This caused like ten things in my mind and I know how to explain none of them.
Seriously, the swearing in RWBY S3 is really getting to me. I've never had it bother me except in this instance, because it feels like they're disgracing Monty Oum's memory and creation.
This is more respectful, actually. It's like how you don't like people taking over others' characters. They're trying to make it their own, instead of trying to replicate the previous writer's style. It would be disrespectful to try to copy someone's style after their death, moreso than taking things in a slightly different direction, especially if it's only dialogue choice.
Saying this having not seen RWBY for seething hatred moral the producers suck personal reasons.
