Description:
Jaden Domingeuz's twin sister - but technically the older one because she came out first. Much like Jaden, she's young, part Haitian and Columbian, and dark-skinned. However, she was the more eccentric one out of the two. She's far more energetic, has a fascination with reptiles, and dresses and acts in a way that draws attention. Of course she and Jaden go together well, getting into trouble. However, she went missing a few weeks ago and it's Jaden's top priority to find her.

Extra-Normal Ability:
Collective-Awakening.
Cierra is apart of the same Collective-Awakening as Jaden was, and thus they share similar abilities. The distribution of abilities is a bit different from her brother's. She received 70% of her own abstraction and 10% in power with everyone else's. Cierra's main abstraction is one rooted in her fascination with reptiles and her innate thoughts of being an outsider; she has the ability to mimic reptiles without actually transforming into one. This gives her increased strength and durability, wall-crawling, camouflage, and regeneration. She can also produce claws, an alligator's jaws, and a tail made out of purple aura. From her brother, she received the ability Familial Blinding, in which two hands that look awfully familiar to her deceased sisters appear and cover her eyes. This ability allows her to resist any and all mental abstractions fully and also protect her from any side effects from abstractions, while also cutting off her connection with the Extra-Normal while it's active. Cierra, from Reese, got the ability to produce a shotgun-style blast of pellets that travel two feet away from her and from her friend Mariah she got the ability to teleport up to six feet away from danger.

Mariah K. Phoenix

Description:
The victim of some severe childhood abuse that got away from it by moving away from big-city Philadelphia and slightly smaller big city Araminta. Those are wounds that never heal, but her therapist tells her she's making huge bounds. She hides that darkness in her with a cheerful and jovial attitude that cracks jokes. Which made her the perfect BFF for Cierra. However, now that she's gone back to that dark spot. Like Cierra she's a young African-American girl that stands only a few inches under her friend.

Extra-Normal Ability:
Collective-Awakening.
Mariah is apart of the same Collective as Jaden, so she shares similar powers. Her power distribution goes like 60% her own abstraction, 30% Cierra's, and 5% the other two. Mariah's personal abstraction is to create a pink barrier around herself and the people she cares about. She can create barriers on thought around these people, and can potentially create a shield around them from the other side of the planet (or through dimensions). This barrier follows her and can be up to a quarter-mile in size, but the larger the barrier the less durable it is. From Cierra, she gained a link between the two where she gets a power boost just by being in her presence, that she can distribute to other Extra-Normal beings. From the other two she gained a small piece of their abilities; From Jaden; Mariah can occasionally channel a force that tells her something completely random and she can do this every thirty minutes. From Reese, she can fire a barrage of marble-sized energy balls that do next to no damage.

Amelia T. Dallon

Description:
A strange one in Araminta, she was once an orphan that was born in Texas. She was adopted by a family in Araminta who she lived with until she sent herself off to the local university when she got out the system. She never had too many friends and people find her off - but she managed to get into a relationship with Kaitlyn Liao. That fell apart and now she's been stalking the girl, trying to find some way to fix things. Amelia is a girl of ambiguous ethnicity. She's tall, a mixture of South American and European ethnicities, and is in very good shape due to attending the gym. When she's not stalking her ex, she can be found wandering around the forest with her trusty knife.

Extra-Normal Ability:
Awakened - Aura-Spider Mimicry.
Based on her connection with spiders and stalkerish tendencies, Amelia has the ability to spawn spider limbs from her back. They're glowing an olive-colored light, and are each twelve feet in length. These legs are attached to her spiritually and are created by her aura itself. A personalized aura field. These legs are capable of climbing on any surface a spider is capable of, and are strong enough to lift her up. Making her capable of far more speed, stealth, flexibility, and more. They're pointed at the very tip, and, thus, are capable of being used as weapons. Not quite the best weapon, but it can leave a nasty wound. Amelia is capable of wall-crawling without the usage of her legs. The other half of her abilities is the power to create "webs" out of her body (including her spider's web). They appear identical to regular spider webs, but they're made out of the same glowing olive-green aura. She is capable of basic techniques such as spinning a thread, but she can also fire it out in huge nets - and at the very most, can create objects out of it. It's always thick as a cord, and its stickiness is dependant upon Amelia. They have a localized telekinetic field responsible for their adhesive qualities - so if she wants to, she can be completely immune to her own web's effects. The web is pretty strong, enough to bind a human being and they'll be helpless against it.

Tanya L. Lamont

Description:
A stranger to the masses of Araminta. Nobody has seen or heard of her before, nor is she seen in the city often. More often than naught, she's seen in the woods of Araminta playing beautiful songs on her guitar. She's an African-American girl that speaks with a thick Jamaican accent. What's strange about her is that she mainly shows herself to the Extra-Normal, and speaks of strange things - namely other worlds. Which suggests that she's Extra-Normal herself.

Extra-Normal Ability:
Has demonstrated no Extra-Normal abilities, but can at least perceive it.

The creature that was on top of Jaden was knocked to the ground by a giant fucking ladybug. At this point, Jaden couldn't be weirded out by the weird shit that this town seems to house. He didn't know to thank the thing - mostly because he had no idea if the fuckin' thing could understand him. He turned his attention towards the freaks. These things were... familiar. He didn't know why, but Jaden wasn't going to overthink this. They needed to get the Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo out of here ASAP. However, the monsters were piling on one of the people. Because Jaden was distracted with the whole preventing himself from getting murdered thing; he couldn't tell. What he could tell was that she was screwed, and he didn't have the firepower to get them off.

A massive scream erupted from the pile followed by a massive shockwave that sent everything flying. Jaden, out of sheer instinct, Jaden put both of his hands up and created a barrier. He managed to withstand the onslaught which destroyed the shield instantly, but he still fell over. Fortunately, all the monsters were knocked over. What in the fuck was-

That was her abstraction, telekinetic in nature.

The Familial Reflection appeared for a second and answered his question... not that it was any use. Didn't she just shoot fire? Was she a Collective like Ja-

Thank you. Jaden thought as he got up to his feet. The creatures were nowhere near him... and he heard what he thought one of the monsters shout for the group to come this way. He thought it was one of them because it was freakish, but it was carrying a member of their group and others were following. The sigil of the Chameleon illuminated as Jaden slowly vanished into thin air. The keenest eye could see him follow after the group but the creatures didn't notice him.

Kaitlyn was sent flying herself and the blast - while not as effective as a baseline human - hit her like a truck. She was sent flying, rolling across the ground as she was covered in scrapes and bruises. She lifted her head as her ears were ringing and her vision blurry. She lifted her body for a second as she saw all the monsters were sent flying too. Maybe this was a good sign... however, she was sent far away from help as one of the versions of Amelia decided to attack her. It grabbed her with one of its weird spindly hands and lifted her - choking her violently.

However, Kaitlyn still had her abstraction at her fingertips as the wave on her neck illuminated and a shark made out of water appeared from the creature's feet and chomped down on the freak. Katie was realized from its grasp and fell onto her feet. The water disappeared as the thing was still alive, but Katie stuck her hand out and a geyser of water appeared and sent the thing into a wall to its death.

Before the force hit her, Rita threw her rock at one of the creatures only for it to shatter on impact and do absolutely nothing. What was weird was that the monsters were being burned and attacked by... nothing? Rita couldn't see a damn thing because she was a Blind. When the blast from Kayla hit she was fortunately on the outskirts of it so she wasn't instantaneously killed. However, it still sent her flying into a wall that hurt like, well, a fuckin' wall. She looked up and saw strange shapes closing in on her - but her vision was blurry, rapidly fading.

Of course, the shapes that were approaching Rita were the creatures. Katie realized that she had to save the girl, she clapped her hands together as the wave on her neck illuminated. A massive geyser of water appeared at Rita's feet that was strong enough to launch her into the air and woke her up. It knocked her out of reach of the monsters and the water faded away, but she was about thirty feet in the air. With another exertion of her ability a waterspout appeared and carried Rita over to her.

Rita screamed at the top of her lungs the whole time and stopped when she landed on her behind right at Katie's feet. All that spinning didn't help her at fucking all and she was still blurry. All she could see was the chubby girl lift her to her feet. Don't suppose you can carry both of us, fattie. Rita thought to herself as Katie put herself under Rita's arm.

A wave appeared at their feet and carried them after the group and Rita's question was answered. The wave died out as their feet touched the ground as another wave of water appeared and carried the two after the group.

As Archie led them to the warehouse Jaden realized that the place had some tactical advantage. They might be able to hold them off here... but his vision was dark and he found it very hard to see. It was like Jaden was one of them four-eyes without their glasses. The creatures were approaching from all sides and Jaden wondered if it would be really smart to re-appear. Maybe he should just strike out on his own... but, strength in numbers. He would rather fight a hundred monsters with these guys, than without them.

However... a ray of hope appeared out of complete nowhere.

A ring of spinning purple light appeared and it quickly became obvious that it was a portal. On the other side, they could see street lights and a mousy girl stuck her hand through the portal.

"Guys, this way!" She shouted, "C'mon! We don't have much time!"

Brianna H. Grier

Description:
Brianna is a small, mousy looking young girl with auburn colored hair tied neatly into a bun. She has green eyes and gentle lips that are often overshadowed by her round looking nose. She's pretty short at around five-two but due to keeping up with a steady gym regime she stays thin and healthy. She usually looks tired with bags underneath her eyes due to staying up obsessively, chasing after her mark: The Witch. After becoming a target of the Horde, she found out about the existence of the Witch and is desperate to stop her at any cost.

Extra-Normal Ability:
Adept - Portal Creation & Fire Blasts.
Brianna is an Adept that inherited two different types of Lux, and they manifested into two different Abstractions. Her Channeler is, funnily enough, her cellphone and her primary color is purple and it allows her to create portals to different locations. She can't instantaneously create portals, but she can create a portal almost anywhere in Araminta that she can visualize and even portals into other dimensions. Her other abstraction is rooted in the red light and allows her to create weak fireballs.

The Witch

Description:
Nobody knows who is under the red robes with a deer skull and horns blocking her face, but whoever it is; she's an immensely powerful being capable of threatening Araminta and possibly the world. The only part of her that isn't concealed is her hands which reveal she's Caucasian, but she's otherwise average in build and height.

Extra-Normal Ability:
It's presently unknown what her exact abilities are.

Daria H. Wallace

Description:
Usually behind a desk at the local library is Daria Wallace, a blue haired older woman. She's a typically average height, thin-framed, woman who's the mother of two children that are five and three years old respectively. She's the librarian of the Araminta Serenity Library and she's a reserved, but kind and reasonable woman. A year ago her husband died in a car accident and she has been taking it relatively well, however recently she's been a lot more distant. She harbors a secret fascination in the occult that she had since she was a teenager herself.

Extra-Normal Ability:
None that we know of.

The Black Schuck

Description:
A strange being taking the shape of a black wolf with bright red eyes. Its size varies, sometimes it's the size of a wolf... other times much bigger. It doesn't seem to be the talkative sort but there are legends about it around Araminta. It always shows up where someone has died and leads them to the deceased. Afterward, it disappears... but there's obviously much more to it.

Extra-Normal Ability:
The Black Shuck's abilities are unknown, but it seems to be connected to death.

The Horde

Description:
A band of serial killers that have been making waves around Araminta. Almost literally. It was originally believed that there was only one killer, but further evidence suggests that there are many. How many is the question, but they all seem to wear a mask of some sort, have glowing eyes, wear a hood, and use a weapon to kill. They're supernatural in nature because they're way faster, tougher, and stronger than any human being ought to be.

Extra-Normal Ability:
It's unknown what they are, but the Horde is strong, fast, and tough as nails. So it's possible that they are Extra-Normal... but it's also possible they aren't even human.

LIMITS ⫻ While inside of Elias, Elle can only sense what Elias senses. This functionally means that the Apparition cannot react to what Elias doesn't see, but while out she can react a bit more independently. It takes a few seconds for the Apparition to manifest as well. The Apparition can be commanded by Elias to an extent, but her primary function will be protecting Elias. She cannot travel more than two meters away from him and the largest she can create a barrier is twenty feet in diameter. The Creative Defense can take a great deal of punishment, able to withstand a barrage of bullets but Extra-Normal attacks are far more effective against it than conventional. The Apparition accumulates damage in the form of cracks before the whole barrier breaks, but the Apparition can take a ton of damage.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ The Apparition's Creative Defense puts a certain type of stress on Elias. Whenever it's struck Elias feels a headache and dizziness for a few seconds before it fades. The stronger the attack, the worst the effect, and it can possibly end in nosebleeds for Elias.

Everyone was free, and the remaining tentacles retreated into the ground. Jaden sighed as he had to activate his barrier out of instinct to protect himself from the blinding light. So, his suspicion has more or less been confirmed. It wasn't time to think, they had to get the hell out of here. His military instinct was telling him, thanks to Starfire over there's little fire show and the Greaser's little boom, more of them were on the way. The only problem was... this isn't Araminta. Not one bit. Where in the hell do they retreat to?

The girl that Katie was trying to save transformed... into a ladybug? That was almost as strange as the tentacles attacking the group, but Katie pulled it together. She wondered if everyone here was supernatural, but it wasn't important. They had to get the hell out of here.

However, things went from bad to worse real quick. The street lights went completely dark as the group heard a mass of moans and other noises coming from the shadows. Then the lights snapped on and it revealed a horde of monsters coming towards them. The creatures were perceived differently by each member of the group; they were symbolic to them somehow.

To Jaden, the monsters took the appearance of vaguely humanoid creatures... but had feminine features like breasts and buttocks but no genitals beyond that. They walked on all fours, but on their left side, they had a scar-like they were cut apart. They had dark skin and had vaguely reptile-like scales. They had a messy head of black hair... but each of them.

To Kaitlyn, they were all spider-like. All having eight limbs... that were all oddly long human arms that ended with hands with more fingers any human arm should have. As for their body, they had the body of Amelia. They were almost exact copies of her if they weren't so spider-like in appearance. They had her face, her body... except their breasts were comically oversized. They all grinned at Kaitlyn as she was forced to pause for a second.

To Rita... they were large tall vaguely humanoid creatures with no head. They were featureless, no signs of gender or anything, except they had overtly long arms. Perfect copies of her mother's hands that she can't get out of her head.

There were hundreds of them, all coming down on the group from all directions.

Jaden knew this was not a fight they could win... even with Extra-Normal abilities. However, he looked around and these freaks were everywhere. "Make a way out, somehow!" Jaden shouted as he fired off a few blasts into the familiar-looking creatures. They were paused for a second but Jaden could not do real damage to them. One of these freaks lunged at him and Jaden put both of his hands up as he created a blue forcefield around himself to stop the blow. The thing kept attacking the barrier he put up but he saw some coming from around.

Kaitlyn had an idea to make a way out. Her abstraction turned on as a giant wave roared and went down the street and Katie could feel the uncomfortable cold hit her body like she was just dropped in the bottom of the deep blue sea. The creatures were washed away... but there was a lot of them. By the time the water disappeared she only cut a small chunk of them out of the picture.

Rita didn't know what the hell to do... she grabbed a rock and hoped for the best.
