My blade carries with it the harsh frost of the wintry winds. Dancing with the rage of a blizzard, its speed matches the transience of an icy petal.

Welcome traveler. I see you've stumbled upon my profile, nice to meet ya.

About Me
I'm just your average 9-5 schmuck. I do my work, pay my bills, and contribute what I can to society. I also happen to enjoy binge-watching/reading anime, manga/light novels, tv dramas, and pretty much anything that catches my interest. Roleplaying
I originally joined this site several years back, having gotten my feet wet only recently at that point as an RPer. I was recommended this site by a pal of mine (@PaulHaynek) and joined a couple of his RPs. However, due to RL stresses I had to take a break from the world of RPing and took sometime for self-reflection. After a 2 year absence, I'm back in saddle and ready to further stretch my creative muscles. As for what roleplays I like, I enjoy anything action-oriented. I'm fine with any settings for the most part, though I'm more inclined toward the magical and sci-fi. Also, I've gained a sort of preference for RPs that allow users to play as multiple characters, but solo is fine either way. Here's a list to give a better idea of my tastes.

- Fantasy/medieval
- Dystopian
- Steampunk
- Sci-fi
- Apocalypse/Post-Apocalyptic
- Generally anything anime/manga related
- Adventure and Combat oriented
- Romance here and there is fine too

That's all for now, reader. If you decide to post an interest check for an RP idea, you just might find me posting a character profile ready to be reviewed. Don't be afraid to give me a shout if you'd like a Co-DM to bounce ideas off of as well.

Until then.

🔥Vară Riemsianne🔥

@PaulHaynek @Lmpkio

Doing her best to hide the tears that began forming up under her eyes, Vară reluctantly joined her companions on the long track back home. Thankfully, everyone was in agreement of stopping some where to get food. Haley had led them to a tavern at a local town called Ambran. Once there they used some of their payment to enjoy some nice food and drink to recharge after the excursion at Coldstep Pass. Vară barely paid attention to her surroundings while enjoying the dessert items on the menu. While walking through town beforehand, she did notice the odd looks the locals where giving them, she guessed that in this supposedly neutral town they weren't used to seeing mamono here. She didn't let it bother her, though, she was just glad to be back within civilization again.

Aside from the on lookers, even her comrades may give her a strange glance at all of the spices she was putting on her sweets-filled plate. But, at this point she was too busy stuffing her face to care. However, her attention was suddenly piqued by the charming voice of a cloaked figure. She quickly turned to see an estranged man, his face hidden by an obscuring hood, though shrouded in traveling robes she could see the armor the man wore under.

This man had heard of The Guild, Wait, THAT'S what it's called?, she thought to herself. He wanted to chat for a little bit and even offered to pay for their meal. Hearing that someone heard of and was impressed by the actions of her and her guild further lifted her spirits, and leaving her tab to someone else sounded even better. For better or for worse, Vară decided to indulge the traveler.

"Greetings and salutations fair traveler. Brace yourself, for you now stand in the presence of none other than Vară Riemsianne, heir to the esteemed Riemsianne clan of noble fire demons." She said with a boisterous tone. It doesn't surprise me that your ears have caught wind of our doings, any group that I am a part of can only expect greatness to follow!"

"However...", she continued, "I do believe it is proper etiquette to introduce yourself before asking various questions. Tell me sir, what would your name be and what has brought you to these lands?"

❄️Nagare❄️

@13org @Restalaan

Nagare promptly followed her comrades to find Nera. At this point, Nagare could clearly hear the forest's voice, it was leading them to where Nera was last and it bade to save her. What really worried her was the strange, rough feeling magic she was beginning to sense as they went deeper into the seas of trees. It definitely wasn't of this area, it felt like the magic that humans use. At that thought, Nagare began to worry that their worst fears have come to pass. After reaching a clearing, they find Nera trapped in what appeared to be some sort of magical barrier. Nera was surrounded by slain soldiers who Nagare immediately recognized as Varjan soldiers. She also noticed that Nera wasn't quite herself, what with the sigils imbued on her body and her snarling like a rabid dog. "It's true, they really have come. But, how did they find their way into the forest? Nagare grimaced to herself. She analyzed the barrier for a moment.

It was a roughly 20m grayish dome that had surrounded Nera and the corpses. On fives sides on the ends of the barrier, dark crystals engraved with red runes could be seen. Nagare, and Freyr as well, deduced those must be the source of the barriers. However, she began to sense magic forming up from behind them, but before she could warn her friends they themselves were also trapped in a barrier as well. At that point a man who had the look of a mage appeared before them. His demeanor and tone of voice were enough to identify him as a villain, a fact that he confirmed himself when he explained that he and a squadron of soldiers infiltrated the forest. Through his ramblings, it was revealed that he also was the one who did this to Nera and that he was able to find a way to move around the forest undetected. That explains how he was able to come so deep in the forest!

Ditzy pointed at the man saying he had the face of a bad person, and he began finding something to throw at him. "Who are you?! Release us at once and restore Nera to normal!" Demanded the ice dragon. Unsurprisingly it seems that her words fell on deaf ears. The man was pleased with what he had done and had muttered something about using Vieras as weapons and reporting back to his king. He also stated that he wised he could have stayed to see them all get killed by Nera.

Freyr, who unsuccessfully tried to break the crystals, was beaten to a bloody pulp by the feral Nera. She tend turned to Ditzy and Nagare as her next prey. The runes on her body glowed with an eerie light as saliva snarled from her lips. No longer the noble warrior they had met prior, she was nothing more than a savage predator fueled by primal instinct. Ditzy put down his sandbag and taunted Nera into rushing him. "Ditzy, what are you doing? Why would-" Her words were cut short by Nera blinding advance, she was already practically at the hobgoblin's throat.

One thing was clear to Nagare, they needed to find a way out of the barrier. Freyr's brute force couldn't get the job done, but Nagare thought that perhaps her ice magic could. Freyr was still unconscious, much to her dismay. If anyone would be able to calm her down, he had the best chance of doing so. However, right now all she could do was hopefully make a hole in the barrier long enough for either her or Ditzy to get through and destroy the crystals that formed their prison.

"Ditzy, I'm going to see if my ice attacks can make a hole in this barrier. If so, I'll try to destroy the crystals from the outside. Please, be careful!" At those words, Nagare once again entered into her true dragon form. She thought it would be more effective to start off strong, she needed to make this hole as quickly as possible.

With that in mind, she fired a massive blast of frost, hoping that it would disrupt the flow of energy coming from the pillars and create a distortion large enough to jump through.
Yes, I'll be posting soon. Also, wanted to let everyone know I'll be going out of town next week so I may not be able to post until late May or early June if that's ok.

@Rune_Alchemist

Her brother on his way, Lisia promptly made her way into Seleth's infirmary room. There, she also came face to face with Varjan's other friends. Mira was the first to ask what brought the princess here. The princess, with a calm expression on her face, began speaking.

"Greetings Mira, I didn't expect to see you here, or Ecthel and Alicia for that matter. I imagine that Varjan's condition is a bit more serious, which is why you all aren't with him right now. Which brings me to my reason for coming here." She turned to Seleth, her expression now more serious.

"Seleth, what happened in that match?! Varjan was quite literally laying in a pool of his own blood! I don't know what went on between the two of you, but this was a tournament bound by rules and regulations. Mortally wounding him, a fellow student no less, is going too far! Was whatever point you were trying to prove really worth all that?"

--Enishi--/--Hisana--

@PaulHaynek

Having successfully running Keith's face in, Hisana watched as Keith fell to the ground, motionless. She had coughed a bit as she tried to catch her breath, then chuckled a bit at her handy work. "I suppose Anna-dear will be satisfied with this.⭐"

Enishi greeting his teeth as sub zero energy began to overflow from his body. "I had told that fool to leave when he had the chance. Hisana, that's the last life you will take. Death is part of the natural cycle that comes for us all, but not like this. I'll make sure your soul rots in Naraka for eternity."

"As fun as that sounds, there are still a few things I need to tend to."♠️ Replied Hisana.

"There's no one left to help you, by now I'm sure Orlov has been captured and detained by the Zauberheim authorities. The cracked little syndicate you threw yourself in with is in shambles, and your back's against the wall. All that awaits you is an eternal prison of ice!" Enishi threw a large shockwave of ice at Hisana, intended to freeze her over completely.

Hisana, in a split second decision, used her Elastic Love in hopes to throw Keith's body in front of the blast, allowing her to get out of the way. If her plan succeeded, she would then throw a few cards at Enishi pouch to tear apart his talismans. The fewer options he had, the better.

It was early in the morning and the Meifeng sisters were almost done opening shop. Lin's street performance yesterday evening made a decent amount of revenue, and she was able to sell a bundle of good luck charms to weary travelers. Things at the port town have gotten quite busy as of late, what with all the political talks and the beastkin war going on. Fu wanted to try her best to stay out of it though, right now the main thing on her mind was taking care of her sister and the shop. Although, she did like the prospect of getting more customers.

"LinLin, how many charms do we have left over from last night?" Ask the kitsune to her sibling.

Lin clumsy shuffled through the shop's inventory in response to her sister's inquiry. When finishing she popped her head up from the crate she was looking in. "Looks like all we got left are some Laughing Buddha figurines and Dzi beads sis." Lin replied in a playful tone.

"Hmm...I may need to go out to restock this afternoon. I doubt my vendor's going to make it today." Fu has a vendor that visits the shop once a week to provide her with merchandise and useful info. Recently he sent Fu a letter saying that his visits may become less frequent for the time being. Apparently the Ministry of Order has a strong presence in the region where he resides and they've been enforcing trade and travel restrictions due to recent skirmishes with beastkin warriors. All Fu could do was sigh at everything, hopefully they could at least get by for now. "I'm gonna change the sign now, be a lamb make sure everything's organized would you?" Fu began making her way to the entrance while waving gently at Lin.

"Aye aye, sis!" Lin responded with a silly salute.

After heading outside to switch the sign to open, Fu heard an old man yell out something, she recognized him as one of the elder merchants in the area. She then noticed what seemed to be a group of three men bullying a little girl in the street. Nodding her head in disapproval, she had planned on calling the authorities to settle the matter, but upon closer inspection she saw the young girl was actually Echo. Echo was well known throughout the port, being a frequent at many shops, including Fu's. Aside from an obvious moral standpoint of stopping grown men from hurting a little girl, Fu was already not in the best of moods and needed to vent. Walking up to the men, Fu hastily made her presence known.

"You three must have been cursed with defects in the lower extremities if you think bullying that girl makes you look tough. Leave her alone and give back her trinket...or else." She said ominously. She shot a small fireball at the man who threw Echo to the ground, hoping to hit him right in the posterior.

Finally got the 2nd character done, let me know if it needs tweaking.
--Raven--

Not contrary to his first guess, the girl stated that they were forbidden from fighting with guests. They then stated that a person known as the Witch of the Great Blue Sea, a talented musician apparently.

"Heh, very well, I suppose I'll make my way over then. A shame, but perhaps the three of us will have the chance to spar another time."

Based on where everyone was gathering and other prompts, Raven could guess where the performance was being held. He wouldn't mind if the two greeters escorted him to the location, though.

--Nadia--

Nadia never understood why Lili continues to call her Lady, it's not like she was of noble birth or someone of high standing. Though she didn't really mind the title either.

While making their way to the performance, Nadia noticed a man walking along the same path a little ways ahead. He had dark silvery hair and wore clothes that immediately denoted him to be an outsider. Curiously, she could sense a windy energy coming from him. Ultimately, Nadia chose not to dwell on it for the time being. She instead turned to Lili.

"So, Lili, how much do you know about this Witch? I mean, besides the fact that she's a great musician, how strong are her magical abilities?"

Made my post, sorry for the wait.

Her brother's following words threw Lisia for a loop; her family would forgo her right to the throne simply because she lost to one student at the tournament? Certainly the tournament was quite an important part of the festival and a spectacle, and the crown princess losing to someone to much less renowned could cause the uproar. But even so, the fact that just the mere thought had crossed their minds was enough to make Lisia stop in her tracks.

"D-Did mother and father really say that...?" Was all the princess could muster, still shaken. However, soon hers and her brother's attention would be diverted by what had transpired in the arena. The two witnessed the grisly site of Varjan laying defeated on the ground, impaled by a spear of darkness, one Lisia was all too familiar with. The Seleth stood over him, seeming to be the victor of the bout.

Lisia knew that Seleth was strong, having bested her in battle, but to think she would be able to defeat the strongest prodigy in the school... But, moreover, why would she use such brutal force in this battle? Was she trying to prove something? She was rather antagonistic in their battle.

That settled it, if time would permit, she would go meet with Seleth post haste and get some answers. She would have to put her family matters aside for the time being.

--Enishi--/--Hisana--

"What?!" A surprised Enishi has his stab block by a cane Hisana still had the strength to snatch. However, Keith had decided to enter the action, beginning to choke Hisana. While Enishi had come here with the intention to subdue the Mad Dame, with lethal force if necessary, having a criminal kill another criminal would go against his code of ethics.

"Keith, that's enough! You've already helped out in the investigation, leave now! If you go too far you'll forfeit the agreement made with the Zauberheim authorities!" Enishi then prepared to freeze the both of them in place if his words fell on death ears.

Unbeknownst to the both of them, Hisana still wasn't done yet. Despite being strangled, Hisana still seemed to be having fun. She had planned to quickly retrieve a card from her pouch and stab Keith in the eye with it, then bind him with Elastic Love. She'd have to be careful, though, as the effects of Enishi's spell still haven't worn off yet.
🔥Vară Riemsianne🔥

Forde soon emerged from the tent, cheerfully laughing to himself. He though a small pouch to Haley, the clinging sounds identified the pouch as the party's payment. Finally, she thought, the whole trek through the wilderness wasn't for nothing. After leaving to find his map, Haley asked if the group should head back or follow Vară's suggestion to get some food.

"After all the walking, I really could use the recharge. Um...I imagine you wouldn't mind having a bite either, Titanica?" She said, still a little nervous that Titanica didn't revert back to her human form.

Ahem, at any rate, what I'm not looking forward to is the long walk back home. Haley, I don't suppose you saw any quicker, less...rough pathways while flying to us?"

❄️Nagare❄️

It seemed that Jote would not be convinced of the danger of Varjo without prove. Freyr began to speak as though he was losing hope, much to the dismay of the ice dragon. However, before she could speak, Ditzy made an outburst saying that they would go as far as to bring a Varjan soldier to the forest with them.

"Ditzy..." She felt that his words may have been out of place, but deep down she felt the same way. Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a strange wind. The magic Nagare felt from the swaying trees sounded almost like a message. This was later confirmed by Jote, who hastily made her way back in the room, a dreadful expression on her face. To everyone's fear, Nera was captured.

"What? No, we have...we have to help her!" Nagare turned to Freyr with a critical look in her eye. Not only did she want to save Freyr's childhood friend as quickly as possible, but she also wanted to know who else beside themselves could have gotten this far in the forest. It didn't make sense...right now.
