Equipment
He carries a sword hilt without a blade. This hilt uses technology that is designed to channel Ki and create a blade of energy that can cut through dense material. The stronger he gets the more sharper and powerful the blade gets. To create the blade the wielder must be able to control their Ki in order to maintain it and use it properly in combat. He calls the weapon The Star Blade.

Special Attacks/Techniques
Sonic Strike: Gin moves at incredible speeds and strikes his enemies with quick slashes of his blade. This technique relies on speed over strength.

Slicing Cyclone: He spins around at insane speeds and does a massive sweep of his sword to slice all enemies that are surrounding him.

Spearing Blade: He elongates his Ki blade to make it shoot out at a very fast pace to spear his foes with it. It is so far his only special technique that can hit at a range. It's maximum reach is forty feet.

How did you join the army?!

Something familiar about this, but I just can't put my finger on it.

Posted. And that, kids, is why Seth isn't getting a Keyblade. He doesn't bloody need one! xD
Seth caught both cylinders without a second thought, and quickly pocketed them. They'd come in handy, if not in this mission then at a later time. It never hurt to have extra tricks up one's sleeve after all. Alongside Drake's brief explanation of them, a Corridor opened nearby and produced Hakim of all people, "Great, that's just who I needed..." he said, not very subtle with his sarcasm. The two of them simply did not get along, and now Seth had accept help from him? Well, better that Hakim see this than the previous battle in Glory of France. The absolute last thing the Nobody needed was Hakim finding out about that and preaching at him some more.

"Come on, stop joking around..get serious..."

The Nobody sighed. This guy was just no fun at all, "Serious isn't exactly my forte..." he muttered, looking down at the ground briefly. Then - without warning - he shot his gaze back up at his would-be killer. Except... it wasn't a gaze, it was a full blown glare. His blue eye? It flared brighter than it ever had before. His grin? Still there, but it wasn't playful nor was it merely unsettling... it now looked outright sinister, "...but I hope you like having a bad time, because you just asked for it." No jokes here. No pranks. And no snark. Just an all-out declaration of war. For the first time since his recruitment into this little crusade... Seth was completely and utterly serious, and the assassin was about to pay dearly for it.

Without even needing a command, hordes of Snipers popped into existence around the trio of combatants. This was nothing like any previous action, where they would appear ten or twelve at a time at most. No, this was Seth's entire army. Every. Single. One. There were enough Snipers for it count as a whole legion, in fact. And every single one of them instantly put the assassin in their cross-hairs. Before they acted, Seth thrust his left hand forward and balled it into a fist. Sand floated up from the ground, and after that previous wave of the stuff from before, there was a lot of it. Again without warning, Seth swirled his arm in front him. Faster and faster until looked like a blur of motion. The sand he took hold off responded in kind, creating a killer sandstorm centered squarely around the assassin himself. It wasn't lethal to him, not so long as he had those portals defending him, but the storm did create another desired effect. It pretty much blinded anything and everything caught within it. Only then did his legion of Snipers open fire.

This was nothing like the start of the battle. Deflecting or avoiding a dozen shots or so was one thing. Good luck to anyone who had to try and do the same when that number multiplied exponentially, that's not even mentioning the factor of the sandstorm blinding their vision. One would think that would be enough for an opening move, but they'd be wrong. After the first two or three volleys, Seth held his free hand straight up above him. Nearly a third of his Sniper legion ceased their fire and floated over to him, forming up and converging a few feet above their commander's head. Their silvery white forms seemed to melt together, forming what looked like an oversized cannon that had a striking resemblance to Tocsax's Ultima Cannon. Seth stopped whirling his arm, which meant the sandstorm would slowly start to die down. He then lowered his other hand, point his finger directly in the assassin's direction in the shape of a gun, the cannon - called the Chaos Buster - charging up for a shot, "...bang." he muttered under his breath, which was apparently enough of a signal for the Chaos Buster to fire its powerful energy beam at the assassin. And yes, it's firepower could easily match the Ultima Cannon, perhaps even surpass should Seth decide to include more of his Snipers in the convergence. Oh, and by the way, the remaining Snipers that did not help form the Chaos Buster never stopped firing volleys at the assassin either.

"Serious enough for you?" Asked Seth, letting a Corridor open behind him, "I've got places to be. You can handle him from here, right old man?" he glanced in Hakim's direction briefly before hopping backwards through the Corridor. When Seth left, his Snipers all left with him, warping away through their personal wormholes no differently then how they arrived.

A Corridor opened just behind Drake's position, and produced Seth who appeared to have hopped through it backwards. He slowly turned around to face Drake and... his old playful grin was once again plastered on his face, "Whelp... we done here yet? Just say the word and I'll get us topside on the ship in a jiffy."
The briefing included everyone but a single absentee. Nero was nowhere to be seen, and for him that was actually very odd behavior. He always silently obeyed every order and every regulation without so much as a small groan or complaint. For him to be late was a strange thing indeed. In actuality, he was in the ship's gym. It was here that soldiers trained, usually in sparring matches. The so-called dark elf - however - was alone. He always was. He made a habit of using the training facilities at times when he knew no one else would be present. The less he had to show his face, the better. So there he was, in the gym hanging on one of the bars completing what could easily have been his hundredth or thousandth rep doing chin-ups. His armor was - on this rare occasion - mostly taken off. The breastplate lay on a nearby bench along with his helmet, gloves, and boots.

In all honesty, Nero's presence at the briefings were not entirely necessary. The introverted soldier would just quietly obey orders regardless of what the actual mission was. And usually, his orders were almost always the same. His particular... skill set usually earned him the role of "meat shield" for someone else, since the Rylokian easily had the highest endurance and tolerance for pain than anyone else on the ship. Either that or he'd be ordered to flank the enemy position and ambush them from behind with his Ki Blades. Either way, both tasks were things he'd proven countless times to be very good at. There was little reason to have him do anything else, though he obviously would if given the order.

He spent a lot of off time in this gym. Where most other soldiers would spend their free time getting a drink, a meal, or even a woman from some shady brothel somewhere... Nero just toiled away in the gym, as if his training somehow needed to be constant and nonstop for some undisclosed reason. The truth was simply that he didn't know what else to do. The only instinct he had was to follow orders, and nothing else mattered. In essence, much of Nero's free time was spent simply waiting for new orders... him passing the time with little else but training and exercise.
Blarg, I've said far more than I ever needed to or should have on this matter and - frankly - this is just going in circles now. So if it's all the same to everyone else, I'm just going to stop this cycle before it can get any worse.
As a matter of fact I have watch Kenshin Twice. You're just overblowing the level of the show's power. That's like me taking Hero tales and putting it up on Saiyan Saga DBZ levels. (1)Jack's taken out hundreds of robotic beetles, and fought demons just like others have pointed out on here. Zoro can takes insane amounts of punishment. Kenshin's world is put in fundamentally normal realms of power with Kenshin and the other superior duelists going on to do super human levels of speed. At best I'd put him at super sonic like you said. Last time I checked no (2)samurai can cut a mountain in half like Zoro has. Nor can they fight off the waves of robotic machines by themselves like Jack has. Zoro can create a freaking tornado in the air. More over he has easily cut through solid steel. If Kenshin can somehow even manage to speed blitz Zoro (say with his ultimate technique he used against the final villain of the kyoto arc) if he doesn't instantly kill him with that technique Zoro's going to recover and break Kenshin's sword. (3)Does Casually picking up a building seem normal for ANYONE in Kenshin's universe?

Other feats of Zoro can be seen in my other links above and here. Please go take a look at those things. Reddit especially is easier to understand.

Jack was crushed by a 700-ton sumo and survived it. He also has beaten ancient entities such as the nordic champion guy in his own mountain. He ran across a field some 300 meters or so in length, dodging arrows from 3 supernaturally - enhanced archers capable of firing thousands of arrows per second each (who had previously decimated an entire robot army in the span of a few seconds), and he reached their tower, climbed up to the top, and defeated them. He also did this blindfolded. Saying he can't fight Kenshin is not right.

1. Okay, but I can clearly recall Kenshin taking on large numbers of ronin and bandits and defeating them just as handily. Those aren't the same as robots or demons, I'll definitely grant you that. But I feel like you're downplaying Kenshin just as much as you say I'm overblowing him.
2. Well... I would argue Seijuro could. But this argument is about Kenshin, not him, so I'll just avoid dragging him into this.
3. One of the Juppongatana was a literal giant. Granted, Seijuro defeated him easily but - given his size - he probably could lift a building. There's a precedent for it is what I'm saying here.
Being engineered from dust touched by Beerus =//= Clone of Beerus.

It kind of does. For the millionth time, cloning isn't always what Hollywood portrays it as. Just because Voide isn't an exact duplicate of Beerus doesn't make her any less of a clone. She created with the sole purpose of emulating his appearance and powers, using Beerus himself as the template. That, right there, is the textbook definition cloning. She. Is. A. Clone. Period.

As far as average schmucks go, Yamcha, Tien and Krillin all started out with powelevels at around 50. (1)By the end of Z, they are top 15 strongest beings in universe 7, for sure. And none of them even tried all that hard, or got any reasonable powerups, either. If Tien had gotten the mystic power up by the Elder Kai, or if Yamcha had learnt the Kaioken, or a million other things, the series would be completely different.

The whole point of Dragon Ball is that what you're at birth does not define you. "With hard enough training, even a low-class can overcome an elite" is what the show's always about. ((2)A bit distracted by the fact that the show's always focused on Goku and Vegeta, and them constantly getting powerups based on their genetics as Saiyans, but Toriyama was never the best at storyboarding.)

Due to the constraints of the RP, we'll probably never see any real rifts in power. Perhaps arcwise one character will get a powerup, and in the next one, someone else will.

Besides, (3)didn't you just preach how you didn't want this to be a game about power levels, but an interesting story? Even characters that aren't the strongest can still add interesting elements to a story. Look at One Piece, for instance.

1. Hahahahahaha... No. They aren't. At all. Or does all the dead villains and other divine characters in Otherworld that still far outclass them not count?
2. This, I will agree with.
3. Yes, I did. Hence why I opened that statement by clarifying that it was a hypothetical scenario.

These people with their genetics are basically Superman. Kind of. The point is, if they're going to be that strong due to their genetics and stuff, why then should I bother getting invested or give a damn about them? That's why I mentioned Superman, since in the hands of an average writer he's a disgustingly OP character who never has to struggle and, ergo, is not interesting to read about.
For the record, I don't see how specifying that Voide is a clone of Beerus and not Buu is supposed to help her case. If anything that just makes it worse. Plus, there's no longer any suspense or mystery about who will survive missions or end up the strongest. It's perfectly obvious who that is, it's the person who cloned from fucking BEERUS, the most powerful being in the goddamned universe!

Like, in a hypothetical scenario, what chance could a broken schmuck like Nero have when he's surrounded on all sides by these super special snowflakes and their extra special genes and stuff that will no doubt make them far more disgustingly powerful than an average schmoe like Nero ever has a chance at being?
Hey double, chill out man.

Why not watch TFS make their Bloodborne character? Its pretty hilarious if you haven't seen it yet.

Let me guess they go out of their way to make the most butt ugly character imaginable while cracking unfunny jokes and giggling at their so-called "cleverness". Yeah, I've seen them play Fallout 4 already so I think I'll pass.
No. No he really doesn't. Kenshin is normal human. Jack, and Zoro easily are super human. No matter his fighting style both of the players are simply way to fast for him. Maybe if Kenshin fought pre-crocodile zoro he'd have a chance since they're on even terms there he'd win but I don't see him defeating either of them. But you seem ardent on your support for both characters so I'll ask that we agree to disagree on terms of characters.

As for death battle itself I enjoy them but I don't take their fights seriously. Captain easily beats no-prep batman he has no pressure points for batman to take care of, Toph got a hell of a lot of advantages she had in her fight which were all situational on Gaara, and from what I heard Sol vs. Ragna was poorly handled and researched.

You've never watched or read Rurouni Kenshin, have you? Kenshin is not a normal human, by any stretch of the imagination. Or was I just imagining all the countless times he moved so fast you couldn't see it and others described it as "God speed"? Or was I imagining those times where he swung his sword so hard and fast it created supersonic wind slashes or sent tremors along the ground?
