In the Central Plaza

A loud rumbling came from the central guildhall. Most people had already left to see the front gate. Without any warning, the doors of the guildhall flew out of their hinges and across the plaza. A tall and imposing woman stood where the doors used to be. She was significantly taller than most people. Besides that, she wore an extremely heavy set of armour that was just as imposing as she was. Despite her imposing silhouette, it appeared that she was trustworthy.

Kingsly and Charlotte ran back to the plaza. "Renee!" Charlotte yelled. Renee, the large figure, turned towards Charlotte. "This is bad. They're..." Charlotte stopped to take multiple deep breaths. "They're... The scouts say that they've surrounded the city..." She said, panting as she leaned over. Renee grinned to herself. "Well. Let's do this. Kingsly, plan?" Kingsly gave himself a few solemn seconds before speaking. "Scouts hath said the n'rth, east and south hast an amount of ghouls that is ere to come. The west is less maddening. We shalt defend the three and let one be." "Modern English, you sow's son." "...Lots north, east, and south. Less west. We'll protect the north, east and south with the help of the other combat guilds. The loose people can defend the west."

Renee nodded. "I'll take the north. Kingsly, you take the east. We'll get the bigger loose combat guilds to take the south. Charlotte, you help with the west." She said, placing her finger against her forehead as she contacted all of the guildmembers. "...Alright." "Aye." Renee then walked off towards the north end of the city to defend while Kingsly went east. Charlotte begrudgingly went west.

At the entrance...

Upon reaching the west gate, Charlotte noticed the large rabble of people. "What are you guys doing? Make a party with some other nerds and go already!" She said. What she said was not unwarranted. With each passing second, the ghouls and vampires got closer, and as a result, dug in deeper. They solidified their defences with the broken and rotting trees. The ground of these trees were absurdly soft. It would be difficult to fight in each passing minute. Though, Charlotte didn't actually know this. She didn't want to wait.

since it's open would it be ok for me to create a char sheet? and is there anything I should know about?

Not much you need to know about. To elaborate on what Jangel said, a bunch of vampire/ghouls surrounded the city and everyone is going to try to repel them.
is this still open? if so can I join?

Aye. It is.

Are these vampires NPCs (gaming term) or actual players? As in, would they be open to negotiation? :3

NPCs. They're mindless. Usually.
The next GM post advancing the plot will be some time tomorrow (most likely midday PST), so if you haven't posted and don't want to play the catch up game, you should post now.
Test it in combat. 50/50 chance whether it heals or damages. Be sure to heal the biggest baddest thing you can find.
That being said, why is Silver heading out? Or is he no longer level 20ish?

He is.

Granted it's not going to go well for him, but if he does manage to survive and steal some kills, that's a whole load of power leveling.
@SilverDawn I'm curious, are you even interested in GMing this? Because I don't really feel like you are.

Not particularly.

At first, it was fine and dandy, but salvaging a bunch of missing information turned out to be much more time consuming than I thought. Not to mention, I'm not as up-with-it on the Yugioh knowledge, either. It's just been feeling more and more like a job and I haven't been having any fun with figuring all of this out. I ended up taking a few days on a break, then a few more, then a few more, and then everyone was posted for people to post, and I felt really guilty so I didn't post; it was just a vicious cycle. Not to mention that it was way too "I'll think of it when we get there" instead of having an overarching plot. Don't make that mistake that I did.

I would recommend in rebooting this RP if you guys still want to write on it. I won't GM and I might not even rejoin.
@Amaterasu Eclair is accepted, feel free to post them in the character tab whenever.
Soonue - Ari

Ari and Soonue had been sitting next to each other while they both waited for their teacher to come into the room. Soonue had been her usual self while waiting. Patient, silent, not making a single movement. Ari had also been her usual self. Absurdly bored. She rapidly swung her legs while she waited for the dead man to teach his metaphorically-dead class. "Soooooonueeeee~" Ari said in a sweet tone. "...?" Soonue silently directed towards Ari. Soonue slowly turned towards Ari. "I'm booorrreeeed~" Ari continued to speak. "Even the snail can ascend a mountain." Ari said in her usual mellow and slow way of speaking. "What does that even mean?"

The two's short conversation was cut off when Sid entered. Soonue waited patiently as he spoke. Ari continued to swing her short legs while she puffed out her cheeks. Neither one was really listening to what he had to say. However, when Sid mentioned about reporting to Lord Death, both of them were interested in what he had to say. When their names were called to go to Lord Death's offices, they were intrigued. When Ari heard her name called, she instantly stood up. It was a good cure to her boredom. Soonue stood after she heard many other people moving. Soonue walked down one of the nearest aisles with Ari behind her.

"Think we're in trouble~?" Ari said jokingly. "You might be." Soonue quipped back. Ari puffed out her cheeks as they walked along the hallways to get to Death's office. The next brief period of the two was quiet. Neither of them spoke. They were both quite nervous at what was going on. Even so, they were also mildly excited. This silence was quickly cut short by Soonue. In her leading Ari, she had failed to even suspect that someone would put a sight on the wall incorrectly. Instead of it being against the wall, it was suspended by a rod that pointed out of the wall. The sign read "Beware of protruding rod". An ironic fate for Soonue.

A thud resounded throughout the hallway. Soonue stood still, her neck half-bent as the sign rested upon her face. Ari tried her hardest not to laugh, but even after the 87th time, it was still funny. Soonue walked back, took a few steps to the right, and walked forwards again without so much as a word. Ari ran up to her and held on to Soonue's hand as the two walked forward.

When they reached the office, Ari waited to be the last few in. She then waited for a bit, then ran through the guillotine corridors. Soonue was confused why Ari was doing this. She wasn't able to shake off Ari's grip, so she just went with the flow. Upon reaching there, they waited and listened to what Lord Death had to said.

A special mission with a cult? Ari didn't quite like this. Throughout their previous activities and everything, they usually only ended up as supports for other people. Knowing that she was considered to have a high potential left a bad taste in Ari's mouth. Soonue didn't care. In any case the two of them silently waited while the others spoke amongst themselves.
Reviewed everything that went on in the last bit.

So, I'll PM anyone who hasn't posted to try to kick this up again tomorrow
