@metanoia So with magic that uses a medium like a sword, all the spells would actually be considered techniques instead. Caelum's classification would also have to change to Might. Those are the things that need fixing.
@Chezka @Relin Loving both, and I see no stand-out issues, so both are accepted~
Alright, I think the second idea is more thematic anyway. I'll see what I can produce tomorrow.

Am I correct in assuming that our characters aren't permitted to take an attache of servants with them? Might take some adjustment from my character.

Also, are there exceptions allowed for "transfer students" to join the class at an age past 15?

No, no servants. But I like to believe they're there anyway, hiding in the bushes.

Students can join past 15, it's no issue.
Is this still open perchance? I'm interested.

It is indeed still open.

@Dead Cruiser Mental magic is tricky. By "dominate person" you mean mind control correct? As long as the drawbacks are appropriate and it doesn't work 100% on everyone then it should be fine. The second idea seems easier to implement. You can go either route as long as it's balanced.

Is this underdog class secretly the protagonist class all along.

Is this a spoiler?
Cool. I'll probably state this now, that this is Kress's first semester at Avalice, going into the IC.

That's why he's so happy. His spirit hasn't been broken by the soul-crushing curse of Class-C. We'll fix that
Gotcha. But the point I'm making here is that then it's unlikely that everyone spent the same amount of time in the Academy, due to the difference in age.

Do not question the almighty!

Oh, then I may have misspoke! The new students won't know anyone, but I wanted to make the point that returning students should already know each other somewhat.
Your age range goes from 15 to 17 though. In that case, isn't it more likely that you'll have some people in Class C who are completely new, and some people in Class C who have already been here for two years?

The age range for the CS was just a matter of wanting students to be in that range. I felt 14 was too young, and I wanted the characters to age so I didn't go for higher.
@Dezuel Excellent! Everything seems good so accepted~
Also, how exactly does the assessment thing work in terms of placing students into certain classes? Is Class C the dumping ground for underperforming students? What about the other 24 classes?

While I'm at it, are we all expected to have been at Avalice for the same amount of years, or what?

So each semester, a student takes the assessment and the results are shared among the teaching staff and they decide who to take. A student can refuse an assignment if they have multiple offers or just hope someone else takes them. Class-C over the years has become the dumping ground for those who haven't performed well, and the whole "curse" rumor just blew up from there.

In most cases, all students are accepted at around 14-15 years of age so yes everyone would've spent the same amount of time at the academy. In fact, returning students of class-c should already know each other, at least in a classmate-sense.

EDIT: Ooh, I'll take a look then @Dezuel
@ERode I'm thinking the weekend maybe. Saturday or Sunday.

Hi! Just wanted to saw that I’m also working on a character. :D
Got a support type in the works.

Sounds good, can't wait to see what you mean!

This is looking to be the most popular class in the school.
