Arden Thorn

Race: Tiefling
DOB: January 21, 1998.
Zodiac: Aquarius.
Occupation: Student.

Background
It's not to say Arden's father was a bad man, just really bad at making the right choices. He was weak of will and fell to many many vices, easy prey for Arden's half demonic mother. It was after all in her nature and her blood to feed off of others suffering. With his last bit of sense Arden's father took baby Arden short after his birth and fled.

So Arden grew up with his father until his fathers lifestyle of drinking, smoking, drugs and gambling caught up with him.

The two lived together out in the countryside in a state of squalor until Arden was old enough to start fending for himself and contributing. He fastly became independent and soon supported his father who equally as fast became crippled by illness and grew worse and worse day by day.

After his fathers passing young Arden made his way to the nearest town where he lived on the streets until he found a mysterious letter that would change his life forever.

Magic
Arden's Magic is rare and risky to wield. He can reach beneath the fabric of existence to a pure raw and wild chaotic force. To some it is known as creation energy, others chaos magic. Mishandling it can result with some unfathomable, unpredictable harsh consequences. Not only does the mind need to be sharp to direct such a raw untameable force, but the body must be strong too. Acting as a conduit for this wild magic takes a physical toll, always.

Magical Equipment
Arden who has grown up in poverty has managed to get this far with very little and will continue to do so.

_{Unexpected entrances.}

Arden's feet pounded heavily on the hard wet cold stone pavement, protected only by a thin layer of worn tattered leather soles. The merciless icy winds rushing over his bare numb skin and roaring in his pointy ears as he frantically tore through the stormy dark streets with a desperate urgency. Yet still, despite his nimble agility and best efforts he couldn't seem to escape the angry droning echo of hostile shouts as they continued to chase him.

A sudden flash of light was followed by a surprising warmth that danced dangerously close to Arden's shoulder as an unexpected fireball narrowly missed him. It continued to travel further down the alleyway only to explode into a brilliant and blazing wall of fire blocking the path ahead of him.

Although still some distance away Arden could feel the heat radiating from the magical flames. This was the cost of his gamble. Sure the reward would be better but the stakes were defiantly higher and the odds not in his favour. This is why no one robbed the magic store.

Hurling the bag of stolen goods over his shoulder Arden quickly decided on a new path and took to the wall at his side. Scaling it with ease he was soon on the roof tops as his pursuers reached the ground beneath him. Another flash lit the sky, this time Arden didn't stick around to see what happened. With the next rooftop in site he took a mighty run up and lept.

'CRASH!' Arden was shocked as the second roof gave way beneath him and he came crashing down hard in an explosion of wood, tiles and debris. It took a moment to regain his senses, another to realise he rolled his ankle, a third to notice his stolen belongings were now scattered around or buried in the rubble.

Those chasing him would now be close, but he couldn't run. He frantically tried to gather his things but all that was in reach was a dusty letter. It caught his eye only because it had his name upon it. His real name. His full infernal Tiefling name.

As heads popped up around the opening in the roof, dark ominous shadows silhouetted against an eerie nights sky, ready to descend upon their helpless deserving prey. A new flash of light filled the room beneath them and the thief was gone!

An injured, dizzy and confused Arden suddenly found himself beneath a beautiful blue sky. Sitting on the soft luscious grass of a pleasant green field. Flower garden's aside and a tall old building ahead. There were a couple of people near him and two a bit further away. They seemed to be waiting expectantly.
Arden stuttered as he tried to find words for the situation and then quickly decided on remaining silent, for a moment at least.
"Where am I?" he finally asks.

-picks up cup, drinks the drink quickly, *thoughts on taste* barely breathes, confident, happy, peeks at clay, feels bit dizzy, slams down cup feeling proud.-

Clay didn't do any cleaning and is holding a bucket and a wide expectant grin of victory practically screaming "I told you so" and that's when she realises she has been tricked!!!

Arex groaned as he rubbed his head and replied. "I don't even want to be in my own head right now let alone have someone else in there too." He pauses to grit his teeth in pain. "But my earlier offer still stands." He quickly adds with a taunting smirk. Brash humour aside he hoped to detour any further questions on the topic.

His visit to the med bay didn't last too much longer. He avoided any further conversation and left feeling worse off than when he had arrived. The rest of the repairs on his severed arm he could sort out in his own time. Arex got what he needed from Maxi without killing him and now had other matters to attend. Where he not in such bad shape or a rush he might have caused more trouble before leaving. There would always be future opportunities.

A short moment later Arex found himself leaning heavily against the doorway to Amy's room for support as he banged against it calling for her attention.
