike. Yeah, just because he looks average doesn't mean he dresses like it. Top shelf for him, please!

Personality:

Kaz is what you would call something of an adrenaline junkie. This doesn't mean he seeks danger but he doesn't run away from it, either. All his life, Kaz has enjoyed the thrill of taking risks, never knowing if they paid off or not. He likes the feeling deep in the pit of his gut he always seems to get when he's so close to failing or when he does fail, he knows what not to do next. If taunted or dared to do close to anything, he'll never back down no matter how stupid it is, but that doesn't mean Shodo Kazuma himself is stupid or unintelligent, it just means that he, for a short time, he suspends that part of his brain that might tell him what is or isn't wise to do for the sake of his physical well-being.

As a person and how approachable he is, Kaz is somewhere between intimidating and friendly. He can make friends easily cause he seems to have this aura about him that allows for people to feel his warmth, but there have been times where his impulsive behavior and love for danger may have alienated his old friends from him. It bothers him, but he'd never let anyone close to him know that. At the very least, around Kaz, you have a lot of fun.

Backstory:

Shodo Kazuma was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. His parents, for all intents and purposes, were pretty normal and didn't possess any extraordinary traits or jobs. His father is a car salesman while his mother is a nurse. The only exceptional thing that one could say about Kaz's upbringing was how it was mainly him on his own for the majority of his life. His neighbor, who was roughly four years older than him, babysat him for the majority of his late childhood and well into teenhood. By the time she went to college, Kaz was old enough to take care of himself.

And that's exactly what he did, but at some point in his life, he had developed the habit of breaking rules: curphew, the law - basically anything he could do to get that thrill. It wasn't even about the abandonment he faced at the hands of his parents due to their busy jobs (okay maybe a part of it was). He just always enjoyed the thrill, but then about a year ago, he discovered online gaming. His parents weren't too thrilled about it, but they figured better he cause trouble in a fictional world than in the real one, so they let him play his games.

It started out with the usual mmorpgs, but it wasn't until Digimon: Tamer World came out did he find his calling. His parents didn't know about it. Every time he left the house, he always said he was meeting friends, but little did they know, he was out and about. This augmented reality game took him places he didn't think he'd go. First, it was around his neighborhood -going to the park, some back alleyways, but then he went back to old habits. Hearing Kalinda explain what happened was a lot to take in. At face value, she was thinking about Erin. Vivian never did get along with Erin that much. It wasn't because she disliked her or anything of the sort. Erin was intimidating and there was always something about her that made Viv want to steer clear. Perhaps it was because of her personality and how different the two were. Or maybe it was preconceptions because she's Hades' daughter and Vivian was Apollo's. Kaz is described as a somewhat average 16-year-old with neck-length silver hair and electric blue eyes. His skin is fair and no paleness, which may indicate he doesn't spend every hour of his time in his room. He has a skinny-lean figure, which also indicates he physically active in some respect but not to the point where he would be considered for sports teams. At a height of 5'8, one can assume he is fairly average and doesn't experience the troubles that a short boy his age would.

Kaz chooses comfort over style most of the time, so one might find him in oversized hoodies, shirts that might be one or two sizes too big, and some kind of shorts or jeans. He's a fan of sneakers, but specifically Vans or Nike. Yeah, just because he looks average doesn't mean he dresses like it. Top shelf for him, please!

Personality:

Kaz is what you would call something of an adrenaline junkie. This doesn't mean he seeks danger but he doesn't run away from it, either. All his life, Kaz has enjoyed the thrill of taking risks, never knowing if they paid off or not. He likes the feeling deep in the pit of his gut he always seems to get when he's so close to failing or when he does fail, he knows what not to do next. If taunted or dared to do close to anything, he'll never back down no matter how stupid it is, but that doesn't mean Shodo Kazuma himself is stupid or unintelligent, it just means that he, for a short time, he suspends that part of his brain that might tell him what is or isn't wise to do for the sake of his physical well-being.

As a person and how approachable he is, Kaz is somewhere between intimidating and friendly. He can make friends easily cause he seems to have this aura about him that allows for people to feel his warmth, but there have been times where his impulsive behavior and love for danger may have alienated his old friends from him. It bothers him, but he'd never let anyone close to him know that. At the very least, around Kaz, you have a lot of fun.

Backstory:

Shodo Kazuma was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. His parents, for all intents and purposes, were pretty normal and didn't possess any extraordinary traits or jobs. His father is a car salesman while his mother is a nurse. The only exceptional thing that one could say about Kaz's upbringing was how it was mainly him on his own for the majority of his life. His neighbor, who was roughly four years older than him, babysat him for the majority of his late childhood and well into teenhood. By the time she went to college, Kaz was old enough to take care of himself.

And that's exactly what he did, but at some point in his life, he had developed the habit of breaking rules: curphew, the law - basically anything he could do to get that thrill. It wasn't even about the abandonment he faced at the hands of his parents due to their busy jobs (okay maybe a part of it was). He just always enjoyed the thrill, but then about a year ago, he discovered online gaming. His parents weren't too thrilled about it, but they figured better he cause trouble in a fictional world than in the real one, so they let him play his games.

Every time he left the house, he always said he was meeting friends, but little did they know, he was out and about. This augmented reality game took him places he didn't think he'd go.
