"Well... We're not in Araminta any more, that's for sure. But then where the heck are we?"

"Ya' asking the wrong questions to the wrong people," Jaden said as he threw his hands behind his head. However, he got a hint from a little voice in his head.

"... This place is made from the same materials as Araminta," Jaden's sigil glowed brightly through his clothes as his abstraction unknowingly activated. The voice in his head was accompanied by the spectral reflection of Lynette appearing right in front of him. He felt chills go down his spine as he clenched his fist upon seeing his "sister". If that was even his sister. "It's like Araminta, but... not."

"Go away..." Jaden growled as he realized he looked crazy... to the Blind. Little did he know, the other Extra-Normals in the company could perceive the Reflection of his sister. Not that he realized that yet. On cue, the copy disappeared into thin air and he shook his head. Okay, that helped him answer one question as he turned his head towards the distance.

The sun was going down much, much, faster now. Like, darkness was approaching them at a frightening pace. It was almost like it was a wave that hit them. And like a wave, they were under complete darkness in an instant... before all the street lights snapped on. This Araminta was dark and foggy. The sky was, unlike it was during the day, completely dark. There were no stars, no moons... nothing in the sky above them.

However, there were some sounds in the distance no animal they knew of could make.

Before the group could react, three, flesh-colored, tentacles thick as roots appeared out of the chasm. They quickly grabbed onto Kayla, Terry, and Agatha and began yanking them downwards towards the chasm. If one were to take a good hard look; they appeared to have human faces on the side. What was strange was that the faces were different to each member of the group. To Kaitlyn, it had the faces of her brother, mother, grandmother, and other family members on it. To Jaden... it had his deceased sister and Cierra's face.

"What the fuck is that!?" Rita shouted as she fell backward directly on her ass as all she saw on the tentacles was her mother's face. She was scrambling backward as this was nothing that she had ever seen before. "Agatha!"

Jaden was at a loss for words... however, there was something inside of him that turned on and told him to fight. He didn't have too much in terms of weaponry, but he pointed at one of the tentacles with one finger and energy-charged up at his finger-tip. A blue ball about the size of a golf ball came out of his fingertip and hit one of the faces of the one holding Katla head-on... He wondered if this is what happened to Cierra for a moment, but he was going to ask questions later. It caused an impact but it was still holding on.

Katie was confused as to what in the hell was going on herself. These creatures... why did they have her Grandmother's face? She figured it might be a mind game of sorts, so she had to remain focused. She had to get the people free from this thing's grasp so she had an idea of her own. The wave on her neck illuminated with a blue light as lobster claws came out of the ground around Agatha and grabbed onto her very tightly. Stopping her from moving but it'll only last for so long. "Get her free!" Kaitlyn shouted. "I'll buy some time."

Rita was still scared out of her mind and desperately clawing her way backward. Her heart was racing and she wanted to run but that idea didn't cross her mind yet.
Abscised: The Abscised are Aberrants whose bodies have been possessed by an Apparition of some kind. Unlike Adjoined, there is no dual mind, only the Aberrant having control of the body. An Abscised can be created in a variety of different ways; mainly an Apparition can possess a body of the recently deceased. Upon doing so all wounds will instantly be healed and the Apparition has full control of the body. Another way an Abscised can be created is if an Apparition fools a human into giving them their body, or if an Adjoined, Affixed, or Agent is taken over by the Apparition they are attached to. An Apparition inside of the body of a human does not have to worry about belief and can still use their personal abstraction much like an Awakened can. However, an Abscised is cut off from the abilities inherent to Apparitions such as being nearly impossible to kill, being invisible, or changing their form. However, not all Abscised are Apparitions; if an Extra-Normal being has their body switched they are also known as Abscised. This can be accomplished through the usage of certain abstractions, or Apparitions (A person can be cursed to inhabit a different body). Since most Abstractions are linked to the soul, their Abstraction comes with them. It's possible for an Abscised to switch bodies with someone from a different dimension.

"If none of us know where the hell we are It'd probably be in our best interests not to go all lone wolf. At least until we all figure out where we are and if that purple lightshow's brought us somewhere dangerous."

"Strength in numbers, yeah?" Jaden agreed. He took a few steps off to the side and shrugged as he said, "But if ya'll want to go it alone, be my guess. Everyone here's an adult... I think."

"Hey! Where the hell are you going?! It's almost night, you can't just wander around all by yourself, it's fucking dangerous!"

Jaden merely watched the weirdo run off after the girl. Jaden sighed. This guy was probably fucking nuts - and he looked like the kind of guy that liked little girls. Now, while Jaden was relatively good at putting up the front of somebody who, well, just doesn't give a fuck he'd hate to see this little girl end up getting hacked to pieces.

"Goodness fuckin' gracious," Jaden said as he tore off after Tristan. Because he was somebody Jaden was gonna judge by his fuckin' cover! Also, Jaden was getting tired of everyone standing around, jerking off, asking the same two fucking questions over and over again! Yes, there was a beam of light, yes they're in a warehouse. Probably not in Araminta. He followed them out of the place because the faster they get out of here the better.

Katie, ultimately, decided to stay behind with the group. Namely the rambling one over here. The girl was tall... probably taller than her late grandmother. She raised an eyebrow when she said that "they" were after them. A small part of her wondered if she should ask. Another, bigger, part of her wondered if she was crazy. Either way, Katie walked over to the girl and put her hand on her shoulder and softly said,

"Calm down," Katie said, short and to the point. "You're acting crazy."

Rita, on the other hand, was confused. She heard another girl's voice in her head speaking. A mass of panicked thoughts and emotions that are not her own. It sounded a little bit like the girl that was raving and now... she was wondering if she was going crazy herself. Rita tried to downplay it.

"Yeah, calm your giant ass down," Rita said with an awkward smirk. "If anyone has been abducted by aliens, it's me."

"I think we should get a move on," Katie suggested, as she looked at the sun and saw it going down at a rate most would consider... unnatural.

Hey, ain't it a lil' weird that a bunch of dudes are following a girl around.

Jaden thought to himself as their little group marched up the hill. This was not right. Not one fuckin' bit. They're walking down the streets of Araminta's industrial section, and there ain't been a single methhead or hooker.

And well, nobody for that matter.

Araminta has never been this... desolate. Even at night, somebody is hanging around doing their thing. There was that creeping feeling here - very creepy - that they aren't in Araminta. Everything looks so familiar, though? What else could this plac-

The group reached the top of the hill and Jaden's jaw just dropped. He finally got the answer he was looking for as he saw, at the top of the hill, an anomaly not seen in any Araminta he knows! It was a massive chasm in front of him that stretched miles. He leaned forward to look down one end and he couldn't even see that shit! He looked down and all he saw was darkness. What was the weirdest part of the chasm was the fact that it didn't seem like it was carved out of the ground or anything. The roads, the buildings, and trees warped downwards as if it was normal. Before the chasm became complete darkness Jaden could see some buildings coming out of the side of the chasm. Naturally, Jaden raised an eyebrow. The other side of the chasm wasn't that far away. Hell, he could jump that shit all day long. Not that he was going to risk falling down a bottomless pit.

"... Okay, I think we got the answer to all the 'Where da' fuck are we' questions."
@silvermist1116 I find it weird that you put "Jewish & White" in his ethnicity section. Given one is an ethnic group and another is a skin color... when you could have gotten away with just white - but that's just me. Also, I know Asta is a nickname but it's kinda weird that you call him Elias in some sections of his sheet but Asta is the other. It's just confusing to read.

Now, onto the meat: his abstraction. I think it needs to be better explained for a number of reasons. For starters, it could be better explained that Elle is the Apparition that's affixed to him. Because that section is a liiiil' weird. Also, if he's Affixed then he wouldn't receive any powers beyond maybe aura reading, so it wouldn't be him that uses it, but instead, Ellie that can do all this stuff. You say that he can manipulate emotions but you don't really elaborate on that part, but personally I think you should make the main abstraction Ellie's creative defense and just say he can understand emotions through aura reading. Namely, because I think Creative Defense is the cooler ability and you won't get a lot of usage out of emotional manipulation.

Powerful attacks can take it out and send Elle back Asta

"Real question is, why would some people from a shithole in Pennsylvania and a different state entirely all get brought here..."

Jaden narrowed his eyes at the statement as he eyed a tattoo on the fat Asian chick's neck. He couldn't see the rest of her body but he doubted her prim ass would have a tattoo on her neck. Not any regular tattoo. He turned his head back towards Terry as he said, "... I got an idea." Not an idea he was going to act on, of course. The last thing that Jaden wanted was his little secret getting out to the wrong. The guy didn't exactly look like the kind of guy he wanted knowing his secrets. Given that he looked like some 80's greaser or whatever the fuck those white people call it. Jaden called it being greasy.

"Well," Rita said with a raised eyebrow as she looked at the group. "It's still not ringing a single fuckin' bell." She ran a hair through her hair as she looked around.

"Don't bother, girl," Katie said, hoping that she wasn't being too rude. Instead of standing around grasping at straws, she decided to consult her cellphone. Fortunately, she didn't lose it when she ended up here and after unlocking it she immediately realized there were no bars. There was no connection out here which was weird given that, despite all odds, even the most desolate parts of Araminta had a connection. She looked around and she saw tons of buildings so they weren't out in the middle of the woods.

"Well kids, wherever we are, it's probably Araminta. But something feels real off about this place."

"Kid?" Was the first thing that Jaden said when he turned his head towards David... he recognized this guy. He recognized him well. After the shitstorm with that crazy fucker with a knife, David interviewed him and while Jaden wasn't exactly the type to talk to the man; Cierra talked him into it. However, Jaden didn't exactly feel friendly with the guy. Nor did he look forward to their next "reunion".

"... I wouldn't be so quick to say that." Katie quietly said to herself as she stared at her cellphone for a few moments before locking it and putting it away. Kaitlyn was already convinced that there's something off about this place. She was wondering if that abstraction of hers still worked here, but much like Jaden, she didn't want to risk her secret getting out. Katie didn't have a good idea or plan in her head. Katie didn't recognize the guy or most of the people here.

"You guys saw it too? A loud crash, bright purple light?"

Katie nodded her head as she was quiet. It was obvious that it was some kind of supernatural occurrence, but what and how? And more importantly, why are they all sent here? Katie Liao knew that the answer...

She looked around at the destroyed warehouse.

Was not here.

"Yeah, saw that shit with my own two eyes!" Jaden said as he threw his hands behind his head. "Shit came from the woods somewhere, I don't know the fuck it was."

"Well..." Rita trailed off. "Only light I saw was the headlights of the car that was about to run me over." She rolled her eyes.

"It's obvious you ain't from around here, girl," Jaden said, bored. "Don't get to keep remindin' us."

"This isn't right." She said casually, tuning into Jaden, Kaitie, and Terry's conversation. "If this is the warehouse I think it is, there should be a massive red white and blue dick drawn with spraypaint on that wall."

"Of course the first thing to clue ya' in that something's wrong is the lack of a spraypainted dick." Jaden laughed. Of course, he wouldn't know because he doesn't hang around these parts. This looked like the part of Araminta where the methheads and prostitutes fucked each other. If he was the one pointing out something was wrong he'd probably notice the lack of used needles, broken condoms, and a methed out tweaker in the corner. He looked around, speaking of a methed out tweaker, he noticed a girl on the ground. She didn't get up yet so Jaden decided to give her a prod. Just to make the magic light didn't kill her or anything. He walked up to her and gave her a light kick, saying, "Yo, wake up."

And that's what she did. She woke up and walked the fuck off. Jaden shrugged as he figured he should go do the same, but he had a feeling that wasn't going to end well. "Maybe one of you females should do your thing and go after her."

"Why don't you do it?" Rita asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey, I know better than to follow some white girl around," Jaden said with a grin only to earn eye rolls from Rita. "Next thing you know the law's gonna be on my ass, and she'll be saying 'He was stalking me, eeee!' while they put on the cuffs."

He shook his head.

Okay so I made an oppsie with the Awakened: I forgot all about their sigils which are an important part of them. When you get the chance, edit your sheets and add a sigil and a location to your Awakened characters like I did with mine.
Somewhere in Araminta...?

There was a house in the middle of the woods, three stories and stood ominously as the only house for miles. Abandoned for some time, a stranger in a leather jacket and a hoodie brushed the For Sale sign as he walked up the stairs with a purpose. He pushed open the wooden door and was almost instantly assaulted by the smell of mold and what smelled like decaying meat. The stranger pushed past it all as he walked through the house to the kitchen. The first sight was the refrigerator as he walked over and threw it open and grabbed a gallon of milk. He ignored the rancid smell as he popped the top off and just downed it all. With some of the disgusting spoiled milk landing on his body, he shook his head as he tossed it aside. He turned around and walked towards a door to the basement. He walked down the stairs to what would be a normal basement if it wasn't for the tunnel that was carved into the place.

The stranger walked into the dark tunnels and keep going until he ended up in a massive staircase that was seemingly out of a castle. At the top were two massive wooden doors that emanated a strange red light, and this stranger went up the stairs through the doors. The first sight was a massive hall and at the center were stairs that lead up to a massive golden throne with a strange figure sitting in it. It was shadowy, it's silhouette was strangely feminine. The stranger walked up to the foot of the stairs and took a knee, placing the switchblade that was in his hand on the ground in front of him.

"Ah, I see," The figure spoke in a feminine voice. "You have done well."

An orb of red light appeared in her hand as it gracefully landed on the hooded figure. "You deserve a reward, and a reward you shall get. We still have more work to do," When it hit the figure in the hood and mask, it caused a red light to surge throughout his entire being. The figure in the throne smiled and her white teeth could be seen through the darkness perfectly as if they were being illuminated by light.

"Go on, collect more...."

Araminta, Pennslyvania. 6:48 PM, Monday June 3rd.

The sun was setting over Araminta just as it did many days. Today Jaden wished that he could say it was any different, but he was spending all day on his bicycle. Pedaling from one place to another putting up missing signs... only for most of them to get taken down. If there was one time he wanted this cracker ass town to do the right thing... it'd be now. He ended up at a convenience store on top of a hill that overlooked the river. It was quite beautiful, but he didn't have time to take in the scenery... that not he cared. His eyes were baggy and his legs were desperately calling him for a rest. He had to find Cierra, even if it killed him.

Jaden sighed. He knew Cierra was still alive because... because he would just know if she was deceased. Every now and then he receives a vision or two of her. Lost. Walking around a strange version of Araminta, Pennslyvania. Weird. He wasn't sure if it was just a dream or if it was the real thing, but these powers of theirs have to be good for something. Anything.

Placing the tape on the topmost part of the missing poster he hopped back on his bike when he heard a crash... A great crash that could be heard all over Araminta and Jaden's head whipped towards the direction of the woods as he saw a massive pillar of purple light piercing through the heavens. Jaden raised an eyebrow as he looked in awe... Araminta just got a lot weirder.

... And soon enough, he was engulfed in the purple light.

"Justin," Katie said in Chinese as she huffed as she damn near ran up the stairs. "You gotta slow down just a bit."

The girl clutching her purse with one hand slid the keys into the doorknob and turned it to the left. This was a lot to handle... her brother who went missing a few months ago turned out safe and sound. Telling her a bunch of craziness on the clock! Katie was wearing her generic coffee shop uniform which consisted of black jeans with a white dress shirt tucked into it and a red apron. When she made it into her dorm she marched directly to her bed and sat down on it.

"Katie, I can't," Justin said, rather hurriedly, "I can't calm down and I can't put into words what happened."

"It was an earthquake," Katie said.

"But, that's not what happened... you're still in Pennslyvania, right?" Justin said. "I wish I could show you the things I can see but you're too far away."

"Brother, did you hit your head?" Katie said with a pause as she undid the tie on her apron and let it fall off. She laid on her back as she softly spoke, "Because you are not making any sense."

"I don't think I should say this over the phone, but magic... it's real," Justin said and immediately Katie paid attention.

"Wait, did you just say magic is real?" Katie asked.

"Ha, sounds like you know something, too," Justin said, "I have to show you, I can't explai-"

Suddenly that great crash appeared and made Katie drop her phone, and she almost fell off. She looked at the window and saw the purple light... she wasn't in the angle to see the pillar but she can see the great light it gave off as it engulfed her too like it did many others.

Is this the light they talked about?

You know, the light you see when you die.

I didn't think it came from a high beam.

Or was it a high beam?

It didn't seem like a high beam? Or a light any car could give off.

And trust me I have seen a fuckton of those and this light felt different.

Much different.

I like it.

I hope it never ends.

Because it fills me with strength.

Passion.

Love.

And most of all...

Anticipation.

So...

What kind of light is it?

Rita opened her eyes.

She suddenly gasped for air as she desperately looked around herself, sitting up. She thought that she was dead! By all means, she should be at the speed that the car was going. All she saw around herself was this... warehouse? That's what it looked like. It reminded her a bit of that place she partied in a few times. Just an empty room that let in the setting sun - which was weird as hell because it was night time last time she checked. Was she unconscious? No. She didn't fall asleep at all, she was fully conscious just engulfed by light of some sort. She eventually hopped up to her feet as she looked around. She wasn't alone in the room as it seemed a good dozen other people were in the room as her. All on the ground.

"... What in the fuck was that?!" Jaden loudly shouted as he hopped to his feet. He looked around, confused as all hell. "Where the hell am I?!"

"I doubt anyone here has the answer," Kaitlyn said as she also rose to her feet. She dusted off the back of her clothes before she pulled her button out from her pants. "So how about you stop yelling, please? It's unnecessary."

Jaden grumbled as he stood up. He looked at Kaitlyn as he said, "Fine." His first instinct was to just get up and start walking back home. He shook his head as he marched on before being stopped.

"Hey!" Rita shouted at him before she wrapped her arms around herself because it was cold here. "This place doesn't look like Florida, does it?"

Jaden looked at Rita with a blank face. "... Of course, this ain't Florida. We - I believe - are in Araminta, Pennslyvania. But, I doubt a magical purple light teleported us just to this warehouse." Jaden shook his head as he crossed his arms. He realized that things were probably not straight forward... or he was just being paranoid. Still, the Marines taught him strength in numbers. He shouldn't wander off alone.

"Ara- what?" Rita asked.

"Araminta, never heard of it? Well, neither did a lot of people, girl," Jaden said as he looked around. More and more people are getting up. He had a strange feeling about this place.

That he couldn't accurately say he was in Araminta.
@wxps350 also pretty gay

LIMITS ⫻ The Extra-Normal are far more durable against the spirit, to being able to destroy the spirit with their own extra-normal abilities. They also hamper his ability to place curses, as Tristian can place curses on the Blind from any range. To place a curse on the extra-normal he has to be within five miles of the person. Tristian also needs to be aware of the person's appearance to place the curse on them, all he needs to do is see the person just one time for him to place the curse. When he curses somebody, he can create up to three spirits at a time and if they are destroyed the spirit is gone forever so it only has one chance. The spirits have a range of around the city limits of Araminta. The Spirits also have a time limit; if they do not kill their target within a day they will turn their sights on Tristan for revenge and he'll have to destroy them.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Tristan's puts a part of his soul into his abstraction and while his spirits are active he's physically much weaker. He won't be as strong, won't be able to run as fast, and his stamina will tank. The more spirits are created the weaker Tristan will be. If a spirit is defeated he'll be weaker for about twenty munutes.
@Drag worst character ever, rejected

LIMITS ⫻ Like most Extra-Normal beings, they are far more resistant to his sound-based attacks and he cannot freely manipulate their sound. Terry's abstraction has a range of around fourteen feet but he closer he is the more control he has over his ability. The ability has a limit on how much he can use it, or a charge, so to speak. The second he uses his abstraction it'll gradually start to weaken until he is powerful (along with another effect in the weakness section). He'll have to wait up to an hour for his abstraction to come back but long as he doesn't go all out he won't lose his entire abstraction.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Terry's body doesn't really react to well to sound being altered and all of that echolocation. Using his ability causing nausea and disorients him for a period of time - at worst he can be profusely vomiting and have no sense of balance. Terry's sound blasts also come with a recoil effect that'd throw him off balance for a few seconds - or if he's not careful to knock him directly onto his ass. Also, as he loses his ability his voice and hearing are also supernaturally lost, and if he cuts loose he won't be able to speak or hear. It's almost as if it's a barrier that stops sound from leaving or coming in.
