The Brave Saints - A DxD Roleplay set in an alternate history.

So, I'm gonna pull back from this roleplay. There are a couple reasons.
1) I don't really think I'm gonna make Cynthia into an Angel, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her. In truth I might use her on my side of the DxD rp, but I'm not overall sure.
2) I'm already running mine and while the world is linked, I'm not 100% sure how it'll work out. I'm not gonna be a dick and say like "yeah they have nothing to do with each other" because we share a bunch of players and that'd be stupid.
3) I keep saying I'm gonna read the IC... But honestly... Every time I go to I just push it off, and I'm not gonna try and force a post without knowing what's happening or giving the IC the proper attention and respect it deserves.

Overall, I'll probably linger around and my character does exist. I just couldn't even begin to imagine where to begin, again mostly due to my own laziness and lack of inspiration. Guess it's good I haven't posted or interacted with anyone yet.

Also, like if I'm not sure I wanna make her an angel, what's even the point I guess? It's from the perspective of the angels. It just doesn't seem it'd sit right lol

Regardless, I'll be around. Have fun guys.

Oh it's cool. Just know this RP is meant to be more long term. I can't keep players for more than a few months lately, seems like life hits everybody at once when an RP dies. This one hopefully won't have the same problems with a smaller cast...

I understand that. I guess given the whole sandbox dynamic I felt a little less guilty for steeping away. But I am looking to try and keep things running for the long hall. Especially with a smaller group.

Sucks I can play a part like Robin or another bat family member, but I have some other plans that should be quite fun and work out well in the beyond/futuristic world.

I've come into more time, some new roleplay inspiration. I'd love to give it a shot with a somewhat experimental character. Although, I do have other ideas if you don't like it lol

Lucy had attempted to talk to the girl who'd seemed to be having trouble with her evidently newly acquired skills. She didn't understand why though. Was she a mutant just awakening to her potential? An inhuman? No... If that were the case somebody in the royal family would have been alerted to this. She'd wanted to explain the how to control this power, but she couldn't just yet until she knew what the power was.

The young inhuman opened her mouth to speak but before she could her phone rang. "I'm sorry," she said as she picked it up. It was Johnny, her father. He wanted her to meet up with him and despite wanting to help he was quite stern. She hung up and looked back to Maya. "Right now I have to leave," she took a breath before continuing to say, "but I'd like to give you my phone number. Call me when you get the chance. I'd never turn my back on somebody who needs help, Inhuman or otherwise." She said as she wrote down her current, new, contact information just before she heard another girl call out to her.

"Aha... My jacket?" Lucy was pretty happy to be complimented but she didn't have time to speak to Ivory (though she didn't know her name). "Thanks. I don't have time to really talk, but it's an Inhuman original." She said with a bright smile before flames ignited around her feet. They began to crawl up her legs, over her body until she was covered. "The only thing I can tell you for now is that you have to come to terms with yourself." She decided that even though she had to leave she could at least give the girl a few words of advice. Though she didn't know how much they would help. "Whatever the source of your abilities, they're a part of you. Like it or not. You'll never control it if you approach it with fear and never accept it." She finished her words as she began to float upwards. "Anyway, you have my number. So, give me a shout whenever." She said aloud before really taking off to meet Johnny.

That night was a simple one. A debriefing, a talk with Johnny and a call to Crystal. Lucy was pretty happy with herself, though disappointed she couldn't stay out much longer. In truth, she had to be ready for a press conference. Her king would be answering questions as she was presented as a sort of liaison, a representative of the Inhuman people, set to study at Empire State University. It was a big responsibility, but she was getting what she wanted; a chance to be out in society and not isolated. She could very well live with the pressure and responsibility if she was to live on her terms. Even if only a bit.

So, Lucy awoke with a confidence and a sense of purpose. She wasn't quite wearing the same clothing. Technically it was, but only because she had more than one of the same article of clothing. She would most likely need to shop for more normal clothes. Or have some made to withstand her powers among other forces of nature or combat. Still, today she added her cloak. Something like dramatic effect crossed her mind. It also felt just a hint more appropriate.

"Today, life begins a new." Lucy spoke in a whisper to herself before running out to meet with Johnny so they could leave and meet with other members of the Inhuman royal family.

Alright! I posted. Those of the peerage not currently in the room, you're being summoned. Feel free to finish anything else before being summoned to the room because of Tsumiki's magic. We're going on a little hunt. Humies and non peeragers, Feel free to somehow follow or attack us either during or after our little monster hunt, or do whatever you want. Otherwise, we'll be moving along now guys.

"Better a busy day than a boring day." Tsumiki answered Kenji as he completed the school paper work. He seemed content to allow things to go on as they were. It was good for Nora to have already been thrust into the world of what would effectively be her new family. However, he did hope Ekibe was careful not to confuse the girl too much. He smiled before their magic circle began to glow. He glanced at it, quite annoyed as he felt the presence approaching.

The light shined and from the magic circle appeared a girl. "Tsu-kuuuuuun~" She made the attempt to sound cute in giving Tsumiki a nickname, though the effect was ruined by her monotone voice.

"Don't do that." He said simply as he stood to greet the girl. "It doesn't suit you."

"Fine." She deadpanned before pulling out a small envelope that seemed as though it would burst soon due to be over packed with it's contents. "I assume you know why I've come to see you."

"It most certainly isn't because you missed my good looks." Tsumiki spoke sarcastically. "What does he want now?"

"Lord Belphegor has requested the service of you and your peerage." The girl replied throwing the envelope at Tsumiki.

Catching it, he would begin to sift through soem of the papers and pictures in it. "Three Stray Devils all at once?" He asked curiously. He read through the file. "They didn't even kill their master?" He scoffed in disbelief. "What idiot allowed a situation like this to get so far out of hand?"

"I believe it was the next heir of the 4 branch of the Asmodeus clan." With the information given by the mysterious girl Tsumiki couldn't help but sigh as he shook his head.

"Dammit..." He grit his teeth before tossing the papers onto his desk.

"If possible, Lord Belphegor would like this case to be kept under lock and key and dealt with by morning."

"That's..." Tsumiki wanted to question the sanity of the task and it's stipulations. It was frustrating. They would need to track down, corner and exterminate these stray devils. Still, the young King couldn't argue. This was a request from one of the five great Satans. Even worse, this girl alone wouldn't tolerate the disrespect if they took things too far. "We'll complete the task as quickly as possible."

"Very well. I'll return then." She stopped glancing for a moment at Nora. "I see your Peerage continues to grow by the day." She said as the magic circle once again began to glow. "You should be more weary. Or perhaps you'll be the next to request aid from our Lord." She said before disappearing, much to Tsumiki's dismay.

Tsumiki didn't like her. "Kenji, Ekibe." He looked at them both. "Prepare yourselves. Nora, you'll be staying close to me. You're not ready for this part of our lives yet." He paused for another moment. "Unfortunately, you'll have to miss your contractual appointment." He added shifting his focus to Ekibe once more. "My apologies." He finished before holding his hand up to the magic circle. Generally he could do what he was about to do without the help of the magic circle, but it did prove useful as it would make the summoning of the other members of his peerage that much easier.

It glowed a deep red. Tsumiki didn't have much time to waste. His eyes glowed as well, each one's individual color contrasting the other. "Siegfried, Kohana, Argos. We have a mission." His voice was calm as he focused on the spell, though it the members he was summoning would hear his voice as they began to glow as well. Hopefully Sieg and Argos weren't too busy. He was sure they wouldn't be pleased with his interference in whatever they may or may not have been doing. Though this was a slightly more imperative task; one he hadn't anticipated receiving earlier.

Popped Cynthia into the Character tab. Might need to add some of the things we discussed on Discord just in case, but for now I'll play it by ear. After that, I'll try to read through the IC and get a post up by tomorrow night. Sorry for the disappearance.
