Man, these guys are actually screwed. since Alice can actively choose to exhale spores that give men the funny feeling down south, or just salivate them, so she doesn't poison the atmosphere wherever she goes, as a part of her race.
That's cool, I just wanted to make sure I could message you lol
Lol
Go for it. Just a fair warning, I'm the primary prep person at my job, and I work everyday, except Wednesday and Sunday, from 9-5 EST. So, long-form answers will be sparse, since I have, roughly, an hour and fifteen minutes during my walk to work, and I'm notoriously (and, admittedly) lazy on my Wednesday off.
I, usually, just play FFXIV all day. Just bought Watch Dog: Legion UE for $37, so that's my new addiction.
Sunday, I run a Pathfinder campaign from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM~4:00 PM.
I'm loving the actual showing from everyone, so far. Everyone's introspection has been very well-crafted, from understandably apprehensive to simply confused. Everyone's boiled themselves down to try and grasp at what it means to be Human, inside and outside, when you are already a Monster, and how to gain purpose from that.
Mae's inherent wish to be a caretaker, beloved and respected, but not feared; to be as warm and inviting as a rolling kitchen, and as loved as a hot meal at the dinner table.
Levia's intrinsic need to strive her own path, be recognized as one that was strong, yet there's a sense of vulnerability in the hate that shrouds her; a lost child, longing for belonging and home.
Gamma's built-in drive to ascend, to claw and climb her way from the bottom of her infancy to the apex of her elderhood; the motivation to see herself become God as Humans do, evolving her purpose down a new path.
Tungsten's deconstruction and reconstruction of "purpose" and "meaning" and how it all relates to "character" when to preexisting values are stripped of their current meaning, and you're told to redefine then; to ask yourself, "Who am I," and "What am I," to find buried meaning.
All that's left is Cormac's old man musing on the matter, and I'm very, very excited to start the next post.
Tungsten coming up to bat with a spooky Cu Alter skin. I love it. There's only one thing to nitpick at, and that's Tungsten choosing a preexisting skinsuit to put on. However, that's just a small rewrite to play it off as Tungsten imagining himself doing that.
Everyone is, basically, imagining their Human skin, and then it will be tailored by Faetalis in the next GM post.
So quick question, do the stats really matter and how do I calculate if it does? How does one come up with the total power? Also @Enkryption if you have some time Id like to work on some of this with you, specifically his spells and such.
The PvP Element to this is a farcical in nature, because you'll hardly be challenged by The New World, real talk. However, it serves to better understand your character's mechanical nature alongside their narrative nature; after all, an Overseer with a Spellcasting Focus isn't going to have 90 Physical Attack, but 90 Magical Attack wouldn't be so out of place.
It's something to help you shape your character's affect on the world, and help other players instantly gleam your focuses. As for the calculation, you can allocate 10 Points x your Overseer's Level to all stats, which cannot go passed 75 without extremely good reason. So, you've a total potential of 750 Points you can spend, if you make a Lv75 Overseer.
And, lastly, I don't have time for sit-down sessions, but I'm always checking on my PMs, so just sent me what you wanna work on, and we'll hash it out in the PMs.
Before the girls went away on their quests, he walked up to them for a moment.
"Greetings and welcome to Zipangu. I'm Kannazuki Shizuka, the acting captain of Kyoko-sama's taskforce. Ayu already explained the gist of our current situation; right now the other member are out locating Lord Takeshi's allies in order to aid against the Varjan invaders. Some of them should be returning soon. In the meantime, I'll need to remain here to meet with them and discuss our next plan of action. Good luck on your endeavor and let us know if need assistance with anything."
"Yeah! Thanks! Sure! Bybi!" Alice shouted, before she was gone - her stumbling movement hard to stop.
Upon hearing the tale in full bardic glory, Alice would accept the mission at hand. From the sound of it, the folks were possessed by the Demon Energy of the Heavenly Strike, and their blades had become Cursed Swords. If anything, that assumption surely made her the best choice to take on this affair.
After all, she had years of combat experience through Carroll's Parasitization, and her own "Mad" cleverness.
And, should that fail, she had her trump card...
However, such thoughts were for the future. Right now, she had to travel in the direction she was given on the task she was requested.
"Carroll, you think we should ask that man for help," Alice asks, remembering Kannasuki's offer of aid.
"Hell no!" Carroll barked, as he remembered him, as well. "We don't need help from the pretty boy swordsman and his edgy boyfriend."
Alice blushed. "D-D-Don't assume that!" she admonished. "They could be really close friends, you know."
"I'm just saying,". Carroll says, "You felt his Demon Energy fluctuate when the pretty boy lectured him. Pretty suspect, in my opinion. Makes me wonder who's the top and who's the bottom."
"Honestly...?" Alice pursed her lips, as she pressed the nearly filed nail of her left pointer into the lower of the pair, "I didn't feel anything of significance from either of them, so I really didn't care to pay attention. Kanna just seemed nice to offer help for a Human. But, I do think, he's the top. Brutes tend to be secretly submissive in bed. And, Human men, so rarely, settle for less than dominance in the bedroom when laying another species."
Alice giggled pervertedly for a long moment, all sense of Human shame dashed in a fit of Mad Hatterness, before she veered back onto the topic at hand, "Regardless, all we need to focus on is acquiring the Heavenly Strike technique, right? To that end, we must defeat our foes and be taught it."
"That, or we cut down its users, one by one, and take their Demon Energy for ourselves. In doing so, I will scry the technique, and you will master it yourself in combat, like any other sword technique," Carroll says.
"Either way, we'll be one step closer to getting Our Wonderland back!" Alice says, her expression one of childish playfulness wrapped in sinister intent.
"Once and for all..." Carroll says.
Missions in mind, Alice would continue on the path she was beset upon by the musician... walking alone on a path that would bring her to clash with those that could cleave lightning itself, and best thunderborn beast in a single pass.
If she could adapt that strike into Carroll's moveset and apply his vorpal edge... perhaps... she could slice open the very bounds of reality, and return...
