not the biggest post, but it gets the two teamwork moves I want to perform initialized. I give you permission to do whatever you need with my two chars to mount the log or robot.

There were no words.

No words.

That could describe the rage that Julian so desperately wanted to express right now

Lilly was torn between how much of a terrible idea it was to leave Julian in the hands of someone that excitable and how hilarious it was to watch as Julian's override personality dutifully kneeled down and presented his arm as a step up to his shoulders. On a second consideration it was perhaps not the worst idea, Cedar was noticeably tired, and riding Julian would take some of the strain off and let her rest till they found something for her to eat and drink. Also the process of mounting taking a little while meant she wouldn't be far behind when they set out, meaning she could keep an eye on the two of them and easily catch up if something went wrong.

Speaking of food, she turned back to the two gentlemen inspecting the little tree alcove

”you two find anything good down there?”

She asked, crouching down, ready to help them get back up and over the log

After several tries junlian finally got something that was in the ballpark of what he wanted to express past his aggression filter.

“I am not your little pony”

While this statement was technically true, it did not mean that he was any less ready to give Cedar a piggy back ride.
I'd imagine the dummies would almost certainly become interested in a sudden open transmission from the Glacier (I'd imagine a lot of tech countries would).

Indeed they would be. Once they set up a base in the center of the map I'll be sure to have them pay the Daleks a visit

<Snipped quote by Hammerman>

It is safe to assume so, I believe you could try making a coating using gold and the sap from the Arkellis flower. However the Arkellis flower has one more property that I forgot to mention, it can only grow on metals, so you don't need soils, but something metal for it to root into.

Like a node perhaps? that could be some nice imagery with the metal tree blooming

@Lmpkio
I know what you mean, this RP regularly makes me go "I wanna add X to it".

Dummy Tech
We have revived your call, a technician will be with you in a few hours

day 31, Early evening

After it had rerouted it’s 2 eastern scouting parties up to the coast in order to avoid treading on the toes of Raynor's Raiders, the CPU ended up encountering an SOS signal.

Of particular interest to the CPU was the mention of a generator (perhaps reference to a Node or some other kind of mega structure) and of the fortification the group where hiding in. The CPU hoped that continued research of the various structures of the Array would bring it to a greater understanding of the Station and the fortification was the first instance it had heard of something that could be lived in and thus might contain records or simply clues about the creators of the massive artificial space habitat.

It was fortuitous then that, as the rockets and fighters skimmed above the waves just off the coast of the ocean, that the desert it was trying to avoid gave way to a brown rocky badlands. It’s rocklets, lacking any kind of mechanisms like wings to allow for a banked turns, decelerated to a stop and then launched themselves southeast, across the badlands hex separating the distress signal from the sea.

To the south was the territory of Raynor’s Raiders with whom it had had a brief encounter earlier today. Small columns of dust could be seen rising from the vast sun scorched expanse, indicating where the patrol routes it had been warned about where rolling across the sandy terrain. In it’s encounter with the Raiders they had come of as rude, no nonsense insular military types, whose presence and expansion so close to it’s own facilities worried it greatly. Of less of a concern, in it’s mide at least, was(what it believed to be) the Republic to the west. They had come of as amicable, in its brief interaction with them at least.

Speaking of the Dominion, between checking back on the progress of their construction of a base around the volcano top node, making sure that the new Dummies and equipment that were being constantly manufactured were being put to work, that the huge number of craft and troops that were currently being put together into it’s central occupation task force weren't crashing into each other, doing experiments on the node, slowly scouting both the underground around it’s node and the surface around its fortress, the CPU was swamped with tasks. It was like having so many tabs open in a browser that even the small icons indicating what the tabs where for had become non visible, making switching to them a laborious and wasteful task as it kept tabbing it’s intelligence to the wrong group.

It really had to find someone to delegate tasks to, either clients or employees. It had primarily made use of pioneers buying it’s equipment to spread it’s influence and gain wealth previously, but so far there had been a distinct lack of buyers. Also it desired an actual military/research presence on the Array in-order to learn it’s secrets so that it could sell them and thus become more secure in it’s continued existence. Thus, it would need subordinates, something it had avoided previously for the sake of ensuring it’s location remained secret, now that looked like the only way to increase it’s multitasking ability. It would have to decide where to get it’s hired help, either it would have to be from home, or from here.

A question to consider later, for now, it’s 20 craft were approaching the site of the distress signal, just as the sun was going down. The CPU looked around at the region below and found a nice looking plateau to set down upon, there it would build a strike base from which it would launch its investigations into the source of the distress signal come morning. a slower moving harrier, along with two gunships, was launched from it's base back in the south, carrying a bunch of communication equipment it would be using to contact the distressed people in the morning and some heavier Units. For now, it would make do with the tactical information it could glean form it's sensors on arrival and of what it could see from it's vantage-point of the surrounding area.

Dostya spent most of the time waiting for the others to come in basking in the serene silence that Cipher’s nullification field offered, putting a gag on her muse for even a few minutes was a simply sublime respite from its eternal enthusiastic suggestions. She was almost sad that they were going out again, but the chance to test her latest tweaks in a combat situation was at least a partial concession, something to look forward to. The group she was going to be with where going to be a little difficult to deal with: The child higher in rank than her didn’t want to be there and she was pretty sure that Pinpoint didn’t like her. Dostya always had the impression that the woman was looking at her with distaste whenever the two crossed paths. At least she would have Blink, she did like to see him and her own machines working together and he was rather amicable once you got past his blunt exterior and barbed tongue. Fortunately for her, she had thick skin. She’d grafted it on herself. Echidna was in her experience nice to be around, even if her perception of reality was a little of center.

After unfurling herself from the floor and joining the procession of Children preparing for departure Dostya made a brief detour to what could be considered the children’s an armory. While keeping the weapons of the children locked up might seem rather pointless when some of their natural abilities were equivalent to WMDs it was nonetheless sensible to not leave munitions and firearms lying about their living area

After some consideration of their mission, sneaky wolf monsters, and team, that already included a sharpshooter, she decided to go with the GAU-8 Avenger. This 30 mm hydraulically driven seven-barrel Gatling-type autocannon was something that she had brought home from one mission that had been near a historical war exhibit, where she had ripped it out of the warthog aircraft that it was built around the enormous weapon. Despite its antiquated design it was hard to argue against the effectiveness of something that could spray a target with 65 spearhead sized hunks of metal, all flying a velocity of a thousand m/s, in a single second. While nowhere near the devastating potential of their telekinetic, it was considerably more reliable. A perforated sidewalk was preferable to the possibility of severe structural collapse of any nearby buildings.

Hefting the 3M long gun, mounting it’s ammo feeder atop her abdomen, she made her way to gate 4, smiling as she saw Blink already there. She trotted over to join him and the silent gate guard.
I will probably re-rout a scouting expedition to investigate the SOS

@Some Wierd Bird

If you are looking for someone to pay you to go there, the Dummy tech might be wiling (depending on the size of the junker force) to provide either their own equipment or manufacturing for munitions, replacement parts or whole vehicles in return for assistance in securing the fortification.
@Lmpkio@Zarkun

ok then. in that case do either of you know any good way of doing colabs?
@Lmpkio@Zarkun

Should we also do a colab for our volcano top get-together, seeing as it's going to be a 3-way conversation which would take up way to may normal posts to do properly?
