Seems good to me, assuming Gowi already knows about how he fits into Grant City.

Also, for everyone who is wanting to apply for a new character for Season 2, note that a Southern California city called Pacific Point will also be an available base of operations for your characters. One of my characters will be located there in Season 2 (I will hint at why (s)he is there before Season 2 is over) and there will be a group of NPC characters called the Immortals that I will be previewing during Pax Metahumana. And Kalistar's Radiance might be there, too (key word, might).

And a post by @Byrd man. Let's see what he has come up with now!

As have I (and... there may possibly be future GM developments down the line from that sphere...).

Hey! Don't give away our secrets! hehe
That's a lot of heroes, may apply as a villain :]
Thinking of applying as ya boy Kingpin

Okay, just saw your edit. Kingpin.

So far, the only lore that has been developed is that Kingpin's wife, Vanessa, became sick several months ago in the IC, which caused the Kingpin to direct his attention towards curing his wife, which has given other crime families/organizations the opportunity to grab some of his turf (however, the Kingpin still controls a portion of the New York underworld still). However, this is still an opportunity for the Kingpin to run as his beginning arc, so you wouldn't be restricted by this previous lore that much (just need to acknowledge it).

Also, @Gowi was planning on applying for a Black Cat that is tied with the Kingpin, so you might want to talk with him, if Gowi is still interested in Felecia Hardy.
Thanks @Hound55!

@Dedonus I would like to know about the military technologies available to S.T.R.I.K.E and if it would be feasible for them make something like that

While @nitemare shape would be able to shead more light on the inner workings of S.T.R.I.K.E. (which is comparable to S.H.I.E.L.D. in Marvel comics and whatever is the equivalent is in DC comics), we have a character (played by me) who has a power-suit that is technologically similar to what Iron Man has in the Marvel Universe. So they could have the technology for "bio-augmented super-solider". Nothing at the level of the 41st century, but still could be advanced in comparison to modern day technology.

NMS told me once that "S.T.R.I.K.E. is so large that you really can't screw it up". So there is still some leeway available here.
That's a lot of heroes, may apply as a villain :]

Since the game is already a year and some change old and there is an abundance of heroes, I'm willing to accept villain applications (I technically already did it with Doom).

Who do you have in mind?
@Dedonus What I mean is like a bio-augmented super-solider who wears heavy power armor and serves some sort of military force.

I will say tentatively yes, although I would want to wait until I see the final character sheet to pass judgement.

This roleplay is set in the "present day", just FYI. ;)
Question: Can I be like a space marine from Warhammer 40k?

What do you mean by "like a space marine from Warhammer 40k"?

In that case I might put my chars up here, assuming it's cool to refrain from posting until Season 2 arrives. Either way, I'm definitely applying -- so you guys don't have to worry about losing a potential player, lol.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it because of a few reasons:

1. You can get your PC all worked out and approved for S2 while you're waiting.
2. You can see the others and what they have, where they are located, and possibly come up with connections before the official start.
3. It gives the GMs a place to see who's the latest additions without having to find them in the OOC mountain of information.

However, that final decision is up to the GMs really. I'm just stating the reasons that I think it would be a positive thing. XD

I don't see anything wrong with it.

Give me a little while to make my character. Also, how long do my posts need to be? About a paragraph long or such?

The ideal answer to this question would be however long or short it needs to be to get the information across. What good are a bunch of paragraphs if they are just fluff? So there isn't really a limit, but with that said, I think it would be difficult to tell these stories with only a single paragraph.
<Snipped quote by Dedonus>

I intended it as "noted", but I believe it more accurately translates to "observed"... if I'm not arse-backwards.

There you go. Greek filtered through the eyes of a coarse Australian.

Watch. Observe. They're practically synonyms (which comes from Greek, too).

Interesting. I might consider joining assuming the game is in a good position for a newcomer.

We would love to have you. :)
Merely Browsing, but now my interest has been piqued. Mind telling me about this RP?

Basically it is a sandbox (i.e. free form) game where we create our own superheroes (or supervillains if that is your fancy). So the Marvel, DC, or any other comic company's superheroes don't exist as real people, but we create our own to make a world just a vibrant as Marvel or DC. The application and a semi-brief summary of past important events are in the OP.

παρατηρούμενη

I assume that is the Present Middle/Passive Particlpe, Feminine Nominative Singular of παρατηρέω, "to watch".
