I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
@BrokenPromise Just asking for clarification, but are the items our current motive? Because to me, they seem more like long term motives rather than ones to be acted upon immediately; such as the secrets from DR1, and the arcade cabinet from DR2.
TMonokuma will be very clear when he's giving you a motive.
Motives are going to be a timing gimick to let everyone know that I've completed talking with the killer and victim and their case is going to come forward. While Monokuma will bring everyone to the theater, he will tell you what he's doing.
Am in similar situation. And with a question too!
@BrokenPromise Does the e-handbook have the Student Card function of the games with a list of participants and their basic info?
If it makes things easier for you it can. why mess with what works, amirightoramiright?
Now, I'm not gonna be THAT person that wants the RP to hold off on progress before they post..
BUT I work this whole weekend so I probably won't be able to get a post up until Sunday night, Monday at the latest. Hope that is ok
We've got plenty of activity. I don't want anyone to feel rushed.
Well, Dr rules always have loopholes simply for the sake of exploitation, which is the point Cyrus tried to make. I wasn't making a stab at you in any way, I hope you realise that. ^^
I was just mentioning that particular one because it no longer existed at the time of your posting. the rule now reads specifically that the nurses AND monokuma can't enter the rooms. I was just informing you that you might want to edit that part a little because it no longer reflects what is currently in the RP.
Davis was a wreck, mostly ignoring what was going on around him. He wasn't hungry, and how pretty he was compared to Mason didn't matter anymore. Nothing mattered. So long as-
“I was hoping you could take a guess as to who could be the lucky person to receive this sword from me.” It was that stupid kid, Felix. Who waves around a blade in what's suppose to be a killing game? Moreover, how was Davis suppose to know who it belonged to? But none of that mattered, because Davis DID know who the sword belonged to. Anyone who looked inside his room would have seen the collection of golden war treasures he had. No one had, he assumed. Well, none of the patients anyway. But that didn't matter now. Davis stood upright, still holding onto the beads in one hand. Perfection was trembling like he was on a drug high. He reached out with his free hand while shambling towards the free runner. Befriend or betray, Felix's intentions didn't matter.
“That sword, it belongs to a conqueror.” Davis was finally close enough where he could touch it. “M-may I have it? Please?” He didn't wait for a response, and started to reach for it. “Thank you Fe-”
But then a voice interjected. Or at least Rika's tape did. Medeviel knights." She stopped it instantly without continuing it, then played."Knights."
“What did you say?” Davis just stared at the mummy, face twisted in anger. Her cassette continued to play noises, but none of them mattered. She had already gone too far. “Are you denying, ME, acquisition of this glorious golden blade?!” Davis was not a man of large stature, but he delivered his words like an angry dragon. “YOU CUNT!” Perfection was a bit more aggressive in reaching for the sword this time, successfully taking it out of Felix's hands. “LookatthisMrs.smartypants!” Perfection swung the sword at Rika, stopping the blade so that the tip was pointing at the bridge of her nose. “Do you see a hand guard on that? This blade is designed to end battles in a swift motion. With a single thrust, victory is assured. This is the symbol of the greatest nation that ever existed, and was held by only the finest heroes.” Davis started to swing the blade around himself. His tie fell off while he was flailing his body about. “T-this can't possibly be for Shona! Knights are too guarded! They take the long road of chivalry and fairness and get walked on like a common rug!” Perfection held the blade up so that he could admire his reflection in its surface. “This blade...” He chuckled. “This blade is for a strong individual. One who is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve victory. Someone who makes a point to go beyond their station in life. And I know this sword was meant for me because...” With a sigh, his smile left. Perfection just stared at the blade with a quivering lower lip. “Because it's fake.” Davis looked at Rika out of the corner of his eye. “Shona has no use for a sword like this. It's balanced horribly, The blade isn't sharp, and because it's made out of gold it won't keep its edge.” Perfection walked back towards his room, scuffing his feet as he did so. “I-im not hungry. I'll meet up with everyone later.” With the beads still in his hand, he took his E-handbook and slid it though the card reader. The door started to open. “AND YOU!” Perfection pointed at Ice with his newly-acquired golden sword. “If you're going to walk between two people while they're having a discussion, you can at least say EXCUSE ME!” And with that, the door shut behind him. A few seconds later, the door opened up again. Davis reached towards the floor and picked up his tie. “See you later Felix. good talk!” with a wave, the door slid shut.
OMG sorry... I thought the stuff with Nariko and Aleecia was kinda... SUPER ADORBS! I'm a huge fan for the gay and this totally isn't something that can happen but... >///<
Legit I'm guessing the braile othello board is for Aleecia. But I don't know anything about Othello, and I couldn't decide it was the picture book with the fur or the braille until I realized the picture book might be for Curry/Cookie Caora.
The candies for Ice was a really nice touch! I hope they have iron in them! That's what we might need on later floors, a way to drain blood/IV stand and a set of iron tablets.
I think it's hilarious that Calvin got them!!!
I'm totally going to reboot this RP some day as "Tower of Carnage: Tower Mode!" Which is the exact same premise, except instead of being a horror-mystery, it's a romance about a bunch of infinites getting captured and being forced to make carnage sisters over the course of 50 days.
Othello is a pretty cool game. and I can't believe I spelled braille wrong. I guess that's what happens when you try to get that post out by your deadline. Anyway, do some research, it's a pretty cool game. I use to play it all the time.
And so...it begins!
Question. The rooms are tailored to each specific infinite, are we free to say what that would be, within the limits though, or do you have a specific idea for each one?
You are free to say what that would be, so long as it's not anything "too" useful. Shawn is not going to get internet access just because he's a web designer.
Alright, so I am done looking at that post, and i'm pretty close to my deadline. I know there are errors, and if you'd like you can point them out to me and i'll fix them
If you haven't read the post yet, don't look inside the hider until you do. There are some spoilers!
Below is a list of gifts Monokuma had planted in everyone's room. It was totally random via number generator, but i think there are some interesting matches in here. It's not important that all the gifts get handed out to the right person, but I did have a particular character in mind when crafting all the gifts. It will be interesting to see how many of them make their way to their rightful owners. Haha!
