@Ammokkx I'm much the same way. Super-Heavy Armor with a weapon that when fully charged breaks small orbital objects. Not fast though.

No, you two don't even compare. Paladin can hardly move. You're pretty mobile. He's also straight up artillery.

EDIT: I should clarify. Yes, you're both heavy hitters and just heavy in general. But what Ribasu does well, Paladin does better. Unfortunately, what Ribasu doesn't do well, Paladin also does worse.

@Jasonhero Have you seen my twin railguns? They power of magnets compels them to die, not to mention a double salvo on whatever so happens to piss off Ariin today. The shield is there so if you've got the time the Paladin can quite literally do this all day.

Paladin's essentially what you would call a 'Tank'. Takes a beating, dishes out a beating, kinda slow and immobile.

So as you all know, I have a story planned out and will play it out over the course of the RP. I also intend to stick to the RP until the very, bitter end.

But what some of you may or may not be aware of, is that I intended for the story to span across only a single year in the Duel Tower and then finish the RP.

Now, after conversing with Charak, he pointed out to me that he'd rather see whatever story I had in mind span over the full study course of the students, three years. This way every character could progress and age.

I wasn't opposed to the idea, but it got me thinking. I can't decide on what to do. I don't want to drag this out longer than it needs to, but this RP is also very dear to me. And as you all know, I value each of your opinions. So, I've made a poll to see what everyone thinks I should do.

I would ask that everyone please vote.

Now, if I do end up spanning it across multiple years, the following will be possible:

-Some students, at the end of a year, could choose to leave the academy for whatever reason they desired. This would complete their character arc, and the story would carry on with the rest of the cast. For example, lets say Shinrei was still here. His realization that Tsukiko wasn't enjoying the tower would come at the end of the year and both of them parted ways from the cast at that point instead of as early as they did. I'd imagine the characters, if handled properly, would've been on somewhat friendly terms with the rest of the cast and even though neither side may admit it, they'd miss the others. So emotional goodbye scenes, basically.

-A focused point where I can just let new applicants flood in without fear. They'd take on the role of a Kenzan sort of deal like in GX, where they're not less important, just younger and newer to the cast. Naturally they'd get their own entrance duels that the cast who remains could watch.

-In case of a full three year cycle, a complete epilogue where everyone who stayed takes one final leave of the academy. Sort of like the graduation party in GX.

Please tell me if you have voted or not, but telling me what you voted on is optional. If you have any feedback or would like to request another option, please tell. I aim to please.

Also, if anyone wishes to leave the RP at some point, the end of a year would be the ideal place. It would complete a character arc and I would not hold it against you to do so. (In fact, I'd recommend it for a select few characters where it makes sense. I'm not telling which, though, since it's up to the player and not me to judge.)
