Current First post after nearly a month of inactivity. Here's hoping I can get back into a good post routine before long.

Managed to burn both my thumbs and index fingers pulling a tray of cookies out of the oven. I trusted you, oven mitts, and you betrayed me.

Thanks to having to move earlier this year, I finally get to experience snow for the first time since my early childhood. It's absolutely wonderful :)

RP’s that amass a good player base and have a good start only to suddenly die are why I have trust issues.

Lanithil Valkas

While the others hid still in the tree line, Lanithil moved swiftly and silently along them. The story told by the field ahead, the death and decay was clear as daylight. The forest, however, usually had a story of it’s own. His allies wouldn’t have to worry about the elf as he dashed from tree to tree. It would take truly the keenest of eyes or even magic to even glimpse the ranger’s movement. Yet despite his skill, Lanithil was surprised to find that there was nothing to be found. Not a twig snapped or a blade of grass bent. Wherever the enemy had come from, they had done so without leaving a trace.

Hearing the whistle of his commander, Ardur, Lanithil dropped his search and emerged out of the woods with his comrades. Once Ardur gave them their orders to wait, Lanithil nodded and gave what little information he had gathered. “I found no tracks in the surrounding area. They either leave no prints or know how to hide them. They also seem to have an understanding of human religion judging from the poor souls up there.” Lanithil pointed to the bodies bound to look like men praying, “Whatever did this is not mindless. In fact I would say they are quite tactical. Any action we take should be done with great caution.”

Once he had given his findings and opinions, the others began asking questions and even tossing some suggestions on how to proceed. One comment from their resident half-elf, Gilead Davidian, sparked a reply from the wood elf. “If you’re worried about your armor giving us away, Gil, you could always go in naked? The sight alone would probably be more terrifying than anything else the Inquisition could throw at them.”

He gave a sly smirk to his ally before turning his gaze upon the towers. Gil did have a point. If anyone was in those towers they would have a clear view of the inquisitors. Keeping his gaze fixed on the towers, Lanithil trusted his trained eyes would catch any movement and hopefully save them from a potential ambush.

Would there be any tracks left by whatever attacked the city either coming or going?
@Cerces22

Idea for Circe. Just get Roland's number and text him. Or use Snapchat so the messages disappear.
Roland Nightbreaker

Unlike the others who simply awoke by their own volition, Roland’s slumber was ended by the alarm he had set on his phone. While few would actually notice the soft *bzzt bzzt* of his phone vibrating on his bed, it was more than enough to get him up. Tossing his covers aside and rubbing his eyes open, Roland debated skipping his morning workout knowing full well who his first class would be taught by. Eventually he opted for a light workout of sit ups and push ups to at least keep him in the habit.

After taking a quick shower and throwing on some clothes, he followed Duncan to the cafeteria for breakfast. There wasn’t much chatting between the two because the second Roland’s nose caught a whiff of the food, his stomach reminded him he had hardly eaten yesterday. Once he had chowed down on what was probably all the bacon and eggs they had, Roland again followed his centaur buddy to their first class.

Upon entering the vampire’s classroom, Roland teased some predictions to his friend. “So what do you think he’s got planned for us? Super hard obstacle course to ‘test our limits’ or is he just gonna beat the crap out of us and go from there?”

I'll try to get to work on a post for ya, but I can't make promises. Today's been pretty busy for me.
@Cerces22

Roland is going to be finding people with bite marks sooner than later isn't he?
@Awesomoman64

she literally has any claws and fangs at her disposal

If Roland ever has to treat someone with bite marks on their dick he's gonna have a lot of questions for Circe. Mainly, "Why was your mouth even near there?"
@Cerces22

Circe needing protection? Hah. I'd more afraid for the boys who try to get close to her. She seems the sort to favor a knife to the genitals, but maybe I'm wrong and she likes an old fashioned kick.

Boy: HELP! CIRCE STABBED ME!

Roland: Don't worry I'm a healer. Where did she get you?

Boy: She stabbed me in the junk.

Roland: ...Okay ground rules. Do not look me in the eyes, and if you make any jokes I will have her stab you again.
