Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

@Balthazar007 Ah.. Apologies I didn't want this to affect the power level per say just to emphasize her envy and how she improves her self in small ways; unlike the eventuality when she captures a truly large NPC to conduct this process on.

**Addendum**
Also I'm not certain how often I may post at a time? I do not want to step on toes or just squeeze every second out of every day/night.

So, I've decided to keep everything the same. You must defeat NPCs to increase your power level officially. What has changed is the core idea behind Power Levels in general.

I would like everyone to think of Power Levels not as a character's maximum power, but rather as a character's maximum confirmed power. In other words, Nil probably did increase her total potential by absorbing spider powers, but until those powers are used in battle and confirmed, they cannot be added to her Power Level.

Does that make sense?

Oh, and as long as you don't double post, you're fine. Just wait for me or someone else to post before you post, then you may post again.

Okay, I rolled to see who would win in a battle between Margo and the thief. The thief won the roll.

Here's a link to the roll: https://www.roleplayerguild.com/rolls/13265

So, in your next post, you should summarize the battle and come to the conclusion of Margo's loss. The full line up of the Pokemon the thief used were: Sandshrew, Meowth, & Octillery

Also, you are allowed to raise all your Pokemon's levels by one.
@prettydrops

Nice IC post. I just read it. You can obviously up all your Pokemon levels by 1.
@Balthazar007

FYI: Yes she caught a spider. I didn't want the faster reflexes or precognition. I wasn't sure about the webbing or where it would generate from. So I didn't add it. Poison was paralytic only. Since she had tentacles I didn't add any additional arms. Any of this illigal or unacceptable please let me know ^^

That's all fine. I'll allow it, but for now, this will have no effect on their power level. In fact, this makes me reconsider the way I was going to handle power levels entirely.

But I'm at work right now. I'll have to sleep on this and make a decision tomorrow morning.
@Balthazar007

Hmmmm... I don't know, I think I'll just go for the dice roll. Even with numbers on my side I just don't think I'll be able to beat them lmao. I'm good with doing a dice roll and no re-rolls, and whatever the outcome is, it is what it is. :) Thank you for allowing this instead of showdown!

Not a problem, I'll roll tomorrow morning. At work right now and on my phone.
So indigo won the third battle. Turns out i did not quite understand about ivs and evs and using them in showdown lmao

I will post later tonight or tomorrow! Thanks for being patient!

On that note, just to be sure everyone knows about this...

When you're on Pokemon showdown, and you select your Pokemon's move set, you can then click on their stats and go to the IVs page. There, you should click on the Suggested Spread button to distribute your stats most effectively. Anytime you change a Pokemon's move set, you should also click that Suggested Spread button. It takes into account your Pokemon's base stats as well as what moves you've assigned to them.
It worked, and Indigo soon found himself outside. Out of the frying pan, but into the fire, readying himself for a sure battle with the criminals.

"Damn it!" Shouted the leader of the trio, who had held the door for the two others. "They made it out!"

"Don't worry, I got this!" Shouted back one of the other criminals. "You ready Mr. Mime!?" Mr. Mime turned around to face the oncoming teenagers and raised a thumbs up signal.

"You idiot! I didn't mean we should battle them!" The leader barked back.

But it was too late, the rambunctious thief laid his bag of loot down beside him and threw a Pokeball out of his pocket. "Go, Zubat!"

Dan was wobbly getting up and his laboured breathing seemed like it was burning a hole in his lungs, but he refused to let it stop him from finding the theives

Maybe it was that blast from that Mr.Mime... he thought

"Let's...*huff*...go."

"I got the tired one!" Shouted the third thief, who had been relatively quiet up till that point. He dropped his bag beside him as well and threw a Pokeball. "Go Raticate!"

The trainer was ready however, one of her hands reaching to her belt to pull off another one of her teammates to back their group up, biting the skin of her lip nervously as she exchanged a look with her squirtle.

The leader of the trio was becoming frustrated. He couldn't just leave behind his two partners to fight on their own, not with a third trainer that could possibly cause trouble, more importantly, not with two bags of loot on the ground.

He set his attention to the third teenager (Margo), "Hey, you! So what's it going to be!? How about we just let these knuckle heads battle it out. No need for us to get involved, right!?" Of course, this is what he wanted. Could he escape without a battle? The longer they stayed here, the more likely the police would show up.
@Balthazar007

Whoops I forgot to mention in my last OOC post but I don't think I'll waste the time on a showdown battle lol...
I just don't think that Margo's pokemon will be strong enough to put a dent in the thief's pokemon if they're going to be three level 20's.

Is there a way we could do like a dice roll or something in place of a showdown battle? If not, that's fine, we'll just have to coordinate a showdown battle, I suppose.

Let me know! :)

If that's what you want to do, we can work something out, but having 5 Pokemon vs the opponent's 3 might have gotten you the victory.

If you're electing for a dice roll, I'll calculate each character's chances based off the average level of their Pokemon's level's plus the total of their levels divided by ten.

Margo's odds would be at 23. For the thief, that would put his odds at 26. So I can use this site's dice mechanic to roll a d23 minus d26. If the result is positive or zero, Margo wins. If the result is negative, the thief wins. No re-rolls.

Given that knowledge, what would you like to do?
I did a second rematch but i lost that too so oops oh well!

I'll allow one more rematch. Tomorrow at 7pm then?
Welp, indigo lost. I guess that's that!

I'll allow a rematch if you like. If not, then that thief gets away (which is more like real life).
